Trump Might Have to Bail Out Ted Cruz – Should He?

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) may need some help from President Donald J. Trump in getting across the finish line in the Lone Star State. Recent polling data suggests Cruz, seeking his third term in the U.S. Senate, is running a concerning five points behind Trump in Texas. The gap suggests Cruz may be vulnerable, with his Democrat opponent, Colin Allred, running just a point behind him.

An October voter survey released by Emerson College shows Cruz leading Allred 48 percent to 47 percent. Meanwhile, Trump has a comfortable lead over Vice President Kamala Harris, with 53 percent to her 46 percent. While the five-point gap between Trump and Cruz is concerning, even more alarming is the survey suggesting independent voters are breaking for Allred 47 percent to 42 percent. Conversely, those same independents break for Trump with 49 percent to Harris’s 47 percent.

CRUZ’S JEFF ROE PROBLEM.

Complicating matters in Texas is Cruz’s symbiotic relationship with Republican political consultant Jeff Roe. Without Roe, Cruz likely would not have won his initial Senate run in 2012, and without Cruz, Roe likely would still be a relatively unknown entity in campaign consulting outside his home state of Missouri.

While Roe‘s national profile took a severe hit during the 2024 Republican presidential primary—as the consultant spearheading Governor Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) disastrous campaign—he retains relevance because of Cruz. However, there are some in both Trump-world and the Republican Party at large who may not mind seeing Sen. Cruz lose his seat if it means being rid of Roe once and for all. During the 2024 primary, Roe was often taunted by Trump campaign advisor Chris LaCivita on X (formerly Twitter), with the latter slamming Roe’s management of the pro-DeSantis Never Back Down SuperPAC.

After DeSantis dropped out of the race and endorsed Trump’s 2024 bid to retake the White House, LaCivita and Trump advisor Susie Wiles pushed lawmakers on Capitol Hill, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, to drop Roe as a consultant. Johnson, for his part, complied—cutting ties with Roe this past February.

Kamala’s VP Tim Walz Brought Chinese Communists to Nebraska High School.

New allegations have surfaced alleging that Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) hosted a group of Chinese ‘educators’ while teaching in Nebraska in 1996. Some members of the Chinese delegation are now believed to have been Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials connected to the regime’s intelligence and foreign influence operations.

The Chinese officials were brought to Walz’s classroom in Alliance, Nebraska, to “study the education system” of the United States, according to an Alliance Times-Herald report at the time. According to the U.S. intelligence community, China has routinely used seemingly innocuous cultural and educational exchange programs to engage in foreign espionage and to further its political interests.

Walz—the Democratic Party’s 2024 nominee as Kamala Harris’s running mate—faces increasing congressional scrutiny over his ties to China. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill have raised the prospect that the Minnesota Democrat could be a target of Chinese influence. In addition, some question whether his relations with individuals associated with the CCP constitute a potential national security risk.

Earlier this month, the House Oversight Committee requested that the Biden-Harris Department of Homeland Security (DHS) hand over documents pertaining to Walz and his ties to CCP officials. In a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) states his committee was informed by a whistleblower that communications exist between DHS personnel regarding their concerns about Walz and his ties to China.

This isn’t the first time the Alliance Times-Herald has reported on Walz’s connections to China. In a 1991 article, the Nebraska newspaper revealed that Walz lauded the ideals of international communism to students. The 2024 Democratic Party vice presidential nominee is quoted extolling the virtues of Chinese communism as a system where “everyone shares” and “everyone is the same.”

Kamala Backs Mass Amnesty for Illegals in Rambling Interview.

Vice President Kamala Harris is backing mass amnesty for illegal immigrants instead of mass deportations, which are supported by a majority of the American people. The immigration policy revelation came during a disjointed response by the 2024 Democrat Party presidential nominee to a question posed by Telemundo.

“Right now, we’re talking about border security and there’s nobody—no Democrat—talking about a pathway to citizenship, an immigration relief,” pressed Telemundo’s Julio Vaqueiro before Harris interjected: “I am!”

Vaqueiro continued, emphasizing Democrats are not talking enough about the “benefits migrants bring to this country.” At this point, Harris engages in one of her signature rambling, nonsensical interview answers.

“Oh, but there is no question that [pause] migrants bring. America is a country that is, was built, in part, by immigrants,” the vice president says, appearing confused by her own response. When pressed further by Vaqueiro regarding concerns among immigrants about mass deportations, Harris—becoming visibly frustrated and angry—says: “I’m not talking about other… Uh, we need smart, humane immigration policy in America that includes a pathway to citizenship.”

The Biden-Harris government has overseen an unprecedented surge in illegal immigration across the U.S. southern border in its nearly four years in power. Upwards of 20 million or more foreign nationals are believed to have entered the country illegally between 2021 and 2024, resulting in violent foreign criminal gangs—like Venezula’s Tren de Aragua—establishing themselves in numerous American cities.

The unchecked flow of illegal immigrants has resulted in several high-profile incidents where U.S. citizens were murdered by migrants who had been released into the country by the Biden-Harris government pending an immigration court date.

Meta’s Own Oversight Board Dings Facebook for Censoring Harris-Walz Nipple-Pinching Parody.

Meta Platforms’ Oversight Board has instructed the company to reinstate a Facebook post that parodied Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz. The post superimposed their faces onto a Dumb and Dumber movie poster, depicting the characters pinching each other’s nipples through their clothing. Meta had removed the post, citing its policy against “derogatory sexualized photoshop” manipulations, but restored it after the board stepped in to review the case.

The board criticized Meta for overreacting to what was clearly a political parody. It noted that the original movie poster featured characters known for crude humor, and Harris and Walz’s altered image was non-sexual. Meta later admitted that its initial decision to take down the post was a mistake, blaming human error.

“This post is a typical example of political satire and should be recognized as such,” the board wrote, adding that Meta’s initial misstep calls into question the effectiveness of its content moderation systems.

Conservatives have long complained that Meta censors too much of their content, while progressives complain that the platform does not censor conservative “misinformation” enough. Meta relies on AI-driven moderation and outsourced human moderators, frequently failing to recognize satire.

Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg claims he is getting out of the election interference business. However, undercover reporters recently released hidden camera footage suggesting his platforms are still manipulating the online conversation in Harris’s favor.

U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Commissioner Brendan Carr has also been calling out Facebook for censoring factually accurate information on the failure of a Harris-led rural broadband initiative in recent days.

Biden-Harris DOJ Targets Elon Musk PAC Over Voter Sweepstakes.

The Biden-Harris Department of Justice (DOJ) has issued a warning to Elon Musk’s America PAC, cautioning that it may be violating laws prohibiting payments or incentives to influence voting. The warning was conveyed in a letter from Robert Heberle, who leads the DOJ’s election crimes branch, to America PAC’s attorney Chris Gober, and emphasized that offering anything of value to sway voting decisions contravenes federal laws.

There are no immediate legal actions indicated in the warning. However, Heberle outlines potential penalties for violating U.S. voting laws, including fines and imprisonment for up to five years. This comes as Musk, a technology industry billionaire and significant supporter of former President Donald J. Trump, has been promoting a $1 million sweepstakes targeting registered voters in swing states. The initiative, presented through the super PAC’s account on Musk’s social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and at rallies, asks registered voters to sign a petition in support of the First and Second Amendments.

Election law experts have raised concerns about the legality of the sweepstakes’ requirements. On his blog, seasoned election law expert Rick Hasen suggested that participants needing to demonstrate their voter registration could likely contravene voting regulations.

The DOJ is yet to publicly comment on the situation. Representatives from America PAC have repeatedly maintained that the $1 million sweepstakes contest is legal and in accordance with U.S. election laws.

Nate Silver Predicts Trump Victory.

Nate Silver, known for his analytical work at FiveThirtyEight, predicts a victory for former President Donald J. Trump in November. In a piece published in the New York Times on Wednesday, Silver writes, “In an election where the seven battleground states are all polling within a percentage point or two, 50-50 is the only responsible forecast… Yet when I deliver this unsatisfying news, I inevitably get a question: ‘C’mon, Nate, what’s your gut say?’ So OK, I’ll tell you. My gut says Donald Trump.”

Silver believes his gut feeling may resonate with “many anxious Democrats.” Previously, Democrat pollsters have expressed fear that Trump’s support is being significantly undercounted, as it was in 2016 and 2020, which would turn tight margins between Trump and Harris into comfortable leads for the America First leader.

“What accentuates my concern is when you poll people who have not voted in ’20 but are planning to vote today, they are disproportionately Trump voters,” said pollster Celinda Lake in September.

Silver is skeptical that there are “shy Trump voters” who mislead pollsters but believes there may be merit to the idea that the former president’s supporters have a “nonresponse bias.” They “often have lower civic engagement and social trust, so they can be less inclined to complete a survey from a news organization,” he observes.

On his election prediction more broadly, Silver cautions people against placing too much credence on his instinct or anyone else’s. He emphasizes, “A 50-50 forecast really does mean 50-50.”

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s Democrat Opponent Doesn’t Even Live in the District.

The Democratic Party candidate challenging Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) doesn’t actually live in the congressional district she is seeking to represent. Whitney Fox, the Democratic nominee for Florida’s 13th Congressional District, actually lives about one mile outside the district’s eastern border, according to property records.

Since Fox is not an actual resident of the 13th Congressional District, the Florida Democratic Party candidate will not be able to vote for herself in November’s election. While Members of the House of Representatives may run in and represent congressional districts in which they do not reside, they must be residents of the state in which the district is located.

Florida’s 13th Congressional District stretches along the state’s Gulf coast from Tarpon Springs in the north to St. Pete Beach in the south. The district’s western border is the Gulf of Mexico, while its eastern line follows mostly Interstate 275 and U.S. Route 19, bisecting the southern portion of Pinellas County. This bisection pushes Fox’s residence outside the district.

According to Pinellas County, Florida property records, Fox and her husband reside in a home built on two lots at 121 24th Street S in Saint Petersburg. Consequently, the address is approximately a mile outside the 13th Congressional District’s lines and is actually located in the 14th Congressional District, which includes most of Saint Petersburg and Tampa.

In Congress, Rep. Luna has been a staunch ally of President Donald J. Trump and an outspoken critic of Democratic Party smears against the America First leader. Last year, the Florida Republican was instrumental in pushing for the censure of Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) over his role in the Russia collusion hoax.

The National Pulse reported in September that Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s 2022 primary opponent, William Braddock, was charged by federal prosecutors for discussing hiring a hit squad to murder her.

Kamala Caught Plagiarizing AGAIN.

In 2007, Kamala Harris, then the San Francisco district attorney, testified before Congress to support the John R. Justice Prosecutors and Defenders Incentive Act, aiming to create a student loan repayment program for state and local prosecutors. However, it has been revealed that Harris’s testimony was largely plagiarized from another district attorney, Paul Logli, a Republican from Winnebago County, Illinois.

Logli had testified on the same bill two months earlier before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Both Harris and Logli’s statements used identical language, cited the same surveys, and even contained the same grammatical errors. Harris’s testimony was essentially a copy-paste job with very few changes besides minor tweaks in punctuation and wording.

Already under fire for appearing to plagiarize multiple sections of her 2009 book Smart on Crime, the similarities between Harris’s and Logli’s testimonies raise questions about the Democratic presidential nominee’s integrity.

A plagiarism review has found many examples of Harris appearing to copy her work over the years. Examples include lifting a paragraph from Wikipedia in a 2012 report on human trafficking and lifting from a New York State judge in a 2014 report on transnational gangs.

Internet ‘Witches’ Claim They Can’t Hex Trump Due to Mysterious ‘Protection.’

Self-identified “Reddit witches” are expressing frustration over their inability to cast harmful spells on former U.S. President Donald J. Trump. Users on the subreddit ‘WitchesVsPatriarchy’ are attributing the difficulty to “protection” surrounding Trump.

One post proposed focusing spells against Project 2025, a policy plan by the Heritage Foundation. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz often link Project 2025 to Trump, although his campaign has distanced itself from the initiative. The user also encouraged others to cast spells in support of Harris and the Democratic Party, reflecting concerns over current polling. The witch concluded by urging people who shared her call to action to avoid using her username.

The post gained significant attention online, amassing over 1.7 million views after being shared on Elon Musk’s X platform. The concept of Trump’s alleged “protection” prompted a variety of reactions and speculation among users on social media. Several participants pondered what form this purported protection around Trump could take.

The Catholics for Catholics organization recently ran a billboard campaign featuring Donald Trump. It urged prayers for the country’s leaders, specifically calling on the aid of St. Michael the Archangel, commander of the Heavenly host.

Trump himself shared a traditional Catholic prayer to St. Michael on social media in September, calling on the archangel to “by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.”

AZ Man Arrested For Threats Toward Trump Jr. and Charlie Kirk.

A man in Arizona has been arrested by police over online threats directed at Donald Trump Jr. and political activist Charlie Kirk after the pair had attended a political rally in Tempe last week. Daniel Ashpes, 24, was arrested by police this week after replying to automated messages asking people to RSVP to the Turning Point USA rally featuring Don Jr. and Kirk, held at a local Tempe hotel.

Detectives investigated the matter after being informed that threatening messages had been sent, though police have not expanded on the messages’ content. Following his arrest, Ashpes admitted to sending the messages and was booked on charges of threatening to cause physical injury as well as using a phone to threaten others.

The case comes as the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced this week that a Philadelphia man had been arrested for threatening to skin alive a state party worker looking for poll watcher volunteers. John Pollard faces a possible five-year prison sentence for sending a text message that stated, “GONNA F*CKING FIND YOU AND SKIN YOU ALIVE AND USE YOUR SKIN FOR F*CKING TOILET PAPER, YOU F*CKING KKK*NT!”

Political violence and threats of violence have been a major issue throughout the 2024 presidential campaign, with President Donald J. Trump being shot and one of his supporters killed at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July.

Another attempted assassination came in September. Ryan Routh, a Democrat donor with strong connections to Ukraine and the Ukrainian military, was arrested after camping out in a bush at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, with a rifle.

As a result, Trump has halted all golfing plans until after the election. Trump’s campaign has also requested military aircraft and other support measures for enhanced protection.
