Vance Will Discuss 2028 Presidential Run With Trump After Midterms.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Vice President J.D. Vance said he will discuss the possibility of a 2028 presidential run with President Donald J. Trump after the 2026 midterms.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Vice President Vance, President Trump, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The comments were made on Thursday evening in a Fox News interview.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We’re going to do everything that we can to win the midterms. And then after that, I’m going to sit down with the President of the United States and talk to him about it.” – J.D. Vance

🎯IMPACT: Vance’s comments highlight his focus on the midterms.

IN FULL

Vice President J.D. Vance appeared on addressed speculation about a potential presidential run in 2028 in a Fox News interview on Thursday. Vance said he will discuss the matter with President Donald J. Trump after the 2026 midterms, but stressed that they are his immediate focus, being key to securing the President’s agenda.

“I [have] thought about what that moment might look like after the midterm elections, sure, but… I try to put it out of my head and remind myself the American people elected me to do a job right now, and my job is to do it,” Vance said, explaining: “[I]f you start getting distracted and focused on what comes next, I think it actually makes you worse at the job that you have.”

Vance, a favorite among MAGA supporters, is seen as a leading Republican contender for 2028. Early polls suggest he is competitive in a hypothetical matchup against California Governor Gavin Newsom, a likely Democratic candidate.

“I really want us to win the midterms because if the Democrats get in power, they’re going to try to screw up a lot of the great things the President of the United States has done over the past ten months,” Vance said, emphasizing that some of the proverbial “trees” the administration has planted will take a few years to “bear fruit,” reiterating, “I don’t want the Democrats to screw that up.”

Regarding a potential contest with Secretary of State Marco Rubio for the 2028 nomination, Vance was conciliatory, saying, “If Marco eventually runs for President… we can cross that bridge when we come to it, adding that “if either one of us end up running, it’s a long, long ways in the future, and neither of us is entitled to it.”

DHS Blasts California Sanctuary Law Following Fatal DUI by Illegal Immigrant.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A 71-year-old California man, Barry William Tutt, was killed in a hit-and-run involving an illegal immigrant driving under the influence.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The victim, Barry William Tutt, the suspect, Mexican illegal immigrant Humberto Munoz-Gatica, who has a criminal record, and California Democrats, including Governor Gavin Newsom.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The killing occurred last Friday in Orange County, California.

💬KEY QUOTE: “How many Americans must be killed before [Governor Gavin Newsom’s] sanctuary state of California works with federal law enforcement—instead of against them?” – Department of Homeland Security

🎯IMPACT: The case has reignited debates over sanctuary state policies and their impact on public safety.

IN FULL

Barry William Tutt, a 71-year-old man from California, was killed last Friday in a hit-and-run incident in Orange County. The suspect, Humberto Munoz-Gatica, a 57-year-old Mexican illegal immigrant, was reportedly driving under the influence when he struck Tutt and fled the scene. Witnesses helped law enforcement locate Munoz-Gatica, who now faces charges related to hit-and-run and suspicion of DUI.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a statement condemning California’s sanctuary state policies, which hinder cooperation with federal immigration enforcement. “This criminal illegal alien from Mexico, Humberto Munoz-Gatica, was released by the Obama Administration. He NEVER should have been here,” DHS posted on X (formerly Twitter), adding: “How many Americans must be killed before [Gavin Newsom’s] sanctuary state of California works with federal law enforcement—instead of against them?”

DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, Tricia McLaughlin, added that this tragedy is “yet another example of sanctuary and open border policies putting American lives at risk.” According to DHS, Munoz-Gatica entered the United States on a tourist visa that expired in 2008. He was arrested by ICE in 2011 under the former Obama government, but was later released into the country. DHS noted that he has a prior conviction for grand theft.

Democrat California Governor Gavin Newsom office responded to DHS’s criticism, with Brandon Richards, Newsom’s spokesman, claiming that “Despite the Trump Admin’s repeated false claims, California cooperates with the federal government when it comes to criminals.”

Southern Spear: Anti-Cartel Op Expanding, Trump Weighs Venezuela Strikes.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: War Secretary Pete Hegseth announced the expansion of Operation Southern Spear, targeting narco-terror networks in Latin America.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: U.S. Southern Command, Joint Task Force Southern Spear, and the U.S. Navy.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Strikes were carried out recently in the Caribbean and the Pacific; the mission spans the Western Hemisphere.

💬KEY QUOTE: “This mission defends our Homeland, removes narco-terrorists from our Hemisphere, and secures our Homeland from the drugs that are killing our people.” – Pete Hegseth

🎯IMPACT: The operation aims to dismantle drug networks and secure the U.S. from narco-terrorist threats.

IN FULL

U.S. War Secretary Pete Hegseth announced late Thursday the expansion of Operation Southern Spear. Initially launched by the U.S. Navy in January 2025 as a program to monitor illicit drug trafficking in the U.S. Southern Command Area of Responsibility (USSOUTHCOM AOR), the mission will expand with the inclusion of significant military assets now present in the Caribbean.

“Led by Joint Task Force Southern Spear and SOUTHCOM, this mission defends our Homeland, removes narco-terrorists from our Hemisphere, and secures our Homeland from the drugs that are killing our people,” Secretary Hegseth wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter). He added: “The Western Hemisphere is America’s neighborhood—and we will protect it.”

Notably, the United States has conducted a significant buildup of Navy and Air Force assets in the Caribbean, with the USS Gerald R. Ford—the world’s largest warship and aircraft carrier—entering the region, along with the deployment of F-35s to Puerto Rico and major naval deployments near Venezuela. The U.S military recently carried out its 20th strike on alleged drug-tracking boats, according to a Pentagon official. The most recent strike reportedly killed four suspected narco-terrorists.

The National Pulse has previously reported that President Trump is weighing potential options for operations in Venezuela, including possible land strikes, though no final decisions have been made. Military strikes against Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro’s regime have long been anticipated.

Recently, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized to the Maduro regime that the U.S. strikes will only stop if Venezuela stops the cartel boats from entering the Caribbean. Maduro is accused of being the clandestine head of the Soles drug cartel, which is believed to be the key drug supplier to other criminal and Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) like Tren de Aragua.

Prosecutor Tasked With Finding Fani’s Replacement in Failed Trump RICO Case Appoints Himself.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia executive director, Peter Skanadlakis, has appointed himself to replace Fani Willis as the prosecutor overseeing the RICO case against President Donald J. Trump in Fulton County, Georgia.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Peter Skanadlakis, Fani Willis, and several unnamed prosecutors.

📍WHEN & WHERE: November 14, 2025, in Georgia.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Several prosecutors were contacted and, while all were respectful and professional, each declined the appointment.” — Peter Skanadlakis

🎯IMPACT: The case continues under Skanadlakis’s leadership, with a comprehensive review promised.

IN FULL

The Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia (PACGA) announced Friday that its executive director, Peter Skanadlakis, has appointed himself to oversee the disgraced Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis‘s RICO prosecution against President Donald J. Trump. Skanadlakis’s takeover of the case comes after PACGA was tasked with finding a replacement for Willis, who was disqualified from her prosecution due to numerous ethical breaches. Notably, this is not the first time that Skanadlakis taken over one of Willis’s cases after she was disqualified.

“Several prosecutors were contacted and, while all were respectful and professional, each declined the appointment,” Skanadlakis said in an announcement on Friday, contending that the lack of interest in the case forced his own appointment. Notably, PACGA faced a November 14 deadline to name Willis’s replacement, or the case would be dismissed.

Previously, after courts removed Willis from probing Georgia Lt. Gov. Burt Jones (R), the PACGA spent 21 months before designating Skandalakis to helm the inquiry—only for him to eventually forgo any charges. Steve Sadow, lead defense counsel for Trump, expressed confidence in a dismissal, asserting that the prosecution is politically motivated. “We remain confident that a fair and impartial review will lead to a dismissal of the case against President Trump,” he stated.

Skanadlakis emphasized the public’s interest in the case and committed to a thorough review, stating, “The decision to assume responsibility for this matter was reached only after careful and deliberate consideration.”

Another Doctored BBC Clip of Trump Has Surfaced.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The BBC is under scrutiny for further manipulative editing of President Donald J. Trump’s January 6, 2021 speech at the U.S. Capitol.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Donald Trump, BBC Newsnight, and former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The broadcast aired in June 2022; it resurfaced in November 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Your video actually spliced together the presentation… That’s the type of messaging here that so many people in my country find frustrating.” – Mick Mulvaney

🎯IMPACT: The Newsnight edit is similar to a doctored Panorama edit, which has already led to a $1 billion lawsuit threat from President Trump.

IN FULL

Another doctored BBC clip of a speech by President Donald J. Trump on January 6, 2021, has resurfaced. On the de facto state broadcaster’s flagship Newsnight programme on June 9, 2022, the America First leader was shown saying, “We’re gonna walk down to the Capitol and we’re gonna cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women—and we fight. We fight like hell and if you don’t fight like hell you aren’t gonna have a country any more.” In fact, he said, “Now, it is up to Congress to confront this egregious assault on our democracy. And after this, we’re going to walk down, and I’ll be there with you, we’re going to walk down, we’re going to walk down. Anyone you want, but I think right here, we’re going to walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them.” The “fight” comments are taken from another section of his speech, around an hour later.

This echoes the scandal around a Panorama broadcast shortly before the 2024 elections that stripped essential details from Trump’s comments even more manipulatively, to make it look as though he was exhorting an assault on the Capitol. This has already prompted the resignation of the BBC’s director-general and head of news, and prompted threats of a $1 billion legal action from President.

Even Mick Mulvaney, a former Trump White House chief of staff turned Trump critic, condemned the Newsnight cut at the time while appearing as a guest on the show. “I’m no apologist for the President; I quit my job over this… [But] your video actually spliced together the presentation… That’s the type of messaging here that so many people in my country find frustrating… it’s hard to actually get the facts,” he said.

WATCH: Undercover Footage Shows How Easy It Is to Get a Late-Term Abortion.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Pro-life activists in Toronto, Canada, revealed how easy it is to procure a late-term abortion, with doctors claiming 22-week-old babies in the womb are not considered alive—despite the fact that some babies born that early have survived.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Pro-life group RightNow, Cabbagetown Women’s Clinic, and an unnamed abortionist.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The footage was released on social media by RightNow on November 12.

💬KEY QUOTE: “There are very few clinicians who would consider that life.” – Abortion doctor on premature babies born at 22 weeks in a pregnancy.

🎯IMPACT: The footage pushes back at many who claim that late-term abortions in Canada are rare or require a medical reason for being performed.

IN FULL

Pro-life activists in Toronto, Canada, have revealed how easy it is for women to procure late-term abortions, releasing undercover footage of medical professionals who have no qualms whatsoever about aborting a baby as late as eight months into a pregnancy. The footage, released by the pro-life campaign group RightNow, shows one of its activists, who was 22 weeks pregnant at the time, seeking advice on abortions at the Cabbagetown Women’s Clinic in Toronto.

The activist was told the procedure would cost the equivalent of just over $1,500 USD and that, notably, the clinic only accepted cash. An abortion counsellor named Linda informed her that at 22 weeks, she was at the borderline for an abortion at the Cabbagetown clinic, which performs abortions to 24 weeks, but noted a nearby hospital would perform abortions even later in a pregnancy. “I sent them to Women’s College Hospital, it’s a hospital that’s close by,” Linda states, adding: “They don’t have a limit. They sometimes go up to 32 weeks, I believe.”

Linda describes the late-term abortion procedure as taking up to three days, starting with an injection meant to kill the baby in the womb by stopping its heart, as this supposedly makes the abortion “safer.” Linda also claims the baby has no “consciousness,” claiming that even if there were, the injection is made to “prevent it.”

The activist then speaks to a female abortion doctor, who clarifies to her that there is no limit in Canada for an abortion, which is accurate, as there are no Canadian laws restricting abortion at all. However, there are supposed to be regulations within the healthcare industry.

“The law in Canada and the U.S. overall doesn’t have a ‘too far.’ OK, I can tell you that once things reach 35, 36 weeks, it might be impossible to find someone that would do it. OK, 24, up to 30 weeks, it’s very possible,” the abortionist states.

The doctor goes on to state that children born at 22 weeks may survive, but adds, “There are very few clinicians who would consider that life.” When the pregnant activist asks the doctor about whether she needs health reasons for herself or her baby to procure a late-term abortion, the doctor appears to suggest that this has not been necessary for “abortion care” since the 1960s.

Canadian healthcare professionals are estimated to have performed over 100,000 abortions in 2023, with over 40,000 occurring in Ontario alone.

Canada also has legalized medically assisted suicide, which saw doctors euthanize tens of thousands of people. It has become a leading cause of death in the country, with 4.7 percent of all deaths in 2023 being from medically assisted suicide.

Activists are attempting to expand euthanasia by allowing children and mentally ill people to be killed by doctors as well. Notably, recent reports claim that Canadian doctors are harvesting the organs of those being killed.

Noem Distributes $10,000 Bonuses to TSA Agents Who Worked Through Shutdown.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced $10,000 bonus checks for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents who worked without pay during the Senate Democrats’ government shutdown.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, TSA agents, and President Donald J. Trump.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Announced at a press conference on Thursday.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We are not only going to continue their paychecks like they should’ve received all along, but also they’re going to receive a bonus check for stepping up, taking on extra shifts, for showing up each and every day, for serving the American people.” – Kristi Noem

🎯IMPACT: TSA agents and air traffic controllers will receive financial recognition for their service during the shutdown, while air travel disruptions may persist temporarily.

IN FULL

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced on November 13 that thousands of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees will receive $10,000 bonus checks for their “exemplary service” during the recent record-breaking government shutdown. Standing beside TSA officers who continued working without pay, Noem said the payments would serve both as compensation and recognition for their dedication.

“We are not only going to continue their paychecks like they should’ve received all along, but also they’re going to receive a bonus check for stepping up, taking on extra shifts, for showing up each and every day, for serving the American people,” Noem said during the press conference. She distributed several checks to TSA agents at the event.

President Donald J. Trump made a similar promise earlier in the week, saying he would recommend $10,000 bonuses for air traffic controllers who remained on duty. “For those Air Traffic Controllers who were GREAT PATRIOTS, and didn’t take ANY TIME OFF for the ‘Democrat Shutdown Hoax,’ I will be recommending a BONUS of $10,000 per person for distinguished service to our Country,” Trump stated.

The shutdown, which began on October 1 and ended late Wednesday after 43 days, was the longest in U.S. history. It stemmed from a budget standoff between congressional Democrats and Republicans over government spending priorities. Senate Democrats blocked Republican measures that would have ensured continued pay for members of the military and federal employees during the funding lapse.

During the shutdown, millions of federal workers went without pay, and essential programs, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as food stamps, faced disruptions. The Trump administration announced that SNAP would continue at 50 percent of its usual funding levels, prompting widespread concern among recipients. The standoff concluded when President Trump signed a short-term spending bill to reopen the government, allowing agencies to resume normal operations.

The Federal Aviation Administration reported that staffing shortages during the shutdown forced a reduction of up to 10 percent in air traffic at 40 major airports nationwide. Despite missing paychecks, thousands of TSA agents and air traffic controllers continued to work to keep flights operating safely.

Noem emphasized that the administration aims to support those workers who endured financial hardship during the shutdown. “We will be looking at every single TSA official that helped serve during this government shutdown and do what we can to recognize that and help them financially with a bonus check to get them and their family back on their feet,” she said.

U.S. Catholic Bishops Ban Gender Transition Treatments in Catholic Hospitals.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. Catholic bishops voted to ban gender transition treatments in Catholic hospitals, formalizing a yearslong process to address transgender treatment options.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: U.S. Catholic bishops, Catholic healthcare providers, Bishop Robert Barron, and the Catholic Health Association.

📍WHEN & WHERE: November 12, during a meeting in Baltimore, Maryland.

💬KEY QUOTE: “With regard to the gender ideology, I think it’s very important the church makes a strong statement here.” – Bishop Robert Barron

🎯IMPACT: Catholic hospitals serving one in seven U.S. patients will now adhere to these revised directives.

IN FULL

U.S. Roman Catholic bishops gathered in Baltimore, Maryland, on Wednesday and voted to ban gender transition procedures in Catholic-run hospitals across the nation. The vote approved revisions to the Church’s healthcare directives, finalizing years of discussion about how Catholic institutions should handle gender-related treatments. The new rules affect thousands of hospitals and healthcare providers nationwide, many of which already do not provide transition-related care such as hormone therapy, surgeries, or psychological interventions.

Bishop Robert Barron of the Winona-Rochester diocese in Minnesota said during the meeting, “With regard to the gender ideology, I think it’s very important the Church makes a strong statement here.” The Catholic Health Association (CHA), representing numerous Catholic hospitals, thanked the bishops for incorporating their feedback and said that Catholic providers would continue to treat transgender patients “with dignity and respect, consistent with Catholic social teachings.”

The revised directives are consistent with previous Vatican guidance and a 2023 doctrinal note titled “Moral Limits to the Technological Manipulation of the Human Body.” That document instructs Catholic healthcare providers not to perform medical interventions intended to alter a person’s sexual characteristics. Catholic hospitals treat more than one in seven patients in the United States, according to the CHA, and in some regions, they are the only available medical facilities.

The decision comes as debates over gender transition procedures continue nationwide. Some research, including large-scale analyses published in recent years, suggests that surgical and hormonal interventions do not reliably improve long-term mental health outcomes for people who believe they are transgender. Other studies, such as those published in medical journals like JAMA Surgery, present more mixed findings, with some showing no measurable reduction in suicidal ideation or depression after surgery.

The policy change also comes amid broader political and legal battles over gender-related care. Earlier this year, New York Attorney General Letitia James reminded hospitals in her state that refusing services based on gender identity violates anti-discrimination laws. Her letter followed an executive order from President Donald J. Trump instructing federal agencies to stop funding “the transition of a child from one sex to another.” Several hospitals subsequently suspended youth transition treatments, including puberty blockers and hormone therapy.

Progressive religious leaders from other Christian denominations and other faiths have issued statements supporting transgenders, asserting that their traditions affirm a full spectrum of gender identities.

ICE Hiring Bounty Hunters, Private Eyes, and Skip Tracers to Catch Illegals.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is seeking to hire private investigators, bounty hunters, and skip tracers to locate and track immigrants for deportation purposes, according to government documents.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: ICE, private contractors, and vendors tasked with skip tracing services under the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement policies.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The contracts, which could total up to $180 million, involve operations across the United States and are part of ongoing efforts under the Trump administration.

💬KEY QUOTE: “To achieve a higher level of confidence, the vendor may physically verify the alien’s location and presence, preferably confirming their home or work location,” according to the documents.

🎯IMPACT: The initiative is part of a broader strategy to expand illegal immigration arrests and detentions across the country.

IN FULL

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is planning to hire private investigators, including bounty hunters and skip tracers, to locate tens of thousands of immigrants as part of an effort to expand deportations. Government documents indicate that ICE has an “immediate need” for services such as physical surveillance, skip tracing, and the collection of verification documents.

The contracts, which could amount to as much as $180 million, involve tracking over one million immigrant homes through what ICE refers to as “enhanced location research.” This includes gathering utility bills, photographs, and other documents to confirm an immigrant’s residency or employment status. Vendors would receive batches of 50,000 addresses to investigate and must provide time-stamped photographs and reports on the physical locations of targets.

Documents state that vendors are required to comply with all laws regarding data collection and privacy. The contracts also outline the potential use of surveillance technology for real-time tracking and emphasize the importance of transparency in the skip tracing process. “The vendor should prioritize locating the home address and only resort to employment location, failing that,” the documents add.

This effort is part of a larger push under the Trump administration to increase illegal immigration arrests and expand detention space. ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) division is also seeking to hire 10,000 new agents by next year.

The administration has allocated significant funding to immigration enforcement under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), making ICE one of the most well-funded policing agencies globally.

White House Says Democrat Govt Shutdown Cost $15 Billion Per Week, Hurt GDP.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett provided an economic assessment of the recent government shutdown and its impact on GDP growth and employment.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Kevin Hassett, President Donald J. Trump, and Senate Democrats.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Thursday morning, following the reopening of the government through a continuing resolution (CR) signed by President Trump.

💬KEY QUOTE: “It costs about $15 billion a week, and it accumulates to maybe 1-1.5 percent of GDP when you account for multiplier effects.” – Kevin Hassett

🎯IMPACT: GDP growth for the fourth quarter is expected to be halved, with 60,000 Americans losing jobs due to reduced economic output.

IN FULL

The director of President Donald J. Trump‘s National Economic Council, Kevin Hassett, revealed on Thursday that the Senate Democrats’ government shutdown is estimated to have cost the United States economy $15 billion each week of its duration. Hassett also warned that the funding lapse will likely reduce gross domestic product (GDP) growth by between one and 1.5 percentage points in the fourth quarter of 2025.

“Our Council of Economic Advisers said that it costs about $15 billion a week and it accumulates to maybe 1-1.5 percent of GDP when you account for multiplier effects,” Hassett said while speaking outside the White House. He continued: “Their current estimate is that 60,000 Americans, not government workers, have lost their jobs because of the reduced economic output.”

According to the top White House economic adviser, the 43-day government shutdown initiated by Democrats—the longest in U.S. history—will likely take a significant toll on the American economy. He warned that earlier GDP growth projections had forecast the economy expanding by three to four percent in the fourth quarter, similar to the two prior quarters, “Now, you’re looking at something about half of that.”

Additionally, Hassett confirmed that the October unemployment rate will remain unknown due to the shutdown, citing incomplete household surveys. “We will never know what the unemployment rate was in October because there wasn’t a household survey,” he stated, though he added that the September jobs data should be available soon.

Poll Reveals 40% of Young Women Are Considering Leaving America.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A Gallup survey revealed a record number of young women in the U.S. expressing interest in moving abroad permanently.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Gallup polling firm, young women ages 15 to 44, and young men for comparison.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Survey conducted in 2025; data reflects trends since 2007.

🎯IMPACT: Highlights a growing trend among young women tied to political and cultural shifts in the U.S.

IN FULL

A new Gallup survey reports that roughly one in five Americans say they would like to move permanently to another country. Among women aged 15 to 44, that number climbs dramatically to 40 percent, quadruple the share from 2014, when only about one in ten women in that age group said the same. This surge marks the highest gender divide Gallup has ever recorded on this question, with only 19 percent of men in the same age range expressing a desire to relocate abroad.

Gallup noted that the shift among young women first appeared in 2016, during Barack Obama’s final year as President. The change, the organization suggests, seems to stem more from cultural than purely political motivations, coinciding with years of intense debate over social identity, gender ideology, and abortion.

Those cultural and political divides were also visible in Virginia’s recent gubernatorial race, where Democrat Abigail Spanberger defeated Republican Winsome Earle-Sears. Spanberger captured about 65 percent of the female vote, compared to Earle-Sears’s 35 percent. The Democrat’s campaign emphasized her opponent’s pro-life stance.

A Spanberger spokesman stated, “The Republican nominee in this race has called abortion ‘wicked’ and just this year handwrote a note on Virginia’s proposed constitutional amendment protecting reproductive rights in Virginia, making clear that she is ‘morally opposed.’” The contest reflected how access to abortion continues to shape gendered voting patterns, particularly since the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision overturning Roe v. Wade.

Research has also found that nearly half of liberal women under 30 report having been diagnosed with a mental health condition, an unusually high rate that analysts link to social pressures, political polarization, and economic uncertainty. Notably, an estimated eight in 10 female voters under 30 cast a ballot for socialist Zohran Mamdani, helping fuel his victorious New York City mayoral campaign.

Surveys of Generation Z voters indicate diverging values along both political and gender lines. Young Trump supporters, especially men, are more likely to say they hope to marry and have children, while their counterparts who supported former Vice President Kamala Harris, predominantly women, tend not to want children at all.
