Canadian PM Claims Trump Is ‘Appeasing’ Putin, Says U.S. President Being ‘Dumb.’

Canada’s woke prime minister and sometime blackface enthusiast Justin Trudeau has accused President Donald J. Trump of being “dumb” by enforcing tariffs and allegedly “appeasing” Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trudeau announced that Canada would retaliate to the 25 percent tariffs on Canadian goods with its own 25 percent tariffs on $30 billion worth of American products. After 21 days, the tariffs will be expanded to cover another $125 billion worth of goods.

“The United States launched a trade war against Canada, their closest partner, and ally, the closest friend,” Trudeau said at a press conference. “At the same time, they’re talking about working positively with Russia, appeasing Vladimir Putin, a lying, murderous dictator. Make that make sense,” he whined.

President Trump enacted the tariffs against both Canada and Mexico for a variety of reasons, including the trafficking of illegal migrants and the deadly drug fentanyl across both borders into the United States.

The America First leader has been consistent on his desire to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, attempting to work with Ukrianian President Volodymyr Zelensky on a rare earth minerasl deal to give the U.S. an ongoing stake in Ukraine’s security. The Trump administration has also been in negotiations with Russia to end the conflict.

Trudeau announced his resignation earlier this year, and will likely remain in office for only a matter of weeks. In the U.S., he is best known for his crackdown on the Freedom Convoy protests during the COVID-19 pandemic, in which he used war-time emergency powers against peaceful protestors.

Following the Canadian leader’s outburst, President Trump warned “Governor” Trudeau that more tariffs could be incoming.

Prominently displayed, the photos posted on yard signs with the name and criminal charges for each illegal immigrant will be difficult for reporters to frame out of their live shots from the White House lawn.

Numbering 100 in total, the yard signs include an illegal Jamaican national arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Baltimore, who was convicted of first-degree murder. Another yard sign features an illegal immigrant from Burkina Faso who was arrested last week by ICE in Buffalo with a previous conviction for rape. A number of the criminals have prior convictions for violent sex crimes against minors, aggravated assault and battery, and crimes relating to their gang membership.


Early Monday morning, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt and President Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, addressed the media regarding the display on the White House lawn and the administration’s success in removing dangerous illegal immigrants and securing the border since January.

“Between President Trump’s inauguration and April 1 of this month, only nine illegal aliens were released into the United States. A staggering 99.99 percent decrease from the more than 184,000 illegal aliens who were released into the country under Biden during the same period last year,” Leavitt announced. She added: “Total attempted illegal crossings at the southwest border hit a record low in February, only to fall to another new record low again last month in March.”

Meanwhile, Homan took the corporate media to task over falsely alleging that the Trump administration deported a two-year-old American citizen. “What we did is remove children with their mothers who requested it—that’s a parental decision. Parenting 101,” Homan said, arguing: “I’ll tell you what, if we didn’t do it, the story today would be, ‘Trump administration’s separating families again!'”

“We’re keeping families together. When a parent says, I want my two-year-old to go with me, we made that happen. They weren’t deported; the parents made the decision,” Homan added.

Mario Bustamante-Leiva and Cristian Rodrigo Montecino-Sanzana—both Chilean illegals—have been arrested in connection with the purse theft, which contained $3,000 in cash. Both men are suspected of being members of a large, organized criminal organization on the U.S. East Coast that has executed many thefts and robberies. Bustamante-Leiva was arrested earlier on Sunday by the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Over a decade ago, in the United Kingdom, Bustamante-Leiva was charged with 22 separate acts of theft over a half-year period, totaling around $28,000. The extent of Montecino-Sanzana’s criminal record is not yet known.

Secretary Noem was dining at The Capital Burger—a restaurant in Washington, D.C.—on Easter Sunday when a masked man snatched her purse, which contained the former South Dakota governor’s driver’s license, $3,000 in cash, passport, DHS identification badge, and her house keys.

Kathy Hochul, who is facing a net job approval rating of -18, with 55 percent of voters expressing disapproval. Hochul’s favorability has slightly improved recently, marking a shift from a previous Siena College poll.

The poll suggests that if the gubernatorial election were held today, Hochul would attract 46 percent of the vote against Stefanik’s 40 percent, while 14 percent remain undecided. Against Lawler, Hochul would lead with 45 percent to his 38 percent, and against Blakeman, she would maintain a lead of 44 percent to 36 percent.

Lawler plans to decide by June whether he will enter the race, focusing on his perceived ability to pose a viable challenge to Hochul. “I’ll make my decision solely based on whether or not I believe there’s a pathway to win,” Lawler commented during a recent media interview. Black Hawk Pilot Ignored Instructions, Leading to Crash that Killed 67.

Shocking new details reveal that Army Black Hawk pilot Capt. Rebecca M. Lobach repeatedly disregarded instructions in the minutes leading up to the tragic collision with a commercial airliner, which resulted in the deaths of all passengers.

Refresher: On January 29, 2025, an Army Black Hawk helicopter collided midair with American Airlines Flight 5342 over Washington, D.C., killing all 67 aboard. ​

Rank: While Lobach was the highest-ranking soldier on the flight, her instructor, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, had twice as many flight hours. (This will be important below.)

The new details: A New York Times investigation—based on government documents, cockpit recordings, and interviews with over 50 aviation experts and officials—uncovered a fuller picture of the crash. The following are direct excerpts from the Times article:

  • First elevation instruction: “Warrant Officer Eaves stated that it was at 300 feet and descending to 200 feet—necessary because the maximum height for its route closer to the airport had dropped to 200 feet.”
  • Second elevation instruction: “But even as it reached that juncture, Warrant Officer Eaves evidently felt obligated to repeat his instruction: The Black Hawk was at 300 feet, he said, and needed to descend. Captain Lobach said she would. But two and a half minutes later, the Black Hawk still was above 200 feet—a dangerously high level.”
  • Left turn instruction: “The Black Hawk was 15 seconds away from crossing paths with the jet. Warrant Officer Eaves then turned his attention to Captain Lobach. He told her he believed that air traffic control wanted them to turn left, toward the east river bank. Turning left would have opened up more space between the helicopter and Flight 5342, which was heading for Runway 33 at an altitude of roughly 300 feet. She did not turn left.”

The mission: The Times report also confirmed the purpose of the Black Hawk flight that evening was to evaluate Capt. Lobach in a simulated emergency evacuation scenario.

Perspective: The collision was the deadliest U.S. air disaster since 2001.

Big picture: There is no public information to indicate that Captain Lobach was admitted into the Army due to relaxed DEI standards. However, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered the military to end separate fitness standards for men and women—which includes tests of reaction time.

Major Power Outage Hits Europe, Capitals in Darkness.

Spanish electricity operator, Red Eléctrica, reported significant effects throughout the Iberian Peninsula, which has a combined population surpassing 50 million. Details on the exact number of people impacted remain unclear, but several regions in Spain, including the parliament building in Madrid and numerous subway stations, were left without power just after midday. A chart from Spain’s electricity network indicated a significant drop in electricity demand around 12:15 PM, plunging from 27,500MW to about 15,000MW.

In Portugal, similar scenarios unfolded in the capital, Lisbon, as well as in northern and southern areas. The Portuguese government, represented by Cabinet Minister Leitão Amaro, indicated that the disturbances likely originated from issues with the distribution network in Spain. However, the exact cause of the outages was unconfirmed as of the time of publication.

Local distributor E-Redes described the problem as stemming from the European electricity system, which had to strategically cut power to stabilize the grid. Disconnects were also reported in certain areas of France. Some reports indicate a fire on south-western France’s Alaric Mountain, which damaged a high-voltage power line, may also have played a role.

Transportation in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon was severely affected, with subway cars evacuated. Legal proceedings came to a halt, and electronic payment systems, including ATMs, were rendered inoperative, further complicating daily life. Communication was interrupted, preventing mobile phone calls, although some apps remained functional.

Efforts were made to restore service, with France reportedly overcoming its outages and Spain reporting partial recovery of power supply in the country’s north and south several hours after the blackout began.

The incident highlighted the vulnerabilities in cross-border energy dependencies within Europe, where energy security has deteriorated as a result of an ongoing sanctions war with Russia and net-zero policies shutting down many traditional power plants.

Walker Forge, a third-generation business based in Wisconsin, manufactures steel forgings and is one of the companies vocal in its tariff support. Europe Taking Most Asylum Seekers Since 2017.

Europe accepted more asylum applications from migrants in 2024 than in any year since 2017, totaling over 430,000 migrants. The European statistics agency Eurostat announced the numbers this week, noting that half of the migrants came from either Syria or Afghanistan.

“This is the highest value since the peaks recorded after the refugee crisis related to the war in Syria in 2016 and 2017,” Eurostat said in a press release.

Germany saw the largest number of accepted asylum claims, making up 34.4 percent of the overall number. Over 185,000 migrants were given full refugee status, while over 169,000 were given subsidiary protection so they could not be deported. Nearly 14,000 migrants entered Europe as part of a United Nations (UN) program, with nearly half ending up in Germany.

Close to half of those who applied for asylum in 2024 were rejected, with Portugal accepting only ten asylum seekers last year, the highest rejection rate in Europe at 99.2 percent. Germany, on he other hand, rejected just 46.6 percent of applications.

Notably, even rejected asylum seekers are often not deported, even if they are officially served deportation orders.

This year, the European Commission, the EU’s unelected central executive, reported that France may overtake Germany as the most popular destination for asylum seekers. France recorded over 40,000 asylum applications in the first three months of this year, compared to just over 37,000 for Germany.

In recent years, many European Union member states have switched to focusing on controlling illegal migration and prioritizing the deportation of those who have no right to stay, as establishment political parties seek to head off electoral advances by anti-mass migration populists. Sweden is offering as much as $34,000 to migrants who wish to go back to their home countries.

Despite the change, the 2024 statistics show the number of illegal immigrants flowing across the borders of European member states remains historically high.
