Progressive activists and open border advocates are using the death of several immigrants in the Baltimore Key Bridge collapse to push for increasedimmigration numbers in the United States. The deadly accident has claimed the lives of at least six immigrant workers.
Several non-profit groups that provide aid to illegalimmigrants and push for increased immigrant numbers in the U.S. have seized on the deaths to push their open-borders agenda. “American workers got to sleep in their beds and not get hit by a cargo ship because immigrant workers went to work to fill potholes,” wrote David Bier in a post on X (formerly Twitter). Bier, who works for the pro-open borders Cato Institute, added: “Can’t wait for immigrants to rebuild this bridge bigger and better than ever.”

Other non-profit organizations like Global Refuge and United We Dream — which aid massimmigration through charitable programs — stressed the need for immigrant labor to help rebuild the collapsed bridge. “We know we can and we will rebuild,” Krish O’Mara Vignarajah, CEO of Global Refuge, said in a statement. He continued: “And we also know the contributions of our immigrant brothers and sisters will continue to be essential in that effort.”
Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, called the use of the immigrant worker deaths to promote mass immigration policies “kind of creepy.” He added: “Most of the people who do this are Americans. In this case, for any number of reasons, these guys were immigrants … There’s just no [immigration] policy implications to draw from this [tragedy].”
Responding to Bier’s posts on X, Oren Cass, who runs the pro-worker American Compass think tank, said: “It’s important to understand that for many libertarians, their open borders advocacy leading to a Qatar-like caste system in America is a feature, not a bug.”

💬KEY QUOTE: “Make no mistake about it, if people like Jimmy Savile were alive today, he would be perpetrating his crimes online, and Nigel Farage is saying that he is on their side, not the side of children.” – Peter Kyle
🎯IMPACT: The reports reveal the desperation of the Labour government, which is becoming increasingly unpopular, to smear Farage—whose party is eight points ahead of Labour—and defend its censorship apparatus.
IN FULL
The office of the Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, reportedly approved comments made by Science Secretary Peter Kyle linking Reform Party leader Nigel Farage to child predators over Farage’s opposition to the Online Safety Act. Multiple government sources report that Kyle consulted No. 10 Downing Street, the Prime Minister’s official residence, before an appearance on Sky News on July 29, where he sparked controversy by claiming Mr Farage was “on the side” of pedophiles and extreme pornographers.
“Make no mistake about it, if people like Jimmy Savile were alive today, he would be perpetrating his crimes online, and Nigel Farage is saying that he is on their side, not the side of children,” Kyle said in reference to Farage’s pledge to repeal the Online Safety Act, which contains some child protection provisions but has a broader purpose as a tool of mass censorship, already being used to suppress even content showing parliamentary debates on Muslim grooming gangs.
X (formerly Twitter) users in Britain have seen their posts censored for including footage of anti-mass migration protests—content that has nothing to do with the exploitation of children.
Jimmy Savile, a former BBC radio and television personality, was one of the United Kingdom’s most prolific and notorious pedophiles, with it being widely accepted that his abuse was an open secret ignored by the national broadcaster, National Health Service (NHS) hospitals where he abused patients under the guise of performing charity work, and other establishment institutions.
Attempting to link Farage to Savile could backfire on Prime Minister Starmer, however, as he was Director of Public Prosecutions when the Crown Prosecution Service decided not to charge him.
On Wednesday, Starmer’s Transport Secretary, Heidi Alexander, echoed Kyle’s smears in another Sky News interview, saying, “Nigel Farage is, in effect, saying that he is [on pedophiles’] side, because he’s saying he’s wanting to repeal the Online Safety Act. In effect, what Nigel Farage is saying is that he’s totally happy for there to be a free-for-all on the Internet.”
“That’s not the position of the Labour Government. It’s not the position of me. It’s not the position of Keir Starmer or Peter Kyle, and that is the point that the Technology Secretary was rightly making yesterday,” she stressed.
Farage has called for an apology, branding the remarks “disgusting” and accusing Mr Kyle of becoming the “Minister for Political Slander.”
Notably, Reform is currently polling eight points ahead of Labour and has launched a summer campaign on crime that challenges Starmer’s record on law and order.
Labour is clearly rattled by its collapse in support alongside Reform’s rise, and has begun targeting Farage personally, with campaign materials featuring messages such as “Don’t gamble on Farage.”
❓WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. District Court Judge Henry Wingate, appointed by Ronald Reagan, issued a temporary restraining order blocking Mississippi’s anti-DEI law last week. 📍WHEN & WHERE: The initial restraining order was issued on July 20, 2025, with a corrected order issued just days later.
💬KEY QUOTE: “Our attorneys have never seen anything like this.” — Mississippi Attorney General’s office
🎯IMPACT: The error-filled ruling is raising concerns about the use of artificial intelligence tools by attorneys and judges, and calls into question the validity of Judge Wingate’s restraining order.
IN FULL
A federal judge in Mississippi, who blocked the state’s law barring diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs from public schools and universities, is facing allegations that he used artificial intelligence (AI) to write the temporary restraining order. The National Pulse reported last week that U.S. District Court Judge Henry Wingate, who is black, issued a temporary restraining order blocking Mississippi’s anti-DEI law. However, lawyers with the Mississippi Attorney General’s office have subsequently raised questions regarding the validity of the ruling, which is riddled with errors and fabricated case citations.
The Mississippi Attorney General’s office asked Judge Wingate to clarify his ruling after it was discovered that it contained quotes from state laws that do not exist, fabricated case citations for rulings that have never happened, and even listed plaintiffs not party to the lawsuit. The request for clarification resulted in Judge Wingate quietly replacing the order on the public docket with a revised version. Notably, the erroneous order is no longer available to the public.
“Our attorneys have never seen anything like this,” a spokesman for the Mississippi Attorney General’s office said. Other attorneys who reviewed the original order believe that artificial intelligence may have been used, which would explain the fabrication of case precedent and state law.
A similar situation arose in March 2024 when disgraced anti-Trump attorney Michael Cohen was exposed for having used AI to write court filings that cited fake cases and fabricated precedent-setting rulings. While Cohen faced possible legal sanctions for his actions, he was ultimately only chastised by Judge Jesse Furman, who called Cohen’s actions “embarrassing and certainly negligent.” Judge Furman explained at the time that he believed Cohen’s excuse that he did not fully understand how artificial intelligence language models function and that the fake case citations were not in “bad faith.”
Concerningly, even Judge Wingate’s corrected order appears to have significant citation errors. The order cites a 1974 ruling attributed to the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals. However, the case, Cousins v. School Board of City of Norfolk, does not appear to exist. In fact, Judge Wingate—or the artificial intelligence—seems to confuse a historic incident involving 15-year-old Louis Cousins Sr. and high school desegregation in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1959, and Cousins et al. v. The School Board of Orange County et al., which was a 2022 free speech challenge to Florida’s so-called “Don’t Say Gay” law. Where the 1974 date for the fake Cousins case comes from is unclear.

💬KEY QUOTE: “It’s clear yet again, Border Force just can’t cope with the numbers attempting to cross today. They’ve had to call on very significant resources from the lifeboat service.” — a senior maritime security source
🎯IMPACT: If these crossings are successful, the total number of illegal migrants crossing this year will surpass 25,000, presenting a significant challenge to UK authorities.
IN FULL
British Border Force vessels were reportedly overwhelmed on July 30 by the sheer number of migrant boats attempting to cross the English Channel from France. Multiple lifeboats from Dover, Ramsgate, Walmer, and Dungeness were called to assist Border Force vessels. This follows President Donald J. Trump’s warning on a trip to Scotland that Europe must “get [its] act together” on illegal immigration or be irrevocably transformed.
French border patrol vessels and lifeboats were observed escorting several migrant dinghies towards Britain—instead of towing them back—despite changeable weather conditions in the Channel over the past week, with choppy waters that have caused drowning in the past.
A senior maritime security source described the current situation as “complete chaos.” Reports indicate that approximately 1,000 migrants have made the illegal journey over the past seven days, with today marking a significant spike due to improved weather conditions overnight.
The total number of illegal crossings this year is now approaching over 25,000, despite Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer recently assuring President Trump that the British authorities were making progress against smuggling gangs.
Starmer had promised to “smash the gangs” when entering office in mid-2024, but the number of illegal entries has only increased. Many migrants end up in taxpayer-funded hotels once they arrive, which has also been a significant source of controversy in recent weeks. In Epping, protests erupted following the arrest of an illegal immigrant from Africa accused of multiple sexual assaults of children. The man had been in Britain for less than a month before his arrest.
“Europe is a much different place than it was just five years ago, 10 years ago,” President Trump said of the “horrible invasion” across the continent on Monday. “They’ve got to get their act together. If they don’t, you’re not going to have Europe anymore, as you know it.”

🎯IMPACT: The discovery has reignited scrutiny of the FBI’s handling of the Trump–Russia probe and could lead to further revelations about government malfeasance.
IN FULL
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel found “burn bags” filled with sensitive documents, including materials tied to the Trump–Russia investigation, in a secret room at FBI HQ. Such burn bags are typically used to destroy classified or highly sensitive records.
Among the findings was a classified annex to Special Counsel John Durham’s final report on Russiagate, containing underlying intelligence from the investigation. Patel is collaborating with Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and National Security Agency (NSA) Director William Hartman to declassify this annex, which is slated for transmission to Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), President pro tempore of the United States Senate and Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, for public release.
Sources disclosed that the annex includes intelligence indicating the FBI contributed to spreading the Trump–Russia collusion narrative prior to its Crossfire Hurricane probe. One source familiar with the annex remarked that the intelligence “predicted the FBI’s next move with alarming specificity,” stating, “It’s really hard to see how [former CIA Director John] Brennan, [former DNI James] Clapper, and [former FBI Director James] Comey are going to be able to explain this away.”
In a June interview with podcast host Joe Rogan, Patel described the room in the Hoover Building, saying, “Me, as Director of the FBI, the former ‘Russiagate guy,’ when I first got to the bureau, found a room that Comey and others hid from the world… full of documents and computer hard drives that no one had ever seen or heard of.”
The documents are under review in response to an investigative request from Senator Grassley, who has been seeking details about Durham’s probe, which determined the Trump-Russia investigation had been baseless and biased but was criticized by America First figures such as then-Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) for failing to push for any real consequences.

🎯IMPACT: The confirmation solidifies a key judicial appointment by President Donald J. Trump despite heavy Democrat opposition.
IN FULL
Emil Bove, a former member of President Donald J. Trump‘s legal defense team and senior Department of Justice (DOJ) official, was confirmed to the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals late Tuesday night despite two GOP Senate defections. Senators Lisa Murkowski (AK) and Susan Collins (ME) joined Senate Democrats in opposing Bove’s nomination, which was ultimately approved on a 50 to 49 vote.
“Congratulations to our dear friend Emil Bove on his confirmation to serve on the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals! This is a GREAT day for our country,” U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “I cannot thank Emil enough for his tireless work and support at [the Justice Department]. He will be missed—and he will be an outstanding judge.”
Before Trump’s return to the White House, Bove served alongside now-Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche as one of President Trump’s defense attorneys, representing the America First leader in several high-profile cases involving alleged mishandling of classified documents and election interference. Bove’s judicial nomination faced stiff opposition from Democrats, with Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) having what was widely described as a meltdown on the Senate floor just prior to the confirmation vote.
Does someone want to do a wellness check on Democrat Sen. Cory Booker?
Democrats claimed that whistleblower complaints alleging Bove instructed DOJ officials to ignore judicial orders were disqualifying. However, Bove and other DOJ officials have emphatically disputed the allegations, pointing out that there is no material evidence to support them. Additionally, Senate Democrats attacked Bove over his role in dismissing a number of January 6 riot prosecutions and the case against New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
Despite the Democrat fueled allegations, Bove received a “Well Qualified” rating from the American Bar Association (ABA). “He has a strong legal background and has served his country honorably. I believe he will be a diligent, capable, and fair jurist,” Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said, while accusing Democrats’ “vicious rhetoric” and “unfair accusations” of having broken bipartisan norms.

Dr. Vinay Prasad, a hematologist-oncologist and critic of the pharmaceutical industry, has stepped down from his position as head of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research. Prasad, who was also the FDA’s chief medical and scientific officer, served in the role for less than three months after being appointed in May 2025.
The National Pulse reported on Tuesday that Dr. Prasad has a long history of making anti-Trump comments, including claims he stabbed a voodoo doll to “curse” the America First leader. Additionally, he has opposed key Trump administration policies like the Right to Try Act—championed by the President to expand treatment options for terminally ill patients.
“Dr. Prasad did not want to be a distraction to the great work of the FDA in the Trump administration and has decided to return to California and spend more time with his family,” a spokesman for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) said. Notably, Prasad was the subject of intense scrutiny from investigative journalist Laura Loomer, who exposed a number of his anti-Trump comments and social media posts.
Joining Loomer in criticizing Prasad’s appointment was former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA), who echoed the criticisms, calling Prasad “the man destroying President Donald Trump’s legacy for helping patients.”
However, FDA Commissioner Marty Makary defended Prasad, describing him as an “impeccable scientist” and “one of the greatest scientific minds of our generation.”

🎯IMPACT: The tariffs could affect U.S.-India trade relations and India’s economic ties with Russia.
IN FULL
President Donald J. Trump announced a 25 percent tariff on India starting August 1, 2025, during a joint press conference with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the East Room of the White House. The tariff comes with an additional “penalty” in response to what Trump described as India’s unfair trade practices and its purchase of military equipment and energy from Russia. Notably, the 25 percent rate is slightly lower than the 26 percent tariff Trump had previously imposed on “Liberation Day.”
Trump explained his decision on Truth Social, stating, “Remember, while India is our friend, we have, over the years, done relatively little business with them because their Tariffs are far too high, among the highest in the World, and they have the most strenuous and obnoxious non-monetary Trade Barriers of any Country.” He continued: “Also, they have always bought a vast majority of their military equipment from Russia, and are Russia’s largest buyer of ENERGY, along with China, at a time when everyone wants Russia to STOP THE KILLING IN UKRAINE — ALL THINGS NOT GOOD! “
“INDIA WILL THEREFORE BE PAYING A TARIFF OF 25%, PLUS A PENALTY FOR THE ABOVE, STARTING ON AUGUST FIRST. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER. MAGA!” Trump concluded.
The news of the tariff on Indian goods comes as the U.S. Department of Commerce announced on Wednesday that the American economy grew at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of three percent. This figure exceeded economists’ forecast of 2.4 percent. Additionally, the Commerce Department published data on Tuesday showing the trade gap in goods narrowed to $86.0 billion, down from $96.4 billion in May—suggesting that President Donald J. Trump’s tariffs are successfully rebalancing the economy in favor of American industry.

IN FULL
The U.S. economy grew at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3% in the second quarter of 2025, according to the Commerce Department’s July 30 report. This figure exceeded economists’ forecast of 2.4%, as surveyed by Bloomberg.
The growth was largely attributed to a 30.3% drop in imports, reversing a 37.9% surge in the first quarter. The earlier spike was driven by businesses stockpiling foreign goods ahead of President Donald Trump’s tariffs, which led to a contraction in GDP during the first quarter.
Consumer spending and business investment also increased.
Establishment economists, however, project growth to slow further in the second half of the year, blaming Trump’s tariffs which fuelled the current surge and have already helped raise government revenue.
Despite this GDP performance, the Federal Reserve is expected to maintain its current interest rates, focusing instead on monitoring inflation and labor market trends. Futures markets anticipate a possible rate cut in mid-September.

💬KEY QUOTE: “They’re a great way to get a conviction, a great way to get a criminal off the street, and a great way to remove them from the country in an expeditious way.” – Jonathan Fahey, former Acting Director of ICE during the first Trump administration
🎯IMPACT: Illegal alien encounters have plummeted over 90 percent in certain months, with tens of thousands voluntarily leaving the U.S.
IN FULL
President Donald J. Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) filed charges against over 3,000 illegal immigrants in June, setting a new monthly record for prosecutions against aliens unlawfully present in the United States. The ramp-up in prosecutions stems from a multi-agency effort to identify illegal immigrants who have returned to the U.S. after being previously deported, allowing the DOJ to charge the individuals with felony illegal reentry.
In addition, federal prosecutors charged another 3,200 illegal immigrants with simple illegal entry—though that total is not a record for the DOJ. Nevertheless, the simple illegal entry charge comprised over 50 percent of U.S. Border Patrol arrests in June, setting a separate record. Notably, at the peak of the border crisis under former President Joe Biden, the arrest rate never exceeded one percent.
The DOJ asserted that it is “using all available investigative and prosecutorial tools” in the effort to fight the “invasion of illegal immigration.” Trump White House officials say the move to bring criminal charges against illegal immigrants is just a component of its “whole government” approach to addressing the illegal immigration crisis.
Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Jonathan Fahey, who also served as the Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during the first Trump administration, notes that cases involving felony illegal reentry have a very high conviction rate. According to Fahey, prosecutors simply have to show that an illegal immigrant with a prior deportation subsequently reentered the country illegally.
“They’re a great way to get a conviction, a great way to get a criminal off the street, and a great way to remove them from the country in an expeditious way,” Fahey explained.
New Mexico, in particular, has seen a marked increase in felony illegal reentry cases. Filing data shows prosecutors brought 245 cases in May, with 277 filed in June. Under the former Biden government, not even 100 cases were filed in the final few months of 2024.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, U.S. Bureau of Prisons staff, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and forensic video experts.
📍WHEN & WHERE: August 2019, Metropolitan Correctional Center, Manhattan, New York; investigation conducted in July 2025.
💬KEY QUOTE: “To say that there’s no way that someone could get to that—the stair up to his room—without being seen is false.” – Jim Stafford, forensic video expert.
🎯IMPACT: The inconsistencies in the video evidence and government reports fuel ongoing skepticism about the official narrative of Epstein’s death.
IN FULL
In August 2019, convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. At the time, then-Attorney General Bill Barr stated that surveillance video confirmed no one had entered the area leading to Epstein’s cell, reinforcing the medical examiner’s ruling of suicide. However, a recent investigation into the surveillance footage, released in recent weeks, has raised new concerns about its clarity and integrity.
CBS News analyzed an 11-hour video released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that was purported to show the corridor near Epstein’s cell—with more immediately relevant footage being unavailable, supposedly due to technical issues. According to forensic video analysts consulted by the news organization, the footage fails to capture the cell block’s entrance clearly. The staircase leading up to Epstein’s cell is largely hidden from view, making it impossible to determine whether someone could have entered or exited unnoticed. Video forensics expert Jim Stafford commented, “To say that there’s no way that someone could get to that, the stairs up to his room, without being seen, is false.”
The video itself has also raised questions due to its format and creation date. Experts noted that rather than being raw footage directly from the surveillance system, as the government has claimed, the video appears to be an edited screen recording. Metadata shows that the file was created in May 2023, nearly four years after Epstein’s death, and that it was exported using Adobe Premiere Pro. Analysts also flagged a missing minute in the footage and a change in the aspect ratio, suggesting it was likely edited or reprocessed.
Further complicating the picture is a DOJ inspector general’s report, which accepted staff accounts that no one accessed Epstein’s cell without being observed. CBS News found that the footage showed multiple individuals moving through areas where correctional officers were not present, calling into question the DOJ‘s assertion. One disputed moment involved what officials claimed was a staff member carrying linens up the stairs—experts noted the image more closely resembled someone in an orange prison jumpsuit.
The FBI and DOJ continue to maintain that Epstein’s death was a suicide.
