Zelensky Launches Scathing New Attack on Trump Team – ‘He’s Good at Real Estate, This is Different.’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continues to make backhanded comments at the administration of President Donald J. Trump, claiming that Europe, unlike the United States, “has discipline and no chaos.” He also accused members of the administration of falling for Russian propaganda surrounding the conflict, in comments reported by the BBC this week.

Zelensky singled out a friend of President Trump, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, who recently appeared in an interview with Tucker Carlson and spoke at length about the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

“I think that Witkoff often quotes the Kremlin narratives… I can’t be ungrateful to the Americans for everything they did, but they are often, unfortunately, under the influence of Russian narratives,” Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian leader went on to seemingly insult Witkoff, saying, “He doesn’t look like a military man. He doesn’t look like a general, and he doesn’t have such experience. As far as I know, he is very good at selling and buying real estate. And this is a little different.” Zelensky, a former television comedian, also has no prior military command experience.

The remarks come just weeks after a disrespectful Zelensky was kicked out of the White House after President Trump warned him that he was gambling with World War Three. While Zelensky attempted to apologize for his behavior, Ukrainian officials continued attacking the Trump administration.

Zelensky has a history of ungrateful behavior behind closed doors. A phone call between him and former President Joe Biden in June 2022 revealed that he had angered the former President with his lack of gratitude and constant demands.

NATO Chief Tells People to Get Ready ‘For the Scale of War Our Grandparents and Great-Grandparents Endured.’

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has declared that “We are Russia’s next target” and told citizens to “be prepared for the scale of war our grandparents and great-grandparents endured.”

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Mark Rutte, General Sir Richard Barrons, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Rutte spoke in Berlin, Germany, while Zelensky is set to hold talks with leaders from 30 nations today.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I fear that too many are quietly complacent. Too many don’t feel the urgency. And too many believe that time is on our side. It is not. The time for action is now.” – Mark Rutte

🎯IMPACT: NATO nations are being called to increase defense spending and production ahead of a general war with the Russian Federation.

IN FULL

North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secretary General Mark Rutte has delivered a warning to alliance members’ citizens, telling them to brace for the possibility of a major conflict on the scale of the Second World War. Speaking in Berlin, Germany, he pressed NATO governments to dramatically increase defense spending and industrial output to confront Russia.

“We are Russia’s next target. I fear that too many are quietly complacent. Too many don’t feel the urgency. And too many believe that time is on our side. It is not. The time for action is now,” said Rutte, a 58-year-old former Prime Minister of the Netherlands and Unilever human resources manager with no military service record. “[W]e must be prepared for the scale of war our grandparents and great grandparents endured.”

At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is holding intensive talks with leaders from around 30 countries—including Germany, the United Kingdom, and France—on strategies to tackle Russia’s ongoing invasion. Zelensky called for “doable and realistic steps” to end the fighting in a way that delivers outcomes “reliable and dignified for Ukraine.”

U.S. President Donald J. Trump has been pressing Zelensky to agree to a compromise peace with Russia, saying recently, “I give the people of Ukraine and the military of Ukraine tremendous credit for the, you know, bravery and for the fighting and all of that. But, you know, at some point, size will win, generally.”

Russia is more than three times larger than Ukraine by population, and its industrial capacity is substantially larger.

Obama Judge Orders Immediate Release of Illegal Immigrant Abrego Garcia.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A federal judge ordered the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran illegal immigrant and alleged MS-13 gang member, from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Kilmar Abrego Garcia, U.S. District Court Judge Paula Xinis, and Trump Justice Department (DOJ) lawyers.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Maryland, with the ruling issued on Thursday.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Respondents’ conduct over the past months belie that his detention has been for the basic purpose of effectuating removal, lending further support that Abrego Garcia should be held no longer,” wrote Judge Xinis.

🎯IMPACT: The ruling halts further deportation attempts and releases Garcia after months of legal and procedural disputes.

IN FULL

On Thursday, U.S. District Court Judge Paula Xinis ordered the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran illegal alien, from immigration detention. Garcia had been mistakenly deported to El Salvador earlier this year despite a 2019 ruling that prohibited his removal to his home country due to supposed threats of persecution from local gangs.

Judge Xinis, a Barack Obama appointee, stated in her ruling that “respondents have no statutory authority to remove Abrego Garcia to a third country absent a removal order” and criticized the prolonged detention, saying it could not continue. The Trump administration had attempted to deport Garcia to several African nations, including Uganda and Liberia, but faced diplomatic and legal challenges.

Garcia’s attorney, Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg, argued that deporting him to Liberia or any other third country without guarantees against further deportation to El Salvador was unlawful. Notably, Garcia has also been accused of membership in the violent MS-13 criminal gang and participation in human smuggling.

The Trump administration maintained that Garcia had received due process and cited an immigration judge’s determination that he did not qualify for asylum and that he failed to prove a risk of persecution or torture in Liberia. However, the ruling from Judge Xinis now blocks further deportation attempts and allows Garcia to be released from custody.

Over 80% of Somali Refugee Households Are Taking Welfare in Walz’s Minnesota.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: New data from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) reveals that more than eight-in-ten Somali refugee-headed households in Minnesota are on one or more forms of taxpayer-funded welfare.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Somali refugee households in Minnesota and the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

📍WHEN & WHERE: Based on ten years of data from the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS) in Minnesota.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Nearly every Somali household with children… receives some form of welfare,” said CIS researcher Jason Richwine.

🎯IMPACT: The data highlights significant disparities in welfare use, poverty rates, education, and English proficiency between Somali refugees and native-born Minnesotans.

IN FULL

Minnesota’s Somali refugee community shows significantly higher reliance on welfare compared to native-born residents, according to a new analysis of a decade of American Community Survey data. The Center for Immigration Studies report finds that 81 percent of Somali refugee–headed households in the state use at least one form of taxpayer-funded welfare. That includes 27 percent receiving cash assistance, 54 percent using food stamps, and 73 percent enrolled in Medicaid. Among native-born Minnesotan households, 21 percent use welfare programs, with six percent on cash aid, seven percent on food stamps, and 18 percent on Medicaid.

The gap is even larger among families with children. The study shows that 89 percent of Somali-headed households with children rely on public assistance, compared to 30 percent of native-born households with children. “Nearly every Somali household with children… receives some form of welfare,” said researcher Jason Richwine.

The report also highlights broader socioeconomic issues, including a finding that more than 66 percent of Somali refugees in Minnesota live in or near poverty. Nearly 60 percent report limited English proficiency, and 40 percent lack a high school diploma, compared with five percent of native-born Minnesotans.

World Bank data show that personal remittances—money sent back to Somalia by migrants—have historically accounted for roughly one-fifth of Somalia’s GDP. The United States is also the largest donor of foreign aid to Somalia, providing over $1 billion to the country in 2023 alone.

The release of the welfare data comes as Minnesota faces increasing federal scrutiny over alleged large-scale fraud involving state social programs. The U.S. Treasury Department has launched an investigation into claims that significant amounts of taxpayer money were improperly obtained through Somali-related Medicaid and welfare schemes involving networks of nonprofits and service providers.

Whistleblowers have also alleged that Governor Tim Walz (D) was informed of potential irregularities tied to the Feeding Our Future nonprofit as early as 2019 but failed to take sufficient action. Nearly 500 Minnesota state employees have accused the administration of disregarding warnings and retaliating against whistleblowers who tried to raise concerns.

Federal Medicaid officials have warned that Minnesota could risk losing funding without more aggressive oversight and corrective action. Throughout the controversy, Governor Walz has defended Minnesota’s Somali community and even said he hopes it becomes larger, stating, “Instead of demonizing our Somali community, we’re going to do more to welcome more in.”

Anti-Trump UK Deputy PM Replaced Queen’s Portrait with Pan-African Flags.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth II was removed from the Foreign Office—equivalent to the U.S. State Department—by then-Foreign Secretary David Lammy and replaced with pan-African flags. Lammy is now Deputy Prime Minister, Lord Chancellor, and Justice Secretary.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: David Lammy and Britain’s governing Labour Party, led by Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Following the Labour Party’s election win in mid-2024, at the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office in London.

💬KEY QUOTE: The artwork was intended to be a “celebration of London’s immense ethnic wealth.” – Yinka Shonibare

🎯IMPACT: The removal of the portrait sparked discussions about cultural representation and changes in official government spaces.

IN FULL

Following the Labour Party’s election win in Britain in mid-2024, the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO)—equivalent to the U.S. State Department—under then-Foreign Secretary David Lammy took down a portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth II and replaced it with pan-African flags. Lammy, who has described President Donald J. Trump as a “racist KKK and Nazi sympathizer” and the MAGA movement as a “cult of white supremacists,” now holds multiple senior positions as Deputy Prime Minister, Lord Chancellor, and Justice Secretary.

The 2014 portrait of the smiling Queen was moved into storage, leaving no images of the late monarch visible in the department. In its place, the office hung two works by British-Ghanaian artist Larry Achiampong: Pan African Flag For The Relic Travellers’ Alliance (Motion) and (Community). These pieces use the pan-African colours—green, yellow, and red—with 54 black stars symbolising the nations of Africa. Lammy, notably, is a black identitarian whose parents were Guyanese immigrants.

The (Community) artwork was later removed in late 2024, while (Motion) remains on display. The decision to remove the Queen’s portrait follows similar moves elsewhere in government, such as taking down a portrait of William Shakespeare at 10 Downing Street, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s official residence, and the removal of a portrait of Sir Winston Churchill by Chancellor (Treasury Secretary) Rachel Reeves at her adjoining official residence.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell Launches Bid for Minnesota Governor.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has announced his candidacy for Minnesota governor in 2026.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Mike Lindell, other Republican candidates, and incumbent Governor Tim Walz (D).

📍WHEN & WHERE: Lindell announced his decision on social media on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Minnesota.

💬KEY QUOTE: “After prayerful consideration and hearing from so many of you across our great state, I’ve made the decision to enter the 2026 gubernatorial race.” – Mike Lindell

🎯IMPACT: Lindell’s entry adds to an already competitive race for Minnesota’s governorship, with Governor Walz seeking a third term.

IN FULL

Mike Lindell, the founder and CEO of MyPillow, has announced his intention to run for Governor of Minnesota in 2026. This decision was made official on Thursday, December 11, 2025, after he previously filed paperwork but had not confirmed his candidacy.

In his announcement, Lindell stated, “After prayerful consideration and hearing from so many of you across our great state, I’ve made the decision to enter the 2026 gubernatorial race. I’m still standing and I’ll stand for you.”

Lindell will be running as a Republican in what is shaping up to be a competitive race. Governor Tim Walz (D) is seeking a third consecutive term, a feat that has not been achieved in Minnesota’s history. Other Republican candidates include the state House Republican Speaker Lisa Demuth and Scott Jensen, who ran against Walz in 2022.

Notably, Gov. Walz is facing increased scrutiny after state government whistleblowers publicly alleged his administration discovered and then ignored a network of social services fraud schemes connected to the state’s large Somali community. The whistleblowers allege state officials feared being called racist if they stepped in to prevent the theft of an estimated $1 billion in taxpayer dollars.

House Passes Defense Bill: Increased Military Salaries, $800M for Ukraine, $650M for Israel.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The House of Representatives passed a $900 billion National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to fund defense initiatives, increase troop pay, and provide aid to Ukraine and Israel.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: 197 Republicans and 115 Democrats voted in favor, with House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) voicing strong support.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The NDAA passed in the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

💬KEY QUOTE: “With the NDAA, President Trump and Congressional Republicans are restoring American strength, defending our homeland, standing with our allies, and ensuring the United States remains the most powerful and capable military force the world has ever known.” – Speaker Johnson

🎯IMPACT: The bill codifies 15 Trump-era executive orders, increases troop pay, funds Ukraine, and repeals outdated war authorizations, but drew criticism from some Republicans for excessive spending and missing provisions.

IN FULL

The House of Representatives passed the $900 billion National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) on Wednesday, allocating funds for troop pay increases, defense infrastructure, $800 million in aid to Ukraine, and $650m in aid to Israel. The 3,000-page bill passed with bipartisan support, as 197 Republicans and 115 Democrats voted in favor.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) praised the legislation, stating, “With the NDAA, President Trump and Congressional Republicans are restoring American strength, defending our homeland, standing with our allies, and ensuring the United States remains the most powerful and capable military force the world has ever known.”

The bill includes provisions to codify 15 Executive Orders from the Trump administration, such as removing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) mandates from the military, declaring an emergency at the southern border, banning men from competing in women’s sports at military academies, and funding a “Golden Dome” missile defense system. It also repeals the authorizations of force for the 2003 Iraq War and the Persian Gulf War.

Eighteen Republicans, including members of the House Freedom Caucus, opposed the bill. Concerns ranged from the level of spending and foreign aid to the absence of provisions like a ban on central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) . Rep. Keith Self (R-TX) criticized the omission, calling a central bank digital currency “the ultimate tool for government surveillance and control over every American’s finances.”

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) expressed frustration over the rushed timeline, saying, “Over 100 Democrats voted to pass this. That ought to tell you right there what this is about. Got some liberal stuff tucked in there, and it’s over 3,000 pages. We get it on Sunday, and they’re voting on it today. There’s no way we will ever know what was in there.” The bill now heads to the Senate for consideration.

Trump Backs ‘Fantastic’ Noem Amid Replacement Rumors.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump dismissed rumors that he is considering replacing Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Trump, Secretary Noem, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, and White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Wednesday, during a roundtable with business leaders.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I read a story recently that I’m unhappy with Kristi—I’m so happy with her… She’s fantastic, actually,” said President Trump.

🎯IMPACT: The White House firmly denied the report, calling it “total Fake News” and praising Noem’s performance.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump threw cold water on corporate media speculation that he is looking to replace Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem, calling her performance “fantastic” during a roundtable with business leaders late on Wednesday. “I read a story recently that I’m unhappy with Kristi—I’m so happy with her… We have a border that’s the best border in the history of our country. Why would I be unhappy? She’s fantastic, actually,” Trump told reporters.

The pushback comes following a report from MS NOW (formerly MSNBC), which claimed that Noem was on “very thin ice” and that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller was leading an effort to replace her. The report alleged dissatisfaction with Noem’s pace in building new detention centers and handling of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and disaster relief funds. However, the Trump White House dismissed the claims as “total Fake News.”

White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson said of the report, “Everything about this is total Fake News. Secretary Noem is doing a great job implementing the President’s agenda and making America safe again. MS Now continues to beclown themselves by inventing narratives that simply are not true.”

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin also criticized the report, saying, “I can’t speak for the President, but I’ve seen more credible reporting on Bigfoot.”

Mixed Signals as U.S. Jobless Claims Rise But Continuing Claims Fall to Seven-Month Low.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Jobless claims in the U.S. increased by 44,000 to 236,000 for the week ending December 6, surpassing analyst predictions of 213,000. However, continuing claims have reached their lowest level since mid-April.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The U.S. Labor Department reported the data, which reflects national trends in employment and layoffs.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The data covers the week ending December 6.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Applications for unemployment aid are viewed as a proxy for layoffs and are close to a real-time indicator of the health of the job market.” – Labor Department report

🎯IMPACT: The rise in claims contrasts with a drop in continuing claims, which fell by 99,000 to 1.84 million, suggesting a mixed picture for the labor market.

IN FULL

U.S. jobless claims jumped by 44,000 to 236,000 in the week ending December 6, according to the Labor Department—well above economists’ forecasts of 213,000 and a sharp increase from the prior week’s 192,000. However, the number of people receiving ongoing unemployment benefits dropped 99,000 to 1.84 million for the week ending November 29—the lowest level since mid-April.

The four-week moving average of new claims, which accounts for short-term volatility, edged up 2,000 to 216,750. Unemployment claims are widely regarded as a timely indicator of layoffs and overall labor market conditions. The latest figures paint a mixed picture: some industries appear to be cutting jobs, while others are retaining workers or rehiring them.

The data underscore the ongoing fluctuations in the U.S. job market, highlighting the need for policymakers to monitor employment indicators in the weeks ahead closely. On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve cut interest rates for a third time, tacitly acknowledging the Trump administration’s longstanding position that excessive borrowing costs for businesses and consumers have held down hiring.

Soccer Fans Celebrate Removal of LGBT Flag, But…

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: An LGBTQ+ flag that flew at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in England was taken down during the team’s Champions League match against rival soccer club Slavia Prague. The flag’s removal came at the request of the Czech team.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Tottenham, Slavia Prague, and soccer fans.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Earlier this week in England.

💬KEY QUOTE: “As a Tottenham supporter was nice to see our stadium without the rainbow flags.” — Tottenham fan on Instagram

🎯IMPACT: While only temporary, the move was largely celebrated by fans.

IN FULL

An LGBTQ+ flag that flew at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was taken down during the team’s Champions League match against rival soccer club Slavia Prague. The flag’s removal on “security” grounds came at the request of the Czech team, which was concerned that supporters could “damage the flag and cause disorder.”

On social media, fans of Tottenham celebrated the temporary reprieve, with one user writing, “As a Tottenham supporter was nice to see our stadium without the rainbow flags.” Another declared, “Game has never been more back.”

However, some liberal supporters complained, with one user on Instagram writing, “Bowing to a bunch of foreign guests who leave again after the game? [F]or the weak honestly. You stand for something you stand for something, whatever it is.”

Overall, the response to Tottenham’s removal of the LGBTQ+ flag appears positive. Most fans have expressed a desire to merely enjoy the game without politics being injected into it. “Good, keep political statements out of football,” one Instagram user wrote, while another said, “Why these are even allowed in football is beyond me, it’s a political cult flag.”

Notably, the escape from gender and sexual politics for these fans will be brief, with the flags likely to return after the Slavia Prague match.

ICE Accuses Dem Rep of Joining Rioters, Lying About Being Pepper-Sprayed.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) accused Representative Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ) of joining a violent mob during a bust of a transnational criminal ring and lying about being pepper-sprayed.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: U.S. Representative Adelita Grijalva, ICE agents, and over 100 leftist agitators.

📍WHEN & WHERE: December 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, and surrounding areas.

💬KEY QUOTE: “These enforcement actions have unequivocally disrupted this criminal organization’s ability to exploit our lawful labor and system of commerce.” – Acting Special Agent in Charge Ray Rede

🎯IMPACT: The operation led to the arrest of 46 individuals and highlighted tensions between activists and law enforcement.

IN FULL

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has accused Representative Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ) of taking part in a violent protest against federal agents during a large-scale enforcement action in Tucson, Arizona, that targeted a transnational criminal group and led to 46 arrests, among them a convicted sex offender.

The operation, carried out by the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Arizona unit with support from multiple federal, state, and local agencies, was intended to break up a network engaged in human smuggling, labor trafficking, and related offenses. More than 100 demonstrators reportedly interfered with the raid, assaulting officers and vandalizing property.

According to ICE, Rep. Grijalva joined the demonstrators and wrongly claimed that law enforcement had pepper-sprayed her. In recorded footage, she referred to the targeted restaurant as a community favorite and condemned ICE as a “lawless agency.”

Tensions rose further when protesters chained a gate shut in an attempt to confine agents inside the restaurant’s perimeter, prompting the deployment of an HSI Special Response Team. The operation nonetheless succeeded in disrupting the criminal network.

Acting Special Agent in Charge Ray Rede said, “These enforcement actions have unequivocally disrupted this criminal organization’s ability to exploit our lawful labor and system of commerce,” and affirmed that similar operations will continue.
