Town’s First Vape Store Closed Down Within Months After Becoming Hub for ‘Crime and Antisocial Behavior.’

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The first vape store in West Kirby, England, was shut down due to “criminality and antisocial behaviour.”

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Wirral Council, The West Kirby Vape Shop, and its director, Khalid Qader.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The store was closed in March 2026; it was located in West Kirby, in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral.

🎯IMPACT: The closure order underscores the link between vape stores and criminal activity, dangerous goods, and illegal working.

IN FULL

The first vape store to open in West Kirby, England, has been forced to close just months after launching in October 2025, due to “criminality and antisocial behaviour.” Wirral Council enforcement officers who inspected the premises discovered a suspicious mattress on the floor in a back room, along with illegal cigarettes and illegal vapes.

Community complaints about the business surfaced shortly after it began operating. Andrea Fitzgerald, speaking for Wirral Council in court, said that someone had been found working there illegally and that counterfeit cigarettes were discovered. Kevin Burn, a tobacco compliance officer, said dozens of illegal vapes and several suspect bottles of Coca-Cola without proper labeling were also found, indicating multiple additional violations of regulations.

The court was informed that the shop’s director, Khalid Qader, is connected to another vape business in Oswestry, Shropshire, where officers intercepted a staff member attempting to flee with a suitcase and a shopping bag holding 5,000 illegal cigarettes. Vape stores are associated with similar issues in the United States, with a recent series of raids in Kinston, North Carolina, seeing four people arrested and drugs and millions in cash seized.

Previous investigations have found strong links between vape stores, which are spreading in numbers far beyond the market demand for them, and organized crime, human trafficking, drug dealing, and illegal immigration.

They are also a serious risk to life and the heritage of the communities they are proliferating in, with an unregistered vape store in Glasgow, Scotland, recently burning down a 175-year-old landmark. It also caused the country’s largest railway station, located nearby, to close down, throwing the transport network into days of ongoing chaos.

Trump Set to Extend D.C.’s National Guard Deployment Until 2029.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Pentagon will maintain the National Guard presence in Washington, D.C., until 2029.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Donald J. Trump, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, National Guard members, and local D.C. residents.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Washington, D.C., through 2029 during Trump’s term.

🎯IMPACT: The National Guard presence has coincided with a sharp decline in crime, but sparked resistance from Democrat lawmakers and far-left political groups.

IN FULL

The Trump administration is expected to extend the deployment of National Guard members in Washington, D.C. until 2029. While the Pentagon has not formally announced the deployment extension, it is anticipated that the order will soon be approved by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, with the National Guard presence remaining in the nation’s capital until the end of President Donald J. Trump‘s second term in office.

The National Guard deployment across the capital has coincided with a notable reduction in violent crime, with the initial deployment last summer first extended until February 2026, and subsequently extended again in January until the end of the year. The National Pulse previously reported that data published by Washington, D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) shows that, year-to-date, homicides were down 80 percent, robberies down 58 percent, burglaries down 58 percent, car thefts down 57 percent, and crime across the board down 26 percent.

Additionally, the Washington, D.C., metro area’s public transit system announced this past January that 2025 saw the lowest crime rate on the subway and bus networks in decades. This precipitous drop in crime appears directly tied to the National Guard presence around the city.

The deployment has met with minor opposition, mainly from Democrat lawmakers on Capitol Hill and far-left activist groups that have organized small protests across the city. However, a survey of Washington, D.C. residents during the initial deployment last August shows that 54 percent of voters in the capital believe President Trump’s crackdown on violent crime and National Guard deployment is justified and necessary.

Still, attempts by the Trump administration to expand the successful crackdown on crime in Washington, D.C., to other major American cities have proven difficult. In mid-February, the Pentagon ended the federal deployment of National Guard troops in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Portland. This followed months of Democrat-led lawfare against the deployments.

Comey Subpoenaed Over ‘Grand Conspiracy’ Against Trump.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey has been subpoenaed in a federal case alleging a “grand conspiracy” among officials who investigated and prosecuted President Donald J. Trump.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: James Comey, John Brennan, Jack Smith, and other officials are reportedly targets of the investigation led by federal prosecutor Jason A. Reding Quiñones.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The investigation has been ongoing since last year and is based in Florida, with the Comey subpoena issued in March 2026.

🎯IMPACT: The probe seeks to tie multiple former federal officials to a conspiracy against President Trump, with over 130 subpoenas issued so far.

IN FULL

Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey has been served with a subpoena as part of a federal investigation into allegations that several former federal officials engaged in a “grand conspiracy” to prosecute President Donald J. Trump and effectively interfere in two U.S presidential elections. The federal probe, led by the United States Attorney for the District of Southern Florida Jason A. Reding Quiñones, has issued over 30 subpoenas since its inception last year.

Among the investigations‘ prime subjects are Comey, former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director and American Communist Party voter John Brennan, and former Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) special counsel Jack Smith. Notably, Brennan was the central actor in promoting and popularizing the 2016 election’s Russia collusion hoax, while Smith oversaw the Arctic Frost scandal that resulted in two failed attempts to prosecute Trump ahead of the 2024 presidential race.

The newest subpoena for Comey is believed to be related to Brennan and the Russia collusion hoax, specifically focusing on the drafting of a January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA), which gave undue credence to the discredited Steele Dossier.

It is believed that Reding Quiñones also plans to revive the DOJ’s prior efforts to prosecute Comey for allegedly giving false testimony to Congress in 2020. That case was dismissed after a judge ruled that Lindsey Halligan, a Trump-appointed interim U.S. Attorney, was unlawfully serving in her role. Halligan’s prosecutions, including cases against Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James, were thrown out as a result.

House Panel Summons Soros-Backed Prosecutor for Releasing Violent Migrants.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: House Republicans have summoned two top Fairfax County law enforcement officials, including a prosecutor backed by George Soros, for a hearing on the consequences of sanctuary-style policies after violent crimes involving illegal immigrants released from custody raised federal concerns.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Fairfax County Sheriff Stacey Ann Kincaid, Fairfax Commonwealth’s Attorney Steven Descano, and House Judiciary Committee members, including Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Subcommittee Chairman Tom McClintock (R-CA).

📍WHEN & WHERE: The hearing is scheduled for April 15 at the Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill. The officials have until Monday to confirm their attendance.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The hearing will examine how state and local policies that prohibit cooperation with federal immigration authorities hurt public safety,” wrote Jordan and McClintock in their letters.

🎯IMPACT: The case highlights growing scrutiny on sanctuary policies, particularly those that prioritize illegal immigrants over public safety.

IN FULL

House Republicans are summoning two of Fairfax County, Virginia’s top law enforcement officials to testify at an Immigration Integrity, Security and Enforcement Subcommittee hearing on April 15, entitled “Fairfax County, Virginia – The Dangerous Consequences of Sanctuary City Policies.” Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Subcommittee Chairman Tom McClintock (R-CA) issued letters late Tuesday to Fairfax County Sheriff Stacey Ann Kincaid and Fairfax Commonwealth’s Attorney Steven Descano, requesting their testimony, with a deadline of next Monday to respond.

“The hearing will examine how state and local policies that prohibit cooperation with federal immigration authorities hurt public safety,” Jordan and McClintock wrote, adding, “Your testimony will assist the Committee and Subcommittee in developing legislative reforms to address sanctuary jurisdictions.”

Descano, whose campaigns have reportedly received over $700,000 from organizations backed by George Soros, has faced scrutiny for dropping charges against illegal immigrants, including Salvadoran national Marvin Morales-Ortez. Morales-Ortez was released despite a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer and later allegedly murdered a man in Reston, Virginia.

Even more recently, Descano’s office has faced backlash over its failure to pursue charges against Abdul Jalloh, a 32-year-old illegal immigrant from Sierra Leone with an extensive criminal history, including over 30 arrests. Among Jalloh’s prior criminal counts are rape, malicious wounding, assault, drug possession, identity theft, and more, but charges against him were frequently dropped by Descano’s office. In late February, Jalloh stabbed 41-year-old Stephanie Minter to death at a bus stop along Richmond Highway in Fairfax County, and is currently facing a charge of murder.

Meanwhile, the Fairfax County Police Department and Sheriff’s Office are restricted from cooperating with ICE under policies enacted by the Democratic-controlled county government. “Fairfax County does not and will not enforce civil federal immigration laws,” the county website states.

Principal Who Celebrated Charlie Kirk’s Assassination Convicted of Pedophilia Offenses.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A former Oregon high school principal who celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk has been sentenced for possessing and sharing child sex abuse images.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Jeremy P. Williams, former principal of Rainier Junior/Senior High School.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Williams was sentenced in March 2026 in Columbia County, Oregon.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Authorities received automatic alerts from several social media sites.” – Cowlitz County Chief Criminal Deputy Troy Brightbill

🎯IMPACT: Williams was sentenced to over five years in prison and registered as a sex offender.

IN FULL

Jeremy P. Williams, the former principal of Rainier Junior/Senior High School in Oregon, has been sentenced to five years and one month in prison after being convicted of possessing and sharing child sexual abuse material. Investigators identified Williams, who lives in Longview, Washington, after social media companies flagged explicit content tied to him.

Before his arrest, Williams had been placed on paid administrative leave over remarks he made about conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who had been assassinated in Utah about a week earlier. Williams had led the school since 2022 and retired in November, earning $99,500 annually.

Cowlitz County Chief Criminal Deputy Troy Brightbill said authorities found no evidence that any students from Williams’ school were involved in the material. The case was heard in Cowlitz County Superior Court, where Judge Thad Scudder issued the sentence and ordered Williams to register as a sex offender. In addition to his prison term, he must pay $3,000 in fees and complete three years of probation after release.

Williams’s earlier comments about Charlie Kirk came amid wider national controversy after the organizer’s assassination. Many educators faced consequences for celebrating or justifying the killing, with more than 100 teachers suspended in Texas. Elsewhere, teachers were fired, although some filed lawsuits challenging their dismissals.

One activist claimed to have collected more than 51,000 tips identifying individuals who allegedly expressed support for the assassination online.

Transgender Activist Charged with Infant Rape.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A man identifying as transgender was charged with the rape of an infant girl in Washington.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: William Kelso Flournoy IV, also known as “Isabelle” or “Izzy,” and Tacoma Police.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The arrest occurred on March 5, 2026, in Tacoma, Washington.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I spoke with the lead detective, and he is actively investigating this case and continuing to run down all leads.” – Officer Shelbie Boyd

🎯IMPACT: Flournoy’s arrest raises concerns about potential additional victims.

IN FULL

A Washington man who identifies as transgender has been arrested and charged with the rape of an infant girl. William Kelso Flournoy IV, who uses the name “Isabelle” or “Izzy,” was charged last week with first-degree rape of a child and sexual exploitation of a minor.

Tacoma police launched an investigation after receiving a priority CyberTip from Google through a database for Internet crimes against children, according to Reduxx. Detectives identified Flournoy as the suspect using an associated IP address and distinctive physical features visible in video of the rape. The victim was quickly located, and her parents confirmed her identity. They told investigators that in 2023, while living in a motel and working multiple jobs, they had invited Flournoy and his partner to stay with them and assist with childcare.

On social media, Flournoy describes himself as a “youth advocate” and maintains accounts under the name Isabelle. The Tacoma Police Department Incident Report notes that Flournoy was arrested by an FBI task force while residing at an assisted living shelter for transients.

Flournoy previously volunteered with the Youth Action Board, a youth-led group affiliated with the REACH Center in Tacoma that focuses on issues affecting young people experiencing homelessness. Detectives intend to contact the REACH Center due to concerns about potential additional victims.

Flournoy entered a not guilty plea at his arraignment, where bail was set at $1 million. Last July, Flournoy faced separate accusations of possessing and dealing in illicit material.

Raids on Vape Stores See Four Arrests, Drugs and Millions in Cash Seized.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Four men were arrested and $2.3 million was seized during raids at vape stores in Kinston, North Carolina.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Fatehi Alshoabi, Khaled Almaqaleh, Ibrahim Nagi, and Emad Ali were arrested.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The raids took place in March 2026 in Kinston, involving 26 businesses and eight homes.

💬KEY QUOTE: “When we’re consistently getting complaints from our community members, specifically parents with children 15, 16, 17 years old going to these shops to buy illegal narcotics, we’re going to take it extremely seriously.” – Chief Keith Goyette

🎯IMPACT: The operation provides more evidence that vape stores are hubs for organized crime and dealing illegal narcotics, on both sides of the Atlantic.

IN FULL

Police in Kinston, North Carolina, conducted a series of raids at vape stores, resulting in the arrest of four men and the seizure of $2.347 million in cash. The operation, known as Operation Wintergreen, involved searches of 26 businesses and eight homes.

The arrested men are Fatehi Alshoabi, Khaled Almaqaleh, Ibrahim Nagi, and Emad Ali, all facing various charges related to drug possession and sales. Police confiscated nearly 110 pounds of THC and almost eight pounds of khat, an illegal stimulant popular in Somalia and the wider Horn of Africa region.

Kinston Police Chief Keith Goyette emphasized the operation’s focus on safeguarding youth from illegal narcotics. He stated, “When we’re consistently getting complaints from our community members, specifically parents with children 15, 16, 17 years old going to these shops to buy illegal narcotics, we’re going to take it extremely seriously.”

Goyette mentioned that more than 34 search warrants have been issued during the three-month operation, which is set to conclude next Tuesday. However, efforts to combat illegal drug activity will persist beyond the operation’s end.

Despite the raids, the targeted vape stores reportedly remain open, with Chief Goyette clarifying that the police aim to stop crime rather than closing businesses. However, vape stores on both sides of the Atlantic are frequently linked to organized crime, human trafficking, and illegal immigration. They are also frequently hazardous to their neighborhoods, with an unregistered vape store in Glasgow, Scotland, recently causing a fire that burned down a 175-year-old city landmark and caused Scotland’s largest railway station to close.

Austin Terror Suspect Was Previously Let Off With a Plea Deal for Hit-and-Run.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Ndiaga Diagne—the 53-year-old naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Senegal who was fatally shot by police after attacking Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden in Austin, Texas, on March 1 in what is a suspected act of terrorism—previously faced a felony charge that was later reduced to a misdemeanor and then ultimately dismissed.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Ndiaga Diagne, a 53-year-old naturalized U.S. citizen born in Senegal, was identified as the suspect. Victims include Savitha Shan, Ryder Harrington, and Jorge Pederson.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The attack occurred on March 1 outside Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden in Austin, Texas, shortly before 2 AM. Diagne’s prior arrest occurred in 2022, with his probation ending in 2024.

🎯IMPACT: Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis confirmed that Diagne legally acquired the firearms used in the attack in San Antonio several years ago, something he may not have been able to do if the felony charge against him had been pursued.

IN FULL

Ndiaga Diagne—the 53-year-old naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Senegal who was fatally shot by police after attacking  Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden in Austin, Texas, on March 1 in what is a suspected act of terrorism—previously faced a felony charge that was later reduced to a misdemeanor and then ultimately dismissed. The March 1 terrorist attack resulted in three fatalities, with 14 others injured.

According to court documents, Diagne had previously faced a felony charge related to a December 2022 hit-and-run, but pleaded guilty to a reduced misdemeanor charge. He completed probation in July 2024, and the case was dismissed. The records state witnesses saw Diagne, who was driving a Black Cadillac Escalade at the time, erratically changing highway lanes before he collided with another vehicle, pushing the victim into the cable barriers in the median of the highway.

Diagne allegedly fled the scene and was later tracked down by law enforcement after witnesses provided his license plate number. When confronted by a Texas Highway Patrol officer, Diagne denied that he had caused the crash or fled the scene, instead claiming he had been traveling to Houston at the time. The incident report notes that the Black Cadillac Escalade present in Diagne’s driveway at the time had damage consistent with a hit-and-run.

Despite initially lying to law enforcement about his involvement in the crash, Diagne entered into a plea agreement to a lesser misdemeanor charge. A Texas judge also agreed to place Diagne on probation under deferred adjudication, meaning that if he completed his probationary terms, the finding of guilt would not be entered into his record. After successfully completing his probationary program in July 2024, the misdemeanor charge against Diagne was dismissed.

Following the March 1 terrorist attack, photos of Diagne’s corpse circulated on social media, revealing he was wearing a “Property of Allah” hooded sweatshirt and an Iranian flag t-shirt underneath. The attack left three people dead—Savitha Shan, 21, Ryder Harrington, 19, and Jorge Pedersen, 30—and injured over a dozen others. Meanwhile, Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis confirmed that Diagne legally acquired the firearms used in the attack in San Antonio several years ago, something he may not have been able to do if the felony charge against him had been pursued.

Newsom’s Former Chief of Staff Collected $62,000 in Taxpayer Dollars While Under FBI Investigation.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Former Chief of Staff to California Governor Gavin Newsom (D), Dana Williamson, continued receiving taxpayer-funded payouts while on leave during an investigation into alleged corruption.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Dana Williamson, Gov. Gavin Newsom, Democratic lobbyist Greg Campbell, and Deputy Attorney General Sean McCluskie.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The taxpayer-funded payments occurred in 2025; Williamson was placed on leave in December 2024. Indictments were announced in California in November 2025.

🎯IMPACT: Raises concerns over California’s financial policies amid a $17.7 billion budget shortfall and ongoing corruption investigations.

IN FULL

Governor Gavin Newsom‘s (D-CA) former chief of staff, Dana Williamson, received over $62,000 in taxpayer dollars in 2025 despite being on leave as part of an ongoing criminal corruption investigation. This included $30,000 for unused vacation time and $22,000 for remaining time off, as allowed under California’s policy for cashing out unused vacation time.

The National Pulse reported last November that Williamson, who served as Newsom’s top aide until 2024, was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and charged with public corruption. The charges, part of a federal indictment, accuse Williamson and her co-conspirators of engaging in a scheme involving wire and bank fraud.

The indictment names Greg Campbell, Sean McCluskie, and two others alongside Williamson, and alleges a conspiracy to divert funds from the dormant political campaign of former Biden Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary and California Attorney General Xavier Becerra for personal use. The indictment outlines 23 counts, each carrying significant penalties. Federal attorneys contend that Williamson conspired to divert approximately $225,000 in campaign funds between 2022 and 2024. Investigators reportedly recorded a 2024 high-level meeting with Williamson and two co-conspirators in which they discussed the scheme.

Notably, California’s fund for paying out unused vacation time is unfunded and owes workers $5.6 billion. This comes amid an estimated $17.7 billion budget shortfall, according to the Legislative Analyst’s Office.

Both Campbell and McCluskie have pleaded guilty to the charges. Meanwhile, Williamson is also accused of falsifying COVID Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans and filing fraudulent tax forms to claim over $1 million in business deductions, which were allegedly used for personal expenses and vacations. Williamson has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting her next court date, expected in April.

Another Illegal Alien Trucker Leaves a U.S. Citizen in Critical Condition.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: An illegal alien truck driver was accused of causing a crash that left a U.S. citizen in critical condition in Indianapolis, Indiana.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Sukhdev Singh, a 25-year-old illegal alien, and a U.S. citizen pedestrian.

📍WHEN & WHERE: March 6, at E Raymond Street and I-65 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

💬KEY QUOTE: “It is common sense: illegal aliens should not be operating 18-wheelers on American highways.” – DHS Deputy Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis

🎯IMPACT: Renewed scrutiny on state policies allowing illegal immigrants to obtain commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs).

IN FULL

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested Sukhdev Singh, an illegal immigrant truck driver accused of causing a crash that left a U.S. citizen in critical condition in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred on March 6 at E Raymond Street and I-65, where Singh allegedly struck a pedestrian.

Indiana State Police responded to the scene and took Singh into custody, contacting ICE when they discovered the truck driver was an illegal immigrant. ICE officials later confirmed Singh’s arrest and stated that he will remain in custody pending the outcome of his immigration proceedings. The victim was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition as of the latest update.

Singh, who held a commercial driver’s license (CDL) issued by Democrat-run New York, has drawn renewed attention to state policies regarding the issuance of CDLs to illegal immigrants. The National Pulse reported last December that U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Sean Duffy had warned New York it could lose $73 million in federal highway funding following a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) audit which revealed that 53 percent of sampled CDLs issued by the New York Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) were unlawfully granted to foreign nationals residing in the U.S. illegally.

In February, the Trump administration moved to shut down an estimated 8,000 sham truck driving schools that served as conduits for illegal immigrants to obtain CDLs. The FMCSA has found that, in that month alone, 550 CDL truck driving schools and training facilities violated its standards.

“It is common sense: illegal aliens should not be operating 18-wheelers on American highways,” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said in a statement, continuing, “We are praying this individual makes a full recovery. It is incredibly dangerous for illegal aliens, who often don’t know our traffic laws or even English, to be operating 18-wheelers on America’s roads.”

“Sanctuary governors like Kathy Hochul must stop giving illegal aliens driver’s licenses before even more Americans get injured or killed,” Bis added.
