‘Anti-Semitism’ Used as Shield by Far Left Politician. The Only Problem? He’s Not Jewish.

Sir Keir Starmer, leader of the Labour Party, is deflecting criticism of his plans to stop working after 6 PM on Fridays if he becomes Prime Minister by invoking Judaism. Sir Keir, projected to win Britain’s July 4 snap election by a large margin, has hit back at critics, saying, “I would have thought to anybody it’s blindingly obvious that a Friday night is quite important in some religions and faiths.”

Shabbat, the Jewish Day of Rest, begins at sunset on Fridays. However, unlike his wife, the Labour leader is neither religiously nor ethnically Jewish, so it not clear why criticism of his desire to avoid work on Fridays would be anti-Semitic, as his defenders claim.

The Starmer family does not even observe Shabbat at all times, with Sir Keir telling the press, “Obviously [his wife’s] dad’s side of the family is Jewish, as people will appreciate, and we use that for family prayers—not every Friday, but not infrequently.”

Sir Keir’s father is said to have been a militant atheist, while his mother was Anglican. He claims he was “brought up Church of England, loosely” and is now an atheist. There is no evidence of Jewish ancestors in his family tree.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says he has not “finished at 6 PM ever” and that clocking off so early in the evening would leave him unable to do the job properly.

Sunak’s Conservative Party is branding the Labour leader ‘Sir Sleepy’ and pitching voters that they “deserve better than a part-time prime minister,” in hopes this attack line will avert what is projected to be a “massacre” at the ballot box on Thursday.

It’s 2025 and DC Democrat Party Operatives Are Still ‘Working from Home.’

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Democratic National Committee (DNC) announced a full-time return to office for its workers, sparking discontent among the staff and its union.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: DNC Chairman Ken Martin, DNC staff, and the union representing them, Local 500 of the Service Employees International Union.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The announcement was made at an all-staff meeting on Wednesday, with the return to the Washington, D.C. office set for February.

💬KEY QUOTE: “If DNC staff members did not like his return-to-work policies, they should consider finding another job elsewhere.” – Ken Martin

🎯IMPACT: The union called the decision “callous” and is considering its options, while some staff members expressed frustration and disagreement.

IN FULL

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has mandated a return to full-time in-person work at its Washington, D.C. headquarters, effective February. Chairman Ken Martin shared this update during a Wednesday all-staff call.

He stressed the importance of everyone being in the office to avoid isolated information bubbles and to handle urgent decisions as the midterm elections approach. The news sparked quick pushback from both those present in person and remote participants on Zoom.

Staff at the DNC, represented by Local 500 of the Service Employees International Union, decried the policy as “callous.” Union leaders voiced dismay over Martin’s brush-off of employee worries.

Addressing the uproar, Martin advised that anyone dissatisfied with the rule should look for jobs elsewhere and likened the shift to removing a “Band-Aid.” Fresh off ratifying a collective bargaining deal over the summer, the union is now considering its next steps.

This move aligns with broader patterns across U.S. corporations and federal agencies, where remote setups are increasingly being phased out.

Comey, James Seek to Block Trump’s Prosecutor Overseeing Their Cases.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Attorneys for Letitia James and James Comey are seeking to disqualify U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan, alleging her appointment was illegal.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Letitia James, James Comey, U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan, Judge Cameron Currie, and Attorney General Pam Bondi.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The hearing is scheduled for Thursday in federal court, presided over by Judge Cameron Currie in South Carolina.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The law allows the attorney general only one appointment of up to 120 days, after which the post must be filled by other means.” – Attorneys for James and Comey

🎯IMPACT: If Halligan is disqualified, it could jeopardize the indictments against James and Comey, as she was the only prosecutor to sign and present the cases to grand juries.

IN FULL

Attorneys for New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) and former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey will appear in federal court on Thursday in an attempt to have interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan disqualified from prosecuting their cases. The hearing will be overseen by Judge Cameron Currie, a Clinton appointee, in South Carolina, with the legal teams for James and Comey expected to move that Halligan’s appointment is illegal under federal law.

Halligan, one of President Donald J. Trump’s former personal lawyers, was named by Attorney General Pam Bondi as interim U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia in September. Halligan replaced Erik Siebert, who resigned after reportedly refusing to bring charges against Comey and James.

James and Comey’s legal teams claim Halligan’s appointment violated legal limits on who can serve as an interim U.S. attorney. They argue that the federal statute allows for only one 120-day appointment by the attorney general, after which the position must be filled by court-directed means. The Department of Justice (DOJ), however, contends that Siebert’s resignation reset the 120-day clock, permitting Bondi to appoint Halligan temporarily.

The issue is significant because Halligan was the sole federal prosecutor to sign the indictments and present evidence to grand juries in the cases against James and Comey. If disqualified, it could impact the validity of the indictments. Three other DOJ prosecutors have already been disqualified by federal courts in related matters.

Migrant Men Face Charges in Fresh Rape Gang Scandal.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Seven men were charged with over 40 offences, including sexual exploitation and drug-related crimes, against 11 teenage victims in Bristol.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Alleged predators Mohamed Arafe, Sina Omari, Wadie Sharaf, Hussain Bashar, Mohammed Kurdi, and a 19-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, unnamed in most sources but identified as Sardam Ahmed and Ihab Al-Eisawi by journalist Charlie Peters.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The offences occurred between 2022 and 2025 in Bristol. The suspects were re-arrested on November 11 and will appear in Bristol Magistrates’ Court.

💬KEY QUOTE: “This remains a complex and sensitive investigation which has the protection of young girls from exploitation and the disruption of offending at its very heart,” said Detective Chief Inspector Tom Herbert.

🎯IMPACT: The arrests highlight Britain’s ongoing issues with grooming gangs, not only with South Asian heritage Muslims but now recently arrived migrants from the Middle East.

IN FULL

Seven men in England have been charged with more than 40 offences, including rape, sexual exploitation, and drug-related crimes, involving 11 teenage victims in Bristol. The alleged crimes took place between 2022 and 2025. All suspects were re-arrested during a targeted police operation on November 11 and are due to appear before Bristol Magistrates’ Court.

Those charged include Mohamed Arafe, a Syrian Arab, Sina Omari, an Iranian Arab, Wadie Sharaf, a Syrian Arab, Hussain Bashar, a British citizen whose ethnicity is not officially confirmed, and Mohammed Kurdi, a British citizen of Arab ethnicity. Two additional suspects, a 19-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, go unnamed in several reports, but journalist Charlie Peters has identified them as Sardam Ahmed, from Iraq, and Ihab Al-Eisawi, from Egypt. Peters reports that Ahmed and Al-Eisawi arrived in Britain illegally on small boats, while Arafe was imported by the government in 2019 under a Syrian refugee resettlement scheme.

Detective Chief Inspector Tom Herbert, who is leading the investigation, said: “This remains a complex and sensitive investigation which has the protection of young girls from exploitation and the disruption of offending at its very heart. Working with our partners, we’ve ensured the most appropriate safeguarding measures and support has been made available to each victim to protect them from harm.”

Bristol Superintendent Deepak Kenth added: “We know this update will be a huge shock to our communities and I want to reassure everyone that we’ll continue to work tirelessly to protect children from abuse and exploitation.”

According to police, Arafe faces five counts of arranging or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child, as well as drug supply charges. Omari has been charged with multiple counts of rape and sexual exploitation. Sharaf, Bashar, and Kurdi face similar allegations, with specific details outlined by investigators.

The case comes amid renewed national scrutiny of group-based child sexual exploitation in the United Kingdom, following a series of high-profile reviews and reopened investigations forced by pressure from figures including Reform Party leader Nigel Farage and X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk.

Earlier this year, a government-commissioned audit found that police forces had failed to identify a disproportionate number of South Asian and Pakistani-heritage Muslim men suspected of involvement in grooming gangs that targeted white girls. Notably, the audit found that ethnicity data had been omitted in the majority of relevant cases, obfuscating the scale of the predation.

The British Home Office, roughly equivalent to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, has directed police across England and Wales to begin recording ethnicity and nationality data in all child sexual abuse investigations—although similar instructions have been ignored before.

The National Crime Agency (NCA) is currently overseeing a review of thousands of historic grooming gang files across the country, after internal audits revealed that some cases may have been prematurely closed. However, survivors have criticized the government’s handling of a planned national inquiry into grooming gangs, with several members of a victims’ liaison panel resigning and calling for the resignation of the government’s safeguarding minister.

BREAKING: The Democrat Government Shutdown is Finally Over.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Democrat-caused government shutdown has ended after the House of Representatives passed a temporary funding bill.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: House Republicans, House Democrats, Senate Republicans, Senate Democrats, President Donald J. Trump, federal government agencies, and air traffic controllers.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The shutdown ended late Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

🎯IMPACT: The funding deal keeps the government open through January 30, 2026; covers the annual appropriations of the Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), military construction, and the legislative branch; includes measures reversing federal layoffs implemented during the shutdown and guarantees Senate Democrats a vote on extending enhanced Obamacare subsidies.

IN FULL

A bill providing temporary funding for the federal government is headed to President Donald J. Trump‘s desk after being adopted by the House of Representatives along a party-line vote. The legislation, pushed by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), passed the Senate late Monday and will provide government funding through January 30. Additionally, the measure includes annual appropriations covering the Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Department of Veterans Affairs, military construction, and the legislative branch.

The deal also includes measures reversing federal layoffs implemented during the shutdown and guarantees Senate Democrats a vote on extending enhanced Obamacare subsidies. However, the House has not definitively stated that it will take up the Obamacare subsidies, frustrating far-left lawmakers such as Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), both of whom pushed their colleagues to vote against the funding measure.

Importantly, the adoption of the bill ends the 43-day government shutdown that began on October 1 when Senate Democrats began a filibuster against a House-passed funding bill, effectively defeating the measure. The Senate held 15 failed votes on the funding package before finally adopting the new compromise on the 16th vote.

While the initial weeks of the Democratic shutdown saw little disruption for most Americans, as the funding lapse dragged on—eventually becoming the longest in history—a number of federal operations encountered significant issues. Most noticeable was travel chaos as air traffic controllers went without pay. Last Friday, over 1,000 flights were cancelled and nearly 10,000 were delayed as many of the nation’s largest airports saw dangerous shortages of air traffic controllers.

$100 Million Ukraine Corruption Scandal: Zelensky Ally Flees to Israel Amid Police Raids.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Ukrainian security forces raided the apartment of businessman Timur Mindich, a close associate of President Volodymyr Zelensky, as part of a $100 million corruption investigation. Mindich fled the country hours before the raid. Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko has also been targeted, and is now suspended as the investigation unfolds.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Timur Mindich, President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), and Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Investigations began in 2024; raids and searches were conducted recently in Ukraine, with Mindich reportedly fleeing to Israel.

💬KEY QUOTE: “All effective measures against corruption are crucial. The certainty of punishment is essential.” – President Volodymyr Zelensky

🎯IMPACT: The raids highlight Ukraine’s ongoing corruption issues, increasing pressure on Zelensky’s administration as public dissatisfaction grows.

IN FULL

Ukrainian law enforcement officers have raided the apartment of businessman Timur Mindich, a close associate of President Volodymyr Zelensky, as part of a $100 million corruption investigation conducted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). Mindich fled the country just hours before the raid, reportedly traveling to Israel, raising suspicions that he may have been tipped off.

According to NABU, the investigation, code-named “Midas”, was the result of a 15-month operation involving more than 1,000 hours of wiretapping and 70 raids across Ukraine. Investigators allege that a criminal group created a large-scale corruption network within Energoatom, the state-owned nuclear energy producer. The group is accused of forcing suppliers to pay kickbacks of 10 to 15 percent of contract values to ensure prompt payments and retain their supplier status.

“Particular attention was paid to cryptocurrencies. Most operations, including cash withdrawals, took place outside Ukraine. For example, during foreign delegations of representatives of state bodies and the management of state-owned energy sector enterprises,” NABU stated.

NABU confirmed that Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko was also among those targeted by searches, and he has since been suspended pending further investigation.

Mindich, once a business partner and long-time friend of Zelensky, co-owned the entertainment company Kvartal 95 with him. Zelensky divested his shares after taking office in 2019. Mindich has also been linked to Ukrainian oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky, another Zelensky associate and prominent sponsor, and reportedly provided Zelensky with an armored car during his election campaign These connections have amplified political scrutiny of the president.

“All effective measures against corruption are crucial. The certainty of punishment is essential,” Zelensky said in response to the raids.

The case has intensified public frustration over corruption in Ukraine. A recent survey found that 77.6 percent of Ukrainians hold Zelensky personally responsible for persistent graft. The raid follows a summer of turmoil in Kiev after the government’s controversial attempt to curb the independence of key anti-corruption institutions.

In July, protests erupted nationwide after parliament moved to place NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) under the Zelensky-appointed Prosecutor General’s oversight, a step critics said would neuter the agencies’ autonomy. Following several days of mass demonstrations and international condemnation, lawmakers reversed the decision.

The political fallout has drawn international attention. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán opposes Ukraine’s bid for European Union (EU) membership due to widespread corruption and democratic backsliding.

Russian officials have sought to publicize the crisis, describing the raids and protests as signs of “panic” within Zelensky’s administration.

FDA Issues Recall for ADHD Medication.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Sun Pharmaceutical Industries issued a voluntary recall of several lots of lisdexamfetamine dimesylate capsules due to a quality control defect.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and millions of Americans on attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) medication.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The recall affects capsules with expiration dates ranging from February 2026 to May 2026, manufactured by Ohm Laboratories in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

💬KEY QUOTE: The FDA stated the recall was classified as Class II, meaning the defect “may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.”

🎯IMPACT: Millions of ADHD patients may experience reduced therapeutic effects, potentially worsening symptoms like fatigue or concentration issues.

IN FULL

A major drug recall is underway, potentially impacting millions of Americans who are prescribed isdexamfetamine dimesylate capsules—a generic attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) treatment. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries initiated the voluntary recall.

Notably, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classified the recall as Class II, indicating the defect “may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences,” though the risk of serious harm is remote. Patients are advised not to stop taking the medication without consulting their healthcare provider and to seek guidance for a safe replacement.

The recall includes 100-count bottles of 10 mg to 70 mg capsules with expiration dates ranging from February 2026 to May 2026. Affected batch numbers include AD42468, AD48705, AD42469, AD48707, AD42470, AD48708, AD48709, AD50894, AD48710, AD50895, AD48711, AD50896, AD48712, and AD50898.

Lisdexamfetamine dimesylate, commonly marketed under brand names like Vyvanse and Arynta, is prescribed to manage ADHD symptoms such as impulsiveness, disorganization, and difficulty focusing. Prescriptions for this medication have risen significantly, accounting for 19 percent of all stimulant prescriptions in 2023, with over nine million prescriptions dispensed that year.

The medication, manufactured by Ohm Laboratories in New Jersey, is a prodrug that becomes active only after being metabolized into dextroamphetamine, offering a smoother, longer-lasting effect.

Transurrection: Petition to Oust Schumer from Senate Leadership Hits 50,000 Signatures.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A petition to remove Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has surpassed 50,000 signatures, following criticism of his leadership during recent legislative battles.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Transgender activist Charlotte Clymer (born Charles Clymer), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and several Democrat lawmakers, including Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Seth Moulton (D-MA).

📍WHEN & WHERE: The petition was launched in March 2023 and has gained momentum following a recent Senate vote on a continuing resolution to fund the government.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We need new leadership to meet this grave moment, and we need it now.” – Charlotte Clymer

🎯IMPACT: Growing calls for Schumer to step down, with at least 11 Democrat lawmakers, 15 organizations, and eight Democrat candidates supporting his removal.

IN FULL

A petition led by transgender activist Charlotte Clymer, formerly Charles Clymer, calling for the removal of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has surpassed 50,000 signatures, reflecting growing frustration with Democratic leadership. Clymer’s petition accuses Schumer of failing to effectively oppose President Donald J. Trump and tech billionaire Elon Musk, describing the 74-year-old Democrat’s leadership as “impotent” and lacking “a comprehensive plan or strategy to combat the efforts by Trump and Elon Musk to demolish the federal government and harm the American people.” In his statement accompanying the petition, Clymer wrote, “We need new leadership to meet this grave moment, and we need it now.”

The petition, launched in March after Schumer voted to advance a Republican continuing resolution (CR) funding bill, has regained momentum following a recent Senate vote on a similar funding measure. Though Schumer opposed the latest resolution, enough Senate Democrats joined Republicans to pass it, prompting backlash. The progressive group Indivisible has urged candidates to reject Schumer’s leadership and “abandon the status quo of feckless leadership.”

So far, 11 Democratic lawmakers, 15 organizations, and eight Democratic candidates have joined calls for Schumer to step aside. The protests organized under the “No Kings” movement have amplified these demands, framing them as part of a broader push for generational and ideological change in Senate leadership. Despite the mounting criticism, Schumer has insisted, “Look, I’m not stepping down.”

The growing rift over Schumer’s leadership mirrors wider divisions inside the Democratic Party. Earlier this year, anti-gun rights activist David Hogg attempted to launch a multi-million-dollar campaign aimed at challenging incumbent Democrats in safe districts who were not deemed woke enough.

Veteran strategist James Carville blasted Hogg’s effort, calling him a “contemptible little twerp” for targeting members of his own party. The controversy deepened when the Democratic National Committee (DNC) later voided Hogg’s appointment as vice chair, citing gender-parity rules that required him to be a woman.

Far-Left UK Govt Halts Intel Sharing with US Over Trump’s Anti-Cartel Strikes.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The British government has ceased sharing intelligence with the U.S. regarding drug trafficking boats in the Caribbean, citing concerns over the legality of American military strikes against them.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: British and American governments, Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, other cartels, and President Donald J. Trump.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Britain, concerning operations in international waters in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.

💬KEY QUOTE: “There were massive amounts of drugs coming into our country to kill a lot of people, and everybody fully understands that.” – Donald Trump

🎯IMPACT: The decision to halt intelligence sharing highlights tensions between allies over military actions targeting drug traffickers.

IN FULL

The British government under Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has suspended intelligence sharing with the United States over operations targeting drug-trafficking boats in the Caribbean and Pacific, claiming concerns about the legality of a series of lethal American strikes in international waters. The decision comes after a September operation that killed 11 people and targeted alleged members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, followed by many more.

For years, the United Kingdom has provided intelligence to support U.S. efforts to track and intercept narcotics shipments across the Caribbean. However, officials in London have reportedly questioned whether recent strikes comply with international law. At least 76 people are believed to have died in these U.S. operations since early 2025.

President Donald J. Trump, who has defended the campaign, said of the narco-terrorists killed in the strikes, “Obviously, they won’t do it again. There were massive amounts of drugs coming into our country to kill a lot of people, and everybody fully understands that.” Secretary of State Marco Rubio has echoed that sentiment, saying in September, “Blow them up, get rid of them.”

Globalist United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk has condemned the strikes as “extrajudicial killing.” The U.S. government, which notably has not signed the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, maintains that its actions are lawful under its designation of Tren de Aragua as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

U.S. Will Restrict Visas for Fat Foreigners Under New Health Guidelines.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The U.S. State Department issued guidance recommending that fat people be denied immigrant visas.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The U.S. State Department, foreign nationals, and the Trump administration.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Recent guidance issued by the State Department in the United States.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The Trump Administration is putting the interests of the American people first.” – State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott

🎯IMPACT: Stricter visa policies aim to reduce the strain on the US healthcare system and prioritize national security.

IN FULL

New guidance issued by the U.S. Department of State recommends the denial of immigrant visas for foreign nationals who are obese or overweight. According to the guidance, obesity—along with other medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, and mental-health issues—adds strain to the country’s healthcare system, causing taxpayers to incur additional costs.

Notably, the health conditions listed by the State Department often result in skyrocketing healthcare expenses, sometimes upwards of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and prolonged hospital stays. “The Trump Administration is putting the interests of the American people first. This includes enforcing policies that ensure our immigration system is not a burden on the American taxpayer,” Tommy Pigott, a State Department spokesman, said.

The guidance is part of a broader effort to tighten visa policies. For instance, the cost of H-1B visas, intended for high-skilled workers, has risen to $100,000 annually. Previously, these visas came with administrative fees totaling approximately $2,000 to $4,000. While supporters like Elon Musk have endorsed the increase, critics complain that the policy harms corporate revenue and shareholder returns.

The State Department has also maintained travel restrictions on nationals from countries such as Afghanistan, Iran, and Yemen, among others. A senior State Department official noted, “The Department of State is committed to protecting our nation and its citizens by upholding the highest standards of national security and public safety through our visa process.”

Texas AG Paxton Files Lawsuit Against Nonprofit for Illegally Registering Immigrants to Vote.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) filed a lawsuit against JOLT Initiative, Inc., alleging unlawful voter registration practices involving illegal immigrants.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, JOLT Initiative, Inc., and its Executive Director Jackie Bastard.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The lawsuit was announced on Monday in Texas.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The left constantly tries to cheat and rig elections because they know they can’t win honestly. Any organization attempting to register illegals, who are all criminals, must be completely crushed and shut down immediately.” – Ken Paxton

🎯IMPACT: Paxton seeks to dissolve JOLT’s charter, revoke its corporate privileges, and have the group cover legal costs, while JOLT is vowing to fight the case.

IN FULL

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) has announced his office is suing JOLT Initiative, Inc., a nonprofit organization accused of orchestrating illegal voter registration efforts. The lawsuit alleges that JOLT engaged in activities designed to undermine election integrity in Texas by registering illegal immigrants to vote.

According to the attorney general’s office, JOLT operatives stationed outside Texas Department of Motor Vehicles locations provided instructions that violated state election laws. The group’s volunteer deputy registrars allegedly solicited people to submit unlawful voter registration applications, potentially enabling illegal immigrants without proper identification to register.

“The left constantly tries to cheat and rig elections because they know they can’t win honestly. Any organization attempting to register illegals, who are all criminals, must be completely crushed and shut down immediately,” Paxton said in a statement, adding: “JOLT is a radical, partisan operation that has, and continues to, knowingly attempt to corrupt our voter rolls and weaken the voice of lawful Texas voters. I will make sure they face the full force of the law.”

Paxton’s lawsuit seeks to have JOLT forfeit its corporate privileges, dissolve its charter, and pay the state’s legal fees. In response, JOLT described the lawsuit as “unconstitutional” and vowed to fight back. Executive Director Jackie Bastard stated, “The Attorney General is abusing his authority by using the state’s legal tool of dissolution, an extreme measure, against JOLT simply because we are effective at registering Latino voters.”

JOLT has filed a motion requesting the court to either dismiss the case or transfer it to Houston, where the organization has offices.
