Trump Says Notorious, Ultra-Violent ‘Tren de Aragua’ Gang in American Cities Thanks to Biden’s Open Border.

President Donald Trump has pointed out that the notorious Tren de Aragua gang from Venezuela is now operating in American cities, citing law enforcement officials in Miami and Chicago in a new opinion editorial for the Daily Mail.

“Last year, 43 percent of all ICE arrests were aliens with criminal convictions or pending charges for some 33,000 assaults, 3,000 robberies, almost 7,000 burglaries, 7,500 weapons offenses, 4,300 sex crimes, 1,600 kidnappings, and 1,700 homicides,” Trump wrote on Thursday, adding: “In Chicago and Miami, police have confirmed the violent Venezuelan ‘Tren de Aragua’ gang is now operating in their cities.”

Tren de Aragua is an incredibly violent gang known for sex trafficking as well as mass murder and racketeering. Its influence also extends to sports, with Venezuelan journalist Ronna Rísquez explaining: “…their involvement in sports activities, more precisely in the deals of Venezuelan baseball players who sign for major league clubs in the United States. Investigations indicate that they are shadow partners in several training academies and that they charge a large percentage for each contract.”

Tren de Aragua is active across Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, and Panama. It has around 2,500 known active members.

Ammon Blair, a former Border Patrol agent, said of the group: “They are specifically known for their violence and their extortion… Meaning if you don’t pay your tax, [they] first shoot your wrist. If you don’t pay it again, [they shoot] you in the ankle, if you mess up and don’t pay it again, you’re dead.”

In his Daily Mail op-ed, Trump also explained: “In New York City, NYPD officers were recently mobbed and viciously beaten by a pack of migrant criminals. In Michigan, gangs of migrants are stalking suburban houses and plundering them for valuables. And in Georgia just last week, 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley was savagely attacked and murdered on the campus of the University of Georgia. An illegal alien migrant who was released into our country under Biden has been charged with her killing.”

ICE Arrests Guatemalan Illegal Who Sexually Assaulted Kids.

A 34-year-old Guatemalan previously convicted of indecent assault and battery on a minor under 14 was arrested by the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The man entered the U.S. illegally, and his removal is pending proceedings with a federal immigration judge. The Gloucester District Court released him despite ERO filing an immigration detainer and his convictions, which also include a separate assault and battery offense.

The Gloucester District Court previously disregarded the ERO immigration detainer, allowing the Guatemalan’s release. Known as a sexual offender, he was arrested without incident at the Essex County House of Corrections, where ERO Boston encountered him and issued another immigration detainer following the arrest.

ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd M. Lyons said the individual was a dire threat to Massachusetts residents

“Unlawfully present, convicted sex offenders should not be given the opportunity to re-offend. The victim of his crimes deserves better from our justice system,” Lyons stated. “The men and women of ERO Boston will continue to protect our communities from such threats.”

CA Plots Homeownership Pathway for Illegals.

A bill introduced by California Assemblymember Joaquin Arambula (D-Fresno) could offer illegal immigrants a chance to own a home. Assembly Bill 1840 seeks to clarify the eligibility requirements of a state loan program, notably the California Dream for All Shared Appreciation Loans program, launched in 2021 to help first-time home buyers.

The loan program provides first-time home buyers with a loan worth up to 20 percent of the purchase price of a home or condominium and doesn’t require monthly payments or accrue interest. Instead, it entitles the lender to 20 percent of the increase in the home’s value when the property is sold or the mortgage is refinanced. Arambula asserts that the legislation didn’t specify eligibility criteria concerning immigration status, which could have excluded illegals.

If Assembly Bill 1840 is approved, it would expand the definition of a “first-time home buyer” to encompass illegal immigrants.

Arambula said, “The social and economic benefits of homeownership should be available to everyone.” The 2021 program reached its application limit in just 11 days, prompting a shift from a first-come, first-served system to a lottery for 2022. The program has also adjusted its income eligibility, limiting applicants to 120 percent of a county’s median income, down from the previous 150 percent.

DATA: Majority Support Military-Led Deportation of Illegals.

A majority of Americans support the use of United States military troops to arrest and deport illegal immigrants in the country. The survey conducted by YouGov found that 56 percent of Americans believe using soldiers to enforce U.S. immigration laws is necessary. Just 31 percent of Americans opposed.

Democrats, liberals, and voters who indicated they had voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election were the only demographic outright opposed to using U.S. troops to enforce immigration laws. Nearly 60 percent of Biden voters oppose the military enforcing deportation, while 32 percent support it.

Among Independent voters, 52 percent say the military should be used to arrest and deport illegal immigrants, while just 29 percent oppose it. A plurality of voters between the ages of 18 and 29 support the use of the military for immigration enforcement, with 49 percent in support and 39 percent opposed.

White voters overwhelmingly said they supported military action, with 60 percent in support and just 29 percent opposed. Black voters indicated a plurality of support, breaking 48 to 29 in support versus opposition. The data also found that the border invasion is continuing to push some Hispanic voters away from Democrats. YouGov found that 45 percent of Hispanics support the use of the U.S. military to secure the border, while 43 percent oppose it.

The National Pulse has previously reported that two-thirds of Americans believe the term “invasion” is accurate to describe the border crisis that has unfolded under the Biden government. Additionally, polling has shown that a majority of Americans now support the construction of a border wall.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams Wants To Change ‘Sanctuary City’ Status.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is calling for a change in the city’s sanctuary laws as the city continues to buckle under the pressure of the migrant crisis.

“We should not be allowing people who are repeatedly committing crimes to remain here and we cannot collaborate with ICE in the process,” Adams said during a press conference on Tuesday. The comments follow a similar statement Adams made on Monday: “If you commit a felony, a violent act, we should be able to turn you over to ICE and have you deported.” New York City’s ‘sanctuary’ laws currently prohibit city officials from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The influx of illegal aliens into New York City has brought with it an influx of serious crime. In January, security cameras captured a group of migrants assaulting police officers in Times Square. This month, the NYPD said over 5,000 of its officers had been injured due to the migrant crisis. Last week, an illegal alien stabbed a 17-year-old boy in Times Square, and a group of migrants in a tent shelter on Randall’s Island attacked police officers in an incident that nearly became a riot.

In addition to skyrocketing crime, the migrant crisis has pushed city resources to the limits, even seeing students removed from their own schools to make room for illegal aliens. Earlier this month, Mayor Adams said the city was “full” and could not accept more migrants.

It’s the Border, Stupid: Immigration Now Americans’ Top Concern.

Immigration is now rated the most important problem facing the United States for the first time since 2019 and only the fourth time since Gallup began polling the public on the issue in 1981.

In January, immigration was rated as America’s second-most pressing issue, named by 20 percent of poll respondents against 21 who identified “Government” as the country’s top problem. Both would have rated behind inflation, at 13 percent, and the “economy in general,” at 12 percent, if they were combined.

February polling saw immigration surge into a clear first place, ahead of “Government” at 28 percent to 20 percent and well ahead of inflation and the economy in general, at 11 and 12 percent, even when combined.

Gallup also found an absolute majority of Americans, 55 percent, now say “large numbers of immigrants entering the United States illegally” are a “critical threat” to the United States — a record high, five points clear of the previous record set in 2004.

A further 31 percent said illegal immigration is a significant threat, against just 14 percent who said it is not a significant threat at all.

Even among Democrats, who are far less concerned by illegal immigration than Republicans, the share of poll respondents describing it as a critical threat has risen from 20 percent in 2023 to 29 percent.

This may be a consequence of the southern border crisis beginning to shift northward, with illegal aliens arriving in Democrat strongholds such as New York City and Chicago in large numbers, draining public resources and sometimes involving themselves in high-profile crimes.

DATA: Majority of Americans Now Support Building Border Wall.

The crisis at the U.S. southern border continues to be a top concern of voters heading into the 2024 presidential election. A new poll from Monmouth University indicates a majority of Americans now support the construction of a border wall. This is the first time over 50 percent of respondents have supported the wall since Monmouth started asking the question in 2015.

During former President Donald Trump’s term in office, support for the border wall peaked at 44 percent. Until this newest poll, the most support construction of the border wall received was in 2015, with 48 percent. The February 2024 poll, however, now shows support for the wall at 53 percent among Americans.

According to the poll, 61 percent of Americans now consider immigration to be a very serious problem. An additional 23 percent of Americans believe immigration to at least be a somewhat serious problem. Among independents, nearly 60 percent say immigration is a very serious problem. The number of Americans concerned about immigration in Monmouth’s polling never crossed 50 percent between 2015 and 2019 — peaking at 49 percent.

“Illegal immigration has taken center stage as a defining issue this presidential election year,” said Patrick Murray, director of the independent Monmouth University Polling Institute. He added: “Other Monmouth polling found this to be Biden’s weakest policy area, including among his fellow Democrats.”

The border crisis has also been a dominant issue in other recent polling. A YouGov poll from early February shows the issue is even turning Hispanic voters against Biden. Nearly 90 percent of Hispanic voters said they consider the immigration issue to be ‘important’ to them. A Marist poll, also from the same period, indicated 57 percent of Hispanic voters disapprove of Biden’s handling of the border, while only 27 percent approve.

Foreign-Born Workers Surged Under Biden, Account for 1/5th of Labor Force & Still Growing.

Foreign-born workers now account for roughly 19 percent of the U.S. labor force, an increase from 17.3 percent when Joe Biden took office, according to figures from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. The number of foreign-born workers reached an all-time high last year.

That number will grow even larger due to the Biden regime’s lax border policies. A recent analysis by the Congressional Budget Office projects that the number of foreign-born workers will increase by a further 1.7 million this year due to the surge in illegal aliens crossing the border.

The figures paint a sobering picture of the extent to which the Biden regime has allowed the border crisis to fester. Since Biden took office, well over 3 million illegal aliens have been released into the country.

A recent Gallup poll shows immigration is now Americans’ top concern for the first time since 2019, and a majority of Americans believe that the crisis at the southern border constitutes an invasion.

Trump Blasts Biden Border Policies for Laken Riley Murder.

Former President Donald Trump has weighed in on the murder of 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley by an illegal Venezuelan immigrant. Trump laid the blame squarely at the feet of President Joe Biden, whose open border policies allowed the suspected murderer — 26-year-old Venezuelan Jose Antonio Ibarra — to illegally enter the United States in 2022.

“The horrible murder of 22-year-old Laken Riley at the University of Georgia should have NEVER happened! The monster who took her life illegally entered our Country in 2022…and then was released AGAIN by Radical Democrats in New York after injuring a CHILD,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social earlier today, continuing: “When I am your President, we will immediately Seal the Border, Stop the Invasion, and on Day One, we will begin the largest deportation operation of illegal CRIMINALS in American History!”

He added: “May God Bless Laken Riley and her family!!! Our prayers are with you!”

Laken Hope Riley, 22, was found dead this past Thursday after she had gone for a jog on the University of Georgia campus. The Augusta University College of Nursing student is believed to have died from blunt force trauma after having been struck by Ibara. He has been charged with seven felony counts — malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and concealing the death of another. He was also charged with two misdemeanor counts of hindering a 911 call and failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge.

‘A New Category of Crime’ – Is Trump Right About Migrant Crime? Looking Back Over the Last Week.

“We have a new category of crime, it’s called migrant crime, and it’s going to be worse than any other form of crime,” Donald Trump warned during his latest town hall.

Last month, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 171 illegal aliens over the course of a two-week operation, convicted or charged with crimes including first-degree murder and child rape, indicating the former president is right to suggest mass migration is increasing crime in the United States.

Often, migrant crime can fly under the radar. Sometimes, this is because it is confined to local and regional news and does not reach a broad audience; sometimes, this is because media outlets consciously choose not to report a suspect’s immigration background and will describe an illegal alien based in Columbus, Ohio, as simply a “Columbus man.”

This does not mean migrant crime is not happening, however. Here are some examples from reports published the last week:

BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS.

The most-reported migrant crime of recent days is the murder of 22-year-old Laken Riley in Georgia. The suspect in the nursing student’s killing is  Jose Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old illegal alien from Venezuela. He crossed the border at El Paso, Texas, was briefly detained by officials, and then, like countless others, released into the country with no meaningful oversight.

Georgia’s Mike Collins (R-10) is in no doubt about who is responsible for this deadly carelessness: “The blood of Laken Riley is on the hands of Joe Biden, [Homeland Security Secretary] Alejandro Mayorkas, and the government of Athens-Clarke County.”

STABBED IN TIMES SQUARE.

Times Square, the scene of several altercations involving migrants in recent weeks, including a high-profile attack on police officers,  saw another on Thursday.

During a brawl reportedly involving “dozens” of people, ending with a 17-year-old boy being stabbed in the lower back.

“I saw someone running… and there was blood coming from his back, coming from everywhere,” said one eyewitness.

An unnamed 22-year-old and three migrant teenagers were arrested following the attack.

BITING THE HAND THAT FEEDS.

Still in New York City, migrants Dugleidy Gonzalez-Riera, 28, Yefferson Prieto-Galviz, 23, and Morelis Blanco-Cineros, 41, were arrested for stealing “clothing, shoes and fragrances” worth over $5,300 from a string of retail locations.

The trio, who initially gave false names to police, were also found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, and the car they were driving had bogus license plates.

The migrants carried out their crimes while living in the Roosevelt Hotel at taxpayers’ expense.

MOB MENTALITY.

Randall’s Island, which hosts a tent city shelter for migrants, almost descended into riot earlier in the week as police officers attempted to arrest a migrant vigorously resisting arrest.

Fellow migrants grew restive, first heckling the officers and then pelting them with water bottles, backpacks, and other makeshift missiles in an incident captured on video.

AN AVOIDABLE TRAGEDY.

One of the saddest incidents in recent days involved the death of a 10-year-old boy, Alex Wise, in Texas.

Rogelio Ortiz, 50, who was in the United States despite having been removed from the country on six previous occasions, has been charged with mowing the boy down in a hit-and-run.

Ortiz also faces charges for driving while intoxicated.

SAFETY LAST.

An illegal alien from Guatemala, charged with molesting a child, has been released by a judge in Rhode Island despite being wanted by immigration authorities.

State Attorney General Peter Neronha expressed fury at the situation, as his office had “argued that the court should order the defendant held without bail on the grounds that he posed a danger to the community and was a flight risk.”

ICE confirmed the alleged pedophile reached the U.S. interior “without being inspected, admitted or paroled by an immigration official” — a reminder that the migrant “encounters” logged at the southern and northern borders are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of illegal entries.

THE CHICAGO STRANGLERS.

A final example, Venezuelan migrants Fernando Loyo-Rodriguez, 22, Wilker Gutierrez Sierra, 21, Carlos Carreno-Carreno, 20, and Yonnier Guasamucare Garcia, 18, were arrested in Chicago for attacking a 49-year-old man on a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) train,

The attack did not take place in the very early or very late hours, but at 4:30 p.m., and saw the victim beaten, strangled to the point of unconsciousness, and robbed.

Like some of the other migrants on this list, the suspects are all confirmed to have been “staying in area shelters” on the taxpayers’ dime.
