Sweden Jails Quran-Burning Activist for ‘Incitement Against an Ethnic Group.’

A Danish anti-Islam activist has been jailed in Sweden for four months after taking part in protests that involved setting the Islamic Quran on fire. Rasmus Paludan has been found guilty in the Malmö district court of “incitement against an ethnic group,” charges he firmly denies.

Paludan, leader of Denmark’s Stram Kurs (Hard Line) party, intends to appeal the conviction. His charges relate to two protests in April and September 2022. During the April demonstration, he allegedly wrapped bacon around a Quran, subsequently setting it on fire, kicking, and spitting on it.

He also reportedly made derogatory remarks about Muslims, stating they “like to use violence” and contribute to “unrest and disharmony.” Muslims erupted into riots several times after Paludan’s Quran-burning protests.

Paludan is also accused of telling an individual to “go home to Africa,” adding: “Africans do not belong in Sweden.”

Judge Nicklas Söderberg stated that while criticism of Islam and Muslims is supposedly permissible, Paludan’s comments exceeded acceptable discourse, aiming instead to insult and defame. In addition to his prison sentence, Paludan must pay SEK 20,000 ($1,840) to the individual he is accused of insulting.

Paludan remains adamant that he did not utter the alleged remarks, arguing that the court based its decision on interpretations rather than exact quotes.

Muslim groups along with world leaders like Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have called on Sweden to ban Quran burnings. While a ban on Quran burning was implemented in Denmark, it remains technically legal in Sweden under free speech protections.

J6er Sentenced to 8 Years Amid ‘Fedsurrection’ Claims.

Zachary Alam, a participant in the U.S. Capitol protest on January 6, 2021, has been sentenced to eight years in prison, one of the longest terms handed out among participants. He has already been in pretrial detention for around four years.

Alam was frequently spotted leading demonstrators on January 6, and he entered Capitol premises through a shattered window. Inside, he assaulted law enforcement and caused property damage. A jury convicted him in September on eight felony counts alongside a series of misdemeanors.

In court, Alam asserted that he acted on what he believed was right, despite acknowledging the illegality of his actions. Wearing an orange prison uniform on Thursday, he reiterated his beliefs about the 2020 election being illegitimate. “Trump just won the presidential election less than 48 hours ago,” he said. “Was the 2021 transfer of presidential power warranted? I don’t think so.”

Alam has been a point of discussion in “fedsurrection” theories, notably appearing on Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson, which suggested he was collaborating with police. He told the court that he was moved to solitary confinement after other January 6 inmates began to believe he was a “confidential human source.”

Throughout his trial, both federal prosecutors and Alam’s defense rejected allegations of him being a federal agent. Instead, they described him as a fervent Trump supporter acting of his own accord. Judge Dabney L. Friedrich dismissed any evidence of such cooperation.

Alam’s legal representation emphasized his mental health in pursuit of a lesser sentence. Prosecutors had asked the court for 11 years.

Mike Davis Said WHAT!?

Conservative lawyer Mike Davis issued a strong warning to New York Attorney General Letitia James regarding her targeting President-elect Donald Trump. In a recent interview on The Benny Show podcast, Davis stated that any continued “lawfare” against Trump, which he believes infringes on the former president’s constitutional rights, could lead to serious consequences for James.

Davis, who established the Article III Project, a group focused on opposing perceived partisan legal maneuvers and advocating the appointment of conservative judges, made his comments following Election Day. “Listen here, sweetheart, we’re not messing around this time, and we will put your fat ass in prison for conspiracy against rights. And I promise you that,” he said.

In a separate interview with Newsmax, Davis elaborated on potential legal repercussions for James. “Number one, you’re about to get reversed on appeal by even Democrat-appointed judges on the New York Appellate Court for your bogus lawsuit against President Trump,” he said, reiterating: “Number two, you better be careful, because when you politicize and weaponize law enforcement against your political enemies, you are engaged in a very serious federal civil rights felony called ‘conspiracy against rights’ under 18 U.S. Code § 241.”

There is speculation that Davis might be considered for the position of U.S. Attorney General in Trump’s administration.

The Biden-Harris Justice Department is already set to abandon the Jack Smith-led federal prosecutions of the President-elect in light of his election victory.

Injuries and 62 Arrested After Antisemitic ‘Pogrom’ in Amsterdam.

Israel was forced to send aircraft to the Netherlands this week to rescue Israeli soccer fans who were attacked in the streets of Amsterdam, leading to five injuries and at least 62 arrests.

Videos have emerged on X and other social media platforms showing antisemitic mobs attacking supporters of the Maccabi Tel Aviv soccer club and chanting anti-Israeli slurs on Thursday, November 7.

Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsema stated that police had to escort the Israeli soccer fans to their hotels. She added that they were targeted for violent attacks, including having fireworks launched at them.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his office sent five airplanes to Amsterdam to help the soccer fans get home.

Dick Schoof, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, who is part of a right-wing coalition with anti-Islamist Geert Wilders‘s party, said he was “horrified” by the scenes.

“This is completely unacceptable. I am in close contact with all parties involved and have just spoken to
[Prime Minister] Netanyahu by phone to stress that the perpetrators will be identified and prosecuted,” he wrote on X.

Wilders, meanwhile, called the attacks a “pogrom,” saying, “We have become the Gaza of Europe. Muslims with Palestinian flags hunting down Jews. I will NOT accept that. NEVER.”

Shoe Giant Says It’ll Slash Imports From China After Trump Victory.

Steve Madden, a large footwear company, has announced it will significantly reduce its imports from China by up to 45 percent over the next year. This decision follows the re-election of Donald Trump, who has proposed imposing tariffs on Chinese imports as high as 60 percent. Rather than onshoring in the United States, however, Steve Madden CEO Edward Rosenfeld said alternatives such as Brazil, Cambodia, Mexico, and Vietnam are under consideration as sources for the company’s products.

“We have been exploring these alternatives for some time,” Rosenfeld stated, according to CNBC. “As of yesterday morning, we are implementing our plan. You can expect a quicker reduction in the percentage of goods we source from China moving forward.”

He noted that while two-thirds of the company’s business currently relies on imports, 70 percent originates from China.

“Achieving this target would mean that just over a quarter of our business would be affected by potential tariffs on Chinese goods,” Rosenfeld added.

The potential tariff increase is part of Trump’s continued tough stance on China. He recently told The Wall Street Journal that a severe tariff hike would be considered if China invades Taiwan.

Zhu Baoliang, an economist, suggested that a 60 percent tariff could decrease China’s exports by $200 billion.

Monkey News: Dozens of Simians Escape Research Facility, Residents Urged to Secure Homes.

Dozens of monkeys have escaped from a research facility in South Carolina. Authorities claim there is no health risk to the public, but they have warned locals to keep their doors and windows locked.

State officials warned residents in Beaufort County following the escape of over 40 monkeys from a research facility on Wednesday, November 6. The Yemassee Police Department confirmed that 43 rhesus macaque monkeys managed to flee the Alpha Genesis facility. Efforts to capture the animals include the use of traps and thermal imaging cameras.

Police have advised residents to keep doors and windows locked to prevent the primates from entering homes. They urged anyone who spots the animals to contact emergency services and refrain from approaching them. As of Thursday morning, no monkeys had been recaptured.

Alpha Genesis, the facility in question, breeds monkeys and offers nonhuman primate products and research services internationally. According to its website, the company conducts clinical trials related to progressive brain disorders and houses various species.

The company, which also oversees a large colony of rhesus monkeys on nearby Morgan Island, also known as “Monkey Island,” has had previous incidents of escapes.

Prior lab leaks have led to the spread of disease, including the alleged lab leak in Wuhan, China, that is believed to have caused the COVID-19 pandemic.

Initially, both government and media sources claimed the COVID-19 lab leak theory, popularized by Donald Trump, was false. However, earlier this year, even the New York Times published pieces admitting the disease likely originated as a lab leak.

Mike Pompeo Wants You to Forget He Legitimized the Democrat Lawfare Campaign Against Trump.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who served in the first Trump administration, appears to be campaigning for a return to his old job. A former Republican Congressman from Kansas—who also served a stint as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) under President Donald J. Trump—faces a steep hurdle in seeking out a job in the new administration. Pompeo, along with several other former Trump allies, legitimized the Biden government’s lawfare campaign against Trump in an effort to put distance between themselves and the former and future president of the United States.

“It’s good that the weaponized Jack Smith cases are being dropped, but they never should have been brought in the first place,” Pompeo wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, adding: “This was a gross abuse of power and politicization of the Justice Department.”

However, the former Secretary of State sang a very different tune in 2023 when Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ)—and its special counsel Jack Smith—moved to indict Trump over allegations he mishandled classified documents.

“If the allegations are true, and there’s lots of indications that they are, President Trump had classified documents where he shouldn’t have had them, and then when given the opportunity to return them, he chose not to do that for whatever reason,” Pompeo said during an appearance on Fox News in June 2023. He continued: “I suppose we can all make mistakes and get them to the wrong place, but when somebody identifies that, you gotta turn them in. So that’s just inconsistent with protecting America’s soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines, and if the allegations are true, some of these were pretty serious, important documents. So that’s wrong.”

Far-Left Guardian Offers Staff Counseling After Trump’s ‘Very Upsetting’ Election Triumph.

Following President-elect Donald J. Trump’s victory on Tuesday, Britain’s far-left Guardian is rolling out a range of mental health and support services for its devastated employees. “I know the result has been very upsetting for many colleagues,” editor Katharine Viner wrote in an email to staff. Viner noted that U.S. staff would be “most directly affected by the result” and urged international staffers to “contact your American colleagues to offer your support.”

Viner struck a dramatic tone in her email, warning that Trump’s triumph “could reverberate for a million years.” To help staff get through what she described as an “alarming” situation, Viner laid out a range of services for staff to access: British staff are to receive mental health support, 24/7 access to online doctors, and “virtual wellbeing tools,” American staff can access two Employee Assistance Programs, and Australian staff can even access “professional counselling.”

The Guardian is also moving to grift off the President-elect, with Viner writing to readers saying “it will take brave, well-funded independent journalism” to “stand up” to a restored Trump administration and asking for money to do it.

Previously, the British newspaper capitalized on The Wall Street Journal and other high-profile U.S. newspapers declining to endorse Kamala Harris, offering her full-throated support and raising around $2 million by doing so.

Kamala’s Failed Campaign Is $20 Million in Debt After Blowing $1 BILLION.

Vice President Kamala Harris‘s 2024 presidential campaign will end its failed effort to hold the White House for the Democratic Party over $20 million in debt. Federal Election Commission (FEC) data shows the Harris campaign blew through over $1 billion in just 107 days after replacing the 81-year-old incumbent President Joe Biden at the top of the ticket.

All in all, the 2024 presidential race was the most expensive in American history, surpassing both the 2020 and the 2012 elections. In the latter contest, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney raised over $1 billion.

While on paper the Harris campaign’s spending looks comparable to what Democrats have raised in recent presidential contests, the very short time frame in which it was raised and spent is telling. The high burn rate of campaign dollars only to face a resounding electoral defeat in both the popular vote and the Electoral College suggests voters were, by and large, turned off by both the party’s candidate and its message.

This notion is underscored by a study from the Media Research Center (MRC), which shows that Harris enjoyed overwhelmingly positive corporate media coverage compared to her opponent, President-Elect Donald J. Trump. According to MRC’s analysis, 78 percent of corporate media coverage regarding Harris was positive. Meanwhile, Trump received just 15 percent positive coverage—a 63-point Democratic advantage.

Positive media coverage is generally valued at three times or more the cost of an ad spot. When taken into consideration, the positive media coverage of Harris would suggest the Democratic presidential nominee could not win over voters even with a billion-dollar campaign and upwards of $3 billion in earned media coverage.

Biden-Harris DOJ Prepares to Close Down Jack Smith’s Lawfare Prosecutions.

Multiple sources report that special counsel Jack Smith is in discussions with senior Department of Justice (DOJ) officials about ending his cases against President-elect Donald J. Trump. This follows the Department’s longstanding policy of prohibiting prosecuting a sitting president.

Smith’s team is evaluating how to halt proceedings in both the federal election subversion case in Washington, D.C., and the ongoing appeal concerning the classified documents case, which was dismissed by Judge Aileen Cannon.

In June 2023, Trump faced charges of unlawfully keeping classified documents post-presidency and obstructing their retrieval, to which he pleaded not guilty in Florida’s federal court. By August 2023, additional charges were filed against him for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election. Again, Trump pleaded not guilty.

The Supreme Court’s recent ruling granting partial immunity to presidents has significantly impacted these cases. As a result, the January 6 case has been returned to a lower court, while Judge Cannon dismissed the classified documents case, reasoning that Smith’s appointment as special counsel was unconstitutional. His appointment did not receive presidential or congressional approval.

Trump has publicly stated his intention to swiftly dismiss Smith once inaugurated.
