Pentagon Takes Down Milley Portrait Just Ten Days After Unveiling.

Anti-Trump former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley has had his portrait taken down at the Pentagon, just ten days after its official unveiling. General Milley, 66, previously described freshly-inaugurated President Donald J. Trump as “fascist to the core.” The America First leader, in turn, has described Milley as a “woke train wreck” whose calls to the Chinese military towards the end of the first Trump administration, promising to warn them in advance of an American attack, were “treason.”

Besides his affinity with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Milley is probably best known for his embrace of Critical Race Theory (CRT) and other far-left concepts, once telling Congress, “I want to understand white rage,” implying this was responsible for the January 6, 2021 protests at the U.S. Capitol.

Before being supplanted by President Trump, former President Joe Biden issued Milley with a last-minute, preemptive pardon.

DOJ Probes Soros-Backed DA for Protecting Dangerous Illegal Immigrants.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has launched a civil rights investigation into Soros-funded District Attorney Steve Descano, examining claims of discriminatory practices in prosecutorial decisions favoring illegal immigrants.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The Department of Justice (DOJ) has opened a civil rights investigation into Fairfax Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano (D), focusing on allegations that his office has provided preferential treatment to illegal immigrants in prosecutorial decisions. The investigation will examine whether these practices violate federal laws, including Title VI and the Safe Streets Act, which prohibit discrimination based on race, color, or national origin.
📺 DETAIL: The probe will examine whether policies directing prosecutors to consider potential immigration consequences, such as deportation, when making charging and plea decisions, amount to unlawful discrimination under federal law. Officials said the investigation will determine whether the office engaged in a “pattern or practice” of violating constitutional rights or federal statutes tied to equal treatment. Descano, a progressive prosecutor backed by groups linked to George Soros, has faced criticism from Republicans and scrutiny from lawmakers over policies viewed as lenient toward non-citizen defendants. The investigation follows controversy surrounding cases in which his office allegedly reduced or dropped charges against individuals later accused of serious crimes, including a fatal bus stop stabbing. Federal officials have not announced conclusions, and Descano’s office has not publicly responded to the latest probe.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “I have authorized a full investigation to determine whether the [Office of the Fairfax Commonwealth Attorney] has engaged in unlawful discrimination in violation of Title VI and the Safe Streets Act.” – DOJ Civil Rights Division head Harmeet Dhillon.
🎯 IMPACT: The DOJ’s investigation could have significant implications for Descano’s office, potentially leading to federal oversight or legal consequences. Descano is just one of many George Soros-backed DAs who have taken similar soft-on-crime approaches in general and specifically to cases involving illegal immigrants.

Man Charged for Alleged Death Threats Against Trump, Rubio, Bondi.

A Florida man faces up to 10 years in federal prison after allegedly making violent threats against President Donald J. Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and former Attorney General Pam Bondi on social media.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Nathaniel Sanders II has been charged after allegedly threatening to kill President Donald J. Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and former Attorney General Pam Bondi on social media.
📺 DETAIL: On Monday, Nathaniel Sanders, a 32-year-old Florida man, appeared in federal court after reportedly making multiple threats against the President, along with current and former Cabinet officials, between January and April. The alleged threats included a claim that he would bomb the White House, mentioning that he owned a gun in a video aimed at First Lady Melania Trump, and expressing his desire to harm Secretary of State Rubio. The threats are being investigated by the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Capitol Police, U.S. Diplomatic Security Service, and Miami Beach Police Department. The specific charges include threatening the President of the United States and issuing threats via interstate commerce. The charges were announced by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida on Tuesday.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Threats against public officials are not political speech. They are serious federal crimes that endanger public safety and the rule of law.” – U.S. Attorney Jason A. Reding Quiñones.
🎯 IMPACT: If convicted, Sanders could face up to 10 years in federal prison. This series of threats follows a third assassination attempt against President Trump. During the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, hosted at the Washington Hilton. The suspect, Cole Tomas Allen, allegedly ran through a security checkpoint at the Washington Hilton and shot a Secret Service agent before being stopped. Allen was arrested and formally charged with attempting to assassinate the President of the United States, interstate transportation of a firearm to commit a felony, and discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence. The President and the Cabinet were evacuated and ultimately unharmed.

White House Unveils Plan to Target Transgender Terrorists.

The Trump administration’s new counterterrorism strategy focuses on addressing threats from violent secular political groups, including transgender extremists and anarchists like Antifa.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The White House released a new counterterrorism strategy that prioritizes addressing threats from violent secular political groups, including those tied to radical ideologies such as transgender extremism and anarchism. The strategy also includes a commitment to neutralizing these groups before they can harm Americans.
📺 DETAIL: The plan, revealed on Wednesday, emphasizes preemptive action, including mapping suspected networks, identifying members, and disrupting operations before attacks occur. Officials said the strategy will target “anti-American” or violent ideological movements, including anarchist-linked groups such as Antifa and individuals associated with radical transgender ideology, alongside other forms of political extremism. The initiative also prioritizes dismantling cartel operations to curb trafficking and violence, while continuing efforts against global terrorist organizations like al-Qaeda and ISIS. Authorities say the approach will use all constitutionally available law enforcement tools and expand coordination with international partners to address threats from regions such as the Middle East. The plan follows rising political violence in the U.S., including high-profile attacks, and aims to address extremism across the ideological spectrum. Transgender violence has been a major issue following several mass shootings in recent years, including a terrorist cell that killed several people across the country, including a Border Patrol agent in early 2025.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “We will use all the tools constitutionally available to us to map them at home, identify their membership… and use law enforcement tools to cripple them operationally before they can maim or kill the innocent.” – Sebastian Gorka, Senior Director for Counterterrorism
🎯 IMPACT: The strategy signals a significant shift in counterterrorism priorities, focusing on domestic threats from radical secular groups alongside traditional threats like cartels and jihadist organizations. It also reflects a broader effort to address the rise of politically motivated violence in the United States.
📺 FLASHBACK: Recent years have seen a rise in violence committed by individuals identifying with radical ideologies, including the Nashville school shooting and the assassination of Charlie Kirk. These incidents have drawn attention to the growing threat posed by extremist groups and individuals.

D.C. Police Brass Busted Over Scheme to Fake Falling Crime Stats.

Thirteen D.C. police officers, including high-ranking officials, are on leave amid allegations of manipulating crime statistics to falsely portray a safer city under the former Biden regime.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Thirteen officers from the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C., including an assistant chief and a precinct commander, have been placed on administrative leave. They are implicated in a scheme to manipulate crime data, allegedly to present the city as safer than it was under the former Biden regime.
📰 DETAIL: The officers, including Assistant Chief LaShay Makal and Second District Cmdr. Tatjana Savoy, were linked to the manipulation of crime statistics. The D.C. Police Union highlighted discrepancies between the department’s reported crime drop and FBI data showing an increase in violent crime. The investigation into these allegations was referred to the U.S. Attorney’s Office earlier this year.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Our internal affairs bureau has completed an investigation into crime reporting. This investigation was referred to us earlier this year for the United States Attorney’s Office.” – Jeffery Carroll, Metropolitan Police Department
🎯 IMPACT: The suspension of these officers raises questions about the integrity of prior crime reporting in D.C. and has prompted a review by the House Oversight Committee. The Metropolitan Police Department has until May 12 to provide documents related to the internal investigation. The crime rate in D.C., particularly the murder rate, has plummeted since President Donald J. Trump’s second term began, due to his policy of deploying National Guard troops on the streets of the city. A report from last month stated that murders, carjackings, and other crimes are reaching historic lows.

Oil Prices Fall as Trump and Iran Say Hormuz Could Reopen Soon.

Oil prices fall amid talk of a U.S.-Iran peace deal reopening the Strait of Hormuz, stabilizing global energy supplies.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The price of Brent crude oil fell below $98 a barrel, the lowest since late April, following reports that the U.S. and Iran are moving towards an agreement to end the war.
📰 DETAIL: On Wednesday, the price of Brent crude oil, a short-term price benchmark, fell to $97.48 a barrel, the lowest since April 22 and nearly an 11 percent drop. Similarly, the price of US West Texas Intermediate crude oil fell to $90.74, an 11.3 percent decrease. The drop in oil prices comes amid reports that the United States and Iran are making progress on an initial agreement, potentially ending the conflict and reopening the Strait of Hormuz, the closure of which has driven oil prices higher and led to significant volatility. President Donald J. Trump expressed optimism about a deal with Iran, but emphasized that further military action would follow if U.S. terms are rejected. Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman, Esmail Baghaei, confirmed that the Islamic Republic was reviewing a proposal from the U.S. following President Trump’s remarks. The country’s response will be conveyed through Pakistan, which is acting as a mediator between the U.S. and Iran. “After finalizing its considerations, Iran will convey its views to the Pakistani side,” said Baghaei.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Assuming Iran agrees to give what has been agreed to, which is, perhaps, a big assumption, the already legendary Epic Fury will be at an end, and the highly effective Blockade will allow the Hormuz Strait to be OPEN TO ALL, including Iran.” – President Donald J. Trump.
🎯 IMPACT: The potential reopening of the Strait of Hormuz could stabilize oil markets. In late April, President Trump warned about the impact of a prolonged blockade of the Strait on oil prices. Earlier the same month, the price of Brent crude oil hit an all-time high of $144.42 just hours before the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran was set to expire.

FBI Raids Office of Democrat State Senate Boss in Corruption Probe.

Virginia state Senator Louise Lucas’s office and cannabis dispensary were raided by the FBI on Wednesday as part of a corruption investigation.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has conducted a raid on the office and cannabis dispensary of Louise Lucas (D-VA), a Virginia state Senator and a key ally of Democrat Governor of Virginia Abigail Spanberger.
📰 DETAIL: On Wednesday, the FBI raided the office of state Sen. Louise Lucas. The FBI’s raid of Lucas’ office in Portsmouth, Virginia, relates to an ongoing federal corruption and illegal marijuana sale investigation. The FBI also raided a cannabis dispensary co-owned by Lucas in Portsmouth. The 82-year-old Lucas is President pro tempore of the Virginia Senate. President pro tempore is a high-ranking officer elected by the state’s Senate to preside over sessions in place of the Lieutenant Governor. Lucas is a prominent figure in Virginia’s Democratic Party and vocally campaigned for Governor Spanberger during the state’s 2025 gubernatorial election. Following the raid, the FBI has emphasized that there is no threat to public safety and that its multiple search warrants were approved by a federal judge. Although Lucas was present during the raid, she claimed she did not know why it was being conducted. This is not the first time Lucas has faced a marijuana-related probe. A previous investigation alleged that some of the products sold at Lucas’s dispensary exceeded the legal THC limits established by Virginia state law. THC is the primary psychoactive chemical in marijuana responsible for getting the user high.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “I sell hemp products and CBD.” – Louise Lucas
🎯 IMPACT: The raid could have political ramifications, especially given Lucas’s influence in Virginia’s Senate. This is just one of several problems facing Virginia Democrats. After Virginia voters narrowly approved a Democrat-drawn redistricting measure back in April, the certification of the results has been blocked by a judge, citing legal concerns about the referendum’s constitutionality.

Tennesse Puts Forward New Electoral Map Likely to Eliminate Democrat House Seat.

Tennessee Republicans have introduced a congressional map that could eliminate the state’s only Democrat seat, following a Supreme Court decision against racial gerrymandering.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Tennessee Republicans have put forward a new congressional map that could secure all nine of the state’s congressional districts for the GOP by eliminating a Democrat-represented district that was gerrymandered in order to create a black voting majority. Governor Bill Lee (R) had called the state legislature into a special session on Friday in to consider redistricting following a Supreme Court ruling against racial gerrymandering.
📰 DETAIL: The proposed map divides the majority-black district in Shelby County, potentially displacing Representative Steve Cohen, and also alters Maury County to favor Republican incumbent Rep. Andy Ogles. This move follows the Supreme Court ruling, related to Louisiana, which found that Democrat-leaning, racially gerrymandered districts that some states were forced to create by the Voting Rights Act are unconstitutional.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “The Supreme Court has opined that redistricting, like the judicial system, should be color-blind,” noted Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton.
🎯 IMPACT: If passed, the map would likely ensure a Republican sweep in Tennessee’s congressional delegation, further solidifying GOP control in the state and handing the party another House member in the November midterms. Similar redistricting efforts are underway in other Southern states, including Louisiana, Florida, and Alabama, following the Supreme Court’s ruling against racial gerrymandering.

Scottish Left-Separatist Sentenced for Sexual Offending Against Boys and Young Men Ahead of Crunch Elections.

The sentencing of Jordan Linden, a former Scottish National Party (SNP) council leader convicted of multiple sexual offenses, comes a day before critical elections for the Scottish government.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: A former Scottish National Party (SNP) council leader was sentenced to 18 months in prison on Wednesday after being convicted of multiple sex offenses, including sexual assault and inappropriate communication with young men and boys. This comes just ahead of crunch elections to the Scottish Parliament—roughly equivalent to a U.S. state legislature—on May 7.
📍 WHEN & WHERE: The sentencing took place on Wednesday at Falkirk Sheriff Court in Scotland.
📺 DETAIL: Jordan Linden, a former leader of North Lanarkshire Council, has been convicted of 10 sexual offenses. Linden’s offenses span a 10-year period between 2011 and 2021. Over the course of several years, multiple investigations were conducted into Linden’s behavior by the SNP, the Scottish Youth Parliament (chaired by Linden between 2015 and 2016), and Police Scotland, but these did not result in criminal charges until recently. In 2022, Linden resigned as leader of North Lanarkshire Council following allegations of sexual harassment, resulting in the collapse of the local SNP administration.
🎯 IMPACT: Linden’s sentencing damages the SNP before elections to local councils and Scotland’s devolved legislature on Thursday. The party is left-separatist, wanting to take Scotland out of the United Kingdom, but not nationalist, as it wants to surrender sovereignty to the European Union (EU) in order to rejoin it, and increase mass migration. While only a minority of Scots support breaking up the United Kingdom, the SNP is still the country’s leading political party, and it is projected to remain the largest in the Scottish Parliament after tomorrow’s elections. However, it is also projected to fall short of an outright majority in the Scottish Parliament, with Nigel Farage’s Reform Party expected to make an electoral breakthrough for the first time. This is just one of several notable sexual assault cases concerning Scotland.

Ted Turner, Founder of CNN, Passes Away at 87.

Ted Turner, the founder of CNN, has passed away at the age of 87.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Ted Turner, the founder of CNN and an influential figure in media, sports, and conservation, has died at the age of 87, as confirmed by Turner Enterprises. Details about his passing have not been disclosed as of the time of publication.
📺 DETAIL: Turner’s launching of CNN as the first 24-hour cable news network in 1980 changed the news industry fundamentally. Beyond media, he owned the Atlanta Braves and Hawks, and poured a billion dollars into the United Nations Foundation, a nonprofit that promotes support for the UN, and served as chairman of its board up to his passing. In 2018, Turner revealed he was battling Lewy body dementia, a progressive brain disorder.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Ted is the giant on whose shoulders we stand, and we will all take a moment today to recognize him and his impact on our lives and the world.” – CNN Chairman and CEO Mark Thompson
🎯 IMPACT: Turner’s push for 24-hour news broadcasting reshaped journalism.
📺 FLASHBACK: Turner married three times, including a decade-long union with controversial actress Jane Fonda, whom he described as the great love of his life. He was a strong critic of Christianity, describing it as a “religion for losers” and mocking Catholics marking Ash Wednesday as “Jesus freaks.”

DATA: Affordable Health Care is Top Issue for MAHA Voters.

A new poll reveals that affordability, particularly in health care, is the leading concern for “Make America Healthy Again” voters, potentially influencing midterm election outcomes.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: A poll conducted by KFF found that health care costs are the top concern for voters identifying with the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement, with 61 percent of all respondents stating it will have a “major impact” on their midterm voting decisions.
📺 DETAIL: The survey, conducted April 14-19 among 1,343 U.S. adults, revealed that 42 percent of MAHA supporters prioritize lowering health care costs over other issues like food safety (21 percent) and vaccine reevaluation (10 percent). This comes as the Trump administration faces criticism for rising costs amid the Iran war, which has driven up gasoline prices and affected consumer spending. The administration’s approval ratings on health care and food policy remain low, at 38 percent and 46 percent, respectively. The MAHA movement has also split with the Trump administration over the use of the pesticide glyphosate, which is believed to cause cancer. The Trump administration recently sided with pharma giant Bayer, which manufactures the pesticide, over MAHA activists.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “This poll really shows that the issues the MAHA movement has elevated resonate broadly with the American public, but even for voters who support MAHA, health care costs are the dominant priority by a wide margin,” said Audrey Kearney, senior survey analyst at KFF.
🎯 IMPACT: With affordability concerns dominating voter priorities, Republicans may face challenges in maintaining control of Congress in November if it remains focused on the Middle East and other foreign policy issues, instead of emphasizing its work to bring down drug prices.
