Rep. Luna Convinced Trump Shooter Did Not Work Alone After Oversight Briefing.

Representative Anna Paulina Luna is convinced that Thomas Matthew Crooks, the gunman who attempted to assassinate President Donald J. Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, did not act alone. In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, Rep. Luna stated: “After leaving oversight briefing this am I am convinced now more than ever that Crooks was not working alone.”

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has gained access to Crook’s phone, recovered at the scene of the shooting. Still, they are having difficulties accessing encrypted foreign platforms used by him.

Authorities found a second phone at Crooks’ home, along with firearms and explosive devices.

Whistleblowers have previously testified that the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) was understaffed during the Trump rally in Butler, PA, where the attempted assassination took place. Additionally, whistleblowers say that most of Trump’s security detail was not comprised of USSS agents but relatively inexperienced Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents.

USSS  Director Kimberly Cheatle has claimed that agents were not positioned on the building Crooks scaled to fire on Trump due to its “sloped roof,” creating safety concerns. However, local law enforcement present at the rally countered the USSS director, noting that they had informed the chain of command of Crooks and his suspicious activity nearly half an hour before the shooting took place.

ICYMI: Populist Slovak Prime Minister Who Survived May Shooting Blames Anti-Trump Media for Assassination Attempt.

Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico, who survived an assassination attempt in May, has drawn comparisons between his experience and the recent attack on former President Donald J. Trump. The Slovak populist believes the media and political left stoking hatred fueled both incidents.

Fico criticized Slovak media outlets, referring to them as “adversary media,” “anti-Slovak press,” and “[George] Soros’s herd of pigs,” for inspiring his shooting.

“If Donald Trump’s attacker had spoken Slovak, after reading [Slovak newspapers], it would have been enough to incite him to ‘set things right’ with the former U.S. president,” Fico wrote.

Fico predicted Trump‘s enemies will now begin pushing a discourse “about the necessity of reconciliation, pacification, and forgiveness,” echoing the media rhetoric following his own assassination attempt.

Liberal media, celebrities, and others in the United States and the wider West have demonized President Trump for years.

BBC presenter David Aaronovitch recently called on President Joe Biden to “hurry up and have Trump murdered on the basis that he is a threat to America’s society” in a supposedly satirical post responding to a Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity.

Many media publications have directly compared Trump to Adolf Hitler, including the New Republic, The Washington Post, and Germany’s Stern magazine.

Nigel Farage has also blamed the media for feeding into hysteria regarding Trump, saying, “It’s so unpleasant, that I think it almost encourages this type of behavior.”

WATCH: Rioters Overturn Police Car With Several Arrested In Latest Ethnic Violence In UK.

Rioters in the Harehills area of the British city of Leeds flipped a police car and set a double-decker bus on fire after a conflict between child protective services and the parents of local children. The disturbance began around 5:00 PM local time on Thursday and continued for hours with police eventually gaining control and making several arrests.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed that multiple individuals have been detained, with further arrests anticipated in the coming days. Tracy Brabin, the region’s mayor, announced that patrols would increase to maintain peace in the area throughout Friday night and the weekend.

Assistant Chief Constable Pat Twiggs stated that officers responded to an address after reports from social workers encountering hostility during a child protection issue involving a Romanian Roma Gypsy heritage family. The parents of the seven children are alleged to have wanted to take them to Romania this Saturday before social services took five of them. Social services also alleged that they were concerned about the welfare of the children after one, a nine-month-old baby, had suffered an injury in April.

RIOTERS TOOK ADVANTAGE OF CHAOS.

Police were escorting agency workers taking children into protective custody when the situation escalated, prompting a call for additional support from dozens of officers.

Video footage circulating on social media shows large groups rioting and damaging the police vehicle, including throwing objects at it while officers were inside. The riots centered on Luxor Street, next to an area heavily populated by “Asians”—typically people with roots in South Asia (India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh) and the Middle East rather than the Far East, in British parlance.

Several roads were closed, and the public was advised to steer clear of the area.

JUST THE LATEST VIOLENCE.

The rioting comes just months after Muslims in Southall, West London attacked police while celebrating the end of Ramadan, throwing bricks and other objects at officers.

Senate Rejects Biden Judge Who Put Trans Child Rapist in Women’s Prison.

The U.S. Senate has rejected its first judicial nominee since Joe Biden took office. On Thursday, Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn’s nomination to the U.S. District Court bench failed to make it out of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Netburn’s nomination was opposed by Republican senators who found her decision to place a transgender child rapist in a women’s prison facility, despite warnings against the move by the Bureau of Prisons, to be disqualifying. The transgender convict subsequently exposed his male genitals to numerous women in the facility.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), a vocal opponent of the judge‘s nomination, highlighted the incident along with others where Netburn put female inmates at risk, seemingly in an effort to push a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) agenda in sentencing.

“Every one of us, every one of us would be horrified if a loved one found out she was the cellmate of a six-foot-two man who was a serial rapist,” Sen. Cruz said.

Meanwhile, Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) broke with his fellow Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee, siding with Republicans in the 10-11 vote to block the advancement of Netburn’s nomination to a lifetime appointment as a federal district court judge.

Transgender inmates in other women’s prisons have sexually assaulted female prisoners and even impregnated them. An inmate at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in New Jersey filed a lawsuit last year alleging that guards had refused to take corrective action against a transgender prisoner who had sexually assaulted her.

Whistleblowers Warn Biden Regime Is Trafficking Children to Fake ‘Sponsors,’ 85,000 Missing.

Approximately 85,000 children who crossed the U.S. border as unaccompanied minors are missing after being placed with sponsors. Government whistleblowers shared this information with a Senate panel on Tuesday. They said that children are often placed with individuals who are not their relatives and provided evidence of abuse and trafficking.

Tara Lee Rodas, a whistleblower with a 20-year federal career, described her experiences at the Pomona Fairplex Emergency Intake Site, where she served as Deputy to the Director of the Federal Case Management Team.

One case involved a 16-year-old Guatemalan girl named Carmen, who was placed with a man claiming to be her brother but who subsequently posted child pornography online.

Rodas also stated that gangs like MS-13 are involved in child placement. Despite warnings, authorities retaliated against her rather than investigate her claims.

Whistleblower Deborah White alleges that sponsors are rarely vetted face-to-face and fake documents are pervasive.

“Children were not going to their parents. Children were being trafficked with billions of taxpayer dollars by a contractor failing to vet sponsors and process children safely, with government officials complicit in it,” she said.

The oversight of sponsors by the Department of Human Services involved minimal follow-up, typically limited to a single phone call 30 days post-placement. By that time, many children could no longer be contacted.

Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra maintains that no children have gone missing from HHS custody; however, whistleblowers clarified that this claim was technically accurate only until transportation companies delivered the children to their sponsors. The children often went missing shortly thereafter.

WATCH: Woke Activists Complain Harsher Punishment of Pedophiles Will Impact ‘Marginalized’ LGBTQ and Ethnic Minority Predators.

California legislation making it a felony to solicit sex acts from minors is facing opposition from leftist activists. They argue the stronger penalties for such solicitation in Senate Bill 1414, put forward by State Senator Shannon Grove, would imprison too many pedophiles from LGBTQ and ethnic minority backgrounds.

“We are particularly concerned that the harsher penalties proposed in this bill will disproportionately impact marginalized communities, especially members of the LGBTQ community who already suffer from systematic biases within the criminal justice system, particularly when it comes to sexually-based offenses,” complained Kellie Walters, representing the Legal Services for Prisoners with Children organization, at a California State Assembly Public Safety Committee hearing.

“LGBTQ people, particularly gay and transgendered individuals, are more likely to be charged with sex offenses… For instance, LGBTQ people are nine times more likely to be charged with sodomy,” Walters said.

ETHNIC MINORITIES.

Isabella Borgeson, representing the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights organization, also complains that “harsher penalties” for pedophiles would “disproportionately impact marginalized communities.” She stressed “black and brown individuals” rather than homosexuals and transgenders.

Borgeson, wearing a mask, argued that “punitive measures” for pedophiles would “perpetuate cycles of incarceration,” recommending investment in “community-based solutions” instead.

In the past year, several high-profile LGBT activists have been linked to child abuse, including Canadian LGBTQ organization chief Sean Gravells. He was arrested on child sex abuse and pornography charges in British Columbia.

Last month, the head of the Maryland Democrat LGBT caucus, Michael Knaapen, was caught sending nude photographs and discussing rape fantasies with a person he believed to be a minor.

Chris Tomlinson contributed to this report.

Teen Shot Trying to Carjack Justice Sotomayor’s Federal Bodyguards.

U.S. Marshals shot an 18-year-old on Friday after he allegedly attempted to carjack federal bodyguards stationed outside Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor‘s home in Northwest Washington, D.C.

The incident occurred at around 1:15 AM when Kentrell Flowers approached a Deputy U.S. Marshal sitting in his car outside Sotomayor’s condominium.

Flowers reportedly pointed a handgun at the marshal in an effort to steal the vehicle. The marshal fired multiple shots at Flowers, and another marshal in a different vehicle also opened fire.

Flowers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. He has since been arrested and charged with armed carjacking, carrying a pistol without a license, and possession of a large-capacity ammunition feeding device. No law enforcement officers were harmed.

The U.S. Marshals Service confirms that the officers involved in the carjacking were part of Sotomayor’s protective detail.

The shooting underscores ongoing concerns about security and safety protocols around federal officials and their residences in Washington, D.C. It comes after a man was arrested outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home in 2022. The suspect was an abortion supporter plotting to kill the Donald Trump-appointed justice.

In November 2023, another incident saw Secret Service agents protecting Joe Biden’s granddaughter Naomi open fire on assailants attempting to break into an unmarked SUV. A month prior, Democrat Congressman Enrique ‘Henry’ Cuellar was carjacked outside an apartment block where dozens of lawmakers reside.

Earlier this year, former Trump official Mike Gill was killed in a D.C. carjacking spree.

Jack Montgomery contributed to this report.

Alec Baldwin Faces Just 18 Months for ‘Rust’ Killing.

Hollywood liberal Alec Baldwin appeared in a New Mexico court on Monday for a preliminary hearing ahead of his manslaughter trial for a fatal shooting on the set of his Western film Rust. Jury selection is scheduled to begin Tuesday, with the trial expected to last ten days.

Baldwin, 66, faces a single felony charge of involuntary manslaughter and could potentially serve up to 18 months in prison following the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. The incident occurred in October 2021 during a rehearsal. Baldwin was practicing a maneuver with a revolver, which discharged, killing Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. Baldwin has pleaded not guilty, contending that the gun fired accidentally.

Prosecutors aim to present evidence that the firearm could not have fired without the trigger being pulled and that it was in proper working condition before the incident. Last week, Judge Sommer permitted firearms experts to testify regarding Baldwin’s handling of the revolver and its functionality.

In April, Hannah Guttierez-Reed, the armorer on the Rust set, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for her role in Hutchins’s death and sentenced to 18 months in prison.

Following the shooting in 2021, the production of Rust resumed in Montana under an agreement with Hutchins’s widower, Matthew Hutchins, who became an executive producer. Despite completing filming, the movie has yet to be released to the public.

American Carnage: Fourth of July Weekend Sees 109 Shot, 19 Killed in Chicago.

Chicago, set to host the Democratic National Convention next month, experienced a rash of gun violence over the Fourth of July weekend. According to police reports, 109 people were shot, with at least 19 fatalities, an increase of 27 percent from the previous year.

Police data indicates that from 6 PM CT on July 3 to 6 AM CT on July 7, gunfire struck at least 100 individuals, resulting in 17 deaths. An additional two individuals were shot and killed later on July 7, police reported.

City officials canceled police officers’ time off to “maximize presence and ensure prompt incident response.” Despite these measures, the shootings continued. An 8-year-old boy was among the fatalities, shot alongside two other boys aged 5 and 8, based on the Chicago Police Department’s records. Several teenagers aged 15 to 16 were also among the shooting victims.

Local media documented 73 shootings and 11 fatalities during the previous year’s holiday weekend in 2023. Across 2023, Chicago reported 617 homicides.

On top of the rampant gun violence, the city is also dealing with the influx of illegal immigrants, which it has struggled to cope with. An April report revealed that Chicago had spent nearly $300 million on migrant shelters since 2022 for over 38,000 illegals.

Britain’s New Leader Plans to Unleash 40,000 Prisoners on the Public Early.

Labour Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is expected to use emergency powers to release as many as 40,000 prisoners early in the first days of his premiership. Sources at the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) say they are facing an “immediate” and “severe” overcrowding crisis, with fewer than 700 open spaces in English and Welsh prisons.

Officials have advised Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood that prisons will reach full capacity by August 1, with early release on license for criminals 40 percent of the way through their terms being the top-rated option for dealing with the crisis.

Currently, most prisoners serving non-life sentences receive early release on license halfway through their terms. Mahmood’s Conservative Party predecessor, Alex Chalk, sought permission from then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to implement mass releases, but Sunak refused.

Prime Minister Starmer is “expected to authorise emergency measures” so prisoners serving under four years are released earlier “this week,” according to The Times.

Overcrowding was a perennial argument for weaker sentences under both the previous Conservative government and the previous Labour government. Longstanding claims that expanding the prison estate would be too expensive have been undermined by Britain’s illegal immigration crisis, with billions of pounds being found to host tens of thousands of boat migrants in hotels and other locations seemingly overnight.

Prime Minister Starmer has already improved the situation for illegal aliens, scrapping a plan to transfer boat migrants to Rwanda, despite hundreds of millions of pounds having been invested in the scheme already, on his first day in office.
