Infamous left-wing firebrand George Galloway, now of the “Workers Party of Great Britain,” has emerged victorious in the Rochdale special election (by election).
Galloway gave his victory speech by directly challenging Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer and addressing the Middle East crisis, stating, “Keir Starmer, this is for Gaza! You have paid and you will pay a high price for the role you have played in enabling, encouraging and covering for the catastrophe presently going on in occupied Palestine in the Gaza Strip.”
Galloway is best known in the U.S. for his cozying up to Saddam Hussein in the 1990s, as well as his heated debate with the late Christopher Hitchens.
Galloway has made no attempts to mask his pro Islamist, sectarian politics. He has worked for the Muslim vote for decades, realizing a number of victories over the past several decades. He will now take up a seat in the British Parliament.
