Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has removed all regional heads of military enlistment amid an ongoing investigation into military recruitment corruption, announcing that army veterans will become responsible for drafting new troops.
The decision comes after accusations of corruption by way of “draft evasion” among military recruiters, who were seen to be enriching themselves at the expense of the Ukrainian armed forces. There are now 112 criminal proceedings and 33 ‘suspicions’ against enlistment office officials as a result.

Zelensky – who leads the most corrupt nation in Europe, also the place the Biden family coincidentally chose to conduct business – announced the move via his official Telegram page, arguing that military enlistment “should be run by people who know exactly what war is and why cynicism and bribery during war is treason.”
Zelensky’s decision will be implemented by the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, with all appointees subject to inspections and approval by the Ukrainian Security Service.
Allegations of Ukrainian corruption have repeatedly surfaced, including veteran journalist Seymour Hersh’s claim that the Ukrainian President, along with his generals, embezzled “at least” $400 million in U.S. aid in 2022. Ukrainian corruption as well as Zelensky’s growing authoritarianism led POLITICO to report earlier this year that he could become susceptible to “another Maidan” revolution.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Richard Williams, the victim, and Bairon Hernandez, a 34-year-old Honduran national with a criminal record who had been deported multiple times.
📍WHEN & WHERE: The attack occurred on March 8 at the Lexington Avenue–63rd Street station in Manhattan, New York. Williams succumbed to his injuries on March 17.
🎯IMPACT: The incident has intensified scrutiny of New York City’s handling of public safety, immigration policy, and criminal justice enforcement.

Richard Williams, an 83-year-old Air Force veteran and grandfather, died on March 17 following a subway incident in New York City earlier in the month. Authorities say he was pushed onto the tracks at the Lexington Avenue–63rd Street station on March 8. The suspect, Bairon Hernandez, was arrested on March 10 and charged with second-degree murder.
Police allege Hernandez shoved Williams and another man, 30-year-old Jhon Rodriguez, onto the southbound F train tracks just before noon. Bystanders managed to pull both men back onto the platform before a train arrived. Williams struck his head on the tracks and lost consciousness; Rodriguez suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have described Hernandez as a “serial criminal,” citing at least 15 prior charges, including aggravated assault and weapons possession. Federal officials say he had been deported multiple times after first entering the U.S. illegally in 2008.
Williams, a retired Air Force pilot, had recently overcome prostate cancer and was described by family as having found a renewed lease on life. His daughter expressed outrage at the suspect and called for severe punishment. The medical examiner ruled his death a homicide.
The incident has renewed concerns about safety in New York City’s transit system. Reports of assaults and random attacks in subways have drawn increased public attention, with some community groups expanding volunteer patrols in response to spikes in violence. The case has also fueled debate over immigration enforcement and coordination between local and federal authorities.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The obligation of the state is to protect the lives of people, especially the most vulnerable, as is the case with a young person with mental health problems.” — Ramos’s father
🎯IMPACT: The case has sparked debate over euthanasia laws and the care of vulnerable people.
IN FULL
Noelia Castillo Ramos, a 25-year-old Spanish woman, was euthanized despite her father and friends’ efforts to prevent her killing. Ramos, who was left paraplegic after a suicide attempt following multiple sexual assaults, died at a care facility in Spain on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
Her father had sought legal intervention to stop the euthanasia, but his attempts were unsuccessful in both Spanish courts and the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). Ramos had suffered severe trauma after being raped twice, leading to substantial mental health challenges and a suicide attempt which left her with a spinal cord injury.
Her father said that the Spanish government failed her by allowing the euthanasia to proceed. “The obligation of the state is to protect the lives of people, especially the most vulnerable, as is the case with a young person with mental health problems,” Ramos’s father said.
Pro-life advocates criticized the killing, arguing that Ramos was failed by a system that did not protect her from assault and then offered death instead of care. Her friend attempted to visit her before the procedure but was denied access. Ramos’s organs were designated for donation.
Santiago Abascal, leader of Spain’s anti-mass migration VOX party, has said Ramos’s suicide attempt was prompted by a gang rape at the hands of “MENAS” (migrants from the Middle East and North Africa) while living in a center for vulnerable people. “I am deeply affected by this news. The State takes a daughter away from her parents. She is raped by MENAs. And the State’s solution is to force her to commit suicide. Sánchez’s Spain is a horror film,” he said.
However, the Spanish press has disputed this, saying she was assaulted by an ex-partner, subjected to an attempted assault by two men in a nightclub in a separate incident, and assaulted by “three men at once” who were not clearly identified, also at a nightclub, in a third incident.
The National Pulse reported in December last year that nearly 100,000 people have been euthanized under Canada’s medical assistance in dying (MAID) program. Meanwhile, that same month, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker (D) signed a bill permitting terminally ill patients to be euthanized. Known as the Illinois End-of-Life Options Act, or “Deb’s Law,” the legislation is set to take effect in September 2026.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Alen Zheng, 20, and his sister Ann Mary Zheng, 27, both face federal charges, with U.S. Attorney Gregory Kehoe overseeing the case.
📍WHEN & WHERE: The incident began on March 10, 2026, outside MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, with subsequent developments involving flights to China and an arrest in Detroit.
💬KEY QUOTE: “Why it didn’t detonate at the time is a question we’d like to ask Mr. Zheng,” said U.S. Attorney Gregory Kehoe.
🎯IMPACT: Federal officials are actively working to extradite Alen Zheng back to the United States while continuing the investigation into the motive and circumstances surrounding the incident.
IN FULL
Federal officials have announced that a 20-year-old Florida man, Alen Zheng, has fled to China after allegedly planting an explosive device outside MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. His sister, Ann Mary Zheng, 27, is now in custody, facing charges of witness tampering and acting as an accessory after the fact.
According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), on March 10, a 911 call was placed warning of a bomb near the base’s visitor center. However, an initial sweep did not find any evidence of a bomb or similar device. However, six days later, an Air Force service member discovered an improvised explosive device capable of causing harm or death. U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida Gregory Kehoe described the device as being in a secluded location near the visitors center.
“You have something in a secluded location and hidden in the visitors center, and it just took a little bit more time to get there,” Kehoe stated, adding, “If you’re going to examine our more sensitive assets on the MacDill Air Force Base, not that the visitors center isn’t an important asset, but obviously, Central Command is there.”
On Thursday, federal investigators revealed that Alen Zheng, after placing the bomb on March 10, sold the vehicle he drove to MacDill on March 11. Subsequently, both Alen Zheng and Ann Mary Zheng fled to the People’s Republic of China on March 12. However, on March 17, Ann Mary Zheng returned to the United States and was arrested in Detroit, Michigan. Evidence found at their Land O’Lakes home included items consistent with constructing the explosive device, as well as traces of explosive residue in the vehicle they sold.
Kehoe emphasized the ongoing efforts to bring Alen Zheng back to the United States, stating, “Our last notification is that he is in the People’s Republic of China, as we speak.” The motive behind the incident remains unclear, and authorities are investigating why the device did not detonate.
Meanwhile, federal officials confirmed that no charges have been filed against the Zheng siblings’ mother, who was present at the home, though she is currently in custody for deportation proceedings.
❓WHAT HAPPENED: Former Trump campaign advisor Walid Phares’s electronic communications were allegedly monitored by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) between 2017 and 2018 under a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant, mirroring the similar wiretapping of Trump foreign policy advisor Carter Page in 2016. Phares believes the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) under John Brennan was also spying on him.

Trump, including former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith and former Obama government Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) director John Brennan.

Former Trump campaign advisor Walid Phares’s electronic communications were allegedly monitored by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) between 2017 and 2018 under a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant, mirroring the similar wiretapping of Trump foreign policy advisor Carter Page in 2016. According to an FBI agent who claims to have been assigned to the investigation, the bureau—as with Page—withheld exculpatory evidence from the FISA Court in order to secure the wiretap warrant.
“I had no idea any of this was happening,” Phares said in an interview with RealClearInvestigations, adding, “This is shocking because they told my lawyer that I was only a ‘witness’ and that they just needed some information.”
The former Trump campaign advisor points to allegations that he says originated with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 2016 as being the justification used for the FISA warrant. According to Phares, the intelligence agency produced a report claiming he facilitated a $10 million bribe from the Egyptian government intended to be laundered to the Trump campaign. That allegation was investigated by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and subsequently closed after it found no evidence of wrongdoing.
Phares noted that as the first Trump administration began to take shape in 2017, he had expected to receive a high-level appointment but now believes intelligence officials opposed to his hiring used the investigation to hinder his ability to obtain a security clearance. Notably, the FBI agent assigned to monitor Phares told staff with Senator Chuck Grassley‘s (R-IA) office that “there were no corroborating facts that tied Crosswind [the codename for Phares’ case] to certain facts that we thought were originally true.”
The FBI investigation into Phares features some of the same figures that are accused of railroading Carter Page and advancing the Russia collusion hoax against President Donald J. Trump, including former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith and former Obama government CIA director John Brennan. Clinesmith is alleged to have rejected exculpatory corrections to the FISA warrant application targeting Phares made by the FBI investigators. With Page, Clinesmith pleaded guilty to having altered a CIA memo indicating that Page was a U.S. intelligence asset, instead making it appear the foreign policy advisor was a Russian agent.
A grand juryempaneled in South Florida is believed to currently be reviewing evidence against Brennan regarding his alleged orchestration of the Russia collusion hoax and potentially unlawful interference in the 2016 election and subsequent Trump administration. Phares says he believes that Brennan was likely the driving force behind the FISA wiretap targeting his communications as well.
❓WHAT HAPPENED: A cell phone belonging to Morgan McSweeney, British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s former Chief of Staff, was allegedly stolen last year, raising fears about the loss of vital communications related to Jeffrey Epstein-linked Peter Mandelson’s appointment as ambassador to the U.S. However, British police failed to investigate the high-profile theft, claiming they were “too busy,” prompting accusations of a cover-up.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The whole thing stinks of a cover-up.” – Alex Burghart
🎯IMPACT: Downing Street is now compelled to disclose all communications related to Mandelson’s appointment, despite the missing phone.
IN FULL
A cell phone owned by Morgan McSweeney, former Chief of Staff to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, was stolen last year. The device had reportedly been used to communicate with Jeffrey Epstein-linked Labour Party grandee Lord Peter Mandelson, prompting worries that sensitive details tied to Mandelson’s short time as Starmer’s ambassador to the U.S. may have been lost.
Mandelson, a central player in Labour from Tony Blair‘s premiership starting in the 1990s onwards, was ousted from his ambassador post in 2025 once his already public connections to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein received greater public attention. McSweeney, who stepped down on February 8, accepted full blame for the appointment and said: “The decision to appoint Peter Mandelson was wrong. He has damaged our party, our country, and trust in politics itself.”
Parliament recently approved a humble address motion requiring Starmer’s government to hand over all records connected to Mandelson’s appointment, including emails, texts, and reports—especially any messages between McSweeney and Mandelson. However, because the phone was supposedly stolen months before that motion passed, questions have surfaced about whether the full set of communications can be released.
Shadow Cabinet minister Alex Burghart complained, “We had to drag the Mandelson files out of Keir Starmer, and now we find the phone of his former Chief of Staff and protege of Mandelson won’t be part of the disclosure. The whole thing stinks of a cover-up.”
Even without the missing phone, some exchanges between McSweeney and Mandelson have reportedly been recovered and will be part of the upcoming document release. A government spokesman said the administration remains committed to obeying the humble address motion and is cooperating with the Metropolitan Police investigation into the theft.
The next batch of files is expected after the Easter break, following the first set released on March 11 that showed officials had been warned about Mandelson’s Epstein links and raised alarms over the rushed appointment.
Mandelson was arrested on suspicion of passing confidential information to Epstein while he was a member of former Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s government in February.

Omar could potentially face denaturalization and deportation if evidence shows she committed immigration fraud by unlawfully marrying her brother to help him secure a green card, or that she lied on her own immigration paperwork regarding allegations her father participated in war crimes in Somalia.
IN FULL
Vice President J.D. Vance confirmed the Trump administration and federal immigration agents are investigating Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) over allegations of immigration fraud. Speaking with social media personality Benny Johnson, the Vice President said he has spoken with White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller on the matter, and that federal law enforcement believes the evidence of fraud is strong.
“We actually think that Ilhan Omar definitely committed immigration fraud against the United States of America,” Vance said. “I talked to Stephen Miller about this, actually, recently. We’re trying to look at what the remedies are, that’s the thing we’re trying to figure out.”
“What are the legal remedies now that we know that she’s committed immigration fraud? How do you go after her? How do you investigate her? How do you actually do the thing, how do you build the case necessary to get some justice for the American people?” Vance asked, while noting that Omar has also been connected to a number of members of Minnesota’s Somali immigrant community implicated in billions of dollars of social services fraud.
🚨 BREAKING: VP Vance CONFIRMS the White House is going after Ilhan Omar for committing IMMIGRATION FRAUD
While Johnson focused on the widely discussed allegations that Omar—after becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen—married her own brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, so that he could obtain a green card, there are lesser-known but more serious accusations that the Minnesota lawmaker committed fraud on her own immigration and subsequent citizenship applications.
Omar’s father is Nur Omar Mohamed, who served as a colonel in the Somali military under dictator and Marxist-Leninist junta leader, Major General Siad Barre. Ethnic minority groups in Somalia have accused Barre’s junta regime of genocide, and some have pointed to Nur Omar Mohamed as having participated in the ethnic cleansing of the Somali Isaaq clan. If conclusive evidence can show that Ilhan Omar’s father committed war crimes in Somalia and this was not disclosed on her immigration and citizenship paperwork, it could be grounds for denaturalization and deportation.
The National Pulse reported in January that the Trump administration filed to denaturalize Sead Miljkovic, a Bosnian and naturalized U.S. citizen, after it was discovered he lied about his identity when attaining U.S. citizenship in 2007. Federal attorneys with the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Civil Division contend that Miljkovic concealed an arrest warrant issued against him by a Bosnian court for war crimes against civilians when applying for U.S. citizenship. Additionally, the DOJ notes that he failed to disclose using multiple names, dates, and places of birth, and listed inconsistent information about his family when he initially immigrated to the U.S.

🎯IMPACT: TSA employees will receive compensation despite the shutdown, including backpay, if the executive order sticks.
IN FULL
In response to the Senate Democrat-caused shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), President Donald J. Trump has issued an executive order attempting to ensure that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees receive their pay. The shutdown, now in its sixth week, has severely impacted America’s air travel system.
The order directs the Secretary of Homeland Security, along with the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, to utilize funds with a “reasonable logical nexus” to TSA operations to pay the over 60,000 TSA employees, including approximately 50,000 transportation security officers. These employees have been working without pay due to the shutdown, which was triggered by congressional Democrats’ demands to water down immigration enforcement.
The Senate has now passed a bill that excludes funding for deportations, but it appears dead on arrival in the House, with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) indicating the House GOP will not accept it.
“If Democrats in the Congress will not act to honor the service of our TSA officers, who are now performing their critical public safety responsibilities without knowing whether they will be able to buy food for their families or pay their rent, then my Administration will take action,” Trump’s order states, adding: “As President of the United States, I have determined that these circumstances constitute an emergency situation compromising the Nation’s security.”
Nearly 500 transportation security officers have resigned since the shutdown began, and many more have reported sick at unprecedented rates. This situation has led to excessive security wait times at airports, some reaching over many hours, causing chaos for travelers and increasing the risk of security issues amid the ongoing Iran war.

The Department of Education is set to vacate its current headquarters in Washington, D.C., which has been largely unoccupied since President Donald J. Trump reduced the agency’s workforce by half. The move to a smaller building is projected to save taxpayers $4.8 million annually, with the relocation planned for August.
Education Secretary Linda McMahon highlighted the importance of the move, stating: “One year ago, President Trump signed one of the most consequential executive orders of his presidency—to break up the federal education bureaucracy and return education to the states.”
The current Lyndon B. Johnson Building will be taken over by the Department of Energy, which will save an estimated $350 million in maintenance costs on its current building.
Under the Trump administration, the Education Department’s workforce has been reduced from approximately 4,000 employees to around 2,000, including cuts to the Office for Civil Rights and the Federal Student Aid office, with duplicate roles and inefficient redundancies eliminated. Additionally, the department has made arrangements with other Cabinet-level departments to manage some of its programs, with a recent deal transferring much of the student loan portfolio to the Treasury Department.

🎯IMPACT: AI is on track to surpass the entire written record of human civilization by the end of the decade.
IN FULL
According to data shared by ARK Invest, annual written output by artificial intelligence (AI) exceeded that of humans in 2025. This milestone indicates that AI could soon surpass the entire written record of human civilization by the end of this decade.
The data, presented in a chart, tracks written output from 1500 to 2030 on a logarithmic scale. While human output has steadily climbed over five centuries, AI output began to rise sharply around 2022, surpassing human annual output in 2025.
“We have been surpassed: AI written output exceeded human written output in 2025,” commented Ark’s Chief Futurist, Brett Winton, adding: “By the late 2020s, AI cumulative written output—every postcard, memo, whitepaper, and business-document—should be surpassed by AI. We left a written record; that record will be synthetically surpassed.”
The chart’s logarithmic scale emphasizes the rapid growth of AI output, which compresses centuries of human writing into a few years. This includes all forms of written communication, from postcards to legal briefs.
AI’s ability to generate text at unprecedented speeds, combined with its widespread use across various platforms, contributes to this massive output. The future projection suggests that AI will continue to accelerate its output, potentially surpassing all human-written records from the past 500 years.
The dominance of AI-generated content raises questions about its impact on education, culture, science, and writing as a profession.

Texas State Representative Pat Curry (R) is demanding U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) remove his name from a list of endorsements. On Thursday, Cornyn—who is trailing Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) in polls ahead of a May runoff election for the Republican senate nomination—released a new list of alleged endorsements, with Rep. Curry quick to correct the record on his support or lack thereof.
“For the record, I have not and did not endorse in this race. I made that clear when asked as recently as last week! I resent anyone assuming or speaking on my behalf! I acknowledge all of my endorsements only in writing,” Curry wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter), adding, “Please remove my name immediately!”
The false endorsement is just the latest blow to Cornyn’s reelection hopes, with President Donald J. Trump also remaining on the sidelines despite the anti-Trump incumbent’s campaign insisting the President would back his reelection. The National Pulse reported on March 15, just under two weeks after the first round of the Texas primary, that President Trump had expressed doubts over the Cornyn campaign’s insistence that the four-term incumbent was the strongest candidate. “I’ve heard that. I don’t know. I mean, I don’t know. I don’t know that to be a fact… I like both candidates very much,” Trump said. Notably, the President has yet to endorse in the race.
Over the last week, several voter surveys have shown Ken Paxton pulling ahead of Cornyn in the runoff race, leading 48.8 percent to 41.3 percent, with 9.9 percent undecided, in one poll. In another, Paxton leads Cornyn by 53 percent to 37 percent.
On Monday, top MAGA reporter Matthew Boyle, Washington Bureau Chief for Breitbart News, declared that John Cornyn—widely considered a Republican-in-Name-Only (RINO)—is “a dead man walking.” Boyle wrote, “The sense in Washington is that John Cornyn is a dead man walking politically speaking, barring some random miracle like a significant overperformance in the runoff or some last-second super hardcore Trump endorsement that at this stage does not appear to be coming ever.”
