Ukrainian Bombed Its Own Civilians, Blamed Russia, and the Media Blindly Followed.

A missile strike on the city of Kostiantynivka in eastern Ukraine on September 6 killed at least 15 civilians and injured over 30 others. The missile struck a market, causing extensive damage to windows and walls. President Volodymyr Zelensky quickly blamed Russian “terrorists” for the attack, but evidence collected and analyzed by the New York Times suggests that the strike was actually caused by an errant Ukrainian air defense missile fired by a Buk launch system. The missile appears to have veered off course, with Ukrainian authorities now claiming they are investigating the incident.

Witness accounts and evidence, including missile fragments, satellite imagery, and social media posts, indicate the missile that hit the market in Kostiantynivka came from Ukrainian-held territory, not from behind Russian lines. Security camera footage shows four pedestrians turning their heads towards the incoming missile, facing the camera and the direction of Ukrainian-held territory. The missile’s reflection is also visible as it passes over two parked cars, confirming its northwestern trajectory. The timing of two surface-to-air missile launches from the town of Druzhkivka, just minutes before the strike, coincides with the timeframe for the missile that hit the market. The launches were witnessed by residents and recorded by a member of the New York Times team.

At the time, global media outlets include the Times itself blindly reiterated Zelensky’s false claims.

Trump Admin to Subpoena Harvard for Data on Foreign Agitators.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Trump administration announced plans to issue subpoenas to Harvard University for information about alleged misconduct involving foreign students.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Education, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and Harvard University.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The announcement was made on Wednesday, July 9, with actions targeting Harvard University.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We tried to do things the easy way with Harvard. Now, through their refusal to cooperate, we have to do things the hard way,” said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

🎯IMPACT: The move could lead to Harvard losing its accreditation, affecting student eligibility for federal financial aid.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced on Wednesday that it intends to issue subpoenas for information Harvard University may have on any misconduct, anti-Semitism, or illegal activities connected to foreign students. The move marks the latest escalation in an ongoing dispute between the Trump White House and Harvard that has already seen the Ivy League institution potentially lose billions in federal funding.

In addition to the subpoenas announced by DHS, the Departments of Education and Health and Human Services (HHS) revealed they have notified Harvard’s accreditor that the university violated federal law by failing to address reported harassment of Jewish students. Consequently, Harvard could lose its accreditation, potentially making its students ineligible for federal financial assistance.

Notably, the administrative subpoenas from DHS are in response to Harvard refusing to provide requested information regarding its Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) certification. “We tried to do things the easy way with Harvard. Now, through their refusal to cooperate, we have to do things the hard way,” said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin in a statement.

The National Pulse reported in late May that President Trump had drawn a firm line on Harvard’s refusal to hand over the names of its foreign students to his administration. “Harvard wants to fight. They want to show how smart they are, and they’re getting their ass kicked,” Trump said at the time.

Already, the Trump administration has frozen $3 billion in federal funding, moved to strip Harvard of its SEVP certification, and blocked new foreign visa appointments.

Trump Admin Sues California for Keeping Males in Female Sports.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Trump administration has filed a lawsuit against the California Department of Education (CDE) and California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) over the state’s policy of allowing biological male athletes to compete against women and girls.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The Trump administration, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D), U.S. Education Secretary Linda McMahon, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and transgender athletes such as A.B. Hernandez.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The lawsuit, filed on July 9, 205, follows California’s rejection of a federal resolution agreement on Monday.

💬KEY QUOTE: The lawsuit states that, in addition to requiring women and girls to compete against males, California policy “also require[s] girls to share intimate spaces, such as locker rooms, with boys, causing a hostile educational environment that denies girls educational opportunities.”

🎯IMPACT: The lawsuit escalates the conflict over biological male athletes’ participation in women’s sports and raises questions about federal funding and Title IX compliance in California.

IN FULL

The Trump administration has filed a lawsuit against California’s Department of Education (CDE) and California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), citing the state’s continued allowance of biological male athletes to compete in women’s sports in violation of Title IX. The move comes after California rejected a federal resolution agreement on the issue on Monday.

President Donald J. Trump had previously signed an executive order in February 2025, banning transgender athletes from competing in women’s divisions and calling for biology-based definitions of “male” and “female.” Despite this, California has permitted such participation, prompting federal action.

The lawsuit follows high-profile incidents involving transgenders in female sports, including A.B. Hernandez, a biological male, winning gold in the high jump and triple jump at the California Interscholastic Federation state finals in May. Hernandez also dominated a triple jump competition in March, sparking protests from parents.

Notably, the lawsuit cites safety issues as well as sporting fairness, noting that California policy “also require[s] girls to share intimate spaces, such as locker rooms, with boys, causing a hostile educational environment that denies girls educational opportunities.”

After California rejected a federal resolution agreement on Monday, U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon announced the matter had been referred to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for legal action. She warned in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that “California will be hearing from Attorney General Pam Bondi.”

In late June, the U.S. Department of Education found that the State of California had violated Title IX with its policies allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports. Despite the federal finding, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) has signalled his state will continue to resist the Trump administration’s directive. Notably, Newsom himself admitted earlier this year that allowing biological males to compete against women was “unfair.”

BREAKING: Biden Doc Walks Out of Cognitive Decline Hearing Without Testifying.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Former President Joe Biden’s physician, Kevin O’Connor, briefly appeared before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, announcing he intended to plead the Fifth to its inquiry, as well as claiming doctor-patient confidentiality prevented him from answering any questions about the elderly Democrat’s health in detail.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Kevin O’Connor, Joe Biden, President Donald J. Trump, House Oversight Committee, and Chairman James Comer.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The testimony was scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2025, following a subpoena issued in June.

💬KEY QUOTE: “No comments to press,” Dr. O’Connor’s lawyers said as they hastily escorted the client from the Oversight Committee hearing room.

🎯IMPACT: House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has warned that former Biden White House officials who refuse to comply with his committee’s subpoenas will face contempt of Congress.

IN FULL

Dr. Kevin O’Connor, former President Joe Biden’s physician, briefly appeared before the House Oversight Committee regarding Biden’s physical and cognitive health during his presidency. The Biden White House doctor cited doctor-patient confidentiality and is believed to have pleaded the Fifth in telling the committee in person that he would not be giving testimony.

The National Pulse reported earlier on Wednesday that a last-minute attempt by O’Connor’s attorneys to delay his testimony was rejected by Chairman Comer, who insisted Biden’s doctor comply with his subpoena. Notably, President Donald J. Trump waived executive privilege for O’Connor, citing the “unique and extraordinary nature” of the investigation—meaning the doctor’s official role in the former Biden White House could not be used to shield him from Congressional scrutiny.

Hastily leaving the hearing room on Capitol Hill, Dr. O’Connor was silent when pushed for further details by reporters gathered outside the Oversight Committee. “No comments to press,” O’Connor’s attorneys said as they rushed past.

Ukraine Arrests Chinese Nationals for Trying to Steal Missile Tech.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Ukraine has arrested a Chinese father and son accused of trying to smuggle classified missile technology out of the country.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Ukraine’s SBU security service, two Chinese nationals, and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

📍WHEN & WHERE: Kiev, Ukraine, July 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The SBU detained two citizens of the People’s Republic of China in Kyiv who were attempting to illegally export secret documentation on the Ukrainian RK-360MC Neptune missile system to China.” – SBU statement

🎯IMPACT: The case deepens tensions between Ukraine and China, already strained over accusations that Beijing supports Russia’s war effort and allows the Russian military to recruit Chinese nationals.

IN FULL

Ukraine’s SBU security service announced Wednesday that it had apprehended a Chinese father and his son for allegedly attempting to smuggle classified missile documentation out of Ukraine. The pair was captured in Kiev while reportedly trying to send information about the Ukrainian RK-360MC Neptune missile system back to China.

According to the SBU, the son was a 24-year-old former technical university student in Kiev. His father, who resides in China, had traveled to Ukraine to oversee the espionage operation personally. The two now face up to 15 years in prison if convicted of espionage-related charges.

Ukraine used the RK-360MC Neptune missile system to destroy the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s flagship, the Moskva, early in the war. The more than three-year conflict has increasingly pulled in geopolitical actors, including China, which Kiev and its Western allies accuse of enabling Russia’s military through trade and technology transfers.

Ukraine has previously claimed that dozens of Chinese nationals have joined Russia’s military ranks. In April, Ukrainian forces reportedly detained two such recruits and said they had intelligence on many more. China rejected the claims as “groundless and irresponsible.”

China and Russia declared a “no limits” partnership just prior to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Since then, they have increased cooperation across political, military, and economic sectors, further escalating concerns among Western nations about Beijing’s role in global conflicts.

Russia has also strengthened its relations with North Korea, with around 10,000 troops from the East Asian country helping to beat back a Ukrainian counter-invasion of Russia’s Kursk region, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claiming up to 30,000 more North Koreans are on their way to assist Russian summer offensives.

Biden’s Doctor Is Slated to Testify on His Cognitive Decline.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Former President Joe Biden’s physician, Kevin O’Connor, is slated to testify before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday after being subpoenaed by Chairman James Comer (R-KY). O’Connor, who will face questions over the octogenarian Democrat’s cognitive decline, requested his appearance be delayed in a letter sent to Chairman Comer over the weekend, but the committee rejected his request.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Kevin O’Connor, Joe Biden, President Donald J. Trump, House Oversight Committee, and Chairman James Comer.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The testimony is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2025, following a subpoena issued in June.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Joe Biden’s top enablers can no longer hide behind the power of the presidency. Americans are fed up with the lies about Biden’s obvious decline.” – James Comer

🎯IMPACT: The testimony could shed light on Biden’s health and decision-making during his presidency, with implications for policies enacted during his term.

IN FULL

Dr. Kevin O’Connor, former President Joe Biden’s physician, is set to testify before the House Oversight Committee regarding Biden’s physical and cognitive health during his presidency. The testimony comes after President Donald J. Trump waived executive privilege for O’Connor, citing the “unique and extraordinary nature” of the investigation.

The House Oversight Committee subpoenaed O’Connor in June as part of its inquiry into allegations of a “cover-up” of Biden’s cognitive decline. Concerns about Biden’s mental fitness grew after a disastrous debate performance last year, coupled with post-presidency reports of his prostate cancer diagnosis. Many believe there was a broader cover-up of Biden’s mental and physical frailty before he left office, with a core group of White House staff acting on his behalf without his knowledge.

Over the weekend, O’Connor and his attorneys requested that the House Oversight Committee delay his testimony to a later date in July. According to O’Connor, the delay was to give more time to finalize an agreement with the committee “that will protect the very substantial privilege and confidentiality interests of Dr. O’Connor and former President Biden.” However, Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) rejected the request.

“If Biden’s inner circle fails to comply with our subpoenas, we will initiate contempt of Congress,” Comer wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter). The Oversight chairman’s warning appeared directed not only at O’Connor but also top Biden White House staff such as Anthony Bernal—a senior aide to former First Lady Jill Biden. Bernal abruptly withdrew from his testimony, slated for late June, after President Trump waived his ability to invoke executive privilege.

As of publication, it is unclear whether Dr. O’Connor intends to abide by the subpoena and testify as scheduled.

Comey, Brennan, Under DOJ Investigation for Role in Russiagate Hoax.

Former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey are targets of a federal criminal investigation regarding their roles in the “Russia Collusion” hoax targeting Donald Trump in 2016.

The details: According to sources within the Justice Department, the current CIA Director, John Ratcliffe, referred Brennan to the FBI for investigation after reviewing declassified internal reviews. The FBI views his and Comey’s coordination as a potential criminal “conspiracy.”

Back up: The FBI’s 2016 “Crossfire Hurricane” probe into Trump-Russia “collusion” was launched based on the Steele Dossier—unverified [and now discredited] opposition research funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

  • The dossier was later included in a January 6, 2017, Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) for then-President Obama, which led to the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Trump-Russia collusion.
  • In 2019, Special Counsel Robert Mueller concluded that there was no Trump–Russia conspiracy. In 2023, the Durham report went a step further and concluded the probe was politically motivated.

Zoom out: A 2025 CIA review found the Steele Dossier’s inclusion in the 2017 ICA was politically driven and ignored intelligence standards. It also found that Brennan pushed to include the discredited dossier, despite warnings from senior CIA officials.

Perjury? In 2023, Brennan testified to the House Judiciary Committee that he did not believe the dossier should be included in the 2017 ICA.

What the White House is saying: Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News: “Both of these disgraceful individuals turned against our Constitution and our country… The truth must come out.”

These Are Some of the Killers and Predators ICE Has Been Arresting:

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are netting killers, child molesters, and other serious criminals in immigration raids across the U.S.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: ICE agents and illegal immigrants with serious criminal convictions, including homicides and sexual offenses.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Recent arrests took place across various U.S. cities, including Boston, Buffalo, Los Angeles, and Houston.

🎯IMPACT: Dangerous migrants, including those convicted of child molestation, rape, and other violent crimes, have been removed from American communities.

IN FULL

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is continuing to detain serious criminal illegal aliens, announcing on July 8 the apprehension of rapists, child molesters, and other violent criminals as Democrats and far-left agitators escalate their pro-illegal immigrant activities.

Recent arrests include Andrew Da Silva, a Brazilian national with convictions for child molestation and sexual assault in Providence, Rhode Island, and Gerber R. Rosil-Galdamez, a Guatemalan national convicted of rape in Suffolk County, New York. Aurelio Lopez-Vasquez, a Mexican national, was arrested for prior convictions of sexual conduct against a child in Kings County, New York, while Jesus Flores, also from Mexico, was convicted of manslaughter in the Bronx.

Selbourne Larkin, a Jamaican national, is another convicted killer, with vehicular homicide and possession of a firearm by a felon among the 22 criminal arrests and 12 criminal convictions he has acquired during his time in the U.S.

Additional arrests include migrants such as Juan Humberto Perez, a Mexican national with convictions for aggravated sexual battery and indecent liberties with a child, and Glenda Iraheta from El Salvador, who has 21 criminal arrests and multiple convictions in Loudoun County, Virginia. Sergio Soadri Morales, a Mexican citizen, was arrested for indecency with a child in Bexar County, Texas, and Jonathan Omar Calderon, a Guatemalan national, has a conviction for lewd acts with a child under 14 in Los Angeles, California.

Other notable arrests include Verner Arnoldo Perez-Ixcoy, a Guatemalan national with ten criminal convictions, and Juan Manuel Parra-Reyes, a Mexican citizen convicted of sexual abuse of a child in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hai Tuan Pham, a Vietnamese national, was arrested for aggravated robbery and kidnapping with intent to commit sexual assault in Dallas County, Texas. Demir Keco, a Bosnian citizen, was arrested in Boston for firearm offenses and assault.

ICE agents continue to target violent and serious criminal individuals for arrest and deportation despite protests and riots from the left against their actions. President Donald J. Trump’s newly passed One Big Beautiful Bill Act has given ICE a massive financial boost, with Border Czar Tom Homan announcing that ICE is now looking to make 7,000 arrests daily.

Nevertheless, leftists, including some Democratic members of Congress, have become increasingly militant in their opposition to ICE’s operations, with a law enforcement officer being shot in the neck after insurrectionists lured agents into a sniper ambush outside a Texas ICE facility over the Fourth of July weekend.

RFK Jr. Is Being Sued for His Vaccine Reforms.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Healthcare groups are suing HHS and Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over sweeping changes to federal vaccine policy, including scrapping COVID-19 guidance.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and a Massachusetts woman.

📍WHEN & WHERE: U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, July 2025

💬KEY QUOTE: “This decision to unilaterally overturn the COVID recommendation based on a history of bias — it was an arbitrary, capricious decision.” – Richard H. Hughes IV

🎯IMPACT: The lawsuit challenges the legality of Kennedy’s unilateral vaccine reforms and may halt his COVID-19 guidance rollback, reigniting debates over federal authority and medical freedom.

IN FULL

Several prominent healthcare organizations have filed a lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., alleging “unlawful unilateral changes” to federal vaccine policy. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and seeks to block Kennedy’s reforms to COVID-19 immunization guidance.

The plaintiffs—the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American College of Physicians (ACP), the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), and a pregnant woman—complain that Kennedy changed COVID-19 vaccine guidance and dismissed the entire U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

“Kennedy has been on a warpath,” said Richard H. Hughes IV, a partner at Epstein Becker Green and lead counsel for the plaintiffs. “This decision to unilaterally overturn the COVID recommendation based on a history of bias—it was an arbitrary, capricious decision. They didn’t make any effort to follow any ordinary processes.” Hughes accuses the HHS of violating the Administrative Procedure Act, which mandates transparency in agency decision-making.

HHS responded, “The Secretary stands by his CDC reforms.” The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) plans to limit COVID-19 vaccines largely to those aged 65 and older and people with underlying health conditions starting and has issued a safety communication warning of the heart health risks of mRNA coronavirus vaccines, particularly for young males.

“A clean sweep is necessary to reestablish public confidence in vaccine science,” Kennedy has said of his reforms.

Macron Admits Immigration Is a ‘Burden.’

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized the need for France and the United Kingdom to address immigration collaboratively, calling it a “burden for our two countries.”

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Emmanuel Macron, President of France, and the British government.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Macron addressed the British Parliament on July 8, during the first day of his three-day state visit to the United Kingdom.

💬KEY QUOTE: “France and the UK have a shared responsibility to address irregular migration [sic] with humanity, solidarity, and firmness.” – Emmanuel Macron

🎯IMPACT: Macron’s remarks set the stage for an upcoming summit to foster cooperation and achieve tangible results on immigration challenges after years in which illegal crossings of the English Channel have steadily worsened.

IN FULL

French President Emmanuel Macron has called for a united effort between France and the United Kingdom to address immigration, admitting it is a “burden for our two countries.” Speaking to the British Parliament on Tuesday, July 8, during the first day of a three-day state visit, Macron said migrants crossing the English Channel illegally in small boats are seeking “hope for a better life,” but added: “Rules must not be flouted.”

Macron said Britain and France need to tackle illegal immigration with “humanity, solidarity, and firmness,” insisting their shared objective “is to have the best ever cooperation between our two countries in order to fix today what is a burden for us both.”

Channel crossings were declared a “major incident” by the British government as long ago as 2018. Still, they have steadily increased from hundreds to thousands to tens of thousands annually regardless, despite escalating multi-million-pound payments to the French authorities to stem the flow.

Nigel Farage, leader of Britain’s Reform Party, was among the first public figures to expose the crisis and highlight incidents in which the French and British authorities were seemingly colluding to help transport boat migrants to England rather than turning them back to France.

OpenAI Boss Ditches Democrats Over Embrace of Socialism.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says he feels politically homeless, lamenting that the Democratic Party has abandoned its support of a “culture of innovation and entrepreneurship,” embracing a radical socialist ideology pushed by figures like Zohran Mamdani instead.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Sam Altman, Zohran Mamdani, and the Democratic Party.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Altman leveled his criticism in a post on X (formerly Twitter) in July 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “So now I am politically homeless. But that’s fine; I care much, much more about being American than any political party.” — Sam Altman

🎯IMPACT: The OpenAI CEO joins a growing number of wealthy Democrat donors who are reconsidering their allegiance to the party in the face of the growing influence of radical figures like New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani and New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

IN FULL

Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, says the Democratic Party no longer fosters a “culture of innovation and entrepreneurship,” leaving him feeling “politically homeless.” In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the artificial intelligence (AI) mogul explained that he was drawn to the party in his twenties during what he described as an embrace of “techno-capitalism” under Barack Obama.

“We should encourage people to make tons of money and then also find ways to widely distribute wealth and share the compounding magic of capitalism. One doesn’t work without the other; you cannot raise the floor and not also raise the ceiling for very long,” Altman wrote in the post, seemingly in response to New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani—a self-described socialist—who recently declared that billionaires should not exist.

The OpenAI CEO lamented that Democrats, at one time, seemed “reasonably aligned” with a “culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.” However, Altman said he now believes that the party “los[t] the plot when I was 30, and [has] completely… moved somewhere else at this point.”

“So now I am politically homeless. But that’s fine; I care much, much more about being American than any political party,” Altman. The billionaire added: “I’d rather hear from candidates about how they are going to make everyone have the stuff billionaires have instead of how they are going to eliminate billionaires.”

The mayoral candidacy of Mamdani, a foreign-born follower of Shia Islam’s extreme “Twelver” sect, has sent shockwaves through the Democratic Party, with a number of its wealthier donors considering backing incumbent Mayor Eric Adams‘s independent re-election bid.
