Kamala Blames Everyone But Herself for Landslide 2024 Election Loss.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Former Vice President Kamala Harris is blaming nearly every top Democrat leader—except herself—for her disastrous 2024 presidential campaign in a new memoir, 107 Days.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Kamala Harris, former President Joe Biden, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA), Pete Buttigieg, and others in the Democratic Party.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The memoir, released Tuesday, September 23, 2025, recounts the 107 days leading up to her landslide electoral defeat at the hands of President Donald J. Trump, along with flashbacks to key moments in her political career.

💬KEY QUOTE: “They hide you away for four years, give you impossible, s**t jobs… and still they have to ask if we’re loyal?” – Doug Emhoff, Harris’s husband.

🎯IMPACT: The book serves as both a defense of Harris’s campaign and a potential prelude to future political aspirations.

IN FULL

Kamala Harris’s new memoir, 107 Days, released on Tuesday, lays the blame for the former Democratic vice president’s landslide 2024 presidential campaign defeat on nearly every top Democratic Party leader—other than herself. The book, structured around the 107 days between Harris being selected to replace former President Joe Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket to her landslide electoral loss to President Donald J. Trump, acts less as a mea culpa than an attempt at revisionist history, portraying Harris as a victim of circumstance and Democrat infighting.

Harris does not shy away from placing blame on others, including Biden, whom she claims severely hindered her chances. According to Harris, Biden’s late decision not to run and his comments about Trump supporters being “garbage” were detrimental. Her husband, Doug Emhoff, echoed her frustrations, stating, “They hide you away for four years, give you impossible, s**t jobs… never fight back when you’re attacked, never praise your accomplishments… and still they have to ask if we’re loyal?”

Prominent figures like Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) are not spared Harris’s wrath, either. “I supported Joe because he was the strongest voice for the working class. Please focus on the working class, not just on abortion,” Sanders advised Harris—a point she ignored, insisting “reproductive rights” was a key wedge issue for Democrats. Meanwhile, Harris slams the lack of support from other powerful Democrats like Governor Newsom. “Hiking. Will call back,” Harris recalls Newsom responding in a text when she reached out asking for his help.

Harris goes on to lament the lack of talent among those considered to be her running mate, claiming Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) was overly ambitious and interacted poorly with her staff. Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), according to Harris, was too anti-union to make the cut, while Pete Buttigieg was too gay. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) was eventually picked since he posed the least political threat to Harris in the long term.

Kamala Confirms Walz Was a Diversity Hire, Wanted Buttigieg.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Failed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has revealed Pete Buttigieg was her first choice for running mate but deemed it “too big of a risk.”

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, and Tim Walz.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Excerpt from Harris’s upcoming book 107 Days, set to release September 23.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Part of me wanted to say, Screw it, let’s just do it. But knowing what was at stake, it was too big of a risk.” – Kamala Harris

🎯IMPACT: Harris ultimately chose Tim Walz as her running mate, losing to President Donald J. Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance in the election.

IN FULL

Pete Buttigieg was former Vice President Kamala Harris‘s “first choice” to be her running mate in the 2024 presidential election. The choice of Buttigieg—the homosexual former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, McKinsey consultant, former Secretary of Transportation, and Naval Reserve intelligence officer—was revealed in a newly released excerpt from Harris’s upcoming book, 107 Days, which recalls her disastrous presidential campaign.

Despite Harris’s preference for Buttigieg, she settled on Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) instead, concluding that Buttigieg “was too big of a risk.” Harris wrote that Buttigieg, “would have been an ideal partner—if I were a straight white man.” She added, “But we were already asking a lot of America: to accept a woman, a Black woman, a Black woman married to a Jewish man.”

“Part of me wanted to say, Screw it, let’s just do it. But knowing what was at stake, it was too big of a risk,” Harris wrote. “And I think Pete also knew that—to our mutual sadness.” Harris and Walz, effectively a straight white male diversity hire, went on to lose the 2024 presidential election in a landslide to President Donald J. Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance in November.

The excerpt also revealed that Buttigieg initially led Harris’s vetting list for running mates. Harris described him as “a sincere public servant with the rare talent of being able to frame liberal arguments in a way that makes it possible for conservatives to hear them.” She added, “I love Pete. I love working with Pete. He and his husband, Chasten, are friends.”

It is unclear whether Harris’s vetting of Buttigieg uncovered the former Transportation Secretary‘s ties to Patrick Wojahn, a former Democrat mayor of College Park, Maryland, who was sentenced in 2023 to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to dozens of charges relating to the possession of child pornography. The 30-year sentence (150 in total with 120 years suspended) comes after Wojahn reached an agreement with prosecutors, pleading guilty in August to 140 counts related to the possession and distribution of materials depicting child sexual abuse.

Kamala Now Says Biden Was ‘Reckless’ to Seek Re-Election, Claims She Was ‘Hypnotized.’

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Former Vice President Kamala Harris criticized the Democratic Party’s decision to leave former President Joe Biden’s reelection bid up to his discretion, calling it “recklessness” in her new book.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Jill Biden, and the Bidens’ inner circle.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Harris’s comments appear in her new book 107 Days, to be released on September 23, 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Was it grace, or was it recklessness? In retrospect, I think it was recklessness.” – Kamala Harris

🎯IMPACT: Harris’s remarks mark a rare public critique of Biden’s campaign decisions and highlight ongoing internal tensions within the Democratic Party.

IN FULL

Former Vice President Kamala Harris has described the decision to allow then-President Joe Biden to determine whether to seek reelection in 2024 as “recklessness,” according to an excerpt from her new book, 107 Days, published in The Atlantic. Harris reflects on the discussions surrounding Biden’s decision to run for a second term, stating, “Was it grace, or was it recklessness? In retrospect, I think it was recklessness.”

“‘It’s Joe and Jill’s decision.’ We all said that, like a mantra, as if we’d all been hypnotized,” Harris wrote.

Biden, who was 81 at the time, eventually dropped out of the race in July 2024 following a catastrophic debate performance against Donald J. Trump, in which he appeared cognitively impaired. This resulted in Harris being installed as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee without a primary contest. She ultimately lost the election in a landslide to Trump, who became only the second American in the country’s history to serve two non-consecutive terms in office.

Harris criticized the Democrats’ decision-making process, writing, “This wasn’t a choice that should have been left to an individual’s ego, an individual’s ambition. It should have been more than a personal decision.” Nevertheless, Harris continues to defend Biden’s ability to govern in the book, despite acknowledging his struggles with fatigue during the campaign.

She writes, “On his worst day, he was more deeply knowledgeable, more capable of exercising judgment, and far more compassionate than Donald Trump on his best. But at 81, Joe got tired. That’s when his age showed in physical and verbal stumbles.” She attributes his debate challenges to exhaustion from a demanding travel schedule.

Harris also accuses Biden’s inner circle of fueling negative narratives about her tenure as Vice President, including stories about her office being in disarray. She claims the then-President’s staff was “adding fuel to negative narratives” and even sought to diminish her success, citing an instance where the Biden White House was displeased with a speech she gave in Selma, Alabama, that went viral. “I was castigated for, apparently, delivering it too well,” Harris writes.

The book underscores Harris’s belief that her success would have reflected positively on Biden, particularly given concerns about his age. “My success was important for him,” she writes. “His team didn’t get it.”

Top Democrats HOPED Biden Would Die in Office, Claims New Book.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: A new book claims that top Democrats prepared for scenarios where President Joe Biden might exit the 2024 election race or potentially pass away in office.

👥 Who’s Involved: Former President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, communications director Jamal Simmons, former President Barack Obama, President Donald J. Trump, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

📍 Where & When: The United States, with preparations beginning in 2023 as detailed in Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes’ book.

💬 Key Quote: “It shows what we had to do to prepare with the unique circumstances we had, which was an 80-plus-year-old who was running,” an anonymous Democratic official said in the book.

⚠️ Impact: Biden’s exit led to Harris becoming the Democratic nominee, but their ticket lost to Trump in the election.

IN FULL:

Top Democratic leaders reportedly crafted contingency plans as early as 2023 for President Joe Biden to potentially exit the 2024 election race or plans should he pass away during his tenure, according to allegations in an upcoming book by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes. The book, “Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” outlines secret meetings among senior figures meant to prepare for various scenarios, including Biden stepping aside or being unable to continue due to health issues.

Jamal Simmons, communications director for then-Vice President Kamala Harris, led these discussions, drawing up various plans to ensure the party was prepared for any eventuality. Among these plans was reportedly a “death-pool roster” of judges ready to swear Harris into office if necessary. These plans were not disclosed to Harris before Simmons left in January 2023, but he advised that he should be informed immediately if Biden’s circumstances changed.

According to Allen and Parnes, “‘One official involved in secret talks put a fine point on the fear that Biden would not make it to election day as the party’s nominee: “It shows what we had to do to prepare with the unique circumstances we had, which was an 80-plus-year-old who was running.”‘

The book alleges that concerns about Biden’s mental fitness became starkly evident during the June 2024 debate with then-Republican nominee Donald J. Trump. This prompted senior Democrats, including former President Barack Obama and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, to encourage Biden to step down. On July 21, Biden announced his withdrawal from the race, endorsing Harris as his successor.

Despite stepping down, Biden requested unwavering loyalty from Harris, advising her to maintain public alignment with him. The book notes that during Harris’s debate preparation, an advisor dissuaded her from recounting accomplishments from her and Biden’s administration, leading to internal tensions.

Following Biden’s withdrawal, the Democratic campaign struggled. Harris’s campaign, supported by David Plouffe, attributed their electoral challenges partly to Biden’s delayed exit, which hindered proper primary processes. Ultimately, the Harris-Walz ticket lost all swing states to Trump, resulting in a significant electoral defeat and marking the first Democratic loss of the popular vote since 2004.

Paramount Seeks Settlement in Trump’s $10B Lawsuit.

Paramount, owner of CBS, is looking to settle a $10 billion lawsuit from President Donald J. Trump over deceptive edits of an interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris last year. The dispute centers on Trump’s complaints that a broadcast of an interview with Harris, his former electoral rival, was extensively and deceptively edited to make her look better.

The talks coincide with Paramount’s ongoing efforts to merge with Skydance Media, which is owned by Larry Ellison and managed by David Ellison. The proposed merger could face regulatory hurdles from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Trump’s lawsuit seeks $10 billion in damages, alleging “election interference” due to what he describes as “deceptively doctored” footage. The issue arose from a segment in a 60 Minutes interview for the 2024 election campaign last October.

A version aired on Face the Nation portrayed Harris differently than in the full interview, with a completely different answer to a particular question being aired. 60 Minutes defended the editing process, stating that their selection featured a longer excerpt of Harris’ response than the one shown in the main program. This is untrue, however, as the response aired by CBS was entirely different from the long, rambling answer in the first clip released by the company, which was also not included in the written transcript of the interview.

Attorney Edward Andrew Paltzik, who represents President Trump, argues that the edit was intended to confuse voters and portray Harris in a more favorable light.

Shari Redstone, Paramount’s majority shareholder, reportedly supports the settlement talks and could benefit financially from a sale of the company.

DOJ Ends Suit Against Virginia for Removing Noncitizens from Voter Rolls.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is withdrawing its lawsuit against Virginia, initially filed by the Biden government, seeking to bar the removal of noncitizens from the Commonwealth’s voter rolls. The move comports with a number of recent legal filings ramping down the Biden government’s lawfare actions following President Donald J. Trump’s inauguration on January 20.

The lawsuit was initiated in October following Virginia’s efforts to exclude approximately 1,600 individuals identified as potential non-citizens from its voter rolls. A federal judge had previously mandated Virginia reverse this decision and reinstate those individuals onto the voter lists. However, the U.S. Supreme Court later intervened by lifting the federal judge’s injunction, effectively allowing Virginia to proceed with its maintenance program for the voter registration rolls.

This ruling enabled the state to continue its policy of excluding non-citizens from voter eligibility, aligning state and federal law.

The Department of Justice’s recent decision to dismiss its lawsuit signals an acceptance of the current legal position outlined by the Supreme Court. Without this federal case hanging over it, Virginia is now free to maintain its voter roll practices as currently implemented.

During the 2024 election, The National Pulse documented numerous instances of noncitizens unlawfully casting ballots in American state and federal elections. Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress attempted to close several legal loopholes by advancing the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act but were blocked by the then-Democrat-controlled Senate.

Planned Parenthood Chapter Faces IRS Complaint Over Alleged Harris Campaign Offer.

A chapter of the abortionist organization Planned Parenthood could face having its tax-exempt status stripped after it was revealed they allowed members of the Kamala Harris presidential campaign to use their premises as a workspace. The claims were made in a complaint submitted in December to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) by 40 Days for Life, a prominent pro-life organization. The complaint alleges “potentially prohibited political activities” that could affect Planned Parenthood Florida’s tax-exempt status.

In an interview, Shawn Carney, CEO of 40 Days for Life, stated that his organization has witnessed numerous violations by Planned Parenthood due to their presence at abortion facilities nationwide. Carney claimed the Sarasota office provided promotional materials and space for the Democratic campaign, an activity not permitted under the 501(c)(3) status.

Planned Parenthood Florida has not responded to the allegations. Carney noted the distribution of materials promoting events like “Tim Walz Tuesdays,” emphasizing it as a clear violation due to its exclusion of Republican candidates. The 42-page IRS complaint also criticizes Planned Parenthood’s deviation from permissible lobbying, highlighting instances of campaign staffers photographed entering the Sarasota facility.

Last summer, a separate complaint was filed by Carney’s group regarding a mobile abortion bus operated by Planned Parenthood, which was in proximity to the Democratic National Convention (DNC).

The complaint is just the latest case of potential wrongdoing by Planned Parenthood, which has also been accused of trading the corpses of aborted babies to the University of California San Diego (UCSD) in exchange for royalties from their research.

Elon Musk’s $1M Election Giveaway Went to a Campaign Worker.

During the 2024 presidential campaign, tech billionaire Elon Musk offered a $1 million prize for those who signed an online petition. The winner, however, appears to be a Michigan man who actually worked on President-elect Donald J. Trump’s campaign.

The prize was awarded to Tyler VanAkin from Reading, Michigan. Musk funded the contest through America PAC, a pro-Trump super PAC, and it was designed to distribute daily cash rewards of up to $1 million to voters in swing states. Participants needed to sign an online petition in support of free speech and gun rights.

Initially thought to be random, the selection process came under legal scrutiny when it was revealed it was not a ‘lottery.’ Philadelphia County District Attorney Larry Krasner filed a lawsuit against Musk and America PAC, describing the initiative as an illegal lottery. Judge Angelo Foglietta, however, allowed the contest to proceed in Pennsylvania, ruling that the giveaway did not fulfill the legal criteria of a lottery since winners were not chosen at random.

Testimony from the PAC’s treasurer revealed that winners were chosen through a multi-step selection process. Musk’s attorneys explained that winners were assessed based on their “suitability” to serve as spokesmen for the PAC, as opposed to being lucky lottery winners.

The last winner, VanAkin, is linked to the Trump campaign. Financial records indicate he received significant payments for his role in preparing Trump’s campaign events. He was paid over $14,200 for his work as a consultant and more than $16,300 for travel reimbursements.

VanAkin also attended campaign events, including Trump’s election night event in West Palm Beach, Florida. America PAC’s year-end filing lists VanAkin’s $1 million payment on November 12, 2024, as compensation for being a “spokesperson consultant.”

Even CNN is Openly Mocking Joe Biden Over His Latest Election Claim.

Lame-duck President Joe Biden‘s insistence that he could have defeated President-elect Donald J. Trump in the 2024 presidential election is “absolutely bonkers,” according to data guru Harry Enten. In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter), the CNN analyst breaks down just how far Biden trailed Trump when the 82-year-old Democrat announced he would exit the race in late July—noting that polling data in no way reflects the claim.

“Based on the polling data, I categorize Biden’s statement that he could have beaten Trump as ‘flat out bonkers,'” Enten states on X. He adds: “Biden was well behind Trump when he dropped out. Biden never led in all of 2024. And no incumbent president who was anywhere near as unpopular as Biden has ever won.”

Despite all evidence, Biden and a handful of aides in his inner circle insist that he, and not any other Democrat, stood the best chance against Trump. However, in the video, Enten emphasizes: “The bottom line is this: Joe Biden was behind, he had always been behind, and he most likely would have stayed behind.”

Biden withdrew from the presidential race on July 21, 2024, amid mounting pressure following a catastrophic performance in a CNN debate in June, which led to heightened scrutiny about his advanced age, cognitive decline, and capability to serve a full term. He subsequently endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to continue the Democratic Party’s presidential campaign.

Despite the data, Biden expressed confidence in an interview with USA Today‘s Susan Page, maintaining he would have defeated Trump if he had stayed in the race. Nevertheless, he appeared uncertain about whether he would have been able to serve until the end of a potential second term, saying, “Who the hell knows?”

These Pennsylvania Trump Numbers Are Sending Democrats Into a Tailspin.

Historic shifts among a broad swath of the Pennsylvania electorate helped deliver victory for President-elect Donald J. Trump in the 2024 presidential race. The Trump campaign’s populist America First agenda saw broad appeal across demographics, with working-class and young voters especially drawn to the President-elect’s message.

According to exit polls conducted by CNN, Trump saw a 16-point shift among voters aged 18 to 29 compared to his showing in the 2020 presidential election. Voters identifying as political independents moved 15 points toward Trump. Meanwhile, Hispanics shifted 24 points in favor of the America First leader, while black men moved 31 points.

Even among demographics considered staunchly pro-Trump, the President-elect saw improvement—gaining eight points among non-college-educated voters and six points among men overall. Trump saw a four-point shift with voters earning under $50,000 annually—a group traditionally associated with casting ballots for Democrats.

The significant voter shift resulted in Trump capturing all four of the critical bellwether Pennsylvania counties: Bucks, Erie, Monroe, and Northampton. Notably, these areas also saw heavy voter turnout during early voting in the days before November 5. According to the Trump campaign’s chief data consultant, Tim Saler, the high turnout was driven largely by the campaign’s efforts to target and energize low and mid-propensity voters.

Saler, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), reveals: “A newly-registered voter generated from @TeamTrump target lists turned out at a 17 [percent] higher rate than all other new registrants in Pennsylvania, and 16 [percent] higher than all previously-registered voters—despite being 81 [percent] harder to reach.” Additionally, Saler notes low to mid-propensity voters contacted by campaign or otherwise-aligned canvassers “turned out at a 21 [percent] higher rate than an equivalent Harris voter.”
