Kamala: More Cops on the Street Doesn’t Lead to More Safety.

Vice President Kamala Harris backed the “defund the police” movement in 2020, with the George Floyd unrest spreading and Joe Biden looking to select a running mate. She claimed it is “wrong” to say more police officers means more safety and that police budgets should be reexamined.

In a June 2020 interview with New York radio show Ebro in the Morning, Harris said, “defund the police, the issue behind it is that we need to reimagine how we are creating safety.”

“[W]hen you have many cities that have one-third of their entire city budget focused on policing, we know that is not the smart way and the best way or the right way to achieve safety,” she claimed. “For too long the status quo thinking has been you get more safety by putting more cops on the street. Well, that’s wrong,” she insisted.

“[T]his whole movement is about rightly saying, we need to take a look at these budgets and figure out whether it reflects the right priorities,” she said, arguing that “militarizing police departments” is “not working.”

“It has to be about forcing change… I was out there with folks; any movement, any progress we have made has been because people took to the streets. And that’s what we’re seeing today, and it gives me a sense of hope,” she added.

Harris’s team is stressing her background as a California prosecutor to make her more palatable to moderate voters. However, former President Donald J. Trump has pointed out she was not a law-and-order prosecutor but “the original Marxist district attorney.”

Trump: Soft-on-Crime Kamala was the ‘Original Marxist District Attorney.’

Despite once being rated the most liberal Democratic senator, Vice President Kamala Harris is selling herself to independents as a moderate former prosecutor without the anti-law enforcement, defund-the-police baggage that weighs down much of her party. Former President Donald J. Trump argues this is spin and that she is a soft-on-crime radical.

“Now that she’s running for President, Kamala‘s suddenly trying to transform her personality to pretend she’s tough on crime,” Trump said at a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina. “In fact, Kamala Harris was the original Marxist district attorney. She was the first of them… You hear all about them in Philadelphia, in Los Angeles. She was the first; she was worse than any of them,” he argued.

The America First leader said Harris supports ending cash bail—”If you murder somebody, just go home and relax, murder another couple of people—as well as “stripping police officers of legal protections” and “ending jail sentences for parole violators.”

Trump stressed that, in 2020, Harris “helped raise $35 million to bail out criminals released from jail after they shot at our police, looted stores, sexually assaulted innocent victims, and committed many other very serious crimes.”

He cited Shawn Michael Tillman as one of the beneficiaries of the Harris-backed bailout fund. Tillman is “a repeat offender who, with Harris’s help, was set free. He then went on to murder a man on a train platform in St. Paul, Minnesota.”

“Kamala Harris wants to be the President for savage criminals, illegal aliens. I will be the President for law-abiding Americans of every race, religion, color, and creed,” Trump vowed.

Muslims Surround Police Station After Attack on Woman Officer Ends in Rough Arrest.

Hundreds of Muslim demonstrators in the rape gang hotspot of Rochdale, England, surrounded a local police station after footage of a Muslim man being roughly arrested at Manchester Airport went viral on social media. Footage shows an officer kicking the man, who has apparently been tasered, in the face as he lifts his head from a prone position. The officer then stamps on him.

The arrested man had allegedly been involved in a violent attack on police that left a woman officer with a broken nose. Two other officers were also injured and required hospital treatment.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) suspended the officer who kicked the suspect, named as Fahir, on Thursday citing the “deep concerns that have been widely raised with us” about the incident.

The previous night, hundreds of Muslim demonstrators had surrounded the Rochdale police station where Fahir and another Muslim arrested at the airport, named as Amaad, were being held.

“[T]omorrow, I tell you boys, if we don’t get justice, yeah, these motherf***ers are gonna get it!” says one activist through a loudspeaker, in footage of the “protest” downloaded from TikTok. People commenting on the video can be seen calling for a riot.

A longer video of the same speech shows the speaker and mob chanting, “Allahu Akbar!”

France Is No Longer France: Tourist Gang Raped by Five ‘African-Type’ Men in Paris.

A 25-year-old Australian woman was publicly gang-raped by five “African-type” men in Paris, France, on the night of July 20. Such crimes are becoming increasingly common in multicultural Paris, which is set to host the Summer Olympics from July 26 to August 11.

This incident follows a similar case involving a British tourist who was raped and robbed during the Fête de la Musique on June 22. The suspects in that case are yet to be apprehended. Another Briton, a female police officer on vacation, was raped at knifepoint in October of last year at the base of the Eiffel Tower.

In June, a 12-year-old Jewish girl was gang raped in a suburb of the French capital, by two 13-year-olds who were also accused of berating the victim with anti-Semitic insults.

In 2023, the Paris police reported 93 cases of rapes occurring in public spaces like streets and parks, a slight increase from 92 cases in the previous year.

Former President Donald J. Trump has expressed his own concerns about the state of Paris, saying the city was no longer recognizable earlier this year in May, and that Europe has “opened its doors to jihad.”

Disgraced New Jersey Democrat Bob Menendez to Resign from U.S. Senate.

Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) is set to resign his seat in the United States Senate effective August 20, 2024 according to sources close to the New Jersey Democrat. Menendez was convicted on multiple counts of corruption and fraud on July 16, stemming from allegations he acted as an unregistered foreign agent on behalf of the governments of Egypt and Qatar.

Each count carries a potential sentence of upwards of 20 years. Among the charges, Menendez has been found guilty of conspiracy to commit bribery, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to commit extortion, and obstruction of justice. The New Jersey Democrat’s home was raided by federal agents last year as part of an investigation into his ties with businessman Jose Uribe and the Egyptian and Qatari governments.

According to federal prosecutors, Menendez and his wife Nadine received payments in cash, gold bars, and a luxury vehicle for their efforts on behalf of Uribe and the Egyptian government. Consequently, the scheme to ensure military aid for Egypt ran through Menendez’s wife and Wael “Will” Hana, an Egyptian-American businessman. The U.S. Department of Justice indicted the Democratic power couple in September 2023.

Earlier this year, Menendez announced he would seek reelection to the Senate as an independent. Currently, he is set to face off against Democrat Rep. Andy Kim (D-NJ) and Republican Curtis Bashaw in November. However, given the latest revelations regarding his resignation, it is unclear if Menendez will continue this independent bid.

The New Jersey Senator faces sentencing on October 29. Meanwhile, a trial for Menendez’s wife, Nadine, has been delayed as she receives treatment for breast cancer.

Another Lee Rigby? Masked, Black Male Arrested After Brutal Attack on Soldier Near Base.

A 24-year-old has been arrested for attempted murder after launching a brutal knife attack on a British soldier in full uniform near his barracks in Sally Port Gardens, Chatham, on Tuesday. Eyewitness accounts say the suspect leaped from a moped near Brompton Barracks, where Royal Engineers soldiers are trained, and fell upon the unnamed serviceman, stabbing him multiple times. He is reportedly in critical condition.

Images of the suspect show him wearing a ski mask and a NASA bomber jacket. Only his hands are visible due to his face being blurred. They appear to show he is black.

Neither the suspect nor his victim, reportedly a man in his forties, have been named, and the authorities had offered no motivation for the attack as of the time of publication. However, terrorism has not been ruled out.

In 2013, Royal Fusiliers drummer and machine-gun operator Lee Rigby was run down by a car and almost decapitated by British-Nigerian jihadists Michael Olumide Adebolajo and Michael Oluwatobi Adebowale near his barracks in Woolwich, London.

The pair were linked to Pakistani-British hate preacher Anjem Choudary, who was convicted of directing a terrorist organization shortly before the Sally Port Gardens attack.

Some commentators, including former Metropolitan Police detective Peter Bleklsey, believe Choudary’s conviction and the attack at Sally Port Gardens are likely to be connected.

WATCH: Gaetz Backs Bukele’s Super Prison in El Salvador.

Representative Matt Gaetz has visited the Center for the Confinement of Terrorism (CECOT) in El Salvador, where President Nayib Bukele has confined thousands of gang members to dramatically lower the Latin American country’s once-notorious crime rates.

“The people in the United States of America are very grateful for the State of Exception, and we’re very grateful that CECOT exists so that these criminals are not harming the people of El Salvador or harming the people of the United States,” said the Florida Congressman, in reference to the state of emergency Bukele has instituted to smash El Salvador’s gangs.

“A lot of the people behind me would have found a way to make their way to the United States and harm Americans, and we are grateful to President Bukele and his administration for establishing security and the State of Exception, and for all the good work people do here to keep everyone else safe,” Gaetz continued.

“El Salvador is a country on the rise because people are safe and they are hopeful,” he added.

TRUMP.

Bukele, who defended former U.S. President Donald J. Trump when Democrats were attempting to exclude him from primary ballots, earned many international supporters on the populist right for his achievements in slashing crime. However, Trump appeared to criticize him at the recent Republican National Convention.

“A certain country and I happen to like the president of that country very much, but he’s been getting great publicity because he’s a wonderful shepherd of the country. He says how well the country’s doing because their crime rate is down,” Trump said.

“In El Salvador, murders are down 70 percent. Why are they down? … [T]hey’re down because they’re sending their murderers to the United States of America,” he argued.

It is likely Trump is signaling he expects a streamlined deal on deporting Salvadoran criminals, such as MS-13 gang members, when he is reelected.

As President, Trump enjoyed good relations with Bukele, signing a cooperation agreement with the populist leader and praising him for doing “an incredible job with MS-13.”

“He realizes what a threat they are, and they have been very, very tough, and we all appreciate that,” Trump said in 2019.

Congressman Re-Enacted Trump Shooting, Landed 15 of 16 ‘Killshots.’

Republican Representative Pat Fallon of Texas slammed United States Secret Service (USSDS) director Kimberly Cheatle over her agency’s failures during the attempted assassination of Donald J. Trump, saying he re-created the shooting and managed to hit 15 out of 16 kill shots.

Fallon said that he used his own AR-15, firing eight shots with a red dot and eight shots with a magnified scope.

“The one I missed would have hit the president’s ear. That’s a 94 percent success rate, and that shooter was a better shot than me. It is a miracle President Trump wasn’t killed,” Fallon said.

Fallon questioned Cheatle during a July 22 House Oversight Committee hearing, asking her how 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks outwitted and outsmarted her agency.

Cheatle admitted she knew of the heightened threat to Trump, which was later disclosed as Iranian in origin but did not increase Trump’s security.

“You just said you had the ability to beef up the security. You knew about the threat, and you didn’t. And that’s as telling as it is chilling,” Fallon said.

SECRET SERVICE CHIEF SNUBS SITE VISIT.

Cheatle confessed she had never visited the shooting location in the nine days since the shooting.

“The shooter had visited the site two times more than you have,” Fallon said, noting that Crooks had used a drone to scout out the best possible place to open fire from.

Previously, Cheatle had claimed no agents were on the building where Crooks took his shot due to the supposed sloped roof.

Fallon highlighted the fact that other USSS snipers were placed on buildings with even steeper sloped roofs, calling Cheatle’s statements “pathetic excuses.”

“I believe your horrifying ineptitude and lack of skilled leadership is a disgrace. Your obfuscating today is shameful, and you should be fired immediately and go back to guarding Doritos,” Fallon concluded.

Fallon was not the only member of the committee to slam Cheatle, as Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-R), told Cheatle she was “full of shit” during her questioning.

Rep. Luna Convinced Trump Shooter Did Not Work Alone After Oversight Briefing.

Representative Anna Paulina Luna is convinced that Thomas Matthew Crooks, the gunman who attempted to assassinate President Donald J. Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, did not act alone. In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, Rep. Luna stated: “After leaving oversight briefing this am I am convinced now more than ever that Crooks was not working alone.”

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has gained access to Crook’s phone, recovered at the scene of the shooting. Still, they are having difficulties accessing encrypted foreign platforms used by him.

Authorities found a second phone at Crooks’ home, along with firearms and explosive devices.

Whistleblowers have previously testified that the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) was understaffed during the Trump rally in Butler, PA, where the attempted assassination took place. Additionally, whistleblowers say that most of Trump’s security detail was not comprised of USSS agents but relatively inexperienced Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents.

USSS  Director Kimberly Cheatle has claimed that agents were not positioned on the building Crooks scaled to fire on Trump due to its “sloped roof,” creating safety concerns. However, local law enforcement present at the rally countered the USSS director, noting that they had informed the chain of command of Crooks and his suspicious activity nearly half an hour before the shooting took place.

ICYMI: Populist Slovak Prime Minister Who Survived May Shooting Blames Anti-Trump Media for Assassination Attempt.

Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico, who survived an assassination attempt in May, has drawn comparisons between his experience and the recent attack on former President Donald J. Trump. The Slovak populist believes the media and political left stoking hatred fueled both incidents.

Fico criticized Slovak media outlets, referring to them as “adversary media,” “anti-Slovak press,” and “[George] Soros’s herd of pigs,” for inspiring his shooting.

“If Donald Trump’s attacker had spoken Slovak, after reading [Slovak newspapers], it would have been enough to incite him to ‘set things right’ with the former U.S. president,” Fico wrote.

Fico predicted Trump‘s enemies will now begin pushing a discourse “about the necessity of reconciliation, pacification, and forgiveness,” echoing the media rhetoric following his own assassination attempt.

Liberal media, celebrities, and others in the United States and the wider West have demonized President Trump for years.

BBC presenter David Aaronovitch recently called on President Joe Biden to “hurry up and have Trump murdered on the basis that he is a threat to America’s society” in a supposedly satirical post responding to a Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity.

Many media publications have directly compared Trump to Adolf Hitler, including the New Republic, The Washington Post, and Germany’s Stern magazine.

Nigel Farage has also blamed the media for feeding into hysteria regarding Trump, saying, “It’s so unpleasant, that I think it almost encourages this type of behavior.”
