The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced this weekend that 80 percent of COVID-19 “Omicron variant” cases are found in so-called “fully vaccinated” individuals. Forty-seven percent of Omicron cases – which are far milder than original COVID-19 cases – are found in those who received the first round of vaccinations, and with 33 percent of cases found in people with both vaccination and booster shots. Only 19 percent of cases were identified in unvaccinated individuals. In a surveillance report released in the first week of December, the CDC described 43 cases of Omicron in the United States. Speaking at the 2017 Consortium of Universities for Global Health conference on a panel alongside Anthony Fauci, EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak admitted his controversial “work on coronaviruses in China” was carried out with “funding through” Fauci’s National Institutes of Health agency. The unearthed conference follows Fauci’s repeated attempts to distance his agency from the controversial New York-based non-profit, which, as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant registry shows, used the money to collaborate with the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The National Pulse has previously uncovered footage of Daszak describing the viruses he manipulated as part of his “longtime”

An unearthed video from February 2020 reveals Principal Deputy Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Anne Schuchat praising Chinese Communist Party-funded Confucius Institutes as an “asset” for America’s COVID-19 response. Schuchat, who began the position under the Obama administration in 2015, praised the controversial initiative during a February 2020 press briefing. During the briefing, a spokesperson from the group’s U.S. headquarters inquires “if there is a space for nonprofits like ours to get involved and help either through translation or community outreach.” “The language and cultural competence of an organization like yours can be an asset to
Former U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Dr. Robert Redfield revealed his belief that COVID-19 “escaped” from a Chinese lab. Speaking with Dr. Sanjay Gupta in an interview airing on March 28th, the virologist who led the CDC under President Trump made the bombshell claim. “Now, I am of the point of view that I still think the most likely aetiology of this pathogen in Wuhan was from a laboratory, escaped. The other people don’t believe that. That’s fine. Science will eventually figure it out. It’s not unusual for respiratory pathogens that are being worked on in a laboratory
Democratic Senators including Elizabeth Warren and Mazie Hirono introduced the “Anti-Racism in Public Health Act of 2021,” which would establish a Center on Antiracism at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The federally funded body would “declare racism a public health crisis and name racism as an historical and present threat to the physical and mental health and well-being of the United States and world” and “aim to develop new knowledge in the science and practice of antiracism.” To do so, the National Center on Antiracism and Health would study “the public health impacts of implicit racial bias, White
