A consortium of six European nations is pushing for a new, digital, cross-border payment system which ultimately aims to combine the EU Digital Identification program with a digital euro. A Bloomberg poll found that support for “Brexit” has grown even among individuals who voted to remain in the European Union in 2016. “Almost one in five of those who voted to remain in the EU in 2016 would choose to stay out now, according to the poll.
