Democrats in Illinois are pushing through radical legislation that will allow for non-U.S. citizens and illegal migrants to serve as police officers despite federal law allowing only U.S. citizens to serve as officers or police deputies. The news follows Washington D.C.’s move to weaponize non-citizens against the native public.
Illinois House Bill 3751 will come into force on January 1, 2024 if passed by Governor Pritzker. The bill permits illegal migrants who are undergoing “federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) process” to carry firearms and arrest American citizens as part of their duties, provided they are 21 years old. The measure was supported tand affirmed by the Democrat-controlled Illinois House of Representatives and State Senate.
The bill forms part of a “natural progression,” argues the primary sponsor of the bill, Democrat Representative Barbara Hernandez, who highlights the federal government’s 2021 decision to allow illegal migrants to become healthcare workers and members of the U.S. military.
Bill 3751 was one of a number of bills recently passed by the far-left billionaire Governor of Illinois. Pritzker also signed a bill that forbids landlords in the state to consider one’s immigration status when considering potential tenants.
