Aronofsky is highly regarded for his psychologically intense and often surrealist filmmaking style, with noteworthy projects such as “Requiem for a Dream,” “Black Swan,” and “Mother!” under his belt. The screenplay for this biopic will be grounded in the authorized biography of Musk penned by Walter Isaacson, who also wrote “Steve Jobs,” which was adapted by Universal into a namesake 2015 film starring Michael Fassbender.
