CIA Analyst: Jan 6 Wasn’t a Coup & Trump Is NOT an Authoritarian Threat.

Former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) analyst Martin Gurri is urging some perspective on January 6th and Donald Trump. With the media panicmongering about a descent into authoritarianism under a second Trump term, Gurri believes the “hysteria” is unwarranted.

“I know what some political depressives will be thinking – and they’re wrong,” Gurri wrote. “January 6 was not an insurgency aiming to install Trump as Chief Authoritarian.”

The former CIA analyst explained that “[i]n an insurgency, people with guns shoot at each other and lots of them die,” but on Jan 6 the only fatality was “a young woman who was shot by a Capitol policeman… She was unarmed, as was the rest of the trespassing mob. There’s no such thing as an unarmed insurgency,” he added.

Those skeptical of the “Jan 6 as insurrection” narrative have often pointed out the strangeness of the supposed insurrectionists showing up without firearms, despite the U.S. boasting a heavily armed citizenry.

Gurri was occasionally unflattering about Trump himself, but said he met none of the requisites to become a dictator. Typically, would-be dictators command the military or the security services. “What would happen if Trump ordered the FBI or the 101st Airborne Division to start shooting Democrats? Homeric laughter,” Gurri suggested.

Other would-be dictators depend on private militias – but “if Trump is training a militia somewhere off the 18th hole at Mar-a-Lago, not even the Times has heard about it,” Gurri observed.

“If you insist that Trump is an authoritarian, if you continue to maintain that he’s the greatest threat ever to our democracy, then you’re portraying [his] voters as goose-stepping bigots — and you know full well that they’re not.”

WATCH: Chris Christie Cries ‘Discrimination’ Because Trump Keeps Calling Him a Fat F*ck.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is crying “discrimination” over his own obesity, claiming: “It is the one discrimination in this snow-flake world we live in that’s still allowed.” Christie’s remarks came during an interview with Fox News host Neil Cavuto who prodded the long-shot candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination for his reaction to primary front-runner Donald Trump’s continued jabs calling him a “fat pig.”

“At the end of the day, and I have said this in return, who’s he? Hercules?” Christie told Cavuto, eliciting an awkward laugh from the anti-Trump news anchor, before adding: “We’re not talking about an Adonis here.”

Channeling a caricature of ‘New Jersey tough-talk’, Christie awkwardly threatened the former President  Trump, saying, “Look I can’t ever guarantee what I’ll do if I’m face to face with him.” He added: “Guys from New Jersey have been used to dealing with obnoxious guys for New York for a long time.”

During an early August campaign rally in New Hampshire, former President Trump humorously suggested reasons for why several of his primary opponents were not present in the state at the time, positing Christie absence was “because he’s eating right now.” Another individual in the crowd can be heard shouting at Trump: “Call him a big fat pig!”  Trump sarcastically scolded the man, responding: “Sir! Please do not call him a fat pig. That’s very disrespectful. Don’t call him… see I’m trying to be nice! Don’t call him a fat pig!”

Comments made by Trump regarding Christie’s weight in 2016 generated far less attention from the former New Jersey Governor or the media. While hosting  a fundraiser for Christie in 2016, Trump chastised the decision by Nabisco – parent company of  Oreo’s Cookies – top move their operation  Mexico, saying he would’t eat Oreos anymore. He then turned to Christie and cheekily said: “You’re not eating Oreos anymore. No more Oreos.”

WaPo Staff to Strike on Thursday.

The Washington Post is set for a 24-hour walk-off on Thursday after failed attempts to secure a fresh deal over working conditions, including pay and remote work. This was announced by the union representing these workers who criticized the newspaper’s management for refusing to negotiate “in good faith.” According to the Washington Post Guild, which consists of about 1,000 staff members from both the newsroom and commercial departments, the decision to stage the strike was not taken lightly.

The newspaper, owned by Amazon’s founder Jeff Bezos, had hinted at possible layoffs, following a period of unsuccessful negotiations that have spanned 18 months. The union stated that the management had “repeatedly and unlawfully shut down discussions on key issues.” They also emphasised the importance of fair treatment for the staff in order to maintain top-tier journalism.

This demonstration follows a series of recent strikes across various industries in the United States. Other media outlets faced similar actions earlier this year, with workers from Gannett, the country’s largest newspaper publisher, and New York Times staging walk-outs. Last month, Associated Press staff also initiated a “short break” over a lack of contract, rejecting a proposed 2 percent raise from management.

LISTEN: Frasier’s Kelsey Grammer Tells BBC He Still Supports Trump, Paramount+ PR Team Ends Interview.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has alleged that Paramount+ public relations officers cut short an interview with Frasier star Kelsey Grammer after the award-winning actor reiterated his support for President Donald J. Trump.

Early in the interview – in which Grammer also discussed the murder of his sister and his friendship with co-star Nicholas Lyndhurst –  the Cheers and associated spin-off star said Roseanne Barr inspired the Frasier relaunch. Noting Barr was also a Trump supporter, interviewer Justin Webb later asked if Grammer is still a backer of the 45th President.

“I am, and I’ll let that be the end of it,” Grammer replied with a slight chuckle, before the interview came to an abrupt halt.

Webb explained, afterwards: “I have to say actually Kelsey Grammer himself was perfectly happy to go on talking about it. The Paramount+ PR people, less happy that he talked about it at some length,” said Webb after the pre-recorded interview, suggesting part of their discussion was not aired.

“But I should stress that he was perfectly happy to talk about why he supports Donald Trump and still does in the forthcoming election,” Webb added.

Grammer explained in 2019 that he welcomed Trump as a disruptor, saying did not “think Washington did us any favors for the last 50, 60 years. I think they’ve all been sort of the same party, the same bunch of clowns, the same bunch of really unpleasant people, and I don’t think they’ve been helping anybody but themselves.”

WATCH: Tucker Carlson Explains Why He’s Voting for Trump.

Tucker Carlson has officially endorsed Donald Trump for President. He has revealed he became an “active” supporter of the America First leader after the Joe Biden-controlled Justice Department began its campaign to imprison him.

“I certainly support Trump, I’ll tell you that,” he told actress and comedienne Roseanne Barr. “I mean, I’ve always agreed with Trump’s policies, always, and I lost friends over it… I’ve never really actively supported anybody, because it’s not my job to actively support people. I watch, you know? I like to watch. I’m a voyeur,” he quipped.

“But I became an active Trump supporter when they raided Mar-a-Lago last summer,” he explained. “That can’t stand.”

“I agree with Trump on a lot, but even if I disagreed with Trump on a lot, I’d still be a Trump supporter, because you cannot allow that. You cannot allow the regime, the President of the United States, to use the Justice Department to knock the frontrunner out of the race,” he continued.

“So it’s bigger than Trump, it’s bigger than Biden. It’s a question of, do you want to live in a free country with a functioning justice system.”

Carlson vowed to “lead protests” and send Trump “max donations” if the former president is convicted.

Barr said she felt the same way.

WATCH: Chris Cuomo ‘Open’ To Trump 2024 Vote.

Former CNN news anchor Chris Cuomo has indicated that he would be open to voting for former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, seemingly reversing his previous hardline never-Trump position.

Cuomo, who was sacked by CNN in 2021 after he supposedly assisted his brother, the former Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo, in fighting sexual misconduct accusations, made the remarks during an interview with the PBD podcast earlier this week.

“We survived a Trump administration, would we survive another one? Yes, yes. I don’t think there’s any greater risk to America with him than with Biden… the data is the data. Nobody was trying to kill us when Trump was President in a way that they’re not now. If anything, there’s more hostility,” Cuomo stated.

He was then asked whether he would consider voting for the 45th President by podcast host Patrick Bet-David, to which he responded, “I am always open. And I’ll tell you this, people say, ‘Oh, bullsh*t. You’ve never voted for Republican in your life.’ Wrong. And not only have I, the first vote I ever cast was for a Republican.”

Cuomo’s admission comes just days after Donald Trump registered his largest ever lead over Joe Biden, holding 2.6-point lead over the incumbent President.

BREAKING: MSNBC Axes Mehdi Hasan Show.

Far-left British TV journalist and commentator Mehdi Hasan has had his weekend program on MSNBC canceled by streaming service Peacock, with the network planning to expand Ayman Mohyeldin’s weekend show to two hours to replace Hasan’s show, reports suggest.

Two people familiar with the decision told Semafor that Hasan will be used as an on-camera analyst and fill-in host by the network going forward.

Hasan, 44, has come under increasing fire in recent weeks for using his weekend show and online platform to amplify his strongly anti-Israel stance following Hamas’ violent incursion into Israel in early October. His previous comments comparing non-Muslims to “cattle” and “animals” while giving lectures in British mosques have also resurfaced online following the outbreak of the conflict.

War on Cenorship: Rumble Sues ‘Check My Ads’ Group for Defamation.

Rumble, a pro-free speech alternative to YouTube, is suing the globalist-affiliated ‘Check My Ads’ group for defamation. Rumble accuses the tax-exempt organization of “routinely target[ing] news outlets and platforms that do not adhere to their political worldview” by seeking to deprive them of ad revenue.

“As an unapologetically free-speech platform, Rumble’s mission is to provide all content creators and users a place to speak, listen, and debate freely, regardless of their political perspective,” explained Rumble chairman Chris Pavlovski.

“When anti-free speech zealots, whose self-declared mission is to shut Rumble down, lie to inflict intentional economic harm on our company, we have no choice but to hold them accountable,” he added.

Specifically, Check My Ads is being sued for “accus[ing] Rumble of lying to its shareholders and the Securities and Exchange Commission about the company’s financial health and the source of its revenue.”

Check My Ads co-founder Nandini Jammi is a serial censorship advocate, having once run the notorious ‘Sleeping Giants’ group that targeted news websites like Breitbart.com in a bid to bankrupt them. Jammi has also confessed a strange obsession with radio host Dan Bongino, boasting about being the “CEO of ruining” him – an admission of her targeted approach.

Pavlovski describes Rumble’s lawsuit as “another front in the ongoing war against censorship” after the Musk lawsuit. He also cited Donald Trump’s Truth Social suing 20 corporate media organizations, including MSNBC, Forbes and The Guardian.

Sandy Hook Families Demand $85M from Alex Jones to Settle $1.5BN Suit.

Lawyers for Sandy Hook families who sued Alex Jones say they will settle for $85 million over ten years. A judge initially ordered Jones to pay an astonishing $1.5 billion, because he said he believed the Sandy Hook shooting was a false flag staged to make the case for tighter gun controls. Jones and his company, Free Speech Systems, subsequently filed for bankruptcy.

The lawyers complain Jones continues to live an “extravagant lifestyle”. They also complain he is not selling off his assets or preserving his estate’s value.

“Jones has failed in every way to serve as the fiduciary mandated by the Bankruptcy Code in exchange for the breathing spell he has enjoyed for almost a year. His time is up,” the lawyers wrote to the court overseeing his bankruptcy. They say Jones can either liquidate his estate or agree to hand over $8.5 million a year for a decade, plus half of any income over $9 million per year.

Jones’s bankruptcy lawyer, however, argues the proposed settlement is unreasonable.

“There are no financials that will ever show that Mr. Jones ever made [enough money to pay $85 milliom] in 10 years,” she says.

Jones has told the court the most he can manage is $4 million a year. This would be funded through sales of his supplements and merchandise, among other revenue streams. His operating costs are around $14.3 million, including his $520,000 salary.
