Donald John Trump and James David Vance have officially been sworn in as the President and Vice President of the United States. The 45th and 47th President of the United States, Trump is only the second man in American history to serve two non-consecutive terms after the late President Clover Cleveland in the 19th century.

“I solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” Trump said at the Capitol Rotunda, where the inauguration had been moved due to severe weather conditions. The Capitol Rotunda was last used for the ceremony in 1985, at the start of the late President Ronald Reagan’s second term, also due to inclement weather.
