Congressional Budget Office: Mass Migration Lowers Productivity, Reduces Standard Of Living.

The Congressional Budget Office has tacitly admitted that the influx of illegal immigration into the United States is likely to have negative long-term impacts on wages and the standard of living for American citizens and immigrants living in the United States legally. According to the government agency, the U.S. labor force is projected to increase by 1.7 million in 2024 and see a 3 percent total increase by 2033, equating to over 5 million additional workers. The increase is in large part because of increased illegal and legal immigration.

While there are some marginal benefits to the expanded labor force — the CBO says the federal deficit will shrink to 6.4 percent of GDP by 2033, down from  7.3 percent in 2023 due to the increased tax base — the unchecked flow of illegal immigrants into the country also comes with concerning negative externalities. The illegal immigrants currently entering the U.S. tend to be low-skill to no-skill workers and may hurt gross domestic product. The CBO projects that per-capital GDP will have declined by nearly 1 percent a decade from now, mainly due to an increase in low-skill immigrant labor.

In addition to a decline in per-capita GDP, the influx of cheap and low-skilled workers is projected to continue to depress U.S. wages and drive up housing costs. Rising rents and home values due to increased demand — combined with lower wages — will likely result in Americans experiencing a lower standard of living a decade from now than they do today. While the increasing number of illegal and legal immigrants in the U.S. does expand the tax base, the increased consumption may also put upward pressure on the prices of daily goods — wiping out the deflationary effects of the increased labor force.

New York City is FULL, Declares Mayor Eric Adams.

New York City is “out of room” for migrants, claims Democrat Mayor Eric Adams, once a proponent of so-called “sanctuary cities” in America. Joe Biden’s unchecked flow of illegal immigrants has the city on the brink of crisis, Adams alleged in a recent interview with FOX5 NY’s Rosanna Scotto.

Adams said that while New York City is a city of immigrants and has a rich history representing the same, the current scale of migration is both unfair and unsustainable for the city and its inhabitants. He emphasized that if current immigration rates do not decline, overcrowding in the city will hit crisis levels.

“We’re not just saying we’re out of room as a soundbite,” he said. “We’re out of room, literally. People are going to be eventually sleeping on the streets.”

“I cannot break the law and enforce the law… I can’t report to ICE for deportation,” he said, taking aim at the city’s ‘right-to-shelter’ law, asserting it was not initially intended for illegal immigrants and asylum seekers.

Adams’s administration is locked in multiple legal battles over the enforcement of the right-to-shelter law. He has been vocal about the impact of the ongoing migration crisis on his city, previously asserting last September that if left unchecked, this crisis could “destroy New York City.” His administration insists it is continuing efforts to find effective ways to respond to and manage the growing crisis fueled by President Joe Biden’s open border policies.

POISONING THE BLOOD: Border Patrol Catches Mexican Trafficking 154 Pounds of Meth in Duffel Bags.

Border Patrol has recovered a 154-pound haul of methamphetamine from a Mexican drug trafficker in California. Agents discovered the drugs in a beige sedan near the El Centro Sector of the border in California.

Having been stopped, the sedan’s driver refused to consent to a search, but a K-9 sniffer dog established probable cause from outside the car, allowing Border Patrol to recover “five duffel bags with multiple packages wrapped in cellophane” from inside the vehicle.

These were found to contain 154 pounds of meth with an estimated street value of $278,000. The driver, who had previously been issued with a border crossing card, has been arrested, and his entry benefits have been rescinded.

The southern border crisis has stretched border officials’ resources thin and facilitated drug trafficking into the United States, with fentanyl, in particular, driving a significant increase in overdose deaths.

Meth and other notionally safer drugs are frequently found to be adulterated with fentanyl, with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) warning the synthetic opioid is now in “everything we seize.”

Donald Trump has vowed to seal the border if reelected, warning the spread of drugs, disease, and criminal aliens is “poisoning the blood” of the United States.

Border Crossing Injuries Up 10X Since Trump Admin.

The number of illegal aliens injured whilst attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border has increased more than tenfold since Joe Biden took office, according to data compiled by the University of California, San Diego’s (UCSD) trauma center. From 2021-2023, USCD doctors treated 1,020 patients who sustained injuries crossing the border. In 2020, Trump’s final year in office, they treated just 92.

In 2023, doctors at UCSD treated 455 patients who sustained serious injuries while attempting to cross the border. Nearly all of these injuries occurred when the illegal aliens in question fell from the border wall and landed on the U.S. side, Alexander Tenorio, a neurosurgeon at UCSD who treats brain and spinal cord injuries, told The Guardian. UCSD recorded 311 border-crossing injuries in 2022 and 254 in 2021.

The numbers reflect the exponential increase in illegal border crossings that have occurred since Joe Biden took office. In October 2023, it was reported that the number of illegal border crossings under Biden’s watch exceeded 10 million. The crisis at the border has gotten so out of hand that a majority of Americans believe it constitutes an invasion.

INVASION: 300 Chinese Entered America Illegally YESTERDAY Alone, With 20K Since October.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeing an alarming increase in Chinese nationals attempting to cross the southern border. Last year, illegal immigrants from China were the fastest-growing demographic of border crossers at 37,000 encounters. Since the start of the 2024 fiscal year in October, CBP says they’ve already encountered 20,000 Chinese nationals — that number appears on pace to shatter last year’s record.

Nearly 300 illegal immigrants from China crossed into the United States yesterday, with the daily average sitting at 150 illegal immigrants per day having originated from the Asian communist nation. The increase in Chinese nationals crossing the border is raising national security concerns, especially after CBP reduced the number of questions processors are required to ask Chinese asylum seekers from 40 to just five last April.

Image

“Our Committee has been informed that some of these Chinese nationals are affiliated with the People’s Liberation Army and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP),” House Homeland Security Committee chairman Mark Green said in a post on X (formerly Twitter), adding: “[A]nd those are just the ones we’ve been able to vet. This is simply unsustainable, and the national security risks are massive.”

The fact that the Chinese Communist Party does not allow United States border officials access to Chinese law enforcement databases makes identifying dangerous individuals even more difficult. Additionally, the increasing number of Chinese nationals crossing the border makes identifying potential infiltration by CCP intelligence agents more difficult, too. The Chinese Communist Party has deployed agents in the United States in the past to threaten political opposition leaders and other dissidents — often using friends and family in China as leverage.

Biden Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas IMPEACHED By U.S. House.

The House of Representatives voted tonight to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for dereliction of duty in failing to secure the U.S. southern border. During his tenure under President Joe Biden, Mayorkas has overseen what has been described as an ‘invasion‘ of the U.S. by illegal immigrants — with the total number of illegals in the country doubling from 10 million in 2021 to 20 million in 2024.

An initial attempt by the House to impeach Secretary Mayorkas last week failed after several key Members were absent, robbing the majority of the votes needed to pass the impeachment resolution. However, with Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) returning to Washington, D.C., after announcing his cancer was in remission, House leadership moved forward with a second vote, confident they had secured a majority for impeachment.

The impeachment resolution was passed along party lines, with three Republicans — Reps. Buck (R-CO), McClintock (R-CA), and Gallagher (R-WI) — defecting to join Democrats against the measure. Now that the House has formally impeached Secretary Mayorkas, the Senate will convene to hold a trial and determine if the Biden appointee should be removed from office.

Under Mayorkas, the Department of Homeland Security has weakened border protection, including reducing the number of screening questions used for Chinese nationals encountered at the border from 40 to just five. The change has raised national security concerns that the Biden government is making it easier for Chinese intelligence agents to infiltrate the U.S. The unchecked flow of illegal immigrants has also led to acts of violence against law enforcement in some of America’s most populous cities.

Michigan Lawmaker Stripped of Committee Role & Staff… For Retweeting Jack Posobiec.

Rep. Josh Schriver, a Republican lawmaker from Michigan, was removed from his committee assignment and had his staff placed under oversight after retweeting a post on X, formerly Twitter, by Jack Posbiec, which opponents claim is ‘racist.’

The post featured an image of a world map where black figures vastly outnumber white, accompanied by the phrase, “The great replacement!”

Michigan House Speaker Joe Tate, a Black Democrat, said he would not allow the House to be a forum for “racist, hateful and bigoted speech.” However, Tate did not explain or elaborate as to how the post in question was actually racist, hateful, or bigoted.

The so-called “Great Replacement theory” posits that there is an intentional effort to replace whites in their homelands with non-white immigrants. Given that whites make up less than 25 percent of the global population and the vast majority of migration into ‘white’ countries — which has been encouraged by Western leaders — comes from non-white nations, the ‘theory’ is broadly speaking true.

Last month, an analysis by the Collage Group found that non-white Americans will be the majority in the United States by 2050. In 2023, a BBC survey found that a third of Britons believe that replacement ‘theory’ is true.

NYPD Says ‘Well Over 5,000’ Cops Injured Amidst Migrant Crisis.

Projections suggest over 5,400 police officers were injured by suspects in New York City in 2023, as the Big Apple remains in the grip of a disorderly migrant crisis.

The number of officers injured by suspects in 2022 stood at 4,724, a 20 percent increase on the 2021 figure of 3,933. Full figures for 2023 have not been released, but 4,077 officers had been injured after just nine months, with projections indicating the total for the year would have been around 5,436.

“Well over 5,000 cops were attacked and injured last year — that’s not only a record, it’s a full-blown epidemic,” said Patrick Hendry, President of the Police Benevolent Association.

“The vicious attacks on police officers we’ve seen recently didn’t come out of nowhere. This dangerous environment has been building for years,” he continued. “It’s not going to get better until those who attack police officers are consistently prosecuted and kept in jail. And that won’t happen unless New Yorkers keep speaking up to demand an end to the chaos.”

News of the new statistics follows a high-profile attack on two police officers by a migrant gang in Times Square. Four suspects in the incident, which saw the officers repeatedly kicked in the head while on the ground, were arrested shortly afterward, and another the following day.

All turned out to be asylum seekers, and four of them were released without bail within hours of their detention, thanks to Democrat reforms. Most of them promptly absconded, sparking a nationwide manhunt.

VA Dems Want to Incentivize Illegal Immigration by Giving Migrant Minors Free Healthcare.

Virginia Democrats are pushing legislation extending “state-funded comprehensive health care coverage” to illegal aliens under 19 years of age who are not already covered by a health plan or insurance.

The so-called ‘Cover All Kids’ bill, complains Republican State Senator Glen Sturtevant, will “undermine legal immigration and incentivize illegal immigration,” coming alongside similar proposals to “grant illegal immigrants driver’s licenses.” He estimated the cost to Virginia taxpayers from the healthcare bill at over $100 million.

“These bad policies jeopardize not just Virginia’s healthcare system but create perverse incentives that illegal immigrants will see as a green light to travel to Virginia for free schooling, driver’s licenses, and now, free healthcare,” Sturtevant warned, comparing the Democrat agenda to the “sanctuary” policies which have seen cities like New York and Chicago become magnets for illegal aliens, incurring huge costs.

Similar “perverse incentives” have been seen in Massachusetts, where state ‘right to shelter’ laws have seen migrants crowd into hotels across the country at taxpayers’ expense. Whistleblowers say the scheme is running up enormous costs, with the migrants given “free diapers, wipes, toiletries, free tablets and phones, free English lessons, state caseworkers making sure all entitlements are taken, free Uber and Lyft rides, [and] free bus passes,” among a host of other benefits.

They are also said to be eating up first responder resources, with police and firefighters attending migrant hotels to deal with “fights, guns, drugs, [and] overdoses” on a daily basis.

Axe-Wielding Iranian Takes 15 Hostages on Swiss Train.

An Iranian asylum seeker armed with an axe and a knife took 15 people hostage on a Swiss train on Thursday evening. The incident ended with the migrant being shot dead in an operation involving 60 police officers, with the Swiss Prosecutor General describing it as “an unprecedented event.”

So far, the migrant has been identified only as a 32-year-old asylum seeker from Iran who spoke Farsi and English during the attack.

He forced the train’s driver to stop and join the hostages, and after efforts to convince the migrant to surrender were unsuccessful, police set off explosives to distract him before storming in.

“As the hostage-taker rushed with his axe in the direction of the intervention group, a police officer used his weapon to protect the hostages, fatally hitting the perpetrator,” said police spokesman Jean-Christophe Sauterel.

“For the moment, there are no elements which direct us towards a terrorist or extremist act,” he claimed. However, the authorities had released no details on any alternative motives or demands as of the time of publication.

None of the hostages were harmed during the incident.

Last week, an Afghan asylum seeker in England perpetrated a chemical attack in Clapham, London.
