Gaza Christians Say Israel Has Told Them to Flee Their Churches, But They Intend to Stay.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Greek Orthodox and Latin Patriarchates of Jerusalem say Israel is demanding they leave their churches in Gaza and evacuate, but they intend to remain where they are.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The Greek Orthodox and Latin Patriarchates of Jerusalem, the Israeli armed forces, and Gazans.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The Greek Orthodox and Latin Patriarchates of Jerusalem released a joint statement on August 26.

💬KEY QUOTE: “There can be no future based on captivity, displacement of Palestinians, or revenge,” the joint statement reads.

🎯IMPACT: Intensification of the war in Gaza could lead to the destruction of one of the oldest Christian communities in the Holy Land.

IN FULL

The Greek Orthodox and Roman Catholic Latin Patriarchates of Jerusalem have issued a joint appeal warning of a humanitarian catastrophe as Israel prepares to take control of Gaza City. In their statement, the Patriarchs condemned “the gates of hell” scenario unfolding in Gaza, where “massive military mobilization” and evacuation orders are forcing hundreds of thousands, including the Christian minority, to flee south.

Clergy and nuns at the Greek Orthodox compound of Saint Porphyrius and the Catholic Holy Family complex declared they would not flee. They say they are sheltering malnourished children, the elderly, and people with disabilities, describing leaving as “nothing less than a death sentence.” They argue that “There can be no future based on captivity, displacement of Palestinians, or revenge.”

Their plea echoes the words of Pope Leo XIV, who recently affirmed: “All peoples, even the smallest and weakest, must be respected… especially the right to live in their own lands; and no one can force them into exile.”

In an address on August 13, the America-born pontiff expressed deep concern about Gaza’s humanitarian crisis, warning, “The humanitarian crisis must be resolved… they must be freed. But we must also think of the many who are dying of hunger.

On July 17, 2025, an Israeli strike on Gaza’s only Catholic Church, Holy Family parish, killed three civilians and wounded ten, including parish priest Father Gabriel Romanelli. The building had become a refuge for both Muslims and Christians, including children with disabilities. Israel labeled the attack accidental, caused by stray tank fire, but the Patriarchate challenged this, saying it amounted to a grave violation of sanctity.

In response, Latin Patriarch Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa and Greek Orthodox Patriarch Theophilos III made a rare personal visit to Gaza on July 18. They brought hundreds of tons of emergency aid, coordinated evacuations for the injured, and offered solidarity to survivors.

President Donald J. Trump is reported to have been furious about the strike on the church, communicating his anger over the incident to the Israeli government directly.

September Jobs Report Surpasses Expectations with 119K New Positions.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The U.S. economy added 119,000 jobs in September, according to a Labor Department report released Thursday.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released the report.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The report, delayed due to a roughly 40-day government shutdown, was released on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

🎯IMPACT: The jobless rate rose to 4.4 percent in September, up from 4.3 percent in August, while job growth exceeded Wall Street expectations.

IN FULL

The Labor Department (DOL) reported that the U.S. economy added 119,000 jobs in September, exceeding Wall Street expectations. The report, released Thursday, was delayed due to a 43-day Democrat-caused government shutdown that affected federal agencies.

Notably, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), which prepared the report, announced it will not release an October jobs report as a result of the shutdown. Due to the lapse in funding, the BLS was unable to complete key surveys that are used to determine the number jobs added and the unemployment rate. However, the agency has indicated that it will release a partial sample of data for October, along with the November jobs report, when it is released in December.

The unemployment rate for September increased slightly to 4.4 percent, compared to 4.3 percent in August, according to the data. Wall Street analysts had predicted far fewer job gains, making the 119,000 figure a positive surprise for the markets.

The shutdown, which caused significant delays in federal operations, impacted the timing of key economic reports, including this one.

UK Supreme Court Declares Christian-Focused School Religious Education and Worship Unlawful.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom ruled religious education and collective worship in Northern Ireland schools unlawful due to their Christian focus.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: A pupil known as JR87, her father, and the Department of Education were involved.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The judgment was delivered on November 19, 2025, in the Supreme Court.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The concepts are two sides of the same coin: conveying knowledge in a manner that is not objective, critical, and pluralistic amounts to pursuing the aim of indoctrination.” – Lord Stephens

🎯IMPACT: The ruling will reshape education in Northern Ireland.

IN FULL

The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom has ruled that religious education (RE) and collective worship in Northern Ireland’s schools breach so-called human rights standards due to their Christian focus, and are therefore unlawful. The judgment follows an appeal brought by a pupil known as JR87 and her father, who argued that the Christian-based instruction at her Belfast primary (elementary) school did not respect their religious and philosophical beliefs.

In a unanimous decision, the court restored an earlier High Court ruling which held that the system of non-denominational Christian RE and daily worship failed to treat religion in an “objective, critical and pluralist manner.” The family first won their case in 2022, but the Court of Appeal later overturned that decision, prompting the appeal to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court argued that “all children are entitled to an education that respects their freedom of thought, conscience, and religion,” and rejected the idea that allowing parents to withdraw their children from RE could remedy any issues. The judges said the state must not place children in a position where they may feel “singled out or stigmatized” simply because they hold different beliefs from those assumed by the curriculum.

“The Court of Appeal fell into error in making a distinction between indoctrination and the state conveying information or knowledge in a manner which was not objective, critical, and pluralistic,” the court argued, citing the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). “The concepts are two sides of the same coin: conveying knowledge in a manner that is not objective, critical, and pluralistic amounts to pursuing the aim of indoctrination.”

The ruling comes at a time when Christianity and religious freedom in the United Kingdom are at the centre of several national debates. In recent years, the introduction of 150-metre “safe access zones” around abortion clinics in England and Wales has raised concerns among Christian groups, who argue that these measures criminalize even silent prayer.

Questions about the role and direction of Christianity in public life have also intensified following the 2025 appointment of Sarah Mullally as Archbishop of Canterbury, making her the first woman to hold the post. Critics, particularly in conservative Anglican circles, note she is supportive of liberal positions on issues such as abortion, viewing her elevation as evidence of a broader ideological shift to the left within the Church of England.

Target Partners with ChatGPT to Replace Store Associates with AI.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Target announced a partnership with OpenAI to allow customers to shop its products through ChatGPT.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Target, OpenAI, and ChatGPT users.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The tool will debut next week, ahead of the holiday shopping season, accessible via the ChatGPT app.

🎯IMPACT: This partnership reflects ongoing efforts to replace human workers, such as store associates, with AI.

IN FULL

Target is teaming up with OpenAI to allow customers to shop directly within the ChatGPT app, the company announced Wednesday. The feature, timed ahead of the holiday season, will give ChatGPT’s 800 million weekly active users access to Target’s products without leaving the platform.

Users will be able to tag Target in ChatGPT and request product suggestions, such as items for a family movie night. The AI will recommend products like blankets or snacks, and users can complete their purchases entirely within the app.

The move comes as Target navigates a challenging retail environment. The company reported a 2.7 percent decline in same-store sales and a 19 percent drop in profit in its latest quarter. Its financial struggles have been linked in part to boycotts over its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, along with broader economic pressures. In response, Target has implemented price cuts and announced a $1 billion investment plan aimed at revitalizing the brand.

Retail analysts say AI integration could enhance sales by creating a more personalized shopping experience. A recent Harris Poll found that nearly half of Gen Z consumers trust AI to assist with shopping and finding deals. Other major retailers, including Walmart, are also exploring AI partnerships to improve customer engagement and drive sales.

The National Pulse reported that Amazon aims to replace up to 600,000 roles with AI-powered robots as part of its long-term goal to automate 75 percent of its operations. Additionally, Amazon has introduced an AI seller assistant on its platform, which is currently in beta testing.

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has faced its own controversies, including internal whistleblower incidents and reports of models defying shutdown commands. Its leadership has also drawn attention for shifting political affiliations and for high-profile departures. Despite these issues, OpenAI continues to be a leading force in AI development, with tools now increasingly integrated into commercial applications.

Judge Blocks Ten Commandments Displays in Schools.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A federal judge in Texas issued a preliminary injunction requiring certain public school districts to remove displays of the Ten Commandments from classrooms.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Judge Orlando L. Garcia, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Texas, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, and families from diverse religious backgrounds.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The ruling was issued Tuesday, November 18, 2025, affecting public school districts across the state of Texas.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Once again, a federal court has recognized that the Constitution bars public schools from forcing religious scripture on students,” said Daniel Mach, director of the ACLU Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief.

🎯IMPACT: The decision temporarily halts enforcement of the Texas law requiring Ten Commandments displays, with further court proceedings expected to determine its ultimate fate.

IN FULL

A federal judge in Texas has temporarily blocked enforcement of a new state law requiring public schools to post the Ten Commandments, ordering several districts to remove the displays while a legal challenge proceeds. The preliminary injunction, issued by Judge Orlando L. Garcia, responds to a lawsuit filed by families of varying religious backgrounds who argue that the mandate violates the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. The plaintiffs include agnostic, atheist, Jewish, supposedly Christian, Hindu, and Baha’i families, all asserting that the state cannot compel their children to encounter devotional religious texts in a public-school setting.

In his ruling, Judge Garcia wrote that implementing the law would make it “impractical, if not impossible to prevent Plaintiffs from being subjected to unwelcome religious displays,” emphasizing that the families do not want their children pressured “to observe, venerate, or adopt the religious doctrine contained in the Ten Commandments.” The American Civil Liberties Union of Texas, which helped bring the lawsuit, praised the injunction as a crucial safeguard. Daniel Mach, director of the ACLU’s Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief, stated, “Once again, a federal court has recognized that the Constitution bars public schools from forcing religious scripture on students.” The organization called the decision a “win for religious freedom.”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R), defending the statute signed by Governor Greg Abbott (R) in June, sharply criticized districts that chose not to comply pending litigation. Paxton said he has already filed suits against those districts, warning that “No district may ignore Texas law without consequence” and accusing them of “blatantly disregarding the will of Texas voters.”

The dispute arrives amid intensifying nationwide debates over religious expression in public institutions. Louisiana recently attempted to implement a similar mandate requiring every public-school classroom, from kindergarten through university, to display the Ten Commandments in a large, standardized format. That law was halted after a federal court found it unconstitutional, highlighting the ongoing legal friction surrounding efforts to place biblical texts into government-run schools.

In other instances, schools have faced pressure to remove Christian imagery or murals following complaints about religious endorsement, fueling ongoing disputes over where to draw the line between individual expression and government promotion of faith.

At the national level, religious liberty has also become a renewed political focus. In 2025, President Donald J. Trump established a Religious Liberty Commission tasked with examining threats to Americans’ ability to practice their faith freely.

READ: Dissenting Judge Goes Nuclear in Texas Redistricting Case.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. Circuit Court Judge Jerry Smith has posted his dissent in Tuesday’s federal case, which saw a three-judge panel halt Texas from implementing its newly approved congressional map for the 2026 midterm elections.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: U.S. Circuit Court Judges Jerry Smith and Jeffrey Brown, plaintiffs, and the State of Texas.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The ruling against Texas came down on Tuesday, with Judge Smith’s dissent posted online on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The main winners from Judge Brown’s opinion are George Soros and Gavin Newsom. The obvious losers are the People of Texas and the Rule of Law. I dissent.”

🎯IMPACT: While Judge Smith’s dissent will have little immediate impact, a number of the issues raised in the document could form the basis of the opinion being overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court.

IN FULL

U.S. Circuit Court Judge Jerry Smith has posted his dissent in Tuesday’s federal case, which saw a three-judge panel halt Texas from implementing its newly approved congressional map for the 2026 midterm elections. The majority, led by Trump-appointee Judge Jeffrey Brown, found supposedly compelling evidence that the redrawn districts amount to racial gerrymandering.

However, in his dissent, fellow appellate judge Jerry Smith takes Brown and his colleagues to task over their ruling and their reliance on testimony from supposed experts who are allegedly bought and paid for by George and Alex Soros. “I append this Preliminary Statement to dispel any suspicion that I’m responsible for any delay in issuing the preliminary injunction or that I am or saw slow-walking the ruling. I also need to highlight the pernicious judicial misbehavior of U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Vincent Brown.” Judge Smith begins his dissent, before plunging headlong into a 160-plus page scathing critique of both the panel’s jurisprudence and Judge Brown’s behavior.

“The main winners from Judge Brown’s opinion are George Soros and Gavin Newsom. The obvious losers are the People of Texas and the Rule of Law. I dissent,” the conservative appellate judge writes, continuing: “One of the plaintiffs’ top experts is Matt Barreto. He is a paid Soros operative and does not attempt to hide it. His CV confirms it. He expects to receive $2.5 million from George and Alexander Soros.” Judge Smith adds, “Soros has been pumping money into Barreto’s UCLA Voting Rights Project for years. And this steady supply of money won’t stop until 2026, at the earliest. Unsurprisingly, Barreto has been on quite a road show for years, parading across the country opposing Republican redistricting. That is the tip of the iceberg. The lawyers are involved as well.”

“To his credit, the lead counsel for plaintiffs does not try to hide it, either. Chad Dunn acknowledged so in open court—he works with Barreto at the same Voting Rights Project that receives Soros funding,” Judge Smith notes, before moving on to Mark Elias’s involvement: “It does not stop there. The Elias Law Group draws from the Soros coffers, too. Counsel for the instant Gonzales plaintiffs, David Fox, is a partner at Elias, which ‘has collected more than $104 million’ from Democrat Party committees and donors, including Mr. Soros. Firm Chair Marc Elias formed entities, ‘tucked inside large existing nonprofits,” that “raised tens of millions of dollars from some of the richest donors on the left—including from foundations funded by Mr. Soros.'”

“On a silver platter, Judge Brown hands Soros a victory at the expense of the People of Texas and the Rule of Law. Judge Brown won’t tell you that. I just did,” Judge Smith states. The entire dissent is worth reading, albeit it is, as Judge Smith admits, very long.

Islamic Non-Profit Funded University Gaza Camp Protesters: Report.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A Muslim nonprofit awarded $1,000 checks to student activists disciplined for anti-Israel protests, as part of a fund that raised over $100,000 to support such individuals.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The California chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-CA), student activists, and organizations like the Tides Foundation and Weingart Foundation.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The fund awarded $20,000 to students in October 2024, with incidents spanning multiple universities like Columbia, Penn, and Harvard.

💬KEY QUOTE: “CAIR’s financial support for disciplined protesters creates a reward structure for increasingly militant activism.” – Network Contagion Research Institute

🎯IMPACT: CAIR faces federal and state scrutiny, with calls for investigations into its ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, and recent actions by Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) designating CAIR as a foreign terrorist organization.

IN FULL

The California chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-CA) has been thrust into renewed controversy after reports that it created a “Champions of Justice Fund” that collected more than $100,000 to support students disciplined for participating in anti-Israel protests. The Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) and the Intelligent Advocacy Network (IAN) state that the fund was designed to assist students who lost housing, scholarships, or university backing as a result of their activism.

In October 2024, $20,000 was distributed to 20 students from institutions including Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard. Among the highlighted beneficiaries was former Harvard student Ibrahim Bharmal, who had been convicted of assaulting a Jewish peer during a 2023 protest. Following the incident, Bharmal secured a $65,000 fellowship and later joined CAIR’s Los Angeles office.

NCRI argued that the organization’s financial support for sanctioned protesters “creates a reward structure” that could encourage more radical activism. At the same time, CAIR-CA has faced federal and state inquiries into alleged financial irregularities, compounding longstanding criticism directed at CAIR for its historical ties to Hamas. During the Holy Land Foundation trial, the group was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator, and prosecutors presented evidence linking CAIR’s early leadership to Hamas-connected networks.

The organization’s national leadership drew further scrutiny in November 2023 when CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad publicly praised Hamas’s October 7 assault on Israel, in which more than 1,200 people, nearly all civilians, were killed. The remarks prompted the former Biden regime to cut off formal engagement with CAIR. Despite intensifying criticism, CAIR honored Columbia activist Mahmoud Khalil as its 2025 “Champion of Justice,” even as critics accused him of involvement in Hamas-aligned activity.

Political pressure on CAIR escalated in Texas on November 18, 2025, when Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) designated both CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist organizations and transnational criminal groups, barring them from purchasing land in the state. National Republicans have also targeted the organization: Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) introduced legislation aimed at revoking the tax-exempt status of groups he says have ties to extremist movements, specifically naming CAIR, and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) has urged the IRS to investigate the group for potential violations related to alleged connections with Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

CAIR’s growing influence in electoral politics has also drawn attention. Activist Linda Sarsour claimed that a CAIR-funded political committee, the Unity and Justice Fund PAC, was the largest institutional contributor to a super PAC supporting New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, asserting that more than 80 percent of its donors were Muslim Americans.

Trump Close to Replacing Fed Chairman Powell: ‘I’d Love to Fire His Ass.’

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump criticized Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell for not lowering interest rates more quickly and suggested replacing him.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Trump, Jerome Powell, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Wednesday, at a Saudi Arabia-backed investment forum held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I’ll be honest, I’d love to fire his ass.” – Donald Trump

🎯IMPACT: Trump is accelerating the search for a new Federal Reserve chairman, with finalists expected to meet him after Thanksgiving.

IN FULL

U.S. President Donald J. Trump on Wednesday renewed his criticism of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, accusing him of not lowering interest rates quickly enough. Speaking at a Saudi Arabia-backed investment forum at the Kennedy Center in Washington, Trump expressed frustration with Powell’s policies.

“I’ll be honest, I’d love to fire his ass,” Trump said, adding that he has instructed Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to expedite the search for Powell’s replacement. Bessent, who was present at the event, has been tasked with identifying a successor for the Federal Reserve chairman.

Trump directed a pointed remark at Bessent during his speech, saying, “The rates are too high, Scott, and if you don’t get it fixed fast, I’m going to fire your ass,” though the comment was made in jest. Trump has frequently voiced dissatisfaction with Powell’s handling of interest rates.

Concerningly, the Federal Reserve’s Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) appears to be deeply divided on whether to cut rates again in December, despite market consensus having settled on the need for additional rate cuts. The odds of a rate cut have precipitously fallen for next month, adding to already mounting fears that the market is struggling with liquidity.

Bessent, leading the search for a new Federal Reserve chairman, recently said Trump is expected to meet with three finalists for the position after Thanksgiving. A decision is anticipated before Christmas, according to Bessent.

While Trump has praised Bessent’s performance as Treasury Secretary, he has also suggested that Bessent would be his preferred choice for the Federal Reserve role. However, Bessent has reportedly expressed a desire to remain focused on his current responsibilities at the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Cloudflare Explains Cause of Internet Outages, Apologizes.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A Cloudflare outage caused widespread website failures due to an internal technical error involving a faulty file.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Cloudflare, its customers, and internet users worldwide.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The outage occurred on November 18 and affected global Internet services.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We are sorry for the impact to our customers and to the Internet in general. Given Cloudflare’s importance in the Internet ecosystem any outage of any of our systems is unacceptable.” – Matthew Prince, Cloudflare CEO

🎯IMPACT: Major websites, including ChatGPT and X (formerly Twitter), were temporarily inaccessible, disrupting services for users worldwide.

IN FULL

Cloudflare, one of the world’s largest Internet infrastructure providers, experienced a significant outage on Tuesday that temporarily knocked major services offline, including ChatGPT and X (formerly Twitter). The disruption was triggered by a technical malfunction involving a “feature file” used to distribute threat-intelligence updates across the company’s network. According to Cloudflare, a database error caused the file to be populated with duplicate entries, doubling its size. Once the oversized file was pushed to servers across Cloudflare’s global network, it exceeded the maximum size limit the software could process, causing systems to fail simultaneously.

Early speculation, including from some within Cloudflare, centered on the possibility of a cyberattack. The company later confirmed that the outage stemmed from an internal problem rather than external interference. Engineers resolved the issue roughly six hours after it began. Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince issued an apology, stating, “We are sorry for the impact to our customers and to the Internet in general. Given Cloudflare’s importance in the Internet ecosystem any outage of any of our systems is unacceptable.”

The episode highlights how even routine internal updates can trigger major disruptions when they occur within organizations responsible for core Internet infrastructure. With Cloudflare supporting a large share of global web traffic, localized faults can escalate into broad service outages that are felt internationally.

The incident occurred amid heightened global tensions surrounding cybersecurity and infrastructure resilience. In recent months, China accused the United States’ National Security Agency (NSA) of orchestrating a sophisticated cyberattack against its National Time Service Center. Chinese authorities alleged that the NSA deployed numerous digital tools and exploited vulnerabilities over an extended period to infiltrate sensitive systems.

In the United States, officials have raised concerns over a growing number of cyberattacks targeting water utilities. Federal agencies have warned that many of these systems remain vulnerable due to outdated security practices, such as unchanged default passwords, weak network segmentation, and inadequate monitoring of industrial control systems. Analysts caution that successful attacks on water infrastructure could have immediate public health and safety repercussions.

Trump Secures Return of American Citizen Detained in Saudi Arabia.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Saad Almadi, a 75-year-old dual Saudi-American citizen, is on his way back to the United States after being detained in Saudi Arabia in 2021 over social media posts critical of the country’s royal family.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The Saudi Arabian government, President Donald J. Trump, Saad Almadi, and Ibrahim Saad Almadi.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Our family is overjoyed that, after four long years, our father Saad Almadi, is finally on his way home to the United States. This day would not have been possible without President Donald Trump and the tireless efforts of his administration.” — Ibrahim Saad Almadi

🎯IMPACT: Under pressure from the Trump White House, the Saudis relented on Wednesday, allowing the 75-year-old dual citizen to board a plane and leave the country for the United States.

IN FULL

Saad Almadi, a 75-year-old dual Saudi-American citizen, is on his way back to the United States after being detained in Saudi Arabia in 2021 over social media posts critical of the country’s royal family. Almadi’s son, Ibrahim Saad Almadi, announced his father’s return on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, which was confirmed just moments after the Saudi crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (known as MBS), took the stage with U.S. President Donald J. Trump at the 2025 U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum in Washington, D.C.

“Our family is overjoyed that, after four long years, our father Saad Almadi is finally on his way home to the United States,” Ibrahim wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter). He continued: “This day would not have been possible without President Donald Trump and the tireless efforts of his administration.”

Notably, after his re-election to office in 2024, President Trump has overseen a rapprochement of relations with the Saudi government after the former Biden government de-emphasized the importance of relations between the two countries. The Saudis have played a critical role in brokering the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, and have pledged significant investments in the United States under the Trump administration.

Ibrahim Saad Almadi went on to thank several Trump administration figures, as well as House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), for their role in brokering his father’s return home. In 2021, Saad Almadi was detained and charged with cyber crimes while visiting family in Saudi Arabia. Instead of being formally imprisoned, the 75-year-old was hit with an exit ban and not allowed to leave the country, essentially becoming a quasi-prisoner of the kingdom. However, under pressure from the Trump White House, the Saudis relented on Wednesday, allowing the 75-year-old dual citizen to board a plane and leave the country for the United States.

Arctic Frost Scandal’s Judge Boasberg Again Threatens to Hold Trump Officials in Contempt.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Far-left Federal Judge James Boasberg, who played an integral role in allowing the scandalous overreach of Jack Smith’s investigation into President Donald J. Trump and his allies, is once again considering contempt of court charges against Trump administration officials.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Judge James Boasberg and the Trump Department of Justice (DOJ).

📍WHEN & WHERE: Boasberg announced his intention to push forward with his contempt investigation on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

🎯IMPACT: Boasberg is demanding to hear from whistleblower Erez Reuveni and the Trump Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Drew Ensign. The far-left federal judge said he would inform all parties in writing by Monday on how he wishes to proceed.

IN FULL

Far-left Federal Judge James Boasberg, who played an integral role in allowing the scandalous overreach of Jack Smith‘s investigation into President Donald J. Trump and his allies, is once again considering contempt of court charges against Trump administration officials. On Wednesday, Boasberg informed Trump administration attorneys that he intends to proceed to the fact-finding phase on whether to hold officials in contempt of court for violating his March 2025 order barring deportations to El Salvador.

Critically, Boasberg is demanding to hear from whistleblower Erez Reuveni and the Trump Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Drew Ensign. The far-left federal judge said he would inform all parties in writing by Monday on how he wishes to proceed.

This past August, a federal appeals court set aside a contempt order filed by Boasberg against Trump officials. However, a second ruling by a federal appeals court this past Friday cleared the way for Boasberg to pursue a new contempt investigation. Still, it stopped short of restoring his prior contempt ruling.

The National Pulse has reported extensively on Judge Boasberg’s excessively partisan behavior on the bench. Notably, Boasberg was revealed to have played a critical and deeply concerning role in the Arctic Frost scandal, which saw Biden government special counsel Jack Smith pursue a far-reaching investigation that appears to have been intended to prevent the Republican Party from fairly competing in the 2024 election on the congressional and presidential levels. Non-disclosure orders regarding Smith’s Arctic Frost targets were signed in 2023 by federal judges Boasberg and Beryl Howell, preventing those whose phone records were subpoenaed by Smith from knowing so.

Boasberg’s intimate involvement in the scandal has led Representative Brandon Gill (R-TX) to introduce articles of impeachment against the federal judge. “Chief Judge Boasberg has compromised the impartiality of the judiciary and created a constitutional crisis. He is shamelessly weaponizing his power against his political opponents, including Republican members of Congress who are faithfully serving the American people within their jurisdiction,” Gill said regarding his impeachment resolution, adding: “I am proud to once again introduce articles of impeachment against Judge Boasberg to hold him accountable for his high crimes and misdemeanors.”
