Pelosi’s Claim Illegal Immigration was Higher Under Trump Debunked: Four Pinocchios.

The Washington Post has assigned “four Pinocchios” to former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi after she claimed “fewer [migrants] came in under President Joe Biden than came under Donald Trump.” According to the Jeff Bezos-owned newspaper, “It’s a documented fact that at least four times as many migrants entered the United States under Biden than under Trump.”

Aides to Pelosi, 84, subsequently claimed she intended to say that Biden is on course to deport more migrants than President-elect Trump did in his first term, citing a Reuters article. However, the WaPo notes that, even if this were truly what Pelosi intended to say, it is still wrong, and “Biden almost certainly will have fewer deportations than Trump” overall by the end of his term.

“When we dig deeper in the numbers, her statement veers even more off course,” the newspaper continued, noting that most Biden-era deportations are relatively straightforward affairs conducted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Meanwhile, deportations by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have collapsed.

Under Trump, ICE deportations were 72,500 in 2017, 81,860 in 2018, 72,710 in 2019, and 52,870 in 2020. Biden managed only 28,250 ICE deportations in 2021, 25,470 in 2022, 39,170 in 2023, and 35,850 through July 2024.

The Washington Post fact-check gave Pelosi’s border claims four Pinocchios out of a possible four, reserved for untruths considered “Whoppers.”

‘GEORGE IS GETTING UPSET!’ – Seinfeld Actor Rage Quits X.

Jason Alexander, the 65-year-old actor best known for portraying the hapless George Costanza in Seinfeld, has rage quit X, formerly Twitter, following President-elect Donald J. Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris on November 5. Alexander joins several left-liberal public figures and organizations to have exited the platform, whose owner, Elon Musk, campaigned for Trump, in a fit of pique following the election.

“Well, everyone that cares… I am leaving this platform permanently. I will post this and then delete my account. For those who enjoy me, Im on Insta, Threads, and BlueSky [sic],” he wrote, referring to the X alternative set up by Jack Dorsey.

“I wish you all well. Take care and be good to each other. Best wishes always,” he added.

While some exiles from X have left their accounts dormant, leaving the option of returning open, Alexander deleted his entirely shortly after announcing his departure—perhaps irked by the flood of George Costanza memes and messages thanking him for “self-deporting” that the announcement prompted.

He had been heavily invested in the Democratic election campaign, fundraising for the party through the ActBlue platform, only to see it lose the White House, House of Representatives, and Senate to Trump.

MSNBC Faces Backlash Over Al Sharpton’s Pre-Interview Payment from Kamala Harris.

MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton is facing criticism following reports that his non-profit received $500,000 from Kamala Harris’s campaign ahead of a softball interview with the Vice President. Financial records indicated that the Harris-Walz campaign made two payments, each amounting to $250,000, to Sharpton’s National Action Network on September 5 and October 1.

Hedge fund manager Bill Ackman is among those voicing concerns over the payments, suggesting there were attempts to  “manipulate the audience” when Sharpton interviewed Harris on MSNBC.

The then-Democratic candidate effusively praised Sharpton during the appearance, calling him ‘Rev’ and saying, “You have been such an extraordinary leader over all of your years. You have been a voice of truth, a voice of conscience.”

Sharpton has been described as a “genuine bigot” even in The New York Times, with Brown University professor Glenn Loury calling him “an ambulance-chasing, anti-Semitic, anti-white race hustler.”

Former Congressman John Linder says the Harris-Sharpton MSNBC interview was effectively a “campaign commercial,” with the host echoing the Democratic nominee’s campaign talking points and criticizing rival candidate Donald J. Trump.

The Harris campaign’s financial management generally has been questioned, with reports indicating it spent over $1 billion and still ended up $20 million in debt. Expenditures reportedly included paying around a million dollars to a company owned by billionaire talk show host Oprah Winfrey, who endorsed Harris on the campaign trail.

Sydney Sweeney Slams Hollywood’s ‘Women Empowering Women’ Narrative as Fake.

Sydney Sweeney says the narrative of  “women empowering other women” in Hollywood is a sham. “It’s very disheartening to see women tear other women down, especially when women who are successful in other avenues of their industry see younger talent working really hard—hoping to achieve whatever dreams that they may have—and then trying to bash and discredit any work that they’ve done,” she told Vanity Fair.

Sweeney was personally targeted by octogenarian Hollywood producer Carol Baum, who said of her, “Explain this girl to me. She’s not pretty, she can’t act. Why is she so hot?”

“This entire industry, all people say is ‘Women empowering other women.’ None of it’s happening,” Sweeney said of the controversy. “All of it is fake and a front for all the other shit that they say behind everyone’s back.”

The 27-year-old suggested there is an issue with women feeling only one of them can be “at the top,” and so “all the others feel like they have to fight each other or take that one woman down instead of being like, ‘let’s all lift each other up.'”

“I’m still trying to figure it out. I’m just trying my best over here. Why am I getting attacked?” she asked.

Clinton & Obama Economist Admits Illegal Immigrants Suppress Wages.

Former Bill Clinton administration Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, who also served as Director of the National Economic Council under Barack Obama, is tacitly admitting that the federal government and state governments tolerate illegal immigration because it suppresses the wages of American workers. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Democrat economist and former President of Harvard University argued that President-elect Donald J. Trump’s plans to deport illegal immigrants en masse would tighten the labor market. Summers contends the subsequent rising wages would be inflationary.

“I think every sensible American thinks we need to do more to secure our border. But if you’re talking about deporting millions of people, that is an invitation to labor shortage and bottlenecks,” Summers wrote on Thursday. He added: “I hope Trump will get the message from this election and adjust his program so that it is not inflationary. I certainly hope that if his program is inflationary, it will not be accommodated by the Federal Reserve.”

Summers’s post exemplifies the likely line of attack corporate lobbyists and  Democrats on Capitol Hill will take against Trump’s immigration crackdown. However, his argument belies the fact that rising wages would cause the inflationary pressures he is referring to—an acknowledgment that mass immigration, and especially illegal immigration, is used to artificially keep the cost of labor lower than its actual market value.

The National Pulse previously reported that the unchecked flow of cheap illegal immigrant labor likely had a deflationary effect in late 2023. Even more concerning, government data suggests a large swath of the native-born American workforce has been replaced by foreign-born labor under Joe Biden, potentially increasing the downward pressure on wages further.

Climate Extremists Charged Over Attack on Stonehenge.

Prosecutors have charged two members of the extremist group Just Stop Oil after they damaged Stonehenge in June. The vandalism occurred as part of a demonstration that saw orange powder sprayed on the monument.

Rajan Naidu, 73, and Niamh Lynch, 20, face charges of destroying or damaging an ancient protected monument and causing public nuisance. Legal proceedings will commence with a first hearing scheduled on December 13.

Post-protest, English Heritage, the custodian of the site, reported that specialists had successfully removed the orange powder from the stones. Stonehenge, a structure dating back to prehistoric times, is a protected site, both for historical reasons and because the stones are home to certain rare lichens.

Funded by Getty oil fortune heiress Aileen Getty, Just Stop Oil has been behind several attacks on famous artworks and historical artifacts. In May, law enforcement arrested two members of the group for attacking the Magna Carta in the British Library.

Courts have already sentenced several Just Stop Oil activists for their actions, including five who received sentences in July. The five were all sentenced to between four and five years for blocking traffic on a major motorway, with the judge in the case branding them “fanatics.”

“You have appointed yourselves as the sole arbiters of what should be done about climate change, bound neither by the principles of democracy nor the rule of law,” the judge said.

Another Win! MSNBC’s Joy Reid Deletes Her X Account Following Trump’s Landslide Victory.

MSNBC host and far-left fabulist Joy Reid has deleted her social media account on tech entrepreneur Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) platform following President-elect Donald J. Trump’s landslide 2024 election victory. Reid is best known for her on-air and live-streamed tirades, often baselessly accusing Americans of racism and peddling far-left conspiracy theories.

Earlier this year, the far-left mainstay at MSNBC emerged as one of the leading BlueAnon conspiracy theorists regarding the attempted assassination of Trump in Bulter, Pennsylvania. In a video posted on social media, Reid—under the auspices of ‘just asking questions’—posits Trump may have been struck by glass and not a bullet.

“We still don’t know for sure whether Donald Trump was hit by a bullet, whether he was hit by glass fragments, whether he was hit by shrapnel—we don’t have those details,” Reid states in her video, going on to falsely claim that the public has no details from Trump’s attending physician at the Butler, Pennsylvania area hospital where he was treated.

The National Pulse reported in March of this year that Reid was dismissing concerns over crime caused by illegal immigrants, accusing the Republican Party of “demagoguing” the murder of 22-year-old Laken Riley. While attempting to criticize the Laken Riley Act, legislation in Congress addressing criminal immigrant detention, the MSNBC host revealed she was oblivious to the fact that local authorities simply release many illegal immigrants arrested for crimes before federal officials can detain them.

Additionally, Reid has appeared utterly ignorant of basic political knowledge at times. In 2020, she insisted the website FiveThirtyEight derived its name from the number of votes by which Al Gore lost Florida to George W. Bush. FiveThirtyEight takes its name from the total number of electors in the Electoral College.

Minnesota Somali Pirate Imprisoned for Journalist Kidnapping.

Two Somali men, Abdi Yusuf Hassan—a naturalized U.S. citizen—and Mohamed Tahlil Mohamed of Mogadishu, have each received 30-year prison terms for their involvement in the 2012 kidnapping of American journalist Michael Scott Moore off the Somali coast. The two Somali pirates were convicted in 2023 following prosecution by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).

The abduction took place in Galkayo, Somalia, when armed men forcibly extracted Moore from his vehicle. The captors, wielding rifles and grenade launchers, initially transported Moore to a remote location. There, he was held alongside two fishermen from the Seychelles, who had been taken the previous year. The DOJ detailed that Moore endured severe maltreatment, including being chained at night, while being moved between a hijacked vessel and various safe houses.

According to the DOJ, Hassan—a former resident of Minneapolis—emerged as the operation leader, orchestrating activities from his residence and controlling ransom negotiations. Mohamed was identified as responsible for Moore’s security, training guards and managing the team overseeing Moore’s detention.

Over the extensive period of Moore’s captivity, the pirates demanded ransom payments from the U.S. government and coerced Moore into recording videos as proof of life. The journalist’s family managed to raise $1.6 million, ultimately securing his release in 2014.

Moore’s ordeal became public knowledge following the publication of his memoirThe Desert and the Sea: 977 Days Captive on the Somali Pirate Coast, in 2018.

Satire Site The Onion Purchases Alex Jones’s Infowars.

The satirical news site The Onion has secured Alex Jones‘s Infowars in a bankruptcy auction, backed by Sandy Hook families owed over $1 billion by Jones following a crippling defamation lawsuit. Robbie Parker, whose daughter was killed in the tragedy, celebrated the purchase, admitting the destruction of Jones’s business was an underlying goal of the defamation suit: “The dissolution of Alex Jones’ assets and the end of Infowars is the justice we have long awaited and fought for,” he said.

The sale price remains undisclosed, and Jones, in a social media video, has stated he intends to file legal objections. He also claims efforts are being made to shut down his studio presently, without a court order, and that he expects his broadcast on Thursday will be his last.

The Onion has so far declined to comment on its plans for Infowars’ assets, including the website, studio, and video archives.

Jones has said he plans to move his broadcasts to new platforms if necessary and that preparations have already been made.

Boris Johnson Claims Republicans Have ‘Homoerotic’ Fascination with Putin.

Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson alleges some Republicans with President-elect Donald J. Trump’s ear have a “weird homoerotic fascination” with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. The British Conservative complains that “factions within the Republican Party… think [Putin is] an all-around stand-up guy, and they love his manly Christianity.”

“It’s complete nonsense. He’s a tyrant and a kleptocrat and a murderer and a very, very dangerous and bad man,” complains Johnson, a Ukraine fanatic who heaped praise on the neo-Nazi Azov Brigade in London recently.

Johnson also alleges Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is among those “whispering a lot of absolute nonsense” to President-elect Trump about ending the war in Ukraine. Orbán, a national conservative leader far friendlier to Trump than Johnson—who smeared the America First leader during his initial run for the presidency and welcomed his replacement by Joe Biden—has long advocated de-escalation and a peace deal in Ukraine, fearing the war’s impact on Ukraine’s Hungarian minority and European energy security.

Johnson has suggested British troops may have to be sent into Ukraine if Trump reduces American aid to the Eastern European country. However, after years of cutbacks under Johnson’s Conservative Party, the British Army would be unlikely to make a significant difference on the battlefield, even if deployed in its entirety due to its incredibly small size.
