Zelensky Aide Attacks Catholics, Brands Pope ‘Russian Propagandist’.

One of Ukrainian leader President Volodymyr Zelensky’s top aides blasted Pope Francis as “an instrument of Russian propaganda” after he told Russian Catholic youth “not [to] forget your heritage.”

“You are heirs of the Great Russia, the Great Russia of saints, of kings, the Great Russia of Peter the Great, Catherine the Great… Never give up this heritage,” the pontiff said in a video call on August 25th.

“If we evaluate the Pope’s phrases with an open mind, we see that they are an unconditional encouragement to aggressive imperialism, an applause to the bloody idea of the ‘Russian world’, which implies the brutal destruction of the freedoms and lifestyles of others,” accused Zelensky aide Mykhailo Podolyak in an interview with the Italian press.

“Francis encourages Putin’s misanthropic ideology, his genocidal foibles. One has to wonder what the Catholic Church is, what Christianity is… It seems that the Pope has once again been an instrument of Russian propaganda,” he alleged.

“It is precisely by relying on the Peter-Catherine-Stalin triad that the Russian army comes to kill the Ukrainians. The Pope exalts them and Putin uses them to eliminate our identity.”

It was Catherine the Great who brought Crimea, claimed by both Ukraine and Russia, into the Russian Empire. Previously, it was occupied by the Crimean Khanate, a Muslim successor state to the Mongol Empire which owed fealty to the Ottoman Turks.

For centuries prior the Russian conquest, Muslim Tatars had carried away tens of thousnads of Christians from Russia, modern-day Ukraine, and even Poland and Hungary in slave raids, to be sold in the Ottoman-controlled Crimean port of Caffa.

Canada Issues U.S. Travel Warning for ‘2SLGBTQI+’ People.

The Canadian government has warned gay and trans pride activists as well as the ridiculously monikered ‘2SLGBTQI+’ people to be cautious when visiting the United States after a number of states, suggesting “gay rights” in America are on par with countries such as Uganda, Russia, and Egypt.

Global Affairs Canada’s U.S. tourist advice page warns those traveling to the U.S.: “Some states have enacted laws and policies that may affect 2SLGBTQI+ persons. Check relevant state and local law.” “2SLGBTQ+” stands for two-spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and anything else that can be thought of.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Canada, Chrystia Freeland, was quick to come out in defense of the advice, arguing, “Every Canadian government…needs to put at the centre of everything we do the interest and the safety of every single Canadian and every single group of Canadians. That’s what we’re doing now.”

Freelance, subsequently asked whether this could strain diplomatic ties between the two countries, went on to explain “I think our government has shown that that’s a priority . . . that we’re able to manage that relationship, regardless of the choices that the people of the United States make.”

Canada is one of the strongest proponents of Pride, with two provinces warning that it may be illegal not to celebrate Pride Months in schools earlier this summer.

UK Tells Citizens to Stop Heating Homes at Night to Meet Carbon Targets.

Britain’s Climate Change Committee (CCC) has urged millions of British citizens to refrain from heating their homes in the evening in an effort to help the government achieve its net-zero climate targets. They argue that houses should be pre-heated in the afternoon when electricity usage is lower.

The CCC’s call for behavior change aims to promote emissions reductions, which includes a transition away from gas boilers. Critics have argued against the CCC’s recommendations, warning the grid is already strained and that so-called renewables cannot meet demand.

The advice given by the CCC comes amidst government plans to ban the installation of new oil-powered boilers and promote the use of heat pumps. Chris Stark, the head of the CCC, has previously admitted he personally uses a gas boiler rather than a heat pump, however.

Whether Britain’s expensive green agenda can make any difference to the alleged problem of man-made climate change, even in theory, is doubtful. The People’s Republic of China alone has emitted more carbon in the last eight years than Britain has since the dawn of the Industrial Revolution.

Matt Gaetz Wants Pentagon Accountability for Training Coup Leaders.

In response to a string of coups in West Africa and the greater Sahel region by U.S.-trained military personnel, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., has authored an amendment to the 2024 defense spending bill, requiring the Pentagon to inform Congress about trainees who overthrow their governments, and collecting data on U.S.-mentored mutineers.

The Intercept reports at least 15 officers who received U.S. security assistance have been involved in 12 coups in the region during the war on terror. The proposed legislation, approved by the House Armed Services Committee in June, would require the U.S. Defense Secretary to submit a report listing the number of partner countries whose military forces have participated in U.S. training programs and subsequently engaged in coups or attempted to overthrow democratically-elected governments.

Several U.S.-trained military personnel were involved in coups in Burkina Faso, Chad, Gambia, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, and Niger. At least five leaders of the recent coup in Niger received American training, and they appointed five U.S.-trained members of the Nigerien security forces as governors. Despite these findings, neither AFRICOM nor the State Department tracks U.S.-trained African mutineers or the number of coups they have conducted. Rep. Gaetz’s proposed amendment seeks to address this lack of data by requiring the Pentagon to report on military personnel who, after receiving U.S. training, engage in coups or attempts to overthrow elected governments. The legislation is currently part of the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act under consideration by Congress.

Hungary’s Orban: ‘Trump Can Save the West.’

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has argued that Donald Trump is the man who can save the Western world and that the former President had the greatest foreign policy he has seen over the past several decades from any United States President. The endorsement from yet another leading populist-nationalist figure on the world stage is likely to deal a hammer blow to Trump’s presidential contenders, with “Mr. Brexit” Nigel Farage having offered his support to the 45th President in May.

Orban made the comments in an interview with Tucker Carlson on X (formerly Twitter). Carlson asked the Prime Minister of Hungary ten minutes into the interview, what his next move would be if he were in Joe Biden’s position or the head of NATO, whereupon Orban quickly responded, “peace immediately [and] call back Trump.”

“You can criticise him for many reasons I understand all the discussions, but you know the best foreign policy of the recent several decades belonged to him. He did not initiate any new war, he treated nicely the North Koreans and Russia, and even the Chinese. He delivered the policy which was the best one for [the] Middle East, Abraham Accords: So that was a very good foreign policy.”

“He’s criticized that he’s not educated enough to understand the world, this into the case… if he would’ve been the President at the moment of the Russian invasion… it would be not possible… So Trump is the man who can save the Western World and probably the human beings in the globe as well,” Orban added.

Orban’s arguments are particularly poignant as last month he claimed that world is heading for a major clash due to the declining power and influence of the United States.

National Archives Has 5,400 Biden E-mails Sent Under FAKE NAMES.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has confirmed it holds 5,400 undisclosed emails and other records linked to Joe Biden, created under fake names including Robin Ware, Robert L. Peters, and JRB Ware as Vice President.

The Southeastern Legal Foundation (SLF) forced NARA to confirm the existence of the records through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, but the supposedly independent U.S. government has dragged its heels on actually producing them.

The SLF, which says Biden “used [the] three personal pseudonym email accounts to forward government information and discuss government business with his son, Hunter Biden, and others” has now filed a lawsuit against NARA in an effort to force them to hand over the trove.

Previously disclosed emails between Joe and Hunter Biden related to the latter’s business deals with Ukraine and the Burisma energy firm are redacted, and NARA is being pressured by Congress to turn over full, original copies of these as well, to assist the House Oversight Committee’s ongoing investigation into the Biden family.

Biden Govt Lets ISIS-Linked Migrants Into America, FBI Struggling to Track.

The FBI is conducting an investigation into over a dozen Uzbek nationals who were permitted entry into the United States after seeking asylum at the southern border with Mexico earlier this year. Multiple US officials have stated that the investigation was initiated after it was discovered that the migrants had the assistance of a smuggler linked to ISIS. While no specific ISIS plot has been identified, FBI officials are working to identify and assess all individuals who gained entry to the US and are scrutinizing some of them as possible criminal threats. The incident has raised concerns about potential vulnerabilities in border security and heightened the ongoing political debate on the matter.

The FBI immediately began locating the migrants and investigating their backgrounds once it became aware of the existence of a human smuggling network that aided them in their journey to the US. Turkish authorities have arrested the smuggler and other members of his network at the request of the US. The FBI has obtained information from the smuggler to assist in its investigation. There is currently no evidence connecting the individuals facilitated by the network to terrorist organizations or plotting a terrorist attack in the US. However, more than 15 of the migrants remain under scrutiny by the FBI as possible criminal threats.

This incident highlights the intersection of two crises created by and now facing the Biden government: terrorism and border security.

New York CEOs Demand Taxpayer Cash for Migrants They Lured to City.

More than 120 top business leaders in New York City, including Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase, Larry Fink of BlackRock, and Jane Fraser of Citigroup, have sent a letter to President Biden and congressional leaders urging Washington to provide taxpayer-funded, federal assistance to address the migrant crisis. This, despite the fact that the migrant crisis was caused by corporate demands for cheap migrant labor, and the facilitation of the policy by the corporate-sponsored politicians in New York, and across the nation.

The city claims to be facing a strain on resources as more than 100,000 asylum seekers arrive from the southern U.S. border. Recent communications from the Biden government suggests these calls for assistance may not be heeded.

New arrivals to Manhattan are sleeping outdoors, despite the opening of 200 emergency sites, leaving long lines near JPMorgan’s swanky offices. Top executives in New York are supporting Governor Hochul’s and Mayor Adams’s requests for federal funding for educational, housing, security, and healthcare services for migrants. They also want faster processing of asylum applications and work permits. However, Alejandro Mayorkas, the Homeland Security secretary, has questioned New York’s handling of the crisis and has offered federal sites to house migrants. New York officials, including representatives of Hochul and Adams, have pushed back against this response.

‘Kill the Boer’ Gang Break Into White Farmer’s Home, Stab Wife With Spear.

A four-strong gang in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, broke into the home of a white farmer chanting “kill the Boer, kill the farmer” and violently assaulted him and his wife, stabbing the latter with a spear.

Tim and Amanda Platt were beaten with “pipes, crowbars, and other instruments” by the gang, said Jacques Broodryk, a spokesman for the AfriForum group which supports South Africa’s Dutch-descended Boer (Afrikaner) minority.

Amanda was reportedly “beaten with a bolt cutter and lead pipes, and eventually stabbed with a spear.” Incredibly, she managed to escape the fracas while her husband was still fighting with their attackers, and returned armed to save him as they fled.

Julius Malema, the Marxist-Leninist lawmaker who leads the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party in South Africa, recently led a packed stadium in chants of “shoot to kill, kill the Boer, the farmer” – an incident that gained international attention after South Africa-born Elon Musk highlighted it as a call to “racial genocide”.

As President, Donald Trump tasked then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo with investigating “the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers” in 2018.

It is unclear whether or not Pompeo ever did so, and the expropriation of white-owned land without compensation is back on the South African government’s agenda now Joe Biden is in the White House.

STUDY: COVID Masks Leak Chemicals Linked to Organ Damage, Cancer.

Surgical masks hold and release dangerous chemicals at eight times the rate recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines, according to research conducted at the Jeonbuk National University in South Korea.

The study – re-published by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) earlier this year – found that the disposable masks, recommended by health “experts” throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, carried a number of Toxic Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs). These compounds have been linked to short-term health problems – such as headaches and nausea – as well as to more serious and deadly long-term issues, including organ damage and multiple cancers.

The researchers purchased 14 disposable and cloth masks online and tested them for TVOCs. They found that cloth masks posed “no relevant health-related concerns” for wearers, reporting the “TVOC concentration levels corresponded to a level that is harmless to the human body.”

However, surgical disposable masks, such as KF94s, contained over 14 times more TVOCs than cloth masks. The EPA recommends TVOC levels to be no higher than 0.5 parts per million in indoor air, yet the disposable masks were measuring up to 4.8 parts per million.

“It is clear that particular attention must be paid to the VOCs associated with the use of KF94 masks [and] their effects on human health,” the researchers concluded.
