6 Crazy Things You Might Not Know About Tim Walz.

Kamala Harris’s vice presidential pick, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), has a long history of pushing a far-left, progressive agenda as a lawmaker. In addition, the Minnesota Democrat has been plagued by personal controversies, including allegations that he embellished certain details regarding his military career.

Having served over a decade in Congress before being elevated in 2019 to Minnesota’s governorship, Walz has managed to fly under the national radar. Now that he’s officially joined the 2024 Democratic Party’s national ticket, however, his radical record will likely become a significant campaign issue.

The National Pulse has compiled a brief history of Gov. Walz’s more controversial policy stances and lesser-known details regarding his personal life.

DODGING THE IRAQ WAR?

Walz has frequently touted his military record during his various campaigns for office, noting that he chose to reenlist in the Minnesota Army National Guard following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Additionally, the Minnesota Democrat often claims to be the highest-ranking enlisted service member ever to serve in the U.S. Congress—having achieved the rank of Command Sergeant Major.

However, fellow Minnesota guardsmen have called into question Walz’s military record and rank. According to a group of retired members of the Minnesota Army National Guard, Walz was reduced from the rank of Command Sergeant Major to Master Sergeant when he retired in 2005. Additionally, the guardsmen allege that while Walz had initially committed to a six-year term of duty when he reenlisted, he retired early on May 16, 2005, in order to avoid deployment to Iraq.

They contend that the progressive Democrat learned of his unit’s deployment, prompting the early retirement and subsequent demotion in rank.

DRUNK DRIVING INCIDENT.

In 1995, nearly a decade before his initial run for Congress, Walz was pulled over in his home state of Nebraska for reckless driving. A Nebraska state trooper clocked Walz traveling at 96 mph in a 55 mph zone. Years later, during his numerous Congressional campaigns, political opponents—citing the incident—repeatedly accused Walz of having been drunk at the time. The Minnesota Democrat, however, dismissed the allegations, insisting he wasn’t inebriated when he was pulled over for reckless driving.

A court transcript from the case, however, offers clear evidence that Walz was, in fact, drunk. According to the Nebraska state trooper report, “A strong odor of alcoholic beverage was detected emitting from Mr. Walz[‘s] breath and person.”

Despite being initially charged with driving under the influence, Walz was able to plead out to a lesser charge of reckless driving. A blood test that was administered to Walz at the time by law enforcement was subsequently suppressed. The court transcript released that Walz’s blood alcohol level was .128, well above the legal limit.

THE GEORGE FLOYD RIOTS.

As Governor of Minnesota, Walz rejected federal assistance and was slow to deploy the state’s National Guard to Minneapolis in response to the 2020 George Floyd riots. Despite his inaction, Walz blamed local law enforcement and Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey, calling their response an “abject failure.”

Text messages and emails obtained by the Star Tribune after the riots, however, show that state officials—not city officials—failed to communicate important details provided by local law enforcement. This delayed the deployment of the National Guard for almost 24 hours.

Even after the National Guard had been deployed, Walz and his staff only offered local officials vague responses to requests for aid. In one instance, on May 27, 2020, Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo called Walz, asking that guardsmen be deployed to a Target that was being looted. According to Mayor Frey, Walz was noncommital to Arradondo’s request, saying only that he “would consider it.”

A $250 MILLION SCANDAL.

The COVID-19 pandemic saw Minnesota rocked by a massive fraud scandal, where an organized group of Somali residents embezzled $250 million in state funds meant to feed needy children. In the aftermath of the fraud scandal, Gov. Walz and officials with the Minnesota Department of Education have been accused of failing to enact adequate measures to prevent the embezzlement.

After state officials discovered that the nonprofit Feeding Our Future had embezzled the funds, Walz moved to freeze any future payments to the group. It was subsequently revealed that at least 70 members of Minnesota’s Somali community were using the nonprofit as a front to perpetrate the massive fraud scheme. Despite clear evidence of a crime, Walz reversed course on the payment freeze following a pressure campaign in which he was accused of racism and discrimination against the state’s Somali residents.

A LADDER FOR ILLEGALS.

Walz, a proponent of the Biden-Harris government’s open borders policies, was a vocal opponent of former President Donald J. Trump’s efforts to construct a wall along the southern U.S. border. In an interview with CNN, the Minnesota Democrat quipped that he’d invest in a ladder factory to aid illegals entering the country.

“He talks about this wall; I always say, let me know how high it is. If it is twenty-five feet, then I’ll invest in a thirty-foot ladder factory,” Walz said, referring to Trump’s efforts to stop illegal immigrants from crossing the border.

As governor, Walz has pushed so-called ‘sanctuary‘ policies in Minnesota—shielding illegal immigrants from deportation by the federal government. In 2023, he signed legislation allowing illegal immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses, which could result in noncitizens voting illegally in federal elections.

TRANSGENDER ‘SANCTUARY STATE.’

One of the most troubling policies enacted under Walz’s governorship is Minnesota’s transformation into a safe haven for minors seeking transgender surgeries and hormone treatments. In 2023, Walz issued an executive order protecting access to “gender-affirming care” in the state. Under the rule, adults and children are ensured access to gender reassignment surgery and hormones, which could result in sterilization.

Additionally, Walz’s executive order bars other state governments from taking “protective action” against Minnesota parents who help their children transition. The order effectively bans parents residing in other states from taking custody action against Minnesota-based parents while a child is undergoing medical transition.

WATCH: Hidden Camera Reveals Muslims Used Voter Fraud To Gain Power In This U.S. State.

In a series of undercover videos, Democrat lawmakers and left-wing activists candidly describe how Muslim activists gamed state election laws—and in many instances violated those laws—ostensibly to the benefit of the Democratic Party. They detail how Muslims in the state have used a combination of voter fraud, ballot harvesting, and intimidation to gain power in several of the state’s cities.

Karen Majewski, who served as the Mayor of Hamtramck from 2006 until 2021, claims that Muslim candidates would fill out the absentee ballots while sitting in the voter’s dining room. “The absentee ballots are being filled out in people’s dining rooms by the candidates,” Majewski says in the undercover video. Under Michigan law, only close family members or an election official can handle a voter’s absentee ballot and deliver it to a drop box.

According to Majewski, both Michigan’s Attorney General Dana Nessel and federal officials are investigating instances of election fraud perpetrated in the state’s Bangladeshi and Yemeni communities. However, she notes that government officials have declined to address the problems in the past.

In another video, Lynn Blasey—a former candidate for Hamtramck’s city council, claims the Mulsim community held a secret meeting before the 2021 election where absentee ballots were auctioned off to the candidates, with the highest bidder subsequently winning their respective elections.

It should be noted that Hamtramck became the first Muslim-majority city in the United States in 2013, with a population primarily drawn from Yemen, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. In 2021, Hamtramck became the first U.S. locality to elect an all-Muslim city council and mayor. However, some progressive activists now feel betrayed after Muslim lawmakers barred LGBTQ displays on city property in June of last year.

BREAKING: Top Biden Economic Advisor QUITS WHITE HOUSE Amidst Market Chaos.

A senior economic advisor to Joe Biden announced he is leaving the White House on the same day U.S. markets opened to significant losses, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average plunging over 1,000 points just after the opening bell. Gene Sperling, who has overseen the implementation of the Biden-Harris government’s massive spending program and served as an economic advisor in the Obama and Clinton governments, will join Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign.

Sperling’s move is likely part of an effort to bolster Kamala Harris’s economic policy agenda—a weak spot for the 2024 Democratic Party presidential nominee. However, while serving in the Biden-Harris government, Sperling was tasked with overseeing the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan—the Democrats’ pandemic aid package—which set off rampant inflation in the U.S.

While senior aides leaving the White House in the closing days of a presidential administration is not unusual, the departure of a top economic advisor during the midst of the market sell-off and mounting recession fears could further exacerbate economic volatility. Monday saw chaos in Asian markets as Japan’s Nikkei 225 index plummeted by an unprecedented 4,451 points. The panic was seemingly set off by last week’s U.S. jobs report, which saw employment numbers coming in far below expectations. Combined with the Federal Reserve again declining to slash interest rates, the rising unemployment rate has sparked recession fears in the Biden-Harris economy.

RFK Jr. Confesses to Planting Dead Bear Cub in Central Park.

On Sunday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. admitted to placing a dead bear cub in New York City’s Central Park a decade ago as a prank. He made the revelation in a video with actor Roseanne Barr.

Kennedy recounted to Barr that he found the dead bear cub, killed by a vehicle, during a falconry trip in New York’s Hudson Valley in 2014. Putting it in his car with the intent to skin it and scavenge its meat, he and his companions later decided it would be funny to plant the carcass in Central Park, positioning it as if it had been run over by a cyclist.

“We thought it would be amusing for whoever found it,” Kennedy said. “The next day, it was on every television station… I was like, ‘Oh my God, what did I do?’”

A dog discovered the bear cub near a bicycle in the park, alarming city residents and sparking an investigation into whether bears were roaming the area. Authorities noted trauma on the bear’s body but could not determine the cause of death, leaving the mystery unsolved until Kennedy’s bizarre confession.

The video seems to be an attempt to preempt a negative story Kennedy expects on the subject from The New Yorker.

Previously, Kennedy’s campaign ran into controversy when he was accused of sending people pictures of himself eating a barbecued dog. This was later connected to his past confession that part of his brain had been eaten by a parasitic worm.

Trump Camp Alleges CBS ‘Manipulation’ of Poll That Sees Harris Take Small Lead.

The Donald J. Trump for President campaign is alleging media manipulation of a new poll that shows Kamala Harris taking the lead by one point (i.e. within the margin of error) nationally. The data from CBS and YouGov alleged to show a shift towards Harris on Sunday morning, with over 3,100 people polled from July 30th to August 2nd.

The survey claimed Harris has enthused younger, as well as black and female voters, and that in battleground state, Harris is now tied with Trump. But the Trump campaign shot back, claiming a shift in the poll’s weighting for ideology effectively handed Harris the lead by data manipulation.

“The Fake News Media continue to help dangerously liberal Kamala hide her record of economic failure and soft on crime policies. Now, as this analysis shows they’ll even put a finger on the scale of polling to inflate results for her. This analysis is why the American people are seeing through it and will not allow this national gaslighting campaign to win. Despite this manipulated result, from CBS/YouGov it’s worth noting that in July and August of 2020, their data showed Biden leading by 10 nationally, reflecting a net positive movement of almost +10 to President Trump this election cycle,” said Brian Hughes, Senior Advisor to the Trump campaign.

Trump retains a significant advantage in areas where he traditionally excels. Voters believe they would be financially better off under Trump and that his policies would effectively reduce border migration.

The poll claims most Democratic voters, and nearly half of all voters, report increased motivation to vote with Harris as the Democratic nominee. Harris matches or exceeds Trump in candidate qualities such as cognitive health, energy, and focus.

On policy issues, voters see Harris’s stances as similar to Biden’s.

RINOs FOR KAMALA: Harris Camp Drafts Kinzinger’s Ex Chief-of-Staff to Try to Win Over Republicans.

The Harris campaign introduced a strategy on Sunday to gain support from Republican voters, targeting those who had cast their ballots for Nikki Haley in previous elections. The campaign is enlisting state political directors to spearhead Republican outreach in their respective areas.

Sunday’s announcement included the formation of state advisory committees in battleground states. These committees will facilitate Republican-to-Republican voter engagement through activities such as door-knocking, phone banking, and hosting events featuring Republican figures. The campaign is also launching a digital effort where Republican supporters of Harris can share their views online to appeal to fellow Republicans.

The 2024 campaign established a dedicated position for garnering Republican support, hiring Adam Kinzinger’s former chief of staff, Austin Weatherford, who now serves as the campaign’s national director of Republican outreach.

“Donald Trump’s MAGA extremism is toxic to many Republicans who no longer feel represented by his party,” he told NBC.

The campaign also announced endorsements from a handful of Republicans in Name Only (RINOs) who have been critical of Trump, including former Gov. Bill Weld of Massachusetts, former Rep. Denver Riggleman of Virginia, and ex-Trump administration press secretary Stephanie Grisham. These individuals will join Harris at events throughout her seven-state campaign tour, though specific names were not disclosed.

Additionally, the campaign is exploring endorsements from the likes of Rep. Liz Cheney and former Sen. Jeff Flake, who supported Joe Biden in 2020. Cheney’s potential endorsement would align her with Kinzinger, another prominent Trump critic. Kinzinger and Grisham issued statements supporting Harris, emphasizing the importance of protecting democracy and integrity.

WATCH: Vance Slams Harris’s Mishandling of the Southern Border Crisis.

Former President Donald J. Trump‘s running mate, Senator J.D. Vance, took Vice President Kamala Harris to task for the Biden-Harris government’s mishandling of the U.S. southern border crisis on a visit to Cochise County, Arizona, on Thursday. Vance expressed disbelief at the scale of the crisis, with Joe Biden having assigned Harris to tackle its “root causes” in 2021, emphasizing how hard it is to understand the severity of the situation without seeing it firsthand.

Kamala Harris came into office making promises, and she kept those promises to open the American southern border,” Vance said.

“They stopped deportations on day one; they stopped construction of the border wall on day one. We see the border wall sitting here, ready to be completed behind us, and that can’t happen because of Kamala Harris‘s administration,” he continued.

“They reinstated ‘catch and release’ and they stopped ‘Remain in Mexico,’ so all these asylum claimants who come to our border, they can now get released into our country because they’re not forced to stay in Mexico while we adjudicate their asyum claims,” Vance said.

These policies, the Senator stressed, “cause real human beings to suffer,” citing his own childhood experience of his mother, a recovering drug addict, almost losing her life to “poison” trafficked across the porous frontier with Mexico.

It is true that Harris opposes the border wall, having dismissed it as a “vanity project,” and she has expressed little interest in deporting illegal aliens, instead stressing the supposed importance of a “pathway to citizenship” that would only encourage more illegal immigration.

She also compared U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to the KKK as a hyper-liberal U.S. Senator.

WATCH: Non-Citizens Admit, on Camera, That They Are Registered to Vote.

As many as 14 percent of non-citizens spoken to by a journalist in Georgia admitted to being registered to vote in American elections, which could mean tens of thousands of non-citizens have been registered.

A video showing non-citizens admitting to being registered to vote was published on July 31 by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project and shows 14 percent of the non-citizens questioned admitting to being registered to vote. Some non-citizens questioned even admitted they had voted previously.

According to the Oversight Project, an estimated 339,000 non-citizens currently live in Georgia. If the 14 percent number held true for the rest of the state, then Georgia could have as many as 47,000 non-citizens registered to vote.

The number is significant as Joe Biden only won the state by less than 12,000 votes during the 2020 presidential election. Georgia has faced major scrutiny over its election practices, particularly in Fulton County, where election documents published in 2021 revealed election discrepancies, including incorrect ballots being delivered and scanning machines failing.

Earlier this year, 300 election officials in key swing states, including Georgia, raised alarms over election integrity concerns in their localities. The Oversight Project has contacted Georgia officials regarding the non-citizens being registered to vote and wishes to cooperate with any investigation.

Georgia is not the only state that faces issues with non-citizens voting, as prosecutors brought charges against 37 non-citizens who voted in North Carolina’s 2016 election. Prosecutors who handled the cases also noted that most non-citizens were far more likely to vote for the Democrats than the Republicans.

Big Tech Bias: Meta’s AI Claims Trump Was Not Shot.

An artificial intelligence (AI) assistant developed by Meta, the parent company of Facebook, inaccurately claimed that former President Donald J. Trump was not shot earlier this month, fueling leftist conspiracy theories over Trump’s attempted assassination. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg called Trump‘s immediate reaction to being shot “badass” and inspiring, a statement which contradicts the company’s AI assistant.

In a blog post on Tuesday, Meta’s global head of policy, Joel Kaplan, attributed the AI’s error to its tendency to “hallucinate,” a term used within the industry to describe the generation of false information. “Like all generative AI systems, models can return inaccurate or inappropriate outputs, and we’ll continue to address these issues and improve these features as they evolve and more people share their feedback,” Kaplan claimed.

Meta decided to suppress its AI assistant’s ability to provide information on the incident involving Trump in reaction to massive criticism. Facebook previously censored the iconic photo of Trump raising his fist after being shot in Butler, Pennsylvania, falsely labeling it an altered image.

Meta is not alone in grappling with AI inaccuracies. Google also faced backlash for its AI’s failure to properly handle news about the assassination attempt, leading to claims of censorship. Users noted earlier this week that Google searches for information on the attempted assassination of former President Trump refused to autofill.

Tech billionaire and X owner Elon Musk suggested, sarcastically, that it may just be a coincidence that executives at Google’s parent company, Alphabet, are top donors to Democrats.

Kamala Harris Descends from Notorious Slave Owner, Historian Reveals.

A British historian has traced Vice President Kamala Harris’s lineage to Hamilton Brown, a notorious 19th-century slave owner and plantation manager in Jamaica. Harris, of Indian and Afro-Jamaican descent, has not publicly addressed these historical ties. Her father, Donald Harris, an academic at Stanford University, has written about the family’s connections, noting that Brown is his ancestor.

Stephen McCracken, a historian from Northern Ireland, has asserted that Hamilton Brown—himself an Ulster Scot—was not only a slave owner but also campaigned against the abolition of slavery. Born in Antrim, Brown relocated to Jamaica where he established a plantation and protested anti-slavery efforts in London.

Joe Biden has endorsed Harris as the 2024 Democratic Party presidential nominee after Biden decided not to seek re-election last month. While Harris has enjoyed a honeymoon phase in election polling,  critics have pointed to Harris‘s penchant for gaffes and policy decisions as potential liabilities. Her political ascent has been accompanied by controversies, such as her handling of cases as San Francisco’s District Attorney and Attorney General of California.

Harris is not the only Democratic presidential hopeful who can trace her ancestors back to slave owners. When he was still just a U.S. Senator, Barack Obama was presented with evidence in 2007 that his ancestors were also slave owners on his mother’s side.

Numerous currently living members of the American political elites have ancestors tied to the slave trade, including five living presidents and senators like Elizabeth Warren and Lindsay Graham, among at least a hundred others. However, one major political figure who appears not to have any ancestors involved in the slave trade is former president Donald J. Trump.

The legacy of the slave trade remains an issue for some, including Caribbean nations, who have demanded as much as $33 trillion in reparations.
