Anti-Trump former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley has had his portrait taken down at the Pentagon, just ten days after its official unveiling. General Milley, 66, previously described freshly-inaugurated President Donald J. Trump as “fascist to the core.” The America First leader, in turn, has described Milley as a “woke train wreck” whose calls to the Chinese military towards the end of the first Trump administration, promising to warn them in advance of an American attack, were “treason.”
Besides his affinity with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Milley is probably best known for his embrace of Critical Race Theory (CRT) and other far-left concepts, once telling Congress, “I want to understand white rage,” implying this was responsible for the January 6, 2021 protests at the U.S. Capitol.
Before being supplanted by President Trump, former President Joe Biden issued Milley with a last-minute, preemptive pardon.
Update: this Milley portrait is no longer up in the Pentagon hallway, just 10 days after it was unveiled… h/t @OrenCNN https://t.co/ji77T3Np6l pic.twitter.com/DdUeEEZ9zR
