SHOCK VIDEO: U.S. School Kids Targeted With CCP Propaganda, Letters From Xi Jinping

Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping implored U.S. schoolchildren to become “young ambassadors for Sino-American friendship” as part of a Confucius Institute led program operating in hundreds of K-12 schools, The National Pulse can reveal.

The controversial operations frequently garner criticism for their entrenchment in U.S. colleges given the fact they’re entirely funded by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and rife with “undisclosed ties to Chinese institutions, and conflicted loyalties.”

Teachers are pushed to use textbooks written by the CCP’s Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, part of an agency tasked with “mobilizing advocates for the interests of the CCP,” and intellectual property theft abounds.

Purporting to be language learning initiatives, Confucius Institutes are CCP propaganda fronts that have embedded themselves in U.S. elementary schools – public and private.

One such example of this extensive network is Cascade Elementary School in Orem, Utah.

The Confucius Institute operating at the taxpayer-funded K-5 school has also led to CCP military parades airing in classrooms and teacher Zheng Yamin vowing to instill “Chinese morality and cultures” onto her fourth-grade class.

Another Confucius Institute led initiative, requiring Cascade fourth-graders to become “pen pals” with Xi Jinping, was brandished across various Chinese state media outlets to tout U.S. interest in Chinese culture. In addition to exploiting American students as pawns in China’s global disinformation campaign, China Gl0bal Television Network (CGTN), a registered foreign agent in the U.S, was invited to the school to produce a segment on the exchange:

In response to the students’ letters, Xi responded:

Dear boys and girls: My greetings to you. I’m so happy to get lovely cards from you on the Chinese New Year. I have read them all. Thank you for the wonderful thoughts. I’ve been to the United States multiple times, but not yet to Utah. I hope there will be an opportunity for me to be there, and if so, to visit you all in person. Just like you, I’m also fond of reading and sports. No matter how busy I am, I always try to find some time for exercise. China, like the United States, is a very big country. We have a civilization that is over 5,000 years old. The Chinese people, like the American people, are warm-hearted and friendly. The Chinese language has over 1 billion speakers in the world. By learning it, you may know more about Chinese history and culture. I’m really glad to see that you can write such beautiful Chinese characters and are so fluent in the language. I hope you will keep at it, make even bigger progress, and become young ambassadors for Sino-American friendship. This year is the year of the rat in the Chinese lunar calendar. You’re most welcome to visit China.
Stacy Lyon, who oversees the program operating in nearly 70 schools, emphasizes to the ten-year-olds: “You can use your Chinese to help America and China work together.”
But as China vies to take over the U.S. from the inside out, its ability to dictate the narrative on China as a “friend” rather than a hostile competitor allows it to mold American students as amenable to the China-appeasing trade deals and turn a blind eye to the country’s economic exploitation – all at taxpayer expense.
