Boeing Abandons DEI Policies Amid Ongoing Safety Concerns.

Aerospace giant Boeing has decided to disband its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) department, according to a report by anti-DEI activist Christopher Rufo. Rufo announced the development last Thursday on X (formerly Twitter), suggesting that internal pressures might have influenced the new CEO’s decision to shut down the department. Rufo had previously criticized Boeing’s DEI strategy, arguing that it was diminishing competence within the company.

Bloomberg News confirmed the restructuring, noting that staff from the DEI office will merge with another human resources team focusing on talent and employee experience. Sara Liang Bowen, the Boeing vice president responsible for the former DEI department, left the company in conjunction with departmental changes.

Boeing has seen a slew of scandals in recent years relating to the safety of their aircraft. The Boeing 737 Max has seen several crashes, including two that occurred within months of each other in Indonesia and Ethiopia, killing a total of 346 people.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)  identified a serious fault in 292 Boeing 777 aircraft earlier this year, noting that the faults could lead the planes’s engines to explode in mid-air flight.

Sam Salehpour, a Boeing engineer, warned the United States Senate in April that it was only a matter of time before a major aviation disaster occurred as aircraft were not being constructed to proper requirements.

Virginia Schools Quietly Pull LGBTQ Book Over Explicit Content Debate.

Fairfax County Public Schools in Northern Virginia has discreetly removed the book Queer: A Graphic History by Meg-John Barker from their libraries following criticism from parents over its sexually explicit content. Parental outcry centered on the book’s graphic depiction of, in some cases, extreme sex acts, prompting questions regarding its suitability for young students.

Stacy Langton, a parent at Fairfax High School, expressed surprise at the quiet removal of the book. She noted that the action may influence upcoming elections, referencing President Donald J. Trump only narrowing trailing Vice President Kamala Harris in the state.

Virginia has been a focal point in discussions about parental influence in educational content since the 2021 gubernatorial race. Republican Glenn Youngkin‘s victory over former Governor Terry McAuliffe (D-VA) was partly attributed to debates over parental rights, with McAuliffe’s remarks about parental involvement in school decisions stirring controversy.

Langton, who has been vocal in school board meetings, criticized Queer: A Graphic History for its depiction of sexual practices deemed inappropriate for school libraries. She also raised concerns about another book, Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe, for similar reasons.

According to Noël Klimenko from the school district’s Instructional Services Department, the decision to remove Barker’s book was due to outdated terminology rather than a formal challenge. FCPS libraries opted for resources offering more current perspectives on LGBTQ+ history.

Previously, FCPS temporarily removed Gender Queer and Lawn Boy by Jonathan Evison but reinstated them after committee reviews. Despite the committees’ conclusions that these books did not constitute pornography, Langton plans to renew her challenge to Gender Queer.

The school district has not publicly commented on these developments. Langton insists that materials containing explicit content should not be in schools, citing federal obscenity laws.

POLL DATA: No One Cares About the Puerto Rico Joke.

A joke about Puerto Rico made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at President Donald J. Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally has not affected Hispanic support for the America First leader in Pennsylvania. A poll conducted by Cygnal indicates no shift among Hispanic voters in the state.

Brent Buchanan, a pollster with Cygnal, stated that Puerto Ricans—among the demographics least likely to support Republican candidates—are not expected to change their voting intentions due to Hinchcliffe’s comments. The data shows no alteration in overall Hispanic voter preferences since the event.

“The comments are less likely to sway Puerto Rican votes toward Trump and more likely to energize opposition,” Buchanan acknowledged. However, he stressed again that these voters were not likely Republican supporters to begin with.

Following the media frenzy around Hinchcliffe’s joke, Shadow Senator for Puerto Rico Zoraida Buxó endorsed Trump at a Pennsylvania rally.

Trump has seen a surge of support among Hispanics across the United States during the 2024 presidential campaign. Maria Hinojosa, a host on the publicly funded broadcaster NPR, bizarrely suggested that many Hispanics were supporting Trump because they “want to be white” last month.

Hinojosa also admitted that the Hispanic support for Trump over Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris could cost the current Vice President next week’s election.

Polling reveals that immigration could be a major factor in the surge in support for Trump. A survey released in June suggested that around two-thirds of Hispanics across America want to see illegal immigrants deported.

Under the Biden-Harris regime, millions of illegals have flooded into the country. President Trump has promised large-scale deportations if he is reelected.

Top Dem Advisor Grifts Millions Promoting ‘Re-Segregation.’

A black nationalist and advisor to Governor Josh Shapiro (D-PA) has pulled in $20 million from nonprofit groups, the government, and grantmakers while promoting the re-segregation of public schools. Sharif El-Mekki, a member of the Iranian-aligned Black Panther Party, has made a name using his nonprofit group—the Center for Black Educator Development (CBED)—to push for an education policy where “all black students are taught by high-quality, same-race teachers.”

Additionally, El-Mekki says he envisions enacting requirements that “all teachers demonstrate high levels of expertise in anti-racist mindsets.” In 2022, he served on the Education and Workforce Advisory Committee, which was part of Gov. Shaprio‘s transition team.

TRAINING RADICAL EDUCATORS.

CBED has become one of the forefront groups in training educators across the U.S., focusing on “education activism.” In essence, the group pushes teachers to promote radical political agendas that advance the ideological aims of far-left activists and would-be left-wing revolutionaries. Founded by El-Mekki in 2019, CBED publishes a teaching manual entitled ‘The Anti-Racist Guide to Teacher Retention,’ co-developed with the Pennsylvania Department of Education under Gov. Shapiro.

The guide defines public education as “a political act” and instructs educators on how they “can upend white supremacy and a racist history of using education as an oppressive social force.” According to the CBED and Pennsylvania government publication, “Every lesson plan is a political document, and every classroom interaction a political statement.”

IRANIAN & CORPORATE TIES.

El-Mekki’s views on education appear to be highly influenced by his upbringing in a so-called “freedom school” run by the radical Black Panther organization. His mother, a Mulsim convert, later moved El-Mekki and the family to Iran so that they could be raised under the guidance of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. The young El-Mekki was subsequently instructed in Iran‘s Islamic education system.

The CBED and El-Mekki—who has been praised by anti-white and anti-Semitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan—currently have around $19.5 in assets, with even the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation having contributed $1.4 million to the group in 2020 and 2021. Other financial backers of CBED include NBC Universal, Nike, the Bezos Family Foundation, the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Education.

Stanley Kubrick’s Daughter Says He Would Have Backed Trump.

Vivian Kubrick, daughter of the late and legendary filmmaker Stanley Kubrick, claims that her father would endorse President Donald J. Trump if he were alive today. The remarks were spurred by Democrat backlash to the Trump campaign’s use of footage from her father’s film Full Metal Jacket in a video advocating against a “woke” military.

“I agree in principle that an anti-war movie is incongruous with promoting the idea of a tough non-woke US military and thus war itself – however – these are very dangerous and strange times and thus using this footage is doubtless pure expedience,” Vivian Kubrick wrote. “I’m sure the irony of using FMJ footage is not lost on Trump or his team – Trump is always seeking to end wars and use peaceful methods,” she continued.

“However, that’s primarily what FMJ is about, the shocking and complicated paradoxes of human nature…. so I’m going to stick with the idea that FMJ footage was used primarily because of its powerful, realistic portrayal of boot camp, juxtaposed with the entirely demoralizing and inappropriate injection of WOKE ideology into the USA military. Which I agree with myself and which I’m certain my father would have agreed with,” she said.

In addition to surmising that her father would have backed Trump, she noted that, while he was alive, he was a fan of Ronald Reagan. Reiterating that Stanley Kubrick would likely have been a Trump supporter if he were still alive, his daughter added: “My father had a great respect for life… So on that basis, I feel very confident he would be a Trump supporter and would forgive using FMJ incongruously…Capisce?”

Govt Official Placed on Leave After Trying to Hire on Merit Over Identity.

An Oregon state official is being placed on administrative leave following a complaint filed by a former Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training staffer, who alleges the suspended official prioritized hiring based on qualifications over considerations of race and gender. Mike Shaw, the state’s deputy forester, is accused of ignoring DEI chief Megan Donecker’s demand that the hiring process incorporate an intersectional approach, which she claims would consider the historical oppression of candidates’ ancestors.

Donecker, a white woman who has since resigned from her DEI role in the forestry department, cited an environment where six “queer” employees reportedly felt unsafe due to a lack of discussion around personal pronouns. The DEI chief, who describes herself as an “accomplice to marginalized communities,” claims Shaw left her off of important meeting notices in an attempt to circumvent her attempts to change hiring practices.

She described Shaw’s stance on identity-based hiring as dismissive, likening his approach to “a speeding car on an icy road”—a metaphor suggesting potential recklessness in ignoring DEI principles. According to Donecker, Shaw replied to her icy road metaphor stating: “We don’t go 60 [mph] out of the gate, or we’re gonna crash the car.”

Shaw’s leave is part of an ongoing investigation into the complaint. Meanwhile, Donecker has transitioned to a new role with Oregon’s Department of Early Learning and Care, working as an “Equity Trainer” and “Education Coordinator.”

Numerous major American corporations have abandoned their DEI programs in recent months, driven by a combination of investor backlash and a drop in productivity among DEI hires.

Just 16 States Will Celebrate Columbus Day Today.

According to state administrative and human resources websites, only 16 states and American Samoa are celebrating Columbus Day as an official public holiday. In various states, the day has been rebranded as Indigenous Peoples’ Day, in deference to the leftist narrative that Christopher Columbus should be regarded as a villain rather than a hero.

California has previously marked Columbus Day as Indigenous Peoples’ Day through gubernatorial proclamations despite not designating it as an official public holiday. Vermont, Maine, and New Mexico renamed the holiday Indigenous Peoples’ Day in 2019 and maintain it as an official holiday.

Some states and territories recognize the day under multiple identities. Nebraska and Rhode Island acknowledge it as both Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples’ Day. The U.S. Virgin Islands emphasize Virgin Islands-Puerto Rico Friendship Day on the same date, and Alabama observes it as Columbus Day, American Indian Heritage Day, and Fraternal Day simultaneously.

Distinct regional adaptations are also present. South Dakota has celebrated Native American Day on this day since 1990, and Puerto Rico observes it as Día de la Raza, or ‘Day of the [Hispanic] Race.’

Colorado replaced Columbus Day with a holiday honoring Frances Xavier Cabrini, the Italian-American founder of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in 2020.

Columbus is the most prominent Italian celebrated in the U.S., chiefly for his discovery of the Americas in 1492—Leif Erikson notwithstanding—and has long been a source of pride for Italian Americans. Statues of Columbus are regularly targeted by far-left activists who believe Europeans’ settlement of the New World was a bad thing, with Italian Americans stepping forward to restore them.

In recent days, the media have begun pushing claims Columbus was actually a Spanish Jew, not an Italian.

Biden-Harris Govt Defies Congress, Blows $1.5M on Foreign LGBTQ Initiatives.

The Biden-Harris government is bypassing Congress to push its progressive LGBTQ agenda abroad despite a congressional freeze on the controversial spending. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) plans to allocate $1.5 million of taxpayer money to LGBTQ initiatives in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Sources say that, despite a congressional committee putting a hold on this spending package, USAID is proceeding regardless. Such an act of defiance is rare, with federal agencies generally recognizing Congress’ constitutional “power of the purse.”

The USAID initiative includes funding to litigate against countries in Latin America and the Caribbean if they are accused of discriminating against LGBTQ people, meaning nations known for strong Catholic and Christian traditions could face expensive legal battles funded by U.S. taxpayer dollars.

The $1.5 million allocation is part of a broader $6.5 million global initiative supporting LGBTQ causes. Critics argue that this is another instance of the Biden-Harris government funneling public funds into leftist social causes. Many lawmakers have expressed outrage at the spending, especially in a time of economic uncertainty.

USAID’s $45 billion budget for 2024 has been criticized for wasteful and untracked spending, and there are concerns that some funds are ending up in the hands of America’s adversaries.

Insect Attack by Militant Trannies Disrupts ‘LGB Alliance’ Conference.

Militant transgender activists released insects to disrupt a conference of lesbians, gays, and bisexuals who are critical of transgender ideology, leading to the evacuation of the event venue. Security detained several individuals following an incident at the UK LGB Alliance conference in London on Friday, October 11.

The event, featuring transgender critical gay and lesbian speakers, was disrupted by a group of activists who released insects in the venue. Authorities responded quickly, and conference attendees were temporarily relocated to the lobby.

Four individuals linked to the disruption were taken into custody, though it is suspected that several others evaded capture. Though not all of the attackers are confirmed to be transgender, several activists seemed to present themselves as such.

The LGB Alliance, a charity focused on supporting gay, lesbian, and bisexual individuals, without transgenderism stealing focus, organized the ‘Our Lives! Our Future!’ conference where the attack took place.

Attacks on those opposed to transgender ideology are no longer uncommon in the Western world. For instance, in France, pro-trans activists set off an explosive device in Lyon to disrupt a talk by feminist and trans-critical activist Marguerite Stern in September.

In the United States, radical transgenders like Audrey Hale in Tennesee have gone further. Hale murdered six people, most of them children, at a Christian school in 2023.

Another transgender attempted a mass shooting at a church in Houston earlier this year.

‘Spice Girl’ Campaigns for Bizarre New Emoji.

Melanie ‘Mel B’ Brown, a former Spice Girls member, is advocating for the introduction of Afro-hair emojis on digital devices worldwide. The call comes from a campaign led by Rise 365, a youth-driven organization, which complains that out of nearly 4,000 existing emojis, none depict hairstyles commonly worn by black or mixed-race individuals. The group is urging the Unicode Consortium, the entity responsible for deciding emoji distribution globally, to expand its range of symbols.

On social media, Bown is encouraging the public to search for “Afro Hair” online to raise awareness for the campaign. “The proposed emojis we’re hoping to get on our phones soon: Afro, Locs, Waves & Braids,” she explained, adding: “You can help by searching ‘Afro Hair’ on Google as manyyyyyy times as possible before [the] end of the month so we can bring change to our phones.”

The initiative coincides with Black History Month in the United Kingdom.

Joyclen Brodie-Mends Buffong, founder of Rise 365, claims Afro-hair emojis are required to address so-called “texturism,” which refers to prejudice against kinkier, tightly curled hair. The campaign seeks to initiate broader discussions about alleged Afro-hair discrimination and catalyze change, starting with emojis.

The Unicode Consortium had recently announced the addition of new emojis, such as a tired face and a leafless tree, but none included Afro hair. Designs for four new Afro hair emojis, created by Rise 365, are set to be submitted for consideration in April.
