Second Illegal Immigrant Arrested for Shooting Border Agent.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem announced on Monday that the second suspect involved in the shooting of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer has been detained. The officer was attacked late Saturday night at Fort Washington Park in Manhattan by two men on a moped in what appeared to be an attempted robbery.

The incident, which occurred at approximately 11:50 PM, resulted in an exchange of gunfire. The off-duty CBP officer was shot in the face but managed to return fire, hitting one of the suspects. New York Police Department (NYPD) radio traffic indicated the officer was shot in the mouth during the altercation.

During a press conference on Monday, Noem stated, “Fortunately for us today, our officer survived. He survived. He’s going through a very difficult time, and I would ask that you respect him and his family and his friend who was with him and what they have gone through.” She added, “We were able to bring the second individual in and have detained him as well, and he will face consequences and hopefully strong prosecution for his crimes and his involvement on Saturday night.”

Authorities identified the suspect as Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, a Dominican national who re-entered the United States illegally in April 2023 and was released under the Biden government despite an active deportation order. CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott confirmed that the second suspect had also been apprehended and released at the U.S. border prior to the attack.

“There’s absolutely zero reason that someone who is scum of the earth like this should be running loose on the streets of New York City,” Noem told reporters. She criticized sanctuary city policies, particularly those under Mayor Eric Adams, elected as a Democrat, for enabling such criminals, adding: “He was arrested four different times in New York City, and because of the mayor’s policies and sanctuary city policies, was released back to do harm to people.”

White House Border Czar Tom Homan added, “Sanctuary cities are sanctuaries for criminals. President Trump is not going to tolerate it.”

Meanwhile, New York City’s Democratic Party mayoral candidate and self-described socialist Zohran Mamdani has remained silent on the shooting. Mamdani, who has previously called to defund the police and abolish prisons and opposes working with President Donald J. Trump to deport illegal immigrants, is currently in his birth country, Uganda, “in a personal capacity” to celebrate his marriage.

The “Twelver” Muslim stated he would return to New York City “by the end of the month.”

The globalist World Economic Forum (WEF) has come under scrutiny following allegations that its leader, Klaus Schwab, manipulated research data to undermine Brexit. In 2017, Britain’s ranking in the report was altered from an improvement to a decline, allegedly at Schwab’s direction. New polling data conducted by the reliable and right-leaning Democracy Institute in collaboration with the Daily Express US reveals that 71 percent of likely Republican voters feel disappointed by Donald Trump’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. The survey, which took place on July 16–17, involved 1,300 likely Republican voters and has a margin of error of ±3 percent.

Despite the significant dissatisfaction, 87 percent of respondents indicated they would still vote Republican even if Trump chooses not to release the Epstein-related documents. A small percentage, three percent, said they would vote Democrat, four percent would opt for a third-party candidate, and six percent expressed they would abstain from voting.

The survey also highlights that 67 percent of participants believe Trump’s stance on the Epstein files could potentially weaken the Republican Party. Conversely, 20 percent disagreed with this sentiment, and 13 percent said they were uncertain.

Moreover, the poll finds that 77 percent of Republican voters think Trump was wrong to criticize MAGA supporters who have voiced frustration over the non-release of the files. Seventeen percent supported Trump’s criticism, while six percent were unsure.

The poll used interactive voice response technology on landlines and cell phones. It was weighted by gender, age, education, income, region, voting history, and party identification.

In 2021, the New York Post released a trailer for a documentary about deceased child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, produced by WarRoom host and former White House Chief Strategist Stephen K. Bannon. The footage, which reportedly includes over 15 hours of interviews, has not been released, with Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, publicly calling on Bannon to release the tapes of Friday, demanding, “Let me see the videotapes. He’s my brother.” However, Bannon has already committed to releasing the footage.

“We’re gonna release the film, the five-part series, next year, early next year,” Bannon said earlier this month. “And by the way, the entire thing is how the elites and the intelligence services are inextricably linked… You’re gonna have to name names and you’re gonna have to understand how the elites in the world, but also the intelligence services, are inextricably linked in Epstein’s story,” he reiterated,” adding: “That’s the key.”

The unfinished documentary, tentatively titled The Monsters: Epstein’s Life Among the Global Elite, was intended to expose how powerful global actors and institutions supported Epstein’s actions. It has long been suspected that Epstein collected blackmail on the people he trafficked minors to, possibly on behalf of a foreign intelligence service such as the Mossad.

Notably, Mark Epstein has expressed doubts about the official explanation of his brother’s death, which was ruled a suicide in 2019. “More and more, I believe he was murdered,” he said last week, adding that anyone who examines the facts would reach the same conclusion.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) under President Donald J. Trump recently said that they believe Epstein died by suicide, releasing footage from a surveillance camera near his cell said to prove no one entered the area where he was detained around the time of his death. However, it was later determined that the “raw” footage had actually been edited, with several minutes missing from it.

Bannon has been one of the key figures in MAGA pushing for greater transparency since the DOJ attempted to effectively close the Epstein case, urging President Donald J. Trump to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate it.

President Donald J. Trump has threatened to block the Washington Commanders’ proposed new stadium unless the team reverts to its former name, the Redskins. “I may put a restriction on them that if they don’t change the name back to the original ‘Washington Redskins,’ and get rid of the ridiculous moniker, ‘Washington Commanders,’ I won’t make a deal for them to build a Stadium in Washington,” Trump wrote. “The team would be much more valuable and the deal would be more exciting for everyone.”

In April, a deal was struck to build a new 65,000-seat stadium on the site of the old RFK Stadium, which served as the team’s home from 1961 to 1997.

Trump also referenced the Cleveland Guardians in his Truth Social post, encouraging Major League Baseball’s team to return to its former name, the Cleveland Indians, which was retired in 2021. “Our great Indian people, in massive numbers, want this to happen,” he wrote. “Their heritage and prestige is systematically being taken away from them.”

Representatives Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Brandon Gill (R-TX), and Lauren Boebert (R-CO) cosponsored the bill.

“Americans are rightfully tired of seeing their tax dollars spent on wasteful experiments disguised as research while advancing a political agenda,” Mace said in a statement. “This legislation brings accountability, ends taxpayer-funded cruelty, and ensures science serves the public, not ideology.”

Anthony Belloti, president and founder of White Coat Waste Project, highlighted the group’s investigations and advocacy for exposing and opposing taxpayer-funded transgender animal experiments. He noted that grants from agencies like the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) have supported similar studies, underscoring the need for the TRANS MICE Act. “Trump’s historic cuts have already saved thousands of animals and millions of taxpayer dollars,” Belloti added.

The U.S. Interagency Fire Center defines a megafire as a wildfire that burns more than 100,000 acres. Oregon has experienced multiple such fires in recent years, with data showing six fires exceeding this size in 2024 alone. The Cram Fire could soon enter the megafire category.

President Donald J. Trump nominated Habba for the role on July 1, but the Senate Judiciary Committee has yet to conduct its standard vetting process. This delay stems from opposition by New Jersey’s two Democrat senators, Corey Booker and Andy Kim, who have not supported her nomination, resulting in the decision being thrown to the Garden State’s federal judges.

Notably, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) is publicly lobbying the mostly Democrat-appointed jurists to push out Habba, citing her prosecution of Democrat Congresswoman LaMonica McIver (D-NJ)—currently facing charges for physically accosting federal officers involved in deportations. Consequently, Mike Davis and the Article III Project have filed a House ethics complaint against Jeffries for “abuse of his official position by improperly inserting himself into a criminal proceeding pending in federal court.”
