Despite taking classes online, Clark continued to participate in high school wrestling throughout 2024 and 2025, before vanishing from the campus entirely. Canning confirmed that Clark “was not on campus at all” in 2026. While in isolation, reportedly suicidal, Clark wrote a note containing broadly anti-Islamic sentiment and racial rhetoric, but made “no specific threat, especially no specific threat to the Islamic Center,” according to the police chief. In addition to the note, a red gasoline canister with a sticker displaying Nazi SS runes was found at the site. Clark had no track record of misconduct at the school.

📺 DETAIL: On Monday, in the early hours, the Metropolitan Police were called to Golders Green in North London following an attack on Shalev Ben-Yakar, a 22-year-old Jewish man. The victim was reportedly “attacked by a gang while speaking Hebrew” and hospitalized. Authorities have confirmed that the attack is being treated as an anti-Semitic hate crime. The attackers were described by an eyewitness as masked men shouting abuse in Arabic. “The reports of an assault on a Jewish constituent in Golders Green last night are intolerable… The recent spate of anti-Semitic attacks and terror have struck fear into the heart of our community,” said Sarah Sackman, Member of Parliament (MP) for the Finchley and Golders Green constituency (electoral district). Recalling the attack, Ben-Yakar said: “They kicked me like an animal and didn’t stop. They were shouting, ‘Are you Jewish?’ I was thinking they could kill me.”
🎯 IMPACT: Earlier this year, two Jewish men were stabbed by a Somalian migrant in Golders Green. Prior to the attack in late April, Jewish ambulances were targeted in a firebomb attack. The frequency of attacks has raised concerns about the safety of the Jewish community in Britain’s multicultural capital.
