‘FEMA Should Be Terminated’ — Trump.

President Donald J. Trump has declared that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has been a “disaster” and should be abolished, expressing particular displeasure with its treatment of North Carolinians. “FEMA spent tens of millions of dollars in Democrat areas, disobeying orders, but left the people of North Carolina high and dry,” he wrote on his Truth Social platform, adding that the agency “is now under review and investigation.”

“THE BIDEN RUN FEMA HAS BEEN A DISASTER,” the America First leader continued. “FEMA SHOULD BE TERMINATED! IT HAS BEEN SLOW AND TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE. INDIVIDUAL STATES SHOULD HANDLE STORMS, ETC., AS THEY COME. BIG SAVINGS, FAR MORE EFFICIENT!!!”

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), led by Kristi Noem, has already fired four employees after FEMA was alleged to have transferred tens of millions of dollars to luxury hotels being used to house illegal immigrants in defiance of one of President Trump’s executive orders.

The agency came in for heavy criticism in the final months of the Biden-Harris government after Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton wrought devastation on Florida and North Carolina, in particular. FEMA workers in Florida were discovered to be skipping houses with Trump signs in the wake of the disaster, and they also refused to help Trump supporters in parts of North Carolina, claiming they felt threatened by them.

Elon Musk, who now leads the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), also accused FEMA of blocking and even seizing aid he was attempting to distribute to disaster victims through his companies.

Disney Halts DEI Programs Amid Investor Pressure.

The Walt Disney Company appears poised to be the latest major corporation to discontinue two of its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives amid investor pressure. Yesterday, The National Pulse reported that Deloitte—the largest consulting firm in the world and holder of numerous contracts with the United States federal government—announced to staff it was ending its DEI programs.

According to its recent Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, Disney will remove the “Reimagine Tomorrow” program from its 2024 SEC 10-K report’s DEI section. The “Reimagine Tomorrow” initiative was featured in the 2023 report as a digital platform intended to amplify supposedly marginalized voices and outline Disney’s commitments to DEI. The decision to withdraw the program follows previous controversy that arose during a summit held last year, where discussions among company executives regarding increased LGBTQ+ content in Disney’s offerings were leaked.

As of the time of publication, the “Reimagine Tomorrow” program’s online presence remains. The current webpage also details racial and gender composition within Disney’s content and workforce, drawing from data as of 2021. It highlights the role of Business Employee Research Groups in representing a diverse employee base.

Disney’s decision regarding the future of its “Reimagine Tomorrow” program could signal a significant scaleback in the company’s push of DEI initiatives among its employees and public-facing programming. However, there are some concerns that the move may also be an attempt by Disney to merely conceal its DEI projects in the hopes of allaying public scrutiny.

Woman Sentenced to 12 Years for Enslaving Children with ISIS.

A woman has sentenced a woman to 12 years in prison for taking part in the enslavement of children and women in Syria when she was a member of the Islamic State terrorist group. Lina Ishaq, 52, was found guilty of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes by a Stockholm court and was sentenced on Tuesday, February 11.

Ishaq was a member of the Islamic State terrorist group and lived in Raqqa, Syria, in 2015, when the group controlled that area of the country. During that time, she enslaved at least three women and six children belonging to the Yazidi minority.

The victims, who all appeared as plaintiffs in the case, stated they were all held for at least five months by the terrorist group after Islamic State fighters had initially captured them during a series of attacks on their villages in Iraq in August of 2014.

Ishaq is said to have forcibly converted the victims to Islam and made them recite the Quran and pray five times a day. The victims were also forced to do household chores, and some were held for years by human traffickers.

While the Islamic State no longer holds vast swathes of territory in Syria and Iraq, and several of its leaders have been killed, the group remains a threat. Several recent terror attacks have seen perpetrators pledge allegiance to the group, including the New Orleans New Year’s Day terrorist.

Justice Department Drops Charges Against NYC Mayor, Citing Interference with Immigration Crackdown.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has instructed federal prosecutors to dismiss corruption charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams, asserting that the legal action hinders his ability to support President Donald J. Trump’s illegal immigration crackdown. Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove is ordering an immediate end to the bribery case against the Democrat mayor.

Bove emphasizes that the decision to drop the charges is not motivated by any perceived weakness in the case but by its timing—coming too close to Adams’ reelection campaign—and its impact on his capacity to address administration priorities. “The pending prosecution has unduly restricted Mayor Adams’ ability to devote full attention and resources to illegal immigration and violent crime,” Bove wrote.

The memo instructs New York prosecutors to halt any additional investigative actions against Adams until after the November mayoral election. However, it leaves the door ajar for potential charges to be refiled post-election.

Adams’s attorney, Alex Spiro, hailed the decision as a vindication. “Now, thankfully, the mayor and New York can put this unfortunate and misguided prosecution behind them,” Spiro suggested.

The charges against Adams, filed in September, accused him of accepting illegal campaign contributions and luxury travel perks exceeding $100,000—such as flight upgrades, opulent hotel stays, and a bathhouse visit—while he served as Brooklyn Borough President. Prosecutors alleged that a Turkish official who facilitated these trips later pressured Adams to influence the Fire Department to approve a new diplomatic building’s opening for a visit by Turkey’s president.

It was also alleged that Adams directed campaign staff to solicit and disguise foreign donations to exploit a city program matching small contributions with public funds, violating federal laws prohibiting foreign contributions to U.S. campaigns.

DHS Fires FOUR Employees for Funneling Money to NYC Migrant Hotels in Violation of Trump EO.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) says it has fired four employees responsible for funneling $59 million to several New York City hotels to house illegal immigrants in contravention of an executive order signed by President Donald J. Trump. Whether all four employees were with DHS or the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is unclear.

Yesterday, The National Pulse reported that DHS said it would fire the individual—or individuals—responsible for paying $59 million to New York City for illegal immigrant housing. “Individuals who circumvented leadership and unilaterally made this payment will be fired and held accountable,” DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said, responding to revelations of the payments posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Elon Musk.

Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) uncovered the payments early Monday, with the SpaceX chief posting on X: “The DOGE team just discovered that FEMA sent $59M LAST WEEK to luxury hotels in New York City to house illegal migrants.”

“Sending this money violated the law and is in gross insubordination to the President’s executive order,” Musk continued, adding: “That money is meant for American disaster relief and instead is being spent on high end hotels for illegals!”

“A clawback demand will be made today to recoup those funds,” Musk concluded.

According to New York City, the $59 million was part of funding authorized under the Biden government for the housing of illegal immigrants and other support. Of the total, $19 million was directly spent on hotel and housing costs, while the remainder covered food, clothing, and building security.

Trump’s Border Czar Says FBI Leaked ICE Operational Plans, Culprit Facing Prison.

President Donald J. Trump’s border czar has confirmed that the person suspected of leaking operational information relating to a raid by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is connected to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). During an interview on February 10, Tom Homan stated that a criminal investigation had been launched into the matter by the Department of Justice (DOJ).

“They have opened up a criminal investigation, and they have promised that not only will this person lose their job and lose their pension, they’re going to go to jail, they’re going to criminally prosecute. So we’re all over it,” Homan said.

The alleged leaker warned the media of an ICE operation in Los Angeles that was targeting illegals with deportation orders, some of which were known criminals and gang members.

Operation Compliance was set to be one of the most significant immigration enforcement operations in the last few years and looked to arrest thousands of illegals.

Another leak occurred regarding an operation in Colorado that was focused on Tren de Aragua gang members who have been terrorizing locals in places like Denver, Colorado. The leaker allegedly tipped off the gang, who fled their apartments before ICE arrived.

Under Homan, ICE has arrested over a thousand illegals since President Trump’s inauguration, including serious criminals wanted for murder and child rape.

Ozempic Users Face Blindness Risk as Doctors Warn of Serious Side Effect.

A series of new reports has raised concerns over potential links between popular weight loss medications and vision loss. Several studies indicate that drugs such as Ozempic and Mounjaro, which contain semaglutide and tirzepatide, may contribute to conditions leading to severe and possibly permanent blindness.

Researchers recently highlighted nine cases in the United States where individuals experienced vision loss after using these drugs. In one documented instance, a woman experienced blindness in her left eye the morning after receiving her first injection of semaglutide. Despite stopping the medication, she had to resume it due to her diabetes, only to lose vision in her right eye shortly after.

Another case involved a woman taking semaglutide for a year. She developed vision issues because of retinal blood vessel damage. Additionally, a man suffered eye bleeding linked to tirzepatide, though he was advised to continue the medication due to insufficient evidence of the drug causing his condition.

Experts suggest that rapid reductions in blood sugar levels associated with these weight loss drugs might harm eye blood vessels, resulting in vision loss.

Despite these findings, causation has not been definitively proved. The American Academy of Ophthalmology has advised patients experiencing vision problems while on semaglutide to consult their physicians, but has not advised against the drug’s use overall.

Ozempic is manufactured by the Danish company Novo Nordisk, which has previously used race to try and get U.S. taxpayers to foot the bill for its obesity drugs through programs like Medicare.

Record Low Asylum Claims in European Country with ‘Zero Refugee’ Policy.

Asylum seeker admissions have been reduced to historic lows in Denmark after it implemented a “zero refugee” policy, despite the country being ruled by a government of social democrats. Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Fredericksen has supported a tougher asylum seeker policy since coming into power in 2019, and has now managed to reduce approved asylum applications to just 860 last year.

Kaare Dybvad Bek, Denmark’s immigration minister, called the figure “historic,” making Denmark one of the countries that approved the fewest asylum seekers in the European Union in 2024. The EU member received a total of 2,500 asylum requests last year, while neighboring Germany received over 213,000 applications.

Denmark has also been at the forefront of European countries pushing for better migrant integration. In 2023, the country began destroying migrant no-go zones in an effort to stop the growth of parallel societies.

Vollsmose, a suburb of the city of Odense, was destroyed, with the migration-background residents later relocated to different parts of the city with lower populations of people from non-Danish backgrounds.

Other countries have also begun adopting policies similar to Denmark’s to reduce immigration and asylum claims. In Sweden, for instance, a right-wing government backed by populists claimed last year that more migrants had left Sweden than entered.

However, some noted that the Swedish claim may have been exaggerated, with the statistics possibly a result of the Swedish Tax Registry clearing its books of people who had already left Sweden.

Trump Says Canada Will Be ‘Much Better Off’ as 51st State, Doubles Down on Gaza.

President Donald J. Trump has reiterated his ambition of bringing both Canada and Gaza under U.S. control. The comments emerged during an exchange with reporters aboard Air Force One as he traveled to attend Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9.

Trump suggested again that Canada could become America’s 51st state, saying, “I think Canada would be much better off being a 51st state. Because we lose $200 billion a year with Canada, and I’m not going to let that happen, it’s too much. Why are we paying $200 billion a year essentially in subsidy to Canada? Now if they are a 51st state, I don’t mind doing it.”

Trump justified his stance by citing Canada’s $200 billion annual economic loss, stating that the U.S. “subsidizes” its northern neighbor.

On the Middle East, Trump alluded to potential U.S. control over Gaza amid ongoing conflict negotiations involving Israel and Hamas. Reporting to correspondents on Air Force One, he expressed commitment to “owning” Gaza, proposing reconstruction could be shared with Middle Eastern countries.

Border Patrol Arrests Gulf Cartel Hitman in MICHIGAN.

Border Patrol agents have arrested a man they believe to be a leader of Mexican cartel hitmen in Michigan, who has prior arrests for several crimes. Detroit Sector Chief Patrol Agent John Morris announced the arrest of Melquiades Salgado-Garza during an immigration enforcement operation. Salgado-Garza’s criminal background reportedly includes burglary, forgery, and previous immigration violations.

Additionally, over the weekend, agents at the Sault Ste. Marie Station apprehended a suspected member of the Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan prison gang known for its violent activities, including taking over entire apartment complexes in U.S. cities. 

In a separate incident, Border Patrol agents from the Marysville Station arrested a Mexican national who has faced ten prior arrests for illegal entry into the United States since 1999. Authorities are currently processing this individual for removal.

Since the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump, border czar Tom Homan and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have orchestrated a wave of arrests, taking over a thousand illegals into custody, including serious criminals.

The arrest of the alleged cartel hitman comes amid claims that the cartels may use explosive drones to target Border Patrol agents. President Donald J. Trump has already declared the cartels foreign terrorist entities, opening the path to U.S. military action against them.
