A report has revealed that Americans reached their most miserable under the former Biden-Harris regime, largely due to mass migration, high levels of crime, and the cost-of-living crisis. The World Happiness Report 2025, published by the University of Oxford in collaboration with Gallup and the United Nations (UN), shows there was a significant decline in happiness levels in the United States.
The U.S. ranked 24th globally, the lowest position recorded since the report’s inception. The report surveyed over 100,000 respondents across 140 countries, placing Finland at the top of the happiness rankings, followed closely by Denmark, Iceland, and Sweden. Afghanistan ranks as the least happy nation. The United Kingdom, while experiencing a decline in happiness similar to the U.S., stood one spot higher in 23rd place.
In the U.S., rising patterns of antisocial behavior, notably dining alone, have been highlighted as contributing factors to unhappiness, with instances of eating alone increasing by 53 percent over two decades. The report also mentions an alarming rise in ‘deaths of despair’—those due to suicide, alcohol, or drug-related causes—especially prevalent in wealthy nations like the U.S. Notably, close to 70 percent of American suicides are white men—though they are account for less than 30 percent of the general population.
While the research revealed that Americans were more unhappy than ever under the Biden regime, polls taken shortly after President Donald J. Trump’s election win last November show that a majority of Americans support and seem optimistic about Trump’s agenda.
