👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Stephen K. Bannon, Google/Alphabet, and affected creators.
📍WHEN & WHERE: Bannon spoke exclusively to The National Pulse.
💬KEY QUOTE: “Google Oligarchs Go F**k Yourself—Our Mission is to Destroy You.” – Stephen K. Bannon.
🎯IMPACT: Bannon’s remarks underscore the ongoing tension between the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement and Big Tech, despite its escalating attempts to appease President Donald J. Trump and his supporters.
WarRoom host and former Trump White House Chief Strategist Stephen K. Bannon has shown little desire for reconciliation with Google and holding company Alphabet after the tech giant announced it would allow conservative creators, banned during the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2020 election for voicing skepticism about the narrative and policies around the virus and the legitimacy of Joe Biden’s win, to return to their platforms.
In an exclusive interview with The National Pulse, Bannon did not hold back, stating, “Google Oligarchs Go Fuck Yourself—Our Mission is to Destroy You.”
The WarRoom host is one of many America First and conservative leaders removed from YouTube for political speech, alongside Dan Bongino, now the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Deputy Director, and Sebastian ‘Seb’ Gorka, now the Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States.
“Reflecting the Company’s commitment to free expression, YouTube will provide an opportunity for all creators to rejoin the platform if the company terminated their channels for repeated violations of COVID-19 and elections integrity policies that are no longer in effect,” Google wrote to the House Judiciary Committee, which had pressed the tech giant over its censorship regime.
Bannon is one of many MAGA voices who believe Big Tech, which has at least somewhat rolled back its deplatforming and partisan “fact-checks” in recent months, is merely attempting to appease the Trump administration to avoid a regulatory clampdown, with no real change of heart behind its policy shift.
Notably, Google is claiming it was pressured into acting as a censor by the Democrats when they wielded political power, saying, “Senior Biden Administration officials, including White House officials, conducted repeated and sustained outreach to Alphabet and pressed the Company regarding certain user-generated content related to the COVID-19 pandemic that did not violate its policies.”
