Massive Labor Union Endorses ‘Uncommitted’ Over Joe Biden.

The largest labor union in Washington state — the United Food and Commercial Workers — with a membership exceeding 50,000, has endorsed an ‘uncommitted’ stance for next month’s Democratic presidential primary. Union leaders cited concerns regarding President Joe Biden’s lack of political strength and his support for Israel‘s war against Hamas in Gaza as reasons for the endorsement choice.

Following an executive board vote on Wednesday, the union called Biden “an ally to workers” but expressed a lack of confidence in defeating the presumptive Republican nominee — former President Donald Trump — in the November election. According to the union’s statement, their recommendation to vote ‘uncommitted’ reflects a belief that this approach could strengthen the position of the eventual Democratic nominee.

Meanwhile, the union has pledged support for whoever may be the eventual Democratic Party nominee — promising to dispatch resources, staff, and members to campaign in any swing state to support their bid to defeat Trump. This move, though, underscores an implicit discontent within the Democratic base, as some factions remain uncertain about backing President Biden for re-election.

The divisions among Democrat rank-and-file were on display earlier this week in Michigan, a state with a significant Muslim and Arab American community opposed to Israel’s war against Hamas. About 13 percent of Democratic primary voters chose ‘uncommitted’ over Biden. Because of the solid anti-Biden showing in Michigan, at least two ‘uncommitted’ delegates will be present at the Democratic National Convention in August. The Washington union applauded the Michigan voters who opted for ‘uncommitted,’ urging Biden to endorse a lasting ceasefire and halt U.S. funding for the conflict.

JOE-BOTS! Tech Firm Aids Dem Election Efforts with AI.

A technology supporting Democratic candidates is leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) in its election outreach endeavors. Tech for Campaigns, which uses digital marketing and data for campaign purposes, is now utilizing generative AI to create digital advertisements and fundraising emails. These tools are ‘AI-aided,’ meaning they are managed and vetted by humans, and form part of a broader effort to help underfunded campaigns conserve resources and succeed in competitive races.

Jessica Alter, the co-founder of Tech for Campaigns, confirmed that the model has already produced results. The group, which originally utilized generative AI tools like Google’s Bard and ChatGPT, now plans to roll out its own suite of AI-enabled tools labeled “TFC Learning Engine.”

In 2023, an experiment across 14 Virginia campaigns showed that AI-aided emails garnered three to four times more fundraising dollars per work hour than solely human-written ones. “It can help generate ad ideas. It could help generate even regular marketing material like flyers and signs… and if you have data, it can help you analyze that data and pull out insight,” Alter said.

Generative AI garnered attention following the 2022 release of OpenAI’s product, ChatGPT, and has since expanded, offering tools that generate text, images, human voices, and video from simple prompts, diverging from previous AI technology that merely manipulated existing media.

However, this development occurs amid controversy surrounding AI’s use in politics. OpenAI declared in January that it won’t allow its applications for political campaigning. The Federal Communications Commission outlawed AI-generated robocalls following an impersonated call of President Joe Biden. AI companies have signed a pledge to prevent their algorithms from election interference use, and a bipartisan task force centered on AI was formed by House leaders to examine legal accountability for AI-caused election interference.

Democrats Say They Won’t Certify Trump Victory in Congress.

Democrats who have spent the last three years labeling former President Donald Trump and other Republicans who questioned the 2020 presidential election results as “insurrectionists” now claim they’ll refuse to certify a potential Trump victory in November.

The Atlantic reports:

[Attorney Jason] Murray and other legal scholars say that, absent clear guidance from the Supreme Court, a Trump win could lead to a constitutional crisis in Congress. Democrats would have to choose between confirming a winner many of them believe is ineligible and defying the will of voters who elected him. Their choice could be decisive: As their victory in a House special election in New York last week demonstrated, Democrats have a serious chance of winning a majority in Congress in November, even if Trump recaptures the presidency on the same day. If that happens, they could have the votes to prevent him from taking office.

In interviews, senior House Democrats would not commit to certifying a Trump win, saying they would do so only if the Supreme Court affirms his eligibility. But during oral arguments, liberal and conservative justices alike seemed inclined to dodge the question of his eligibility altogether and throw the decision to Congress.

The apparent contingency plan comes amid sliding approval ratings for President Joe Biden and mounting indications Trump could win a second term in 2024.

The crux of the plan is based on the recent Colorado Supreme Court ruling that the 14th Amendment’s insurrection clause bars Trump from the presidential ballot. If the U.S. Supreme Court does not clearly rule against the Colorado court’s decision, it leaves open the door for Congressional Democrats to attempt to block the certification of the 2024 presidential election on the grounds that Trump is ineligible under the insurrection clause.

If Congressional Democrats won a House majority and were to refuse to certify the 2024 presidential election, it would set off a potential constitutional crisis. With the Electoral College winner thrown out, the Constitution indicates the election of the President would be thrown to the House of Representatives. Thus far, senior House Democrats have refused to say if they would certify a Trump victory in November. Some have said they would only do so if the Supreme Court explicitly affirmed his eligibility to serve.

Democratic officials have prosecuted and incarcerated thousands connected to the Capitol riot on January 6th, 2021, while concurrently accusing Republican attempts to legally overturn what they consider potentially fraudulent 2020 results as another form of insurrection. The lawfare campaign against Trump has also aimed to prevent his candidacy in the 2024 election through several federal and state prosecutions.

Biden’s Home State Strikes Down 10 Day Early Voting Law.

A Delaware Superior Court has ruled the state’s law allowing ten days of early voting and permanent absentee voting is unconstitutional. Judge Mark H. Conner stated in a 25-page opinion: “The enactments of the General Assembly challenged today are inconsistent with our Constitution and therefore cannot stand.”

The court’s decision states that Article 5, Section 1 of the state constitution specifically proscribes that a “general election shall be held biennially on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in the month of November.” The Delaware Board of Elections argued the phrase “election shall be held” refers to the ‘last’ day in which a vote can be cast.

This decision could have broad implications, given ongoing legal challenges to state voting practices that critics say are in contravention of state laws and constitutions. Joe Biden, whose home state is Delaware, has leveled criticism at states like Georgia over their election regulations — calling their voter I.D. law “Jim Crow 2.0.” Georgia allows for three weeks of early voting.

The case was brought by Delaware state Senator Gerald Hocker and Michael Mennella — an inspector for the Delaware Department of Elections, represented by the Public Interest Legal Foundation. They noted the ruling is just the latest court decision stipulating states must follow their own constitutions. A New York state appeals court recently held noncitizen voting in municipal elections to be unconstitutional.

The ruling is Mennella and the Public Interest Legal Foundation’s second victory over Delaware’s voting laws in less than two years; previously, they succeeded in challenging the constitutionality of the state’s universal vote-by-mail and same-day voter registration laws.

Romney Refuses to Vote for Trump Despite Saying He Agrees With His Policies.

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney revealed he would not vote for former President Donald Trump if he becomes the Republican presidential nominee in a future election, despite agreeing with many of his policies.

Although Romney admitted that “yeah, [I] aligned with many of his domestic policies,” the Senator insisted Trump’s “character” was a more important factor in casting his vote. “Having a president who is so defaulted of character would have an enormous impact on the character of America,” he said. “And for me, that’s the primary consideration.”

Romney made his comments on Wednesday’s edition of CNN’s ‘The Source’ when questioned by host Kaitlan Collins.

The Senator also used the platform to criticize President Biden’s approach to border security and immigration, stating that Biden has made “extraordinary mistakes” and labeled his performance “embarrassing.” Although Romney praised Trump for “some smart things” done during his presidency, he said that alone was not enough to secure his support. Despite this, he acknowledged that Trump could win against Biden if the election were to occur today.

How Illegals Are Corrupting American Elections – EVEN IF THEY AREN’T VOTING.

Democrats are using illegal immigrants to impact elections by boosting the population of cities. The increased population in Democrat states affects Congressional and Electoral College apportionment. One of Joe Biden’s first executive orders reversed a decision by former President Donald Trump barring the use of illegal immigrant population data for Congressional apportionment.

The introduction of the “Equal Representation Act” — authored by Sens. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and Bill Hagerty (R-TN) — has sparked renewed debate around the inclusion of non-citizens in data used in Congressional apportionment. Only legal citizens would counted in census counts for congressional districts and the Electoral College map under the legislation.

“It is unconscionable that illegal immigrants and non-citizens are counted toward Congressional district apportionment,” said Hagerty in a statement. He added: “While people continue to flee Democrat-run cities, desperate Democrats are back-filling the mass exodus with illegal immigrants so that they do not lose their seats in Congress and maintain electoral votes for the Presidency and hence artificially boost their political power.”

Former Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) argued in a 2018 lawsuit against the U.S. Census Bureau that counting non-citizens for Congressional and Electoral College apportionment disenfranchised voters in states with low illegal immigrant populations. “Counting large illegal alien populations in the Census appropriates voting power from Americans and bestows it on other[s],” Brooks said.

Kamala Says U.S. Govt Will Give College Kids Taxpayer Cash to Register Voters.

Vice President Kamala Harris has declared that the United States government will compensate college students for registering voters and working as ‘nonpartisan’ poll workers. The funding for this initiative will come from the federal work-study program.

“We have been doing work to promote voter participation for students,” Harris said during the announcement, adding: “And for example, we have under the federal work-study program now allows students to get paid through federal work-study, to register people, and to be nonpartisan poll workers.” The Vice President said the Biden government was focused on activating young leaders to strengthen communities through increased voter engagement.

The Department of Education, which manages the federal work-study scheme, has confirmed the program’s funds are aimed at supporting students with their everyday college expenses. However, these benefits are to be earned through a work-study job. A policy memo issued by the Department of Education announced that voter registration employment would fulfill the work-study job requirement. “The Department is today clarifying that FWS funds may be used for employment by a Federal, State, local, or Tribal public agency for civic engagement work that is not associated with a particular interest or group,” read the memo.

The move by the Biden government is just the latest in a series of dubious decisions that critics fear are intended to impact the 2024 presidential election outcome. The National Pulse previously reported that a Biden appointee at the Department of Homeland Security has led the legal efforts to remove Donald Trump from the 2024 presidential ballot.

Democrat Judge Bans Trump from Ballot, Then Puts Her Own Ruling on Hold.

A Cook County judge ruled that the Illinois State Board of Elections must remove former President Donald Trump’s name from the state’s March 19 primary ballot. Judge Tracie Porter – whose Facebook page describes herself as “unanimously appointed” – also appears to want Illinois voters to have an appointed, not elected, president.

Porter issued the order following a challenge by the far-left ‘Free Speech for People’ group, an astroturf organization funded by Soros groups, the Rockefeller Family Fund, the climate change lobby, and the Hamas-linked Tides Foundation.

In her 38-page statement, Porter argued that an election board decision to keep Trump on the ballot was “clearly erroneous” and that the Soros group’s request should have been accepted.

“Every court or official that has addressed the merits of Trump’s constitutional eligibility has found that he engaged in insurrection after taking the oath of office and is therefore disqualified from the presidency,” commented Ron Fein, legal director of Free Speech For People and co-lead counsel.

Trump’s campaign spokesman, Steven Cheung, criticized the judgment, labeling it “an unconstitutional ruling” from “an activist Democrat judge in Illinois” and promised swift appeal measures. Judge Porter then placed her ruling on hold until Friday to allow time for appeal. She said she would rescind her order if the Supreme Court’s final decision contradicted hers.

Biden Follows Trump To U.S. Southern Border Today.

President Joe Biden is heading to the border city of Brownsville, Texas, on Thursday. The move comes after former President Donald Trump announced last week he would be visiting Eagle Pass, Texas, on the same day. The move by Biden underscores his vulnerability regarding the handling of the border crisis — which a majority of Americans say has turned into an all-out invasion.

Earlier on Monday, former President Trump blasted Biden on social media for the murder of Laken Riely, a 22-year-old nursing student in Georgia. Riley was killed Thursday by Jose Antonio Ibarra, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela who entered the U.S. in 2022. The Georgia murder has put a human face to the cost of the Biden government’s open-border policies

Polling for President Biden, the 81-year-old Democrat incumbent, has been dismal on the subject of immigration. February’s Harvard/Harris poll indicates that 62 percent of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track. Just 35 percent of Americans approve of Biden’s handling of immigration. The Monmouth University poll for February shows that 6 in 10 Americans believe immigration is now a very serious problem. A majority of Americans currently support the construction of a border wall for the first time since Monmouth began asking the question in 2015.

The National Pulse previously reported that Hispanic voters are increasingly turning on Biden over his poor handling of the border crisis. An overwhelming number of Hispanic voters say they disapprove of Biden’s handling of immigration and would like to see tighter border controls put in place.

Nikki Haley Has Blown Over $76M to Lose to Trump.

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has reportedly blown through over $76 million in her failed attempts to defeat former President Donald Trump in the primary races of four different states: Michigan, South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Iowa. Despite the substantial financial investment, Haley has suffered massive losses in each race. The considerable expenses may also have limited the funding the GOP will need to challenge current President Joe Biden effectively.

According to Federal Election Commission filings from the end of January, Haley’s campaign and her supporting political action committees only had $15 million cash on hand.

Among those who have ceased contributions to pro-Haley political action committees is Democrat billionaire donor Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn. His advisor Dmitri Mehlhorn told The Wall Street Journal that donations would not resume until evidence indicated Haley stood a genuine chance of winning.
