Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary Says He’ll Never Invest in ‘Loser State’ NY After Trump Ruling.

Kevin O’Leary, a Canadian businessman and co-host of the U.S. television show “Shark Tank,” announced his decision to halt all future investments in New York on Monday, citing the recent judicial order against former U.S. President Donald Trump. Last week, Judge Arthur Engoron ruled that Trump must pay over $350 million and barred him from conducting business in the state for three years. The ruling relates to litigation brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, which alleged Trump artificially inflated property valuations used to secure advantageous business agreements.

In a Fox Business interview with Neil Cavuto, O’Leary referred to Trump’s actions as a “victimless crime” and expressed concerns about the Empire State’s business climate. The Canadian businessman and television host warned the ruling should make other companies apprehensive of doing business in New York.

O’Leary — a critic of New York’s regulatory framework — called New York a “loser state” and predicted companies would leave it in favor of “winner states” such as Oklahoma, North Dakota, and West Virginia.

The “Shark Tank” host previously attempted to establish a high-end data center in New York but encountered extensive regulatory and bureaucratic hurdles. He encouraged residents of New York to question why the state has been deemed unattractive for business. O’Leary added that the negative implications of the Trump ruling have extinguished any potential of his new venture being located in the state.

‘They Are Throwing Us Out’ — Leaked Police Call Proves Migrant Gangs Have Created ‘No Go Zone’ in This Town.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A leaked recording revealed local police in Torelló, Spain, admitting they are unable to control violent migrant groups and have been forced to retreat from dispatch calls.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Local police, residents of Torelló, and migrant groups, primarily described as young men from the Maghreb.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The incidents occurred in Torelló, Catalonia.

💬KEY QUOTE: “They are laughing at us. They are throwing us out. If we don’t want to get hurt, we too [must leave],” said a local police officer in the leaked recording.

🎯IMPACT: Residents have organized a rally to demand action, while local authorities have acknowledged the issue and announced plans to strengthen the police force.

IN FULL

Torelló, a town in the Spanish region of Catalonia, is facing growing unrest after a leaked police recording revealed that local officers feel unable to handle violent migrant groups in certain neighborhoods. The recording, confirmed as authentic by local authorities, features a police officer explaining how they were forced to retreat from around 25 rioters on Sant Josep Street due to being severely outnumbered. “They are laughing at us,” the officer says. “They are throwing us out. If we don’t want to get hurt, we too [must leave].”

Residents claim that the area has become a hub for fights, intimidation, and antisocial behavior. The recording has spread quickly through the community, reinforcing a growing belief that law enforcement is losing control. In response, residents are organizing a protest outside the town hall on Monday evening to demand tougher action from local leaders.

Torelló’s Security Councillor, Elisabet Viñas of the Republican Left, confirmed the audio’s legitimacy. “The Local Police are going there, they are there, and have arrested them many times. The laws are not strong enough, nor justice fast enough to get rid of these filthy people,” she said. Viñas blamed the issue primarily on young men, “mostly foreigners from the Maghreb”—Islamic North Africa—who she says are squatting in apartments and involved in burglaries and store break-ins.

Municipal sources admit the problem extends beyond Torelló. Across Catalonia, concerns over crime have intensified, with official statistics showing that foreign nationals are disproportionately involved in serious offenses. The Catalan capital of Barcelona now leads Spain in violent robberies.

The situation in Torelló is drawing comparisons to “no-go zones,” the subject of a 2017 book by The National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam, where police struggle to enforce the law against large migrant and migrant-descended populations. For instance, in Berlin, Germany, the city’s police chief has advised Jewish and LGBT residents to be cautious in neighborhoods with large Arab populations, saying there are areas where such people may not be safe.

In other Western cities, including Dearborn, Michigan, police are now using Arabic-language identifiers in migrant-heavy areas.

Another Muslim Rape Gang Has Been Sentenced in Britain.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Mohammed Zahid, the ringleader of a grooming gang in Rochdale, England, has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for using two schoolgirls as “sex slaves” between 2001 and 2006.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Mohammed Zahid, also known as “Boss Man,” and six other men, including Mushtaq Ahmed, Kasir Bashir, Mohammed Shahzad, Naheem Akram, Nisar Hussain, and Roheez Khan.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The crimes occurred in Rochdale, England, between 2001 and 2006. Sentencing took place recently at Manchester Minshull Street Court.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Both were seriously let down by those whose job it was to protect them,” Judge Jonathan Seely said of the victims during sentencing.

🎯IMPACT: There has been widespread criticism of past failings by social services and police officers, who ignored grooming gang abuses across the country for decades because the perpetrators were primarily Pakistani-background Muslims and the victims primarily working-class white girls.

IN FULL

Mohammed Zahid, 65, has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for leading a grooming gang that sexually abused at least two 13-year-old schoolgirls between 2001 and 2006 in Rochdale, England. Known as “Boss Man,” Zahid was convicted in June alongside six other men for multiple sexual offences, including rape and indecency with a child. The gang, which treated the girls as “sex slaves,” exploited their victims repeatedly in unsafe and unhygienic locations.

“Girl A” testified she may have been targeted by over 200 offenders, while “Girl B” said some abuse occurred while she lived in a children’s home. Of the seven men, Zahid, Mushtaq Ahmed, Kasir Bashir, Mohammed Shahzad, Naheem Akram, Nisar Hussain, and Roheez Khan, Bashir, sentenced in absentia to 12 years, is believed to have fled the country.

Judge Jonathan Seely described the victims as highly vulnerable with troubled backgrounds, noting, “They were highly susceptible to the advances of these men and others, and both were sexually abused by numerous other men. They were passed around for sex—abused, humiliated, degraded, and then discarded. Both were seriously let down by those whose job it was to protect them.”

Girl A said her life was “destroyed,” while Girl B said it had been “on hold for 20 years.” Both police and social services apologised for past failures to act on warnings.

This case adds to a litany of British grooming gang scandals, enabled by police and social services ignoring the cases because the perpetrators were primarily Pakistani-background Muslims and the victims mainly white working class. A report earlier this year by Baroness Louise Casey has highlighted authorities’ reluctance to act due to fears of appearing racist and their poor recording of offenders’ ethnicity—likely intended to manipulate official statistics so South Asians would not appear even more grossly overrepresented among the grooming gang offenders.

In Rotherham, a police watchdog also found “systematic organisational failure” by senior leadership.

Trump Opens Public Lands, Allocates $625 Million to Revive U.S. Coal Industry.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Trump administration announced plans to open 13.1 million acres of public land for coal mining and allocate $625 million to coal-fired power plants.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The Department of the Interior, Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Announced on September 30, 2025, during a livestreamed press conference.

💬KEY QUOTE: “It matters to the world, and it’s going to continue to matter for a long time.” – Doug Burgum

🎯IMPACT: The initiative aims to revive the coal sector after decades of decline.

IN FULL

The Trump administration has announced a major initiative to open 13.1 million acres of public land for coal mining while investing $625 million in coal-fired power plants. The plan, unveiled by the Departments of the Interior, Energy, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), is aimed at revitalizing and supporting the coal industry amid its decades-long decline.

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum emphasized the importance of the coal sector, stating during a livestreamed press conference, “It matters to the world, and it’s going to continue to matter for a long time.” The administration’s funding includes $350 million for modernizing coal plants, $175 million for rural energy projects, and $50 million for upgrading wastewater systems to extend plant lifespans.

The coal industry has faced significant challenges in recent years, with production halving between 2008 and 2023, according to the Energy Information Administration. Coal plants provided 15 percent of U.S. electricity in 2024, down sharply from 50 percent in 2000, as natural gas and other sources have gained ground.

The Trump administration has prioritized coal as part of its broader energy strategy, citing the need for reliable energy sources in an era of increasing demand driven by artificial intelligence (AI) data centers. The latest measures follow previous efforts to extend coal plant operations and ease regulatory burdens on the industry.

Illegal Aliens Caught Targeting CBP Helicopter with Laser in Portland.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Four illegal aliens were arrested for targeting a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) helicopter with a laser in Portland, Oregon.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Portland, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Protective Service, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the arrested illegals.

📍WHEN & WHERE: September 27, 2025, over Portland.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The federal government will not tolerate violence against federal officers.” – FBI Portland

🎯IMPACT: All four suspects were placed into ICE custody.

IN FULL

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Protective Service Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), has netted four illegal aliens after searching a Portland, Oregon residence linked to the targeting of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) helicopter with a blinding laser. Another aircraft in the vicinity was also targeted.

“Agents made contact with the subject, as well as three other inhabitants who were at the residence. All four suspects are in the U.S. illegally, and were placed into the custody of [U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Seattle] personnel,” the bureau announced in a statement posted to X (formerly Twitter).

“The laser that was used was acquired during the course of the investigation,” the statement continued, adding: “The federal government will not tolerate violence against federal officers, nor will we tolerate assaults on personal, commercial, or government aircraft.”

The incident underscores the growing dangers faced by law enforcement, particularly those engaged in immigration enforcement, such as ICE and CBP. The Trump administration complains that inflammatory rhetoric from leading Democrats such as Minnesota Governor and failed vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, who recently compared ICE to Adolf Hitler’s Gestapo, intensifies these dangers.

ICE facilities have been targeted in two sniper attacks in recent months, one of which saw a responding local police officer shot in the neck.

Trump Admin Halts $8BN in Green Agenda Funding Amid Govt Shutdown.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Trump administration announced the cancellation of $8 billion in climate-related projects across 16 states.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Russ Vought, head of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and the Department of Energy.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Announced Wednesday, affecting projects in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Nearly $8 billion in Green New Scam funding to fuel the Left’s climate agenda is being cancelled.” – Russ Vought

🎯IMPACT: Projects in 16 states, mostly governed by Democrats, are affected; additional reviews of New York infrastructure projects are underway.

IN FULL

The Trump administration has announced it will cancel $8 billion in green agenda projects across 16 states in light of the ongoing government shutdown due to Senate Democrats blocking the passage of a short-term funding measure. Russ Vought, head of the federal government’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB), made the announcement on social media, stating that the Department of Energy would provide further details.

The affected projects are located in states that voted for former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election. All 16 states are represented by Democratic senators, with 14 of the states governed by Democrats and two by Republicans. The states are California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington.

“Nearly $8 billion in Green New Scam funding to fuel the Left’s climate agenda is being cancelled,” Vought wrote on X (formerly Twitter). This announcement follows the administration’s recent decision to pause $18 billion worth of infrastructure projects in New York City, including the Hudson Tunnel and Second Avenue Subway, due to concerns over funding tied to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) ideology.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) stated that the New York projects are under administrative review to determine whether any unconstitutional practices are occurring. The review process has been delayed due to the ongoing government shutdown, which has resulted in furloughs for the civil rights staff responsible for these assessments.

Harvard Professor Leads Double Life as Drag Queen ‘LaWhore Vagistan.’

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Harvard University has hired a visiting professor in the Women, Gender, and Sexuality department who also performs as a drag queen named “LaWhore Vagistan.”

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Kareem Khubchandani, a Tufts University associate professor and drag performer.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Announced in July, Khubchandani will teach at Harvard University.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I chose ‘LaWhore’ because my family traces its origins to Pakistan: Lahore is an important city in Pakistan, and, well, I’m a bit of a whore.” – Kareem Khubchandani

🎯IMPACT: The courses will explore drag, race, and gender topics, requiring students to attend drag shows and participate in performance-based exercises.

IN FULL

Harvard University has hired Kareem Khubchandani as a visiting professor in its Women, Gender, and Sexuality department. Khubchandani, who performs as a drag queen under the name “LaWhore Vagistan,” will teach courses on “Queer Ethnography” and “RuPaulitics: Drag, Race, and Desire.”

According to the Harvard course catalog, the “Queer Ethnography” course will examine “gender and sexual dissidents” in various settings, including “gay neighborhoods, trans raves, sex work, lesbian parties, BDSM dungeons, AIDS activism.” The “RuPaulitics” class will focus on “contemporary and historical drag archives” and provide students with tools to analyze drag. Students will also be required to attend drag shows and participate in performance-based exercises.

Khubchandani, who is an associate professor of theatre, dance, and performance studies at Tufts University, describes himself as “an educator, scholar, and performer invested in feminist, queer, and trans everyday-aesthetics.” His personal website states that his work focuses on “uplifting the creative ways that minoritarian subjects live inside of oppressive structures.”

In addition to his academic work, Khubchandani has authored books such as Decolonize Drag and Ishtyle: Accenting Gay Indian Nightlife. He has explained the origins of his drag persona’s name, saying, “I chose ‘LaWhore’ because my family traces its origins to Pakistan: Lahore is an important city in Pakistan, and, well, I’m a bit of a whore.”

Khubchandani added: “And Vagistan because I see the subcontinent as one, big, beautiful Vag … istan. Close your eyes and visualize it: India is the uterus-vagina, Pakistan and Bangladesh are the ovaries, Afghanistan, Nepal, Burma, and Bhutan are the fallopian tubes, and Sri Lanka is a little floating labia.”

Harvard and the Trump administration have been engaged in a protracted legal battle over the latter’s decision to revoke federal funding for the Ivy League university. In early September, U.S. District Court Judge Allison Burroughs, appointed to the bench by former President Barack Obama, ordered that the Trump administration must reverse over $2.6 billion in funding cuts to Harvard University.

According to Judge Burroughs, the funding freeze was an act of retaliation against Harvard for rejecting changes the administration sought in the university’s governance and policies. Burroughs’s decision ensures that Harvard’s federal grants cannot be terminated for the time being, pending a possible appeal by the Trump administration.

Trump Acquires Major Lithium Mine Stake for U.S. Government.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The U.S. government has taken a minority stake in Lithium Americas to support the development of one of the world’s largest lithium mines in northern Nevada.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The U.S. Department of Energy, Lithium Americas, General Motors, and U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The agreement was announced on October 1, focusing on the Thacker Pass project in northern Nevada.

💬KEY QUOTE: “This deal helps reduce our dependence on foreign adversaries for critical minerals by strengthening domestic supply chains and ensures better stewardship of American taxpayer dollars.” – Chris Wright

🎯IMPACT: The project aims to reduce U.S. reliance on China for lithium, with production set to grow exponentially, potentially powering 800,000 electric vehicles (EVs) annually in its first phase.

IN FULL

The U.S. Department of Energy has taken a five percent equity stake in Lithium Americas, a Vancouver-based company developing the Thacker Pass lithium project in northern Nevada. The site, considered one of the largest known lithium reserves in the United States, is central to efforts to reduce America’s reliance on China for critical minerals essential to electric vehicles, smartphones, and renewable energy technologies.

Developed as a joint venture with General Motors, the Thacker Pass project is expected to produce 40,000 metric tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate annually in its initial phase. That output would be enough to power approximately 800,000 electric vehicles per year. GM has committed over $900 million to the project, which is estimated to hold enough lithium to support batteries for one million electric vehicles (EVs) annually.

The Department of Energy also agreed to defer $182 million in debt service for the first five years of a $435 million federal loan issued to Lithium Americas. Additionally, recent amendments to a $2.3 billion loan agreement with the company have cleared the way for construction and production to move forward.

“This deal helps reduce our dependence on foreign adversaries for critical minerals by strengthening domestic supply chains and ensures better stewardship of American taxpayer dollars,” said U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright.

The announcement sent Lithium Americas’ stock soaring more than 33 percent, signaling strong investor confidence. Dan Ives, an analyst with Wedbush Securities, described the project as a “massive opportunity” for the U.S. to reduce China’s near-total dominance of the global lithium processing market.

The federal government’s backing of Thacker Pass comes amid a broader push to secure domestic sources of critical minerals. That push has accelerated under the Trump administration, which has reversed several Biden-era climate policies while focusing on energy independence and resource development.

In recent months, the Trump administration has committed to expand domestic mining, processing, and battery production capacity, including support for companies like MP Materials. It has also imposed steep tariffs on key battery components from China, including a 160 percent combined duty on graphite anode materials.

Meanwhile, a minerals deal with Ukraine finalized earlier this year grants the U.S. preferential access to new mining licenses, with revenues shared through a joint reconstruction fund.

This Harvard Study Linked Tylenol Use to Increased Autism and ADHD Risk.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A study published in August suggested that acetaminophen (paracetamol) use during pregnancy may increase the risk of autism and ADHD in children. Acetaminophen is commonly sold under the brand name Tylenol in the U.S.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai led the research.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Published on August 14, 2025, in BMC Environmental Health.

💬KEY QUOTE: “That association is strongest when acetaminophen is taken for four weeks or longer.” – Andrea Baccarelli

🎯IMPACT: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) plans to advise clinicians on cautious use of acetaminophen during pregnancy.

IN FULL

An August study brought attention to the potential risks associated with the use of acetaminophen (paracetamol) during pregnancy. The research, published in BMC Environmental Health, indicates that exposure to this common medication, usually sold under the brand name Tylenol in the U.S., might increase the likelihood of autism and ADHD in children.

The study was spearheaded by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, with contributions from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Researchers reviewed 46 studies from around the world, employing the Navigation Guide Systematic Review methodology to find evidence of a connection between acetaminophen use during pregnancy and an increased incidence of neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs).

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is preparing to issue guidance to clinicians, following discussions between Andrea Baccarelli, a senior author on the study and professor at Harvard, and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Baccarelli, who has served as an expert witness in related legal cases, stated, “Further research is needed to confirm the association and determine causality, but based on existing evidence, I believe that caution about acetaminophen use during pregnancy—especially heavy or prolonged use—is warranted.”

Kash Patel Ends FBI Collaboration with Far-Left Anti-Defamation League.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel announced that the bureau is cutting ties with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a relationship forged under indicted former FBI Director James Comey.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: FBI Director Kash Patel, former FBI Director James Comey, the Anti-Defamation League, Elon Musk, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), and the late Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA (TPUSA) organization.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The announcement follows recent backlash against the ADL for its controversial glossary of “extremist” groups, which included TPUSA.

💬KEY QUOTE: “James Comey disgraced the FBI by writing ‘love letters’ to the ADL and embedding agents with an extreme group functioning like a terrorist organization and the disgraceful operation they ran spying on Americans. That was not law enforcement, it was activism dressed up as counterterrorism, and it put Americans in danger,” said Patel.

🎯IMPACT: The FBI’s decision marks a significant shift in policy, distancing itself from the ADL amid widespread criticism of its bias against conservatives.

IN FULL

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel has announced that the bureau will sever ties with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a relationship established under former FBI Director James Comey. Patel criticized Comey’s tenure, stating, “James Comey disgraced the FBI by writing ‘love letters’ to the ADL and embedding agents with an extreme group functioning like a terrorist organization and the disgraceful operation they ran spying on Americans.”

Comey had previously declared his “love” for the ADL during a 2017 speech at the organization’s National Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C., where he referred to a 2014 address as a “love letter to the ADL” and reaffirmed that the FBI was “still in love” with the group. He praised the ADL for its advocacy and partnership with the FBI, concluding the speech with the words, “Love, the FBI.”

The ADL has recently faced significant backlash for its controversial “Glossary of Extremism and Hate,” which included conservative organizations like Turning Point USA (TPUSA), founded and led by assassinated conservative organizer Charlie Kirk. Meanwhile, the ADL defended Antifa, recently designated as a domestic terrorist organization, insisting violence was not “the norm” for the movement.

Following criticism from figures such as Elon Musk and Republican lawmakers, the ADL removed the glossary, citing outdated entries and claiming they were victims of misrepresentation.

Elon Musk called the ADL “a hate group” in response to its classification of TPUSA, while Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) questioned the organization’s motives, stating, “Seems to me like if they don’t agree with you, they will label you a ‘hate group.’”

This Insurance Giant Could Soon Face a Federal Probe Over DEI Policies.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Insurance giant Chubb is facing calls for a federal investigation into its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and other practices over alleged violations of anti-discrimination laws and a Trump Executive Order.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Chubb, Consumers’ Research, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The campaign was launched on Wednesday, with Chubb being a globally operating American-Swiss insurance conglomerate listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Chubb’s practices run counter not only to the colorblind policies of this administration, but very likely, to the Civil Rights Act and other federal anti-discrimination laws as well.” – Consumers’ Research Executive Director Will Hild

🎯IMPACT: Consumers’ Research has launched a nationwide campaign, including ads, billboards, and a website, to draw attention to Chubb’s policies and urge federal action.

IN FULL

American-Swiss insurance conglomerate Chubb could soon be subject to federal scrutiny over its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and other practices. Consumers’ Research, a consumer protection watchdog group, is petitioning the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Treasury Department to launch a probe into the insurance giant, alleging that Chubb’s policies may violate President Donald J. Trump’s Executive Order prohibiting DEI programs and federal anti-discrimination laws.

Chubb, the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company, is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and part of Lloyds of London. Consumers’ Research, a nonprofit watchdog group, launched its campaign on Wednesday, labeling Chubb the “wokest insurance company” and urging the DOJ to investigate.

In a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Consumers’ Research Executive Director Will Hild stated, “Chubb’s practices run counter not only to the colorblind policies of this administration, but very likely, to the Civil Rights Act and other federal anti-discrimination laws as well.” Hild also criticized Chubb’s DEI-driven philanthropic initiatives, such as the Chubb Rule of Law Fund and the Chubb Charitable Foundation.

Trump’s Executive Order—effectively barring the federal government from doing business with any companies that implement diversity quotas, affirmative action mandates, and other DEI-style policies—has resulted in numerous major U.S. corporations scrapping discriminatory programs. After Trump signed the order in January, Deloitte—a member of The Big Four accounting firms—notified its employees through a firm-wide e-mail that it would be ending its DEI initiatives.

Notably, The National Pulse reported in September that the House Oversight Committee is broadening its investigation into potential discrimination by insurance companies and financial institutions against individuals and entities with right-leaning political views. The probe also examines whether retirees’ pension accounts are being used to fund progressive policies without their consent.
