Early Exit Polls Showed Postive Signs for Trump.

Early exit polls indicated widespread voter dissatisfaction with the direction of the county. According to CNN’s voter survey, 72 percent of voters said they are either dissatisfied or angry with the direction of the U.S. under the Biden-Harris government. However, 61 percent also said they believe the best days for America are still ahead.

Meanwhile, NBC News’s exit polls suggested the economy and the state of democracy were top issues for voters, with abortion in a distant third and immigration just behind in fourth place. Similarly, the Associated Press’s (AP) data found that four in ten voters ranked the economy as their top issue, which is likely a positive sign for President Donald J. Trump. Only one in ten voters told the AP that abortion was their top issue.

Voters supporting Vice President Kamala Harris overwhelmingly said the state of democracy was their top issue. According to the CNN exits, 56 percent of Harris voters named democracy as their top issue, with 21 percent naming abortion. The abortion data point is important as it ranks relatively low in the overall exits across the partisan spectrum—which could be indicative of low turnout for Harris.

It is important to note that exit polling is not always indicative of how votes will actually break, especially early numbers. In past elections, early exit polls have skewed toward the Democratic nominee and suggested overwhelming votes for both Joe Biden in 2020 and Hillary Clinton in 2016. Additionally, while CNN found nearly three-quarters of voters angry or dissatisfied with the direction of the country, this number could include Democrats expressing anger over abortion or Donald Trump’s candidacy.

Trump Florida Poll

Trump Wins Florida in Landslide, Republicans on Pace to Take the Senate.

President Donald J. Trump has won Florida and its 30 electoral votes in a landslide. The former Republican president flipped  Miami-Dade and Duval Counties—both once considered Democrat strongholds—and currently leads Vice President Kamala Harris with 55.8 percent of the vote to her 43.3 percent.

Trump’s Florida victory has shocked the corporate media, with the Republican nominee’s margin of victory being propelled by strong margins among Latino voters in the state. Meanwhile, incumbent Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) has won re-election. Some polls suggested the Florida Senate race would be competitive. However, Scott defeated his Democrat challenger by a margin similar to Trump’s.

The Democrat-driven ballot measures expanding abortion access and legalizing marijuana in Florida have both failed.

In West Virginia, President Trump easily defeated Harris. Additionally, Governor Jim Justice (R-WV) has cruised to victory in the state’s Senate race to replace the retiring Democrat-turned-independent, Joe Manchin. Currently, Republicans are likely to have at least 50 total U.S. Senate seats. However, trends show they have high odds now of winning a majority in the chamber outright.

Interference: Google Only Provides Vote Location Info For Those Wanting to Vote For Kamala Harris.

Voters for Democrat candidate Kamala Harris are aided by tech giant Google when they ask where to vote, but typing in the same query for President Donald J. Trump yields no help from the company.

Typing in the phrase “where to vote for Harris” shows a “where to vote” search box for voters to find their nearest polling station, along with an overview, polling data, and other topics connected to the 2024 presidential race.

However, when the phrase “where to vote for Trump” is input into Google, the search engine does not provide the same service. Instead, the top results are news articles followed by the official website of the Trump campaign, which has its own page showing voting locations.

The issue comes just months after Google search results seemed to omit autocomplete searches of the attempted assassination of President Trump in July.

Google has also banned ads in the past for Trump and compared Trump’s book, Crippled America, to Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf in its image search results.

Democrat Allegedly Circulates Fraudulent Ballots in Rhode Island.

A Rhode Island state lawmaker is being accused of producing and distributing a sample ballot that is made to look like an official state election ballot—causing confusion among voters. Only Democrat candidates are visible on the ballot, with the lines for candidates representing other political parties being blanked out entirely.

State Representative Michelle McGaw allegedly distributed a Democratic Party sample ballot with markings that closely resemble the state printed ballots—including the state seal and the wording “State of Rhode Island Official Ballot.” Anthony D’Ellena, Vice Chairman of the Narragansett Republican Town Committee and McGaw’s election opponent, says he’s contacted the Rhode Island Secretary of State regarding the matter but has not received a response.

Patricia Morgan, the former Republican minority leader in the Rhode Island State House and current candidate for Congress, supports D’Ellena’s assertion of potential ballot fraud.

“My campaign has received disturbing reports of official ballots being used to mislead voters in Portsmouth. Current State Representative Michelle McGaw and the wife of former RI Senator Seveney have been stationed outside polling locations, distributing official Rhode Island ballots that are purposely defaced,” Morgan wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter). She added: “These ballots have Democrats pre-selected, while Republican candidates’ names are whited out, making it impossible for voters to make an informed choice.”

According to Rhode Island General Law § 17-19-43, it is a crime to tamper with or deface a ballot. “Every person who willfully and without lawful authority destroys, secretes, removes, defaces, alters, tampers, or meddles with a sample ballot, shall be guilty of a felony,” the law reads.

Detroit and Surrounding Counties Suffer Election Day Issues.

Vote tabulators have reportedly failed to function across Monroe, Wayne, and Oakland Counties in Michigan. While Oakland County is considered a bellwether in the state, Monroe is a heavily Republican locality, and Wayne County encapsulates much of the greater Detroit area.

Additionally, a polling location in Northville, Michigan—a subdivision of Detroit—was permanently closed the morning of Election Day due to a gas leak. These issues could delay vote counting and keep polling places open past the legally mandated cutoff times for voters to cast their ballots.

Issues with voting machines and tabulators have been reported across the country—leading to concerns about the extent of pre-election testing and its thoroughness. Tabulators and machines have failed or malfunctioned in Pennsylvania’s Cambria and Luzerne Counties, Michigan’s Bay County, Virginia’s Caroline County, two New York precincts, and Arizona’s Apache County.

Concerningly, Fulton County, Georgia, is pushing to extend its voting hours after polling sites were briefly abandoned after receiving several bomb threats.

Bellwether County Turnout Suggests Trump Could Take Georgia.

Florida’s Duval County has voted to the left of Georgia in most recent presidential races, making it a fairly consistent measure of a candidate’s position in the state just to its north. As of this afternoon, Republicans lead the vote total in Duval with 41.4 percent to the Democrats’ 38.4. Meanwhile, independent voters are coming in at 17.5 percent as of 2:00 PM on Election Day.

While not a perfect predictor, the mid-day results from Duval County suggest President Donald J. Trump is in a good position not only in Florida County, which includes Jacksonville, but also in the State of Georgia. It should be noted that in 2020, Trump lost Duval County to his Democratic challenger, Joe Biden.

The tight race in Duval mirrors a similar result—albeit with a microscopic sample size—in New Hampshire‘s Dixville Notch. Both Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are deadlocked in the six-person New Hampshire village, which votes at 12:00 AM on Election Day—a 60-year American tradition. The residents of Dixville Notch voted five to zero for Joe Biden in 2020 and broke for Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Narrow Win for Harris in Guam’s Straw Poll, Exit Poll Suggests GOP Legislative Takeover.

The U.S. territory of Guam has voted for Kamala Harris in its non-binding straw poll on the U.S. presidency. However, her margin over former President Donald J. Trump is much tighter than that of Joe Biden in 2020, and an exit poll suggests that the GOP will take over the island’s legislature.

Harris eked out Trump with 49.46 percent to 46.22 percent support. In 2020, Biden won 55.38 percent, and in 2016, Hillary Clinton won 71.6 percent. If a similar swing towards Trump is replicated in formerly Democrat-voting areas in the U.S. proper, it could spell trouble for the Vice President.

Meanwhile, an exit poll for Guam’s legislative elections suggests the Republican Party will secure a majority for the first time since 2008.

Harry’s Bar in Paris – Which Is Usually Right – Trends Trump With U.S. Ex-Pat Straw Poll.

The legendary Harry’s Bar in Paris, France, is leaning toward a victory for President Donald J. Trump in a straw poll that has accurately predicted the winner of every presidential election, except for three, since 1924.

The National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam reported on X that the bar, which invented several iconic cocktails like the French 75 and the Bloody Mary, is leaning toward a Trump victory.

He posted a picture showing the bar’s straw poll, which has 383 votes for President Trump to 360 votes for Democrat Kamala Harris.

“The clientele are typically tourists and expats, and they hold a straw poll amongst those who can prove U.S. citizenship every election. Harry’s straw poll has only been wrong three times since 1924. This year, it’s trending Trump!” Kassam stated.

Several other informal polls have also predicted a Trump win, including a cookie poll at an Ohio bakery which predicted every election since 1984, except for the 2020 election. In Tampa, Florida, another cookie poll predicts a landslide victory for Trump.

Voting Machine Errors Disrupt Voting in Another PA County.

Technical issues in part of Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, caused significant delays, holding up would-be voters in West Pittston’s Ward 2 for nearly two hours. According to the Judge of Elections for Ward 2, the machines displayed an error message when polls opened.

While technicians worked to fix the issue, around 100 voters were issued emergency ballots to complete by hand. Unlike provisional ballots, these emergency ballots are treated the same as machine-cast votes, ensuring they are counted in the final tally. By 9 AM, workers resolved the technical issue, allowing the machines to resume normal operation.

Issues with voting machines and tabulators have also been reported in Pennsylvania’s Cambria County, Michigan’s Bay County, Virginia’s Caroline County, two New York precincts, and Arizona’s Apache County, with further issues rumored elsewhere.

Additionally, polling sites in Fulton County, Georgia, were briefly abandoned after receiving several bomb threats.
