Former UK paratrooper Franc Milburn claims a unique unit of the UK special forces recovered a downed ‘non-human’ craft in the late 1980s. A member of the MI6-run unit that conducted the alleged operation, referred to as ‘John,’ supposedly disclosed the information to Milburn, who also alleges he conversed with UK Royal Air Force personnel who chased disc-shaped unidentified flying objects (UFOs) that exhibited hypersonic speeds.
The reported unit, known as ‘E Squadron,’ specialized in covert operations and consisted of operators from the UK’s most elite Special Forces units, including the Special Air Service (SAS). Milburn said that the mission had been to secure and retrieve a craft that was downed in the north of England. ‘John’ informed him that the craft appeared non-human and that there were signs of occupants that had fled the scene. Afterward, Milburn contends that the operation was handed over to scientists and technicians.
Although the claims lack concrete proof, Milburn remains staunch in his belief of ‘John’s’ testament, citing his credibility and past military service. Despite these intriguing claims, the UK Ministry of Defence indicated it had no knowledge of salvage operations involving materials of unexplained origin.
Additionally, a 2000 UK intelligence report confirmed the existence of ‘Unexplained Aerial Phenomena’ (UAP) but denied any unauthorized incursions by UFOs into UK airspace.
In the United States, public interest in UFOs/UAP has increased since the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a report on the dangers posed by UAP in 2021.
