After the release of yet another Planned Parenthood sting video, Jeb Bush and Ben Carson have sharpened their criticisms of the organization’s actions. Both Bush and Carson have called for Congress to investigate the organization which currently receives millions of dollars of taxpayer funding. Politico reported on an appearance Bush made in South Carolina:

“It just troubles me that you would sell body parts. It just makes no sense to me,” Bush said after visiting the Crisis Pregnancy Center here. “That is not a compassionate situation. Congress has every right to investigate these abuses, because [Planned Parenthood] receives $500 million dollars from the federal government.”

On the other hand, Carson, while appearing on a radio program in Iowa, chose to focus on the history of the group and President Obama’s support for the group. Christian Post reports that Carson stated:

“You wonder if [Obama] actually knows the history of Planned Parenthood and Margaret Sanger, who was trying to eliminate black people,” Carson replied. “That was the whole purpose of it.”
