Former White House aide to the Trump administration, Dr. Peter Navarro, has been told to report to prison on March 19 to commence a four-month jail sentence. The ruling comes as a result of his conviction by the Biden regime on two counts of congressional contempt after he resisted a subpoena from the hyper-partisan, extremist-led House committee on January 6, 2021.
The former Trump advisor has been appealing for a stay of his sentence while he contests his conviction in the federal appeals court. Navarro’s attorney revealed in a legal document late Sunday that “Dr. Navarro has now been ordered to report to the custody of the Bureau of Prisons, FCI Miami, on or before 2:00PM EDT on March 19, 2024,” as reported by POLITICO.
Navarro, however, is not backing down. His attorney has submitted a reiteration of the request for an administrative stay, further writing: “Should this Court deny Dr. Navarro’s motion, he respectfully requests an administrative stay so as to permit the Supreme Court review of this Court’s denial.”
