The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is funding the United Nations’ Ukraine refugee resettlement program. The Microsoft co-founder’s charitable foundation pledged $1,000,003 to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), known as the UN Refugee Agency, to “support refugees fleeing Ukraine to bordering countries.” The grant was announced in March and is set to be distributed over the course of one year.
