The United States Supreme Court ruled Monday that former President Donald J. Trump cannot be prosecuted for official acts he ordered while in office. “The President therefore may not be prosecuted for exercising his core constitutional powers, and he is entitled, at a minimum, to a presumptive immunity from prosecution for all his official acts,” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote for the majority in a six to three decision.
According to the majority opinion, the Court of Appeals for the D. C. Circuit’s prior ruling that Trump is not protected by presidential immunity is vacated. Chief Justice Roberts ordered the case remanded back to the lower court for additional proceedings instructed by the ruling.

“In dividing official from unofficial conduct, courts may not inquire into the President’s motives,” Roberts wrote. He continued: “Such an inquiry would risk exposing even the most obvious instances of official conduct to judicial examination on the mere allegation of improper purpose, thereby intruding on the Article II interests that immunity seeks to protect.”
The Chief Justice added further instruction for the appeals court: “Nor may courts deem an action unofficial merely because it allegedly violates a generally applicable law.”
The ruling now places the burden on Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) special counsel Jack Smith to prove that former President Trump‘s challenge to the 2020 presidential election results was outside his official capacity as the nation’s chief executive. Further, the Supreme Court ruled that Trump’s alleged personal motivations do not determine whether he acted in an official capacity or not.

However, that order was blocked last week by U.S. District Court Judge Joseph Laplante, who certified a class action lawsuit against the policy.
Under the law prior to Trump’s executive order, anchor babies—as they are often called—are granted citizenship despite their parents having no substantial ties to the United States. Once these children reach adulthood, they can sponsor their parents and other relatives for green cards, effectively anchoring their families in the U.S. for generations. According to the Center for Immigration Studies, an estimated 225,000 to 250,000 anchor babies were born to illegal alien parents in 2023, representing about seven percent of all births in the country that year.
While the Supreme Court has never explicitly ruled that the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens must be granted birthright citizenship, the practice does benefit from long-standing precedent, meaning legal challenges against birthright citizenship could face an uphill battle. Nevertheless, many legal scholars argue that the Citizenship Clause of the 14th Amendment does not mandate birthright citizenship for these children, as they are not subject to U.S. jurisdiction under the original understanding of the amendment.

The plan, initiated in 2023, aimed to bring around 25,000 Afghans to Britain, as a result of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) accidentally leaking the details of people who had applied for relocation the previous year. Notably, many of these Afghans were unvetted, or had their applications rejected—but the government decided they should be imported anyway, due to the leak potentially putting them in danger. Among those relocated were migrants with criminal backgrounds, raising serious security concerns.
“The Afghan scandal has broken. Extraordinary that a British government put a superinjunction on all the British media that lasted over two years to cover up a story of incompetence, dishonest, and a threat to our own national security,” Farage said in a video statement published on X.
“An email missent published the names of 100,000 people in Afghanistan… Many of them had helped us during that 20-year war there; others were known to us for, frankly, just being bad people… Amongst the number that have come are convicted sex offenders—I am not, I promise you, making any of this up—and the total cost of the operation’s been a staggering £7 billion,” he continued.
“Of those that came, none of them were included in the immigration figures. There has been a total veil of secrecy put upon this by the last Conservative government, and, frankly, carried on until now by the current Labour government. The numbers are off the charts, the cost is beyond comprehension, and the threat to women walking the streets of this country, frankly, is incalculable,” he added.
Notably, Afghans have the highest sex offending rate per capita of any nationality in the United Kingdom, being over 22 times more likely to be convicted than British nationals.
The British government has long sought to keep the public in the dark about Afghan relocations, refusing, for instance, to disclose how many Afghans evacuated to Britain in the immediate aftermath of the Taliban takeover in Kabul were on watchlists, on the grounds that it might cause discrimination.

Jonathan Anthony Caravello, a professor at California State University Channel Islands, was arrested by federal agents during a raid at Glass House Farms in Ventura County, California. The raid led to the arrest of more than 350 illegal aliens, with allegations of forced labor, exploitation, and trafficking violations involving 14 children.
According to U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli, Caravello was charged with a violation of 18 USC 111 for assaulting, resisting, or impeding a federal officer. A number of far-left activists attempted to claim that federal agents had “kidnapped” Caravello; however, Essayli revealed that the professor was arrested for throwing a tear gas canister at law enforcement.
“Professor Jonathan Caravello was not ‘kidnapped’ by federal agents. He was arrested for throwing a tear gas canister at law enforcement,” Essayli said. Caravello appeared in court on Monday and was released on a $15,000 bond.
The California Faculty Association (CFA) labor union defended Caravello, stating, “Jonathan is a deeply committed educator and mentor who showed up for their students and immigrant communities—and for that, they were targeted.”
Bodycam footage reportedly showed Caravello throwing a tear gas canister at agents and resisting arrest. He later returned to the scene in different clothes and was identified as the alleged canister thrower. The affidavit also accuses him of using a megaphone with siren sounds to disrupt the ICE operation.
The raid, which is believed to be the second-largest single-state U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) worksite operation in history, saw violent clashes between ICE agents and approximately 500 protesters. Some protesters waved Mexican flags, and one individual allegedly fired a handgun toward agents. Federal law enforcement used tear gas to disperse the crowd.
Immigration authorities are now analyzing the criminal histories of the 319 detained illegal aliens, while the rescued children, primarily from Mexico and Honduras, are in care.

Thousands of Afghans have been relocated to the United Kingdom under a secret government scheme following a significant data breach in February 2022, which exposed the personal details of Afghans who applied to travel to Britain. The breach occurred when a Ministry of Defence (MOD) official mistakenly e-mailed a spreadsheet containing sensitive information “outside of authorised government systems,” according to Defence Secretary John Healey.
The leaked information included names, contact details, and family information of Afghans who applied for the Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP) scheme, intended to help those at risk from the Taliban after the group’s takeover of Afghanistan in August 2021. The government had the courts impose a so-called superinjunction, or “gagging order,” to prevent the press from reporting the breach or the scheme to relocate Afghans impacted by it to Britain. The order was only lifted on Tuesday by High Court Judge Mr Justice Chamberlain.
The secret relocation scheme, called the Afghan Relocation Route, has so far cost £400m and is projected to cost an additional £400m to £450m (~$536m to $603m), raising the total cost of Afghan relocations to an estimated £7 billion (~$9.4 billion) over five years. It has facilitated the relocation of 4,500 Afghans to Britain so far. Of another 17,000 Afghans impacted by the breach, 14,000 have been brought to the country or are in transit under a separate scheme.
Some reports indicate the relocated Afghans will be eligible to import their relatives through “family reunification” chain migration, swelling the influx to 100,000-150,000.
Defence Secretary Healey offered a “sincere apology” for the data breach and described it as a “serious departmental error.” Notably, many of the Afghans brought to Britain under the scheme are poorly vetted or previously had their applications rejected, with the leak of their information being the only reason they are considered eligible for relocation.
In his ruling, Mr Justice Chamberlain expressed concern over the superinjunction that covered up the fiasco, stating that it created a “scrutiny vacuum” and undermined democratic accountability. He added, “The superinjunction had the effect of completely shutting down the ordinary mechanisms of accountability which operate in a democracy.” The government, under both the incumbent Labour Party and the previously governing Conservatives (Tories), had fought a two-year legal battle to try to keep the press gag in place.
The MOD has declined to confirm whether anyone has been fired or otherwise sanctioned over the scandal, with the Metropolitan Police confirming it will not ask prosecutors to bring any charges.

The creep tried to snatch a young child but tripped and took off running. He was later found by police.
Incompetent: After a court-ordered evaluation, Galligan was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and found mentally incompetent to stand trial.
Galligan will instead be sent to a mental health treatment facility.
Back up: Galligan was previously placed on the sex offender registry after being convicted of non-consensual sexual contact. He’s been in and out of jail for 12 years.
Did I mention he’s trans too? Galligan began hormone treatments in 2011 and publicly identified as transgender.
Backlash: DA Amy Padden, a Democrat, has faced fierce backlash for her decision to let Galligan skirt jail time.
Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky, a Republican, is leading a recall effort, saying her “progressive attitude will not be tolerated.”
The last word goes to Solomon’s own niece, who told reporters: “This has been like the fourth time… How the hell did he get released?”
A left-wing Colorado District Attorney (DA) plans to drop charges against a transgender sex offender accused of trying to abduct a child from an elementary school.

Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of President Donald J. Trump and former Republican National Committee (RNC) co-chairwoman, said Monday that more information related to deceased pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal activities will be released, offering reassurance to those who believe the Trump administration is not revealing the full story.
Lara Trump told podcaster Benny Johnson that President Trump is aware of the frustrations voiced by many of his supporters and Americans generally, acknowledging, “There needs to be more transparency. I think that will happen. I know this is important to the President. He is frustrated.”
“He is going to want to set things right. I believe there will be more coming, and anything they are able to release, they will try to get out. They hear it and understand it,” she continued.
“To anyone worked up out there, there is no plot to keep this information away. I’m sure we will know down the line,” she added.
The comments come amid backlash against Attorney General Pam Bondi, responsible for the Department of Justice (DOJ), which recently released dubious video footage from the jail where Epstein is supposed to have committed suicide and a memo claiming no “client list” for him exists. This is despite the fact that Bondi had claimed a client list was “on [her] desk” just a few short months ago.
America First stalwarts such as WarRoom host Stephen K. Bannon believe President Trump should appoint a special prosecutor to handle the Epstein case, with the DOJ and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) having lost the public’s trust.
