Former First Lady Melania Trump delivered the eulogy at her mother Amalija Knavs‘s funeral on Thursday, with President Donald J. Trump also in attendance at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida.
“Her nurturing spirit had no limits, creating a legacy that will last for generations,” said the former First Lady. “She showered her grandson Barron with affection, illuminating his world with love, tender care, and unwavering devotion.”

“She embodied the best mother, wife, grandmother, mother-in-law. A true beacon of love and luxury in our lives,” Mrs. Trump said.
Noting her late mother’s beauty and “impeccable” style sense, Mrs. Trump stressed that “it’s not just her appearance that set her apart. It’s her unwavering dedication and hard work that truly made her exceptional. Like a string that holds everything together, she balanced the demands of motherhood with grace and poise.”
“She was my dear friend, an irreplaceable treasure, a gift bestowed upon me by the universe. And for that, I am entirely grateful. Rest in peace, my beloved mommy.”
President Trump had requested a postponement of his current defamation trial in New York to attend the funeral, but Judge Lewis Kaplan denied his request without rationale.
My heart breaks for Melania Trump and the entire family.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The vast majority of our products use natural or no colors, and we’ve been on a journey to reduce our use of FD&C colors across the remainder of our portfolio.” – Pedro Navio, Kraft Heinz North America President.
🎯IMPACT: The move aligns with the ‘Make America Healthy Again’ agenda spearheaded by RFK Jr. and President Donald J. Trump.

Kraft Heinz announced on Tuesday that it will remove petroleum-based artificial dyes from its U.S. products by the end of 2027. The company stated that nearly 90 percent of its U.S. product portfolio already avoids the use of synthetic FD&C (food, drug, and cosmetic) colors, but the remaining items will transition to natural alternatives over the next few years.
Pedro Navio, Kraft Heinz’s North America President, explained in a statement, “The vast majority of our products use natural or no colors, and we’ve been on a journey to reduce our use of FD&C colors across the remainder of our portfolio.” The company also plans to work with licensees of its brands to encourage them to follow suit in eliminating artificial dyes.
The announcement follows a push from Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to phase out synthetic food dyes. “For too long, some food producers have been feeding Americans petroleum-based chemicals without their knowledge or consent,” RFK Jr. complained in April, branding the dyes “poisonous compounds” that “offer no nutritional benefit and pose real, measurable dangers to our children’s health and development.”
The same month, FDA Commissioner Marty Makary indicated the agency’s intent to eliminate these dyes by 2026, initially relying on voluntary compliance from food manufacturers.
Kraft Heinz’s decision is part of a broader industry trend, with many U.S. food manufacturers reformulating products to meet consumer demand for natural ingredients. In Europe and Canada, where synthetic dyes require warning labels, natural substitutes are already widely used.
The FDA currently permits 36 food color additives, including eight synthetic dyes. However, one such dye, Red 3, is set to be banned in food by 2027 due to links with cancer in laboratory rats. Natural alternatives to synthetic dyes include pigments derived from beets, algae, and purple sweet potatoes, among other sources.

President Donald J. Trump’s deputies have reversed a short-lived U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) exemption policy for hotel, farm, and restaurant companies, according to a report from The Washington Post. Officials from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) informed agency leaders on Monday that immigration raids at agricultural businesses, hotels, and restaurants must continue, as per instructions shared during an 11 AM call with representatives from 30 field offices nationwide.
Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLoughlin said, “We continue to enforce the law … there is no safe harbor.” The restoration of the policy is seen as a victory for American workers, many of whom have been displaced by employers favoring cheaper migrant labor willing to work for lower wages. Wealthy donors, investors, and lobbyists, who had been advocating for an end to the enforcement crackdown, have been dealt a significant setback.
The American Business Immigration Coalition had lobbied heavily for the policy exemption. Rebecca Shi, the coalition’s chief executive, said the temporary pause in enforcement had led many employers to believe the administration was “open to a solution.”
Trump initially seemed open to a de facto amnesty for illegals working in specific fields, such as farming and leisure, but received substantial backlash from the America First base.
Limiting illegal immigration and cracking down on illegal alien workers appears to have encouraged companies to offer better pay and conditions and invest in productivity-enhancing technology. On June 6, for instance, JBS, a major meatpacking firm, was reported to have signed a union contract providing pay raises, sick leave, and pensions for 26,000 workers.

Doctor Salvador Plasencia has agreed to plead guilty to four counts of distribution of ketamine in relation to the death of actor Matthew Perry, best known for his starring role on the hit sitcom Friends. The plea agreement, filed in federal court late Monday, June 16, will see Plasencia face a maximum of 40 years in prison for his role in the October 28, 2023, death of Perry, who drowned in the hot tub at his Pacific Palisades home. The drowning was determined to be the result of the acute effects of ketamine use.
According to Martin Estrada, the U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, Dr. Plasencia and his co-conspirators procured an estimated “20 vials [of ketamine] for approximately $50,000 in cash.” The drugs were given to Kenneth (Kenny) Iwamasa—Perry’s live-in assistant—to deliver to the 54-year-old actor. Estrada told he court that, on another occasion, Plasencia and the ketamine dealers “took advantage of Mr. Perry,” selling him an estimated “50 vials of ketamine for approximately $11,000 in cash.”
The prosecution alleged that it was Plasencia who taught Iwamasa how to inject Perry with the ketamine, which he obtained from Dr. Mark Chavez. Estrada detailed how Chavez used bogus prescriptions, supposedly for a former patient, to acquire the ketamine that was subsequently sold to Perry. “I wonder how much this moron will pay,” Dr. Plasencia allegedly wrote to Chavez at one point, adding: “Let’s find out.”
Aside from Plasencia’s plea agreement, Dr. Chavez agreed to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine. Meanwhile, Iwamasa entered a plea of guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, causing death, last August. Notably, drug dealer Eric Fleming also pleaded guilty last August to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death. Fleming and his boss, Jasveen Sangha, are alleged to have provided additional drugs for Perry. Sangha is set to face trial this coming August.
Newly declassified documents reveal the FBI received intelligence in 2020 alleging a Chinese plot to mass-produce fake U.S. driver’s licenses to commit mail-in ballot fraud benefiting Joe Biden.
The details: The intelligence report was created in August 2020, just months before the presidential election. It detailed plans from the Chinese Communist Party to manufacture fake American driver’s licenses and ship them into the United States so Chinese citizens could fraudulently use mail-in-ballots to vote in the presidential election to help Joe Biden.

Corroboration: U.S. Customs and Border Protection reportedly intercepted roughly 20,000 fake licenses at the time.
FBI Director Kash Patel told Just the News that despite the allegations being substantiated, “they were abruptly recalled and never disclosed to the public.”

What happens next? Patel said in a post on X that he “declassified the material and turned the documents over to the [Senate Judiciary] Chairman Grassley for further review” after he requested the records.
Real talk from G: To this day, President Trump maintains that the 2020 election was stolen. With these documents, I think we’re only seeing the tip of the iceberg. IN FULL
Two migrants who were likely looking to cross the English Channel illegally have been shot dead at a makeshift migrant camp along with five others who were wounded in attacks. The migrants, both Sudanese nationals, were killed on June 14 at a migrant camp near the French city of Dunkirk amid rising tensions at the camp.
Two of those injured in the attacks are a woman and a child who is only two years old. Two migrants, a 29-year-old Iraqi and a 16-year-old Afghan, have been arrested by police in connection with the slayings.
Reform Party leader Nigel Farage commented on the violence at the makeshift camp, which hosts around 1,500 illegal immigrants. “For several consecutive days there have been shootings and hammer attacks at migrant camps in northern France. Two dead and several wounded. The gangs are getting more dangerous by the day,” Farage warned.
Many who reside in the camp are looking to cross the English Channel by boat to the United Kingdom. So far this year, over 16,700 migrants have made it across the Channel, including over 900 in a single day in 14 small boats recently.
The leftist Labour government has claimed it will tackle criminal people smuggling gangs, but the number of arrivals is up 42 percent compared to last year, and one of its first acts on regaining office in last year’s elections was terminating a scheme to offshore migrants to Rwanda.
Many migrants who make it to Britain are housed in hotels around the country, costing British taxpayers as much as $10 million per day.

🎯IMPACT: Elderly residents were forced to leave their homes, while the complex is now being prepared to accommodate asylum seekers, sparking criticism and debate among local officials and residents.
IN FULL
The German city of Bargteheide has reversed its supposed plans to demolish a senior citizens’ residential complex on Nelkenweg, instead opting to refurbish it to house asylum seekers. This decision comes after all residents were vacated under the claim that the building was uninhabitable. However, following an inspection, it was suddenly determined that only five of the units required renovation, while the rest could be used as-is.
Mayor Gabriele Hettwer defended the decision, stating, “The costs for the removal of mold and other renovation measures are manageable.” She added that the city was preparing for potential increases in migration and claimed that the use of the complex was temporary, though she declined to provide a specific timeframe. The complex will provide 104 places, far exceeding the 40 additional spaces needed, to accommodate future migrants.
The decision has drawn criticism, particularly from members of the leftist Social Democratic Party (SPD) parliamentary group, who supported the initial eviction of elderly residents on the grounds that the building was unfit for habitation.
Sven Meding, a council member for the notionally center-right Christian Democratic Union (CDU), formerly led by Angela Merkel, dismissed the SPD’s concerns as politically motivated, stating, “I sometimes wonder if it’s election campaign again. Should we accommodate the refugees in tents? The apartments on Nelkenweg are well habitable.” However, this avoids addressing the fact that German seniors were previously evicted on the basis that they were supposedly not “well habitable.”
Former residents expressed their disappointment at being forced to leave their homes. Frieda Miller said, “I feel very comfortable here and have lived here for 20 years.” Another resident, Dagmar Pardubitzki, added, “The apartment is really well designed, everything can be reached from here, and there is also a lot of nature. I would like to stay here.” Despite their wishes, the city has moved forward with its plan to house asylum seekers in the complex instead, a move consistent with similar actions reported in other German cities.
Germany has long been the number one destination for asylum seekers in Europe, and the number of immigrant arrivals is rapidly changing the country’s demographics. As many as one-third of young adults in Germany now come from migration backgrounds.

World-renowned infectious-disease epidemiologist Martin Kulldorff, who was fired from Harvard Medical School last year for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine, has been appointed to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (ACIP). Previously, the entire advisory committee’s membership had been dismissed.
Kulldorff, who cited infection-acquired immunity as the reason for declining the vaccine, lost his position at a Harvard-affiliated hospital during the early days of the COVID pandemic and was officially terminated as a faculty member in March 2024. He co-authored the Great Barrington Declaration, which advocated for sensible pandemic response measures and has garnered nearly one million signatures from scientists worldwide.
Announcing the new ACIP members, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. described his selections as a “major step towards restoring public trust in vaccines.” He stated, “They have each committed to demanding definitive safety and efficacy data before making any new vaccine recommendations. The committee will review safety and efficacy data for the current schedule as well.”
In 2021, Kulldorff posted on X (formerly Twitter) that “thinking that everyone must be vaccinated is as scientifically flawed as thinking that nobody should.” He added, “COVID vaccines are important for older high-risk people and their care-takers. Those with prior natural infection do not need it. Nor children.”
Kulldorff has been critical of Harvard’s handling of the pandemic, writing in City Journal last year that the institution had abandoned open debate and medical freedom. He wrote, “The beauty of our immune system is that those who recover from an infection are protected if and when they are re-exposed. This has been known since the Athenian Plague of 430 BC—but it is no longer known at Harvard.”

🎯IMPACT: Trump’s decision reflects a tougher stance on Iran and reinforces U.S. support for Israel.
IN FULL
President Donald J. Trump has decided not to sign a joint G7 statement urging de-escalation in the conflict between Israel and Iran. The draft statement, which affirms Israel’s right to self-defense and opposes Iran obtaining nuclear weapons, was expected to be signed at the summit in Alberta, Canada.
A White House source stated, “Under the strong leadership of President Trump, the United States is back to leading the effort to restore peace around the world. President Trump will continue to work towards ensuring Iran cannot obtain a nuclear weapon.”
The decision comes as hostilities escalate between Israel and Iran, with Israeli strikes on Iranian targets and Iranian counterstrikes. Trump told the media on Sunday, June 15, that while the U.S. is not currently involved militarily, he has not ruled out intervention. “We’re not involved in it. It’s possible we could get involved,” Trump said.
Further media reports on Sunday indicated that Trump recently vetoed an Israeli proposal to assassinate Iran’s Supreme Leader, Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, demonstrating a desire to avoid further escalation. However, Israeli officials have disputed the accuracy of these reports.
While the U.S. has not directly intervened, it has provided intelligence and assisted Israel in shooting down incoming Iranian missiles. However, many of these missiles have still breached Israel’s multi-layered missile defense systems in recent days. Trump has expressed hope that Iran will come to the negotiation table to resolve the conflict peacefully.
Iran has reportedly reached out to the United States through intermediaries and expressed a desire to reach a ceasefire agreement. However, as of June 16, the hostilities between the two countries remain ongoing, with reports of Israeli attacks on an Iranian media building in Tehran and further attempted missile strikes from Iran toward Israel.

💬 KEY QUOTE:“Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”
🎯 IMPACT: Heightens fears of regional escalation or military action as Trump’s words suggest a serious and possibly imminent development.
President Donald J. Trump issued a striking warning late Monday, blaming Iranian leaders for rejecting a deal he had previously offered to curb the country’s nuclear ambitions. The former president called the outcome a “shame” and a “waste of human life,” adding that the situation has become dire due to Iran’s refusal to comply.
“IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON,” he wrote emphatically, saying he had repeated that warning “over and over again.” He capped the post with a dramatic directive: “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”
Trump’s message was posted at 6:30 PM ET on June 16th via Truth Social, and has since sparked intense speculation across diplomatic and intelligence communities. It remains unclear whether this is a rhetorical warning aimed at causing chaos in the Iranian capital, or signals the possibility of imminent kinetic action by the U.S. or allies.

💬KEY QUOTE: “This was a political assassination,” Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph H. Thompson said on Monday.
🎯IMPACT: The revelation that Boelter visited the homes of additional targets suggests the assassin had far broader plans to kill state officials.
IN FULL
Federal officials revealed that alleged Minnesota assassin Vance Luther Boelter, accused of shooting two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses in their homes, visited the homes of two other state lawmakers on Saturday morning, but moved on as neither was present. Boelter allegedly shot and killed state Representative Melissa Hortman (D) and her husband, and critically wounded state Senator John Hoffman (D) and his wife Yvette.
In all four incidents, it is believed that Boelter approached the homes disguised as a police officer and claimed to be investigating some sort of crime when someone answered the door. The first home visited by Boelter was that of state Senator Hoffman, with both the lawmaker and his wife being critically wounded by the assassin. Next, Boelter drove to the home of another, unnamed, lawmaker, but discovered it empty.
However, in the second of the failed shooting attempts, an actual local law enforcement official now believes they encountered Boelter sitting outside the lawmaker’s residence in an SUV. The officer says they approached the vehicle and a man in a police uniform sitting inside, and assumed the individual was dispatched to provide a protective detail. However, when the officer tried to verbally address the individual, the man in the SUV continued staring straight ahead.
After the initial encounter, the law enforcement officer says they proceeded to check on the home, knocking on the front door and receiving no response. Upon confirming that the house was unoccupied, the officer realized the SUV and the man—now believed to be Boelter—had departed.
Subsequently, police would again encounter Boelter at the final home, belonging to Rep. Hortman. When police arrived, Boelter was standing at the front door of the lawmaker’s residence. Before law enforcement could respond, Boelter forced his way into the home and began opening fire, killing Hortman and her husband.
Boelter had previously been appointed to serve on a state workforce commission by Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) and by his predecessor, Gov. Mark Dayton (D-MN). On Monday, Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph H. Thompson plainly stated: “This was a political assassination.”
