Far-left lawyer, author, and MSNBC commentator Tristan Snell is grifting off the former Republican Representative George Santos (R-N.Y.) to sell a book on former President Donald Trump.
Snell – a former New York Assistant Attorney General and key figure involved in the Trump University case – commissioned a video from Santos and manipulated the content to resemble a direct conversation with the congressman, who was recently expelled from the House for allegedly misusing campaign funds.
The clip starts with Santos acknowledging Snell’s legal skills and perceived support for the nation, with Snell responding in kind, alluding that Santos might soon hear “guilty as charged.”
Additionally, Santos encouraged Snell to complete the work after Snell led him to believe he was writing a book on the Constitution. He, however, revealed his actual publication, “Taking Down Trump,” before offering to autograph a copy for Santos. The author then took the opportunity to market his book further by encouraging his audience to buy it before it gets “banned in certain states.”
Snell would have paid anywhere between $150 t0 $200 for the Santos cameo. It is uncertain whether enough people will buy the book to reimburse the costs of the clip.
