New York Times: Jill Biden ‘Is Shielding Her Husband.’

The New York Times has reported that First Lady Jill Biden is “shielding her husband” Joe, especially from media scrutiny, and exercises great amounts of influence in the 46th President’s West Wing.

Quoting from the Times’ White House Correspondent’s new book “American Woman: The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, From Hillary Clinton to Jill Biden,” the “paper of record” admits:

Within Mr. Biden’s inner circle, no one knows how taxing the job can be more than Jill Biden, the first lady. At times, she has worked to shield him from the sort of off-the-cuff interactions with reporters that occurred on Thursday evening, when Mr. Biden veered away from scripted remarks and started answering questions.

It goes on:

Dr. Biden’s influence is felt in both the White House and the Biden campaign, and there is little doubt among those who know her that one of the first lady’s highest priorities is shielding her husband and family.

She has been directly involved in the hiring of members of his press staff and other senior aides, and is in most of his political meetings. When she does not like something, she points it out. Campaign aides and White House officials privately joke that if Dr. Biden is with him at an event, it is sure to end on time. (Mr. Biden is otherwise often late.)

Some of the people hired by Dr. Biden feel that her East Wing can be a safe haven from an intense workplace, because, as one person close to her put it, no one would dare fire one of her hires.

The news comes shortly after Special Counsel Robert Hur concluded that Biden was mentally unfit to stand trial for “willfully” retaining classified documents from his time as Vice President.

Boris Johnson Calls Tucker Carlson a ‘Slack-Jawed Traitor to Journalism’ for Putin Interview.

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson – who reportedly scuppered a Russia-Ukraine peace deal 18 months ago – has used his Daily Mail column to brand journalist and Putin interviewer Tucker Carlson a “traitor to journalism,” accusing him of bum-sucking servility to a tyrant.”

Johnson, who was ousted as Prime Minister due to a number of corruption scandals involving his Clinton-linked wife, Carrie Symonds, recently took on a role at the increasingly liberal-leaning GB News channel in the United Kingdom.

“He was just the medium, the sewer, the hose by which the untreated slurry of Putin’s message could be sprayed where Putin wants it most — over the fertile heartlands of America,” wrote Johnson in an angry screed on Friday.

Johnson scarcely denied the assertions made by both Vladimir Putin and pro-Ukraine globalist Fiona Hill, that he was the cause of the prolonged war, simply referring to the allegation as “ludicrous” and insisting, “nothing and no one could have stopped those lion-hearted Ukrainians from fighting for their country — and nothing will.”

His op-ed concludes with an appeal to President Trump, stating: “I hope and believe that if President Trump is elected again he will confound his critics, turn his party [a]round and complete the work that he began when he became the first U.S. President to give arms to the Ukrainians.”

Trump indeed sold Javelin missiles to Ukraine, rather than demanding the American taxpayer fund the nation’s military. In return, globalists and Ukraine-firsters such as Lt. Col. Alex Vindman attempted to have Trump impeached.

MSNBC: Third-Party Candidates ‘A Threat to Our Democracy.’

During an appearance on MSNBC on Wednesday, Tara Setmayer, former CNN commentator and senior adviser to The Lincoln Project, said that third-party presidential candidates are “a threat to our democracy.”

“I think that third-party candidates are spoilers. I mean, history could potentially repeat itself again, and now more than ever, the idea of a third party is a threat to our democracy.” Setmayer remarked during a discussion about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s independent campaign.

Setmayer’s assertion that giving voters in a democracy more choices in elections is a threat to democracy is odd, as The Lincoln Project is, in its own words, “dedicated to the preservation, protection, and defense of democracy.” Observers have noted, however, that the phrase “threat to democracy” is increasingly becoming a catchall used by globalists to describe anything with which they disagree and threatens the globalist power structure.

“You’ll see over the course of the next couple of months. Basically, everything is a threat to democracy,” National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam noted in a January interview with Steve Bannon. “The oxygen you breathe will be a threat to democracy, elections, casting your vote — that’s a threat to democracy. Every single thing that isn’t globalism writ large is a threat to democracy in their terms, in their words,” Kassam said.

In a speech marking the third anniversary of the Jan 6 riots, Joe Biden said that “democracy” is at stake in the 2024 presidential election, a sentiment echoed by Setmayer, who also said during her Wednesday MSNBC appearance that “Donald Trump is a threat to our democratic system.”

Tucker Carlson Subject to Sanctions for Crime of Journalism, Say Globalist EU Politicians.

European Union (EU) politicians are threatening to sanction U.S. journalist Tucker Carlson for interviewing Vladimir Putin, despite European journalists often interviewing the Russian leader and his officials.

Guy Verhofstadt, a senior Member of the European Parliament (MEP), President of the European Movement, and former Prime Minister of Belgium, denounced Carlson as “Putin’s mouthpiece” and “an enemy of everything the U.S. stands for.”

He told Newsweek the conservative journalist could be subjected to a travel ban, explaining: “As Putin is a war criminal and the EU sanctions all who assist him in that effort, it seems logical that the External Action Service examine his case as well.”

“Carlson wants to give a platform to someone accused of crimes of genocide — this is wrong,” concurred Urmas Paet MEP, a former Estonian foreign minister.

“If Putin has something to say he needs to say it in front of the [International Criminal Court]. At the same time Carlson is not being a real journalist since he has clearly expressed his sympathy for the Russian regime and Putin and has constantly disparaged Ukraine, the victim of Russian aggression,” Paet alleged.

None of the European politicians had seen the content of Carlson’s interview with Putin, as it has yet to air.

Carlson insists that, as a journalist, it is his job to secure interviews with significant figures shaping world events if he can. He also says his team asked Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky for an interview but has not received a response.

Tucker Says He’s Also Asked to Interview Zelensky, Hasn’t Yet Heard Back.

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has revealed he traveled to Moscow, Russia, to interview the country’s president, Vladimir Putin. He also emphasized that the same interview request was extended to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but he has yet to receive a response.

Carlson has repeatedly criticized both Republicans and the Biden government for continuing to fund the Ukrainian war effort, perpetuating the conflict, which has seen an estimated 500,000 people killed since Russia launched its invasion in 2022. The lack of knowledge among Americans regarding the ongoing human cost of the war was a key factor in his decision to move forward with the interview with Putin.

“Here’s why we’re doing it. First, because it’s our job. We’re in journalism. Our duty is to inform people,” Carlson said, announcing the interview on his Tucker Carlson Network. He continued: “Two years into a war that’s reshaping the entire world, most Americans are not informed. They have no real idea what’s happening in this region, here in Russia or 600 miles away in Ukraine. But they should know. They’re paying for much of it in ways they might not fully yet perceive.”

“The war in Ukraine is a human disaster. It’s left hundreds of thousands of people dead. An entire generation of young Ukrainians,” he added before explaining that the war has also reshaped military and trade alliances and disrupted large parts of the global economy.

Other American populist leaders have joined Carlson’s call for an end to U.S. involvement in the war. Late last year, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) said Ukraine would likely need to cede some territory to Russia to bring the war to an end. The Ohio Republican argued Ukrainian’s demands that the 1991 borders with Russia be restored — backed by the Biden government — were unrealistic.

Kassam: E. Jean Carroll’s Giddy Media Tour Is ‘Laughing In The Face of Real Rape Victims.’

The National Pulse’s editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam appeared on One America News’s (OAN) Tipping Point, detailing the bizarre post-defamation trial behavior of E. Jean Carroll. The writer and advice columnist who last week won a ‘ludicrous’ $83.3 million judgment against former President Donald Trump has undertaken a whirlwind media tour, most recently appearing on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show.

Carroll, appearing giddy, offered to take the liberal MSNBC host shopping for a completely new wardrobe adding, “Rachel, what do you want? A penthouse? It’s yours, Rachel!” As she continued, Carroll’s plans for spending the judgment became more nonsensical with her suggesting to Maddow they go fishing in France. For her part, Carroll appears to sincerely enjoy the newfound media attention, going so far as to throw a victory party at the ‘Flower Shop’ bar in the Lower East Side.

Speaking with OAN’s Kara McKinney, Kassam noted the grotesque nature of the public display Carroll has put on since her legal victory against Trump. Addressing Carroll’s changing story and off-color comments before, during, and after her two defamation trials against the former President, he explained: “They’ve given us an insight into a character who is – appears to be – wildly delusional.”

“Remember what we’re talking about here. This is a situation where she is alleging and continues to allege – and it’s not allowed now to have any pushback for fear of defamation cases – that a man, Donald Trump in this instance, forced himself on her,” Kassam told Kinney, before continuing: “And yet she’s on national television joking about shopping sprees and fishing trips and laughing along.”

He added: “They’re laughing in our faces. They’re laughing in President Trump’s face… They’re laughing in the faces of ordinary Americans. And quite frankly they’re laughing in the face of rape victims with this attitude. This cavalier attitude. This political attitude.”

E. Jean Carroll Throws Rape Claim Victory Party With ‘Unbiased’ Reporters.

Donald Trump accuser E. Jean Carroll has been hailed as an “icon” at a media party in Manhattan, hosted by Rolling Stone editor-in-chief Noah Shachtman and MSNBC and Vanity Fair journalist Molly Jong-Fast.

Also in attendance at the ‘Flower Shop’ bar in the Lower East Side were MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell, Studio 360 host Kurt Andersen, former Saturday Night Live producer Marci Klein, Puck columnist Tara Palmeri, New York Times opinion columnist Lydia Polgreen, and Washington Post staff writer Sarah Ellison, according to Page Six.

“She looked like a hero. It’s great to see women winning the day,” said one unnamed eyewitness quoted by the New York Post. Another speculated the advice columnist “could buy the bar” after a New York court awarded her $83 million because Trump denied raping her in a luxury department store sometime in the 1990s.

Carroll has also said she will use the money to buy “premium dog food” and cause Trump “pain,” possibly by campaigning with Joe Biden for the 2024 election. She has cultivated a close relationship with journalists since commencing her lawsuits against the former president, which were funded by Democrat mega-donor Reid Hoffman.

Shortly after the most recent verdict in her favor, she appeared on MSNBC and offered to take host Rachel Maddow shoe shopping and buy her a penthouse. Trump does not have to pay Carroll until he exhausts his options to appeal.

Biden SuperPAC Makes Largest Ad Purchase in U.S. History to Target Battleground States.

The Democrat SuperPAC backing President Biden’s re-election bid is reserving television air time it claims will be the largest political ad buy in U.S. history. Future Forward plans to reserve $250 million worth of advertising through a variety of mediums across the country.

Future Forward says the bulk of its ad buy  — $140 million — will be committed to television, while the remaining $110 million will be spread across digital and streaming services. The spending represents a significant uptick from the group’s expenditure during Biden’s 2020 campaign, in which the Democrat-aligned SuperPAC spent $151 million.

Swing State Media Blitz

The SuperPAC plans to target critical battlegrounds, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, with a barrage of ads from August to Election Day. Future Forward’s campaigns are expected to spotlight topics such as Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act and various Latino concerns in Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.

President Biden’s 2024 campaign committee and the PrioritiesUSA SuperPAC have already rolled out a strategy centered around a significant use of social media to mainly target the presumptive Republican nominee, former President Donald Trump. The SuperPAC and Biden campaign’s aggressive spending is likely in response to recent polls showing Trump leading the Democrat incumbent in most swing states.

Polls indicate that concerns about the 81-year-old Biden’s advanced age, his handling of inflation, increasing global instability, and the ongoing border crisis are fueling voter uncertainty toward his re-election.

E. Jean Carroll Says She’d Campaign With Biden, Spend Trump’s Money Against Him to ‘Cause Him Pain’.

E. Jean Carroll’s post-trial publicity tour is undercutting her testimony that former President Donald Trump’s comments on social media and in the press drew undue attention to her, causing reputational damage. Appearing on CBS Mornings, Carroll told the panel of hosts that instead of the the spotlight being on her, she — and the media — are the ones drawing attention to Trump and giving him “power.” Separately, on Good Morning America, she said she’d like to use the money to cause Donald Trump “pain.”

“We’re the ones who clothe him in all this power,” Carroll said, referencing the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale The Emperor’s New Clothes. She added: “He has none himself, it’s his followers. It’s his hangers-on. In the court, they were strutting back and forth, handing him messages.”

After making the admission, Carroll suddenly looked at her lawyer Roberta Kaplan — seated next to her for the interview — and asked, “Right Robbie?” before breaking the line of thought entirely.

During Carroll’s second defamation trial against former President Trump, her legal team relied heavily on the argument that the former President’s posts to his massive social media audience brought negative attention to Carroll, hurting her professional and social standing. They called on Northwestern University marking and communications professor Ashlee Humphreys to bolster their claim as an ‘expert witness’ on reputational damage and repair. Upon cross-examination, however, Prof. Humphreys admitted she had no real-life experience in the field of reputational management.

When asked about former President Trump’s campaign to return to the White House and if she’s spoken with his opponent, President Joe Biden, Carroll said she had not. The CBS panel then asked her if she could join Biden in campaigning against Trump, with Carroll responding: “I’d do anything I can.”

In another Sunday appearance on Good Morning America with George Stephanopoulos, Carroll said she is considering using some of the $83.3 million judgment against Trump to “cause him pain.”

She told the host: “I’d like to give the money to something Donald Trump hates. If it will cause him pain for me to give money to certain things, that’s my intent.”

Last week, a New York City jury ordered former President Trump to pay Carroll nearly $90 million in damages.

NeverTrumper David French Admits: ‘I Was Completely, Embarrassingly Wrong… I Missed The Extent of Republican Anger’.

‘Never Trump conservative’ turned New York Times columnist David French has admitted to being not “just wrong” but “completely, embarrassingly wrong” about Donald Trump and the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement.

While making clear that he is not coming around to the notion of putting America First, French explains in a new New York Times column that just before Trump burst onto the political scene, “The winds were shifting. I could sense it, but I didn’t fully understand it. Not until Trump made it all plain.”

French, who has now spent the best part of a decade bemoaning the 45th President, now acknowledges the “bond” between Donald Trump and most Republican voters and concludes:

“I don’t regret my arguments against Trump. I’d make them again, and I will continue making them. I do ask myself how I missed the sheer extent of Republican anger. And I’m deeply, deeply grieved by the thought that I did anything in my life before Trump to contribute to that unrighteous rage.”
