President Joe Biden made a bizarre display in front of gathered media in Vietnam when he leaned in and gave a memorial dedicated to Senator John McCain a long, kiss. Biden made the stop while en route back to the United States following his appearance at the G20 summit in India.

The kissing incident caps off a series of bizarre moments during Biden’s overseas trip. While giving a press conference in Hanoi, Vietnam, Biden in a moment of confusion shuffled through is notes saying, “I’ll just follow my orders here. Staff, is there anybody that hasn’t spoken yet?” When the media began shouting additional questions, the President angrily snapped, “I ain’t calling on you.”

Later in the press conference, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre abruptly interrupted Biden while he was incoherently describing a conversation he had with Premier Li Qiang at the G20, stating, “Thank you everybody. This ends the press conference.” Before Biden’s microphone was cut off, the President declared, “I don’t know about you, but I’m going to go to bed.”
While in India for the G20 summit late last week, President Biden said that he does not intend to contain China – a country whose recent aggressive actions have drawn increasing concern from its neighbors, and U.S. allies, such as the Philippines and Japan.
