ICE Nets Over 1,300 Illegals in Two-Week DC Operation.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has arrested over 1,300 illegal immigrants in the Washington, D.C. area.

📺 DETAIL: On Monday, it was reported that ICE apprehended 1,328 illegal immigrants, including approximately 400 with prior criminal convictions, including people previously found guilty of murder, robbery, rape, and other serious crimes. The operation was conducted in the D.C. suburbs and nearby areas of Maryland and Virginia, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This follows reports that ICE has been making an average of more than 1,400 arrests per day, according to agency data. This also follows a rise in the number of ICE arrests from the low point of 954 per day in March. In January, ICE achieved an average of 1,164 arrests per day in January and 1,025 in February. Earlier in the month, ICE recorded 46,000 detentions in July, a new monthly record for the Trump administration. The D.C. operation was carried out between August 1 and August 14.
