Homicides Hit 15-Year High In Bowser’s DC, Shootings Skyrocket

Under Mayor Muriel Bowser’s reign, Washington D.C. has seen homicides hit a 15-year high and shootings spike.

Homicides in the national’s capital rose for a third consecutive year in 2020, pushing on 200 residents killed for the first time since the previous decade. The city’s total number of killings in 2020 was 198 – the deadliest year since 2004.

What’s more, Bowser’s D.C. counted over 920 people shot, which constitutes a 64 percent increase from three years ago.

As the Washington Post notes, the “victims of deadly violence include a beloved school bus driver, a construction worker killed while renovating a home and a grandmother who survived covid-19. A little boy was fatally shot at a “stop the violence” cookout, and a toddler was killed by gunfire as he was strapped in a car seat.”

Meanwhile, the city’s Democratic mayor is keen on using taxpayer dollars to paint streets with “Black Lives Matter” insignia and closing down the city’s businesses – while opening up her real estate and public school system to the Chinese Communist Party.
