Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey is suggesting former President Donald Trump will “corrupt” the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) if he is reelected. Speaking to the far-left MSNBC network, the now-openly partisan former federal agent said, “Trump is coming” for the two agencies.
“He knows their power,” said Comey. “And I think he has regrets that he didn’t work hard enough to corrupt them last time… He’s going to put people in positions in those organizations,” he added.
Comey said Trump will elevate people “who will want to do his will, and that should worry every American.”
He insisted “People have to participate” in the November election and “cannot sit on the sideline.”
“I don’t care how you feel about Joe Biden. You must vote for him because the consequences on the other side are too severe,” he added.
In fact, it has been the DOJ under FBI under Joe Biden that has brought multiple dubious prosecutions against the incumbent’s chief political rival, Trump. These are led by a special prosecutor, Jack Smith, with questionable familial ties to the Obamas, Democrat megadonor George Soros, and Hillary Clinton.
Comey, who infamously declined to recommend charges against Hillary Clinton over her email scandal despite finding “evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information,” was fired by Trump in 2017.
He has since been exposed as having driven forward the Russia hoax investigation despite knowing the “evidence” for it was not “sufficiently corroborate[d]” and for delaying law enforcement action against now-deceased child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
